hey guys this one is the best shopify,apps for single product stores,one product stores or if you have maybe,a small selection of items,you're not a huge store with tons of,items to list,this may be for you these themes are,really all about telling your brand,story,your story of the products just,interacting with,your customer base a little bit more,also having your store on the side,some of these are completely free some,are paid,the free ones are great the paid ones,are great too you can have a look at,them and see which one you want to go,for,so the first one is narrative this is,made by shopify,so if you sign up with shopify you can,get this theme for free you can upload,it start using it and editing it right,there with shopify for free,so maybe if you're a small business that,offers services like,uh dog grooming or something like that,then obviously you're not going to have,too many products on your site but you,do need to tell your brand story,maybe you do have some things that you,can drop ship to customers,so this one might be for you if you're,more of a company that needs to,tell the story of actually what you're,going to do for your customers,maybe you're a business that sells items,to order really unique items,you can definitely tell the story of,your brand what you do,on this theme so you can actually get,four different styles,in this theme you can see them here i'm,gonna flick through them so they're,definitely,way different to each other so you can,see how different the same theme can,look,you can not only choose one of these,styles but you can also go into the,theme editor,change this yourself to make it really,unique to your brand as well,if you want to know more about editing,themes and making them really stand out,and unique to you and your brand i'll,link some tutorials in the description,below you can go and check those out up,at the top you can also see this link to,your store so,obviously if you do have products to,sell maybe one,or three products you can very easily do,that on the store page and it's not,going to look out of place you can fill,up the rest of the site with loads of,images maybe customer reviews,and some story about your brands or your,products and then we come to,a paid theme this is again still in,shopify but it's called startup,this basically is a super great one-page,site so i know a lot of businesses,online maybe you're selling courses,or a course like a digital product maybe,you're selling just,one thing maybe you're an inventor maybe,you have a product that you know you,made somewhere else and you're just,selling,one item this is what's called a one,page store literally you have a page,to sell the product that you're selling,and that is pretty much it,as you can see here massive hero image,at the top,but you can put in images videos blog,posts you can edit that,in the theme builder again if you don't,know how to do that i'll link some,tutorials below,i do think this one looks a little bit,better on web

hello and welcome to the out of the,sandbox video guide to the turbo Shopify,theme collection page and product page,today I'm going to talk to you about the,built-in theme settings associated with,the collection page which is what you,see here and with the product page which,is what you see here so if you are,looking for any assistance in,configuring your homepage for your turbo,theme there's already a video about that,too go check out that video first I'd,like to walk through what we already,have on the Shopify platform what we're,already working with Before we jump in,and take a look at the specific settings,so here we already have products on the,Shopify platform if you are looking for,any assistance on adding products to the,Shopify platform check out the Shopify,documentation as they can walk you,through how you can add a title a,description the product type vendor,collection tags all of these aspects to,your product we will be using all of,this data when it comes to the product,page but it's all configured right here,on the Shopify platform itself so if you,needed any assistance in how to operate,this interface check out the Shopify,documentation now I am going to jump in,a little bit later on and show you how,you can use the HTML editor to use some,built in components of the theme to,enhance the layout of your product,description and so we'll jump into that,a little bit later on but I just wanted,to show you that we already have a whole,slew of products on the platform with,various attributes those products have,also been categorized into a number of,collections so these collections are,collections that we'll be using,throughout the shop some of them were,used for features on the home page but,here you see a conventional collection,that has products in it it has a,description and it has a collection,image so we already have these things on,the platform alright let's jump over to,the actual customized theme settings and,see what settings we have available with,the turbo theme so here we are on the,themes panel and I'll use this,customized theme button to jump in here,we have the settings along the right and,we have the preview on the left we're,going to jump in to see the product page,settings first and I guess if we're,going to look at the product page,settings we should probably jump into a,product page so I have some products,already set up here in my navigation set,up let's take a look at the strap,product alright so here we have a fully,featured product let's go down through,the settings and that will sort of,highlight what each of these sections,are on the product page so starting in,the top left corner we have the,breadcrumb links so this is sort of a,path that was used to navigate to the,product so you can navigate backwards,through that path if you'd like to,access the collection through which the,product was accessed,so that whole feature can be enabled and,disabled these next few settings show,tags show type and show collections

your product and it's also what they use to ,navigate to that important checkout page so in
this video i'll go over the exact store design ,layout and design essentials you need to know
about with examples so you're able to skyrocket ,your shopify sales so the best way to show
you the must-have shopify design essentials ,to implement in your own store is to just simply
show you on screen so the first store we'll deep ,dive into is a store called aloe yoga so getting

seller alerts so really simple and clean store ,it's a large product catalog so it needs to be as
clean as possible simply because there's so much ,display here but i want to show you what they do
so well if you look at their product catalog right ,here which is just the yoga mat you can see that
there's a consistency with their product imagery ,so they don't have you know like um like a
whole load of different product shots but it's ,all the same product shot but just
with different variations in color ,so this is something to be really wary of if
you have multiples of products or if you have ,variants or you have a large product catalog it's
really important that you display these items ,as clean as possible and this can be achieved
really simply through product imagery and if we ,jump into one of these products as an example
the product page is even better in my opinion ,so you don't see any product description on the
side here right you just see the product imagery ,the name the price the variations and simply add
to bag but if you do need more information about ,the product like most of us do we're likely
going to scroll down below above the fold ,so this is where you get the description the
fit etc etc but this is a really really nice ,and clean setup of the product page and what i
really like about this store as well is that they ,include videos within their product images so you
know this is not a requirement but as you grow i ,think this is something that most stores should
look into and it's really easy to implement on ,y

hey guys in this one i've got five free,shopify themes for you that you can use,with your store,i've had experience using pretty much,all of these switching between them and,knowing what is right so i've split them,up really into two main categories,one is for stores with a lot of products,so if you have a lot to sell,you might want to go with these type of,themes the second type is,themes that do really well if you're a,small store if you have maybe one,product or,three or four products maybe you make,items to order,those type of themes will be really good,for you so i've got two types here,i'm going to go through all of them and,all the benefits and disadvantages of,each,so the first one is brooklyn and i would,say this is kind of a mix between the,two so if you're a big store or a small,merchant,you might be good with brooklyn they,actually say themselves that brooklyn is,really good,for apparel stores and yeah i definitely,get that if you sell a few items,t-shirts things like that brooklyn is a,good fit,what i really love about this theme is,the massive hero image,at the top i just think it's such a,great thing to have this it really draws,people in straight away,you can also link to a really important,product page or,some sort of other page that you want,people to go to right from that hero,image,it doesn't actually have to be your,store could be maybe a blog post or,something a little bit extra to tell,people about the brand but it's so good,it's a call to action right there at the,top you can also have a carousel at the,top so not just one hero image but maybe,two or three,so again if you're in a power store,maybe you have men's women's kids,something like that,you can have a hero image for each of,those and then,link each of those separately with the,link in there,what's really great below straight on,the homepage as well is that you have,this,featured collections section now when,you're editing the themes you can take,this away if you want but i think it's,great,especially if you have different,categories of products you can put them,all there and people can go straight in,and get what they want what i also like,about this design is,if people are on web what they can do is,scroll down and the images change,but it keeps the buy button right there,so it's just nice to have it right there,so people know exactly what to do when,they're on the site,also you can see up here this hamburger,menu as it's called,really easy to add your own categories,here maybe some other pages and about us,page or something like that,even a sales page so if you have,collections,if you use shopify you'll know about,collections that you can actually,basically automate collections so you,can maybe have a sales collection that,can be linked right there in the,hamburger menu,overall it's a very solid theme i know a,lot of people use this one and before we,get into the next one,if you're liking the video please give,it a thumbs up also i'll put some more,tutorials more
