After a while, my performance started to suffer, and I was fired. This happened with my first few jobs, and getting fired turned out to be one of the best things that could have happened to me. I think if I got too comfortable, I might have stayed there far longer than I should have.

The Decision to Move to Thailand

After getting fired, I didn't really know what I was going to do next. One thing I was certain about is that I wanted to live in Thailand. So, a few mates and I decided to visit for a holiday and loved it so much that we made a pact: we said that we're going to make 10K per month and live in a pimp house in Chiang Mai, playing Skyrim all day. One of my mates actually did that.

The question was, how was I ever going to make that happen? I knew a bit about marketing, so I started around sales copy as a freelancer, and it was okay, but it wasn't scalable, and I wasn't making much money.
