what's up youtube hope you guys are,feeling refreshed from the new year and,ready to dive into some more,shopify theme development in 2021 and,beyond,today i've got a video i've been,planning for quite a while actually,we're going to be talking about,troubleshooting when it comes to shopify,theme development so if you're finding,yourself getting stuck while developing,shopify themes,and needing clarity around what's gone,wrong then definitely stick around,i'm gonna show you some hacks and,strategies that will help you a lot when,it comes to finding,and fixing errors in your code so let's,get started,straight away,so in today's video we're going to look,at strategies and tools,to use in order to troubleshoot when,writing,shopify liquid code json schemas scss,and javascript let's start with shopify,liquid,alright so in this video just like a lot,of my coding tutorials here on this,channel,involving shopify theme development i'm,going to be doing this from the,environment,of my developer store chris testing shop,so if you've done my tutorials before,you should be well familiar with,what this store is and how i created it,if not,you can create your own development,stores by just going to,partners.shopify.com and signing up,it will allow you to create as many,development stores as you want,and then you can use that as an,environment for,doing shopify theme development the,other thing i've done here,is i've duplicated the standard debut,theme which comes,for free on new shopify store installs,and i've just added a page template,before i show you any further i'm just,gonna,increase the size of everything zoom in,nice and tight so that you guys can see,everything clearly,sorry if everything's a bit too big on,the screen but this will save me from,having to zoom in,alright so what i have done is i've gone,into the code i've created an alternate,page,template so as you can see here i've got,page.testing.liquid,how i did that was i just went into here,select page,put in testing hit create template and,then after you do that,you go into pages add a new page i've,already got mine here,and then you just change the template,suffix to page.testing or whatever yours,is called,just note that the page template or the,alternative template whether it's page,or product or collection,needs to be on the live theme so just,make sure you create it on the live,theme if you want to select,it in your admin alright so this is the,page we're going to be working off i'm,going to hit,view page and you can see here we've got,the title and the page content which is,currently blank so,this is coming through as blank and then,i'm going to go back to,my themes here and let's dig into the,code,by going to actions edit code as you can,see,page.testing.liquid is already open so,i'm all good,i'm going to click this icon to hide all,the other stuff give us a bit more,screen real estate,and i'm going to demonstrate to you guys,now what i see,as the biggest issue when doing shopify,liquid c

hello everyone my name is Raquel and in,this video we will see how Shopify's,multi location feature works well so in,mentoring Before we jump into action let,me give you a quick overview on what so,one meant three is all about and how you,can integrate your shopify account with,zero inventory so Zoho inventory is a,cloud-based inventory and auto,management solution using which you can,manage your inventory across multiple,locations and your orders across,multiple sales channels now let us see,how you can integrate your Shopify store,with zero inventory for that login into,yours / inventory account and navigate,to the integrations tab from the screen,layer appears click on shopping cart and,click on the setup now option under,Shopify from there enter your store name,and click on connect,after a brief evaluation of your,credentials the Shopify store will be,successfully connected to yours or,elementary organization once connected,you will be taken to the configuration,page where you can modify the,integration settings like the same time,for orders items enabling the stock push,from ZOA mentoring to Shopify and so on,so let me give you a quick overview on,how the integration actually works so,when you integrate your Shopify store,Reds over inventory we will bring the,items from Shopify store into the oven,venturi and if the items is already,present in the saw inventory,organization we will map them together,based on the item name from there on the,stock information from zobo inventory,will be pushed to your Shopify store,once the items link is done any new,order that would be placed in your,Shopify store will again be fast into,Zoho inventory along with its contact,and from there on you can create,invoices and package with ins /,inventory and the shipment details will,then again be pushed back to your,Shopify store to know more on this,please click on the pop-up icon on the,top of the video now let us see how you,can map the location sends over,inventory here are two scenarios on how,you can map Shopify locations with zero,inventory however before doing this,please ensure that you enable the,multi-bear house option Enzo inventory,to do that click on settings and choose,the backhoes option so this is the case,one if you have connected Shopify LEDs,or Melfi very recently in this case,navigate to the Shopify details page by,clicking on integrations shopping cart,and show details option under Shopify,from the screen that appears scroll down,and you can enable the locations feature,in Zobel inventory so as you can see I,have created multiple locations in,Shopify here and these locations will be,visible in the Zohan entry as well so,here you can choose the back houses that,you would like to map and hit save now,let us see case 2 if you have been using,the Soho inventory and Shopify,integration for a long time if this is,the case navigate to the Shopify's,detail page by clicking here and as you,can see you would need to reauthorize,the integration for that

okay let's talk about email SMTP,settings and again kind of like domains,is a little bit confusing so we're gonna,make sure that we you fully understand,this because it's pretty important this,is actually again clickfunnels they use,just like they did in the previous,videos using CloudFlare comm to manage,the connections between domains and,hosts we're going to use SMTP Services,to control all the email okay so there,is no built in emailing from,clickfunnels okay very important this is,not an optional step and we need to have,our emailing setup to ensure that we're,gonna reach the inbox when we do things,like obviously receive emails,fulfillment emails and then even later,on when we talk about automation emails,for a cart abandonment and stuff like,that obviously we need to have this set,up okay so click funnels has different,options in terms of how to set up,okay these are third-party providers,that can power your emailing through,click funnels and similar to domains,we're only gonna have to set this up,once we're not going to have to ever log,back into any of these services that we,use but we just need to set it up once,ok and you click over here SMTP settings,to actually see what they want you to do,here there are definitely different ones,we want to focus on the SendGrid,implementation ok the SendGrid,implementation it's totally free okay,I'll walk you through at different,settings over here but basically what,we're doing is using send grid as our,platform to send emails through click,phones ok and we're not gonna be logging,in to send grid we're not gonna have to,do anything inside set inside send grid,when we start we just basically need to,go over here and have a,basically a setup process for SendGrid,so because we're gonna use,SendGrid we need to make a SendGrid,account it's totally free go to Santa,grid,I could even Google Santa grid free and,see try SendGrid free you have 40,000,emails I think a month on the forever,free plan see 30 days so we're coming,over here in to sign up and I'm sure to,create a new account here and we'll do,the free plan,make sure we're doing down here try for,free okay this is the free account sign,up that we would be using with,clickfunnels,and just enter in some information over,here I'll bring it off on the other,screen real quick just enter in my info,dad's bring them back to the next page,got entered some more personal,information okay and I've created my,free account you want to make sure that,you note down your username and your,password for sure so you can go ahead,and finish the implementation over on,clickfunnels,so we'll minimize this actually we need,to make sure that we verify our account,so we'll go to verify account and make,sure that we handle that before we go,back over into clickfunnels okay so I,went to my email I just clicked the,verification email that they sent and,now my account is ready to go so let's,go back into clickfunnels now and we're,coming over into our integrations for,e-mail SMT
