in today's video i'm going to show you,how you can make one of the best online,stores out there with ecommerce themes,that are a designed to be fast and also,high converting so,shopify has rolled out five new free,themes and 65 updated paid themes that,work with online store 2.0 features,literally so exciting so i'm going to,take you guys through some incredible,shopify themes so that you guys can,decide which one is right for your,business in 2022. each one of these,offers industry leading performance and,deep customization but can we just get a,little sneak peek here okay let's look,at some of these amazing themes so first,of all look at this one this one's,called context and i just feel like it,would be perfect for someone who is,starting like a clothing store but maybe,wants a bit more of an editorial vibe,and then this one over here look at this,one this one's called loft and i feel,like it would be so good for anyone,selling home goods so that's just a,little preview but definitely stick,around till the end of this video,because i'm going to go through a ton of,themes and just discuss the specifics on,who they're good for and how they can,work for you and your business,okay guys so what exactly is a theme so,if you think about it themes are kind of,like the skeleton of your online store,it's just going to define what your,store is going to look like so for,example,in this theme over here,this has one main image for the banner,but if you look at this one it's going,to allow you to put two images for the,banner and a theme is also going to,define some of the functionality of your,store so for example when i click the,cart on this theme it pops up as a,sidebar and then when i click the cart,on this theme it's just going to take up,the whole page,so if you guys don't already know when,you create your online store with,shopify you can choose between either,free themes or premium themes and it's,really nice because there are more and,more free themes that are being released,recently so there's tons of options,there and then as of now there's also 60,paid themes and you can find a theme,that works really easily for yourself,because you can narrow it down by,industry price and then just basically,find the design that you're after okay i,know you guys are wondering are shopify,themes better than other themes out,there and i just want to say really,quickly just want to say this from the,jump shopify themes,are,amazing they're amazing first of all if,you are not tech savvy shopify themes,were going to be perfect for you because,all of the features that you need,already come built into your theme,you're probably,never going to need to hire developer,because 99 if not 100 of what you need,already comes built into your theme,but but if you are a perfectionist like,me and let's say you do want to do like,a little tweaks and like edit,you can edit your store without touching,any code so let's just look at my screen,here for one sec because i actually do,th

in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's newest free theme refresh into,a simple easy to set up one product,Dropship store,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products Drop,Shipping Shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,first things first we need to install,refresh to do that click online store,themes,and then scroll down to the bottom where,it says explore free themes,chocolate,select refresh,and click add to theme Library,once it's finished installing click,customize,the first thing we're going to do is,adjust the colors so click on theme,settings,colors,and follow along with me,just a quick note with these gradients,I'm choosing colors that match my,product I chose the orangey gradient,because of the color on the sleeves and,the purple because of the product photos,but feel free to choose a different,gradient that better matches your,product,oh,thank you,foreign,go ahead and save your work I know this,looks a little strange right now but we,will adjust everything when we work on,the sections by the way if you guys want,a cheat sheet with screenshots of my,settings colors the text I used as well,as the AliExpress link to the product I,feature in this theme join our private,Facebook group I'll be posting it there,you can find the link in our description,box,all right up next we are going to adjust,the checkout colors so from the drop,down select checkout,click theme settings,checkout,the first thing I'm going to do is,Select my logo you can't see it right,now because it's white but as soon as we,change the background color you will,next I'm going to change the background,color,change the form fields from white to,transparent,change this background color,the accent color,and the button color,save your work and head back to the home,page,for the home page I won't add any text,here yet all we're going to do right now,is set up the sections starting at the,top with the announcement bar I decided,to go with the other greeting I set up,so I'm going to select accent 2.,next I'm going to click on header,I'm going to change the color scheme to,background one,select my logo,and increase the width to 250 PX,then Under menu I'm going to remove the,menu this is a one product store so we,don't need any Links at the top,last but not least deselect enable,sticky header no need to have the Top,Bar following us around since we don't,have any menu links,moving on to the slideshow I'm going to,remove the third slideshow block because,I only need two,next change the desktop content position,to Middle right I won't be uploading the,slideshow image just yet but the image,size I used was 1920x620,by default I have a featured collection,section here which I'm going to delete,your sections might look a little,different than mine but not to worry,keep following along and I'll show you,which ones to keep,what I want here instead is a featu

Globe again in today's video we're going,to speak about Shopify CLI 3.6 3.2,whatever you want to call it and before,we get started I just want you to know,that I have tried it I have give it a,shot and it's really awesome and you,will see we will get to all the features,in a second so bear with me and you will,also need to know that the old version,will no longer be supported until uh,like I think it's 31st May of next year,and usually some people still use 10K,because well some Futures teamkit has,some advantage over the old CLI version,especially for team development but now,with 3.x it's really you will see that I,think everyone will make great to 3.6,once once I show these Futures so yeah,I'm really really excited because you,will see all the features in this in a,second,but before we get started with the code,you will actually need to migrate to the,newest version,and to migrate they have if you click,Shopify CRI in the documentation they,have a really easy migration guide and,especially if you are on Mac since,Michael you have to do if you have,installed it with Homebrew all you have,to do is really click home brew upgrade,Shopify CLI if you have never installed,Shopify CLI in the first place all you,have to do is just Brew I think add,Shopify CLI and it will go to it will,install the latest version which is,um which is 3.22 for me so yeah,if you are on other uh machines like,Linux or revi or,excuse me or Windows you probably have,installed it with Gem and if you have to,if you had installed it with gem you,need to uninstall the old implementation,and install the new the new,implementation using uh using npm or,yarn or pnpm whatever you like since,it's now hosted on npm because it's a,typescript package it's a node package,and it's no longer a ruby package since,the newest version is actually,built using a typescript the old version,is using Ruby the newest version if you,if we check the GitHub you will see it's,Rewritten in typescript it's not fully,Rewritten in typescript it's actually a,wrapper especially for the teams part,it's a wrapper over the typescript,implementation over the old Rabbi,implementation sorry so yeah,uh now all you have to do is just click,here on global ads at Shopify and it,will add Shopify you will need to,install the core package which is,shopify.cr day and then install the,plugin yeah it's a plugin uh you will,see how the Shopify team commands all,are a plugin it's actually a plugin that,is added to the core CLI to support,Shopify team Commons so now if I,actually once you do that you will have,the latest version,and once you do that,um you can also still use the old,version of the Shopify CLI uh but you,will have to call it to change the pads,especially if you are if you have,installed it with Homebrew you will have,to change the naming using the pads like,like we do if you are if you're ever,used python for example we have python 2,and python for python 3. that's that's,reminds me of that,um the old implementat

theme so now we can click on customize,here,and that will take us inside of the,Shopify editor where we can customize,everything about our store,so here in the center we can basically,see a preview of what our website,currently looks like right now we are on,the home page as we can see here at the,top we can also switch to a product page,if you want to look at how our product,page currently looks like just like this,and then we can also switch from,different devices so right now we are on,the desktop version we can also switch,right here at the top to the mobile,version and see exactly how our store,Page looks like on a mobile phone which,is very important because most people,nowadays are actually shopping on their,mobile phone as opposed to their,computer so we can now switch back to,the home page right here,and then let's go back to the desktop,view and then here on the left side you,can see an overview of all the sections,that are currently on that specific page,it always starts with the header here at,the top which includes the logo that,we're going to add later on and also the,menu and then all the way on the bottom,we have the footer and then in the,middle between the header and the footer,we have the different content sections,so every theme on Shopify comes with a,pre-made set of sections that you can,then customize so here it starts with,the rich text section right here then it,goes to the slideshow then we have,another Rich Text section then we have a,feature collection which you can see,already has a couple of our products on,it and then whenever you want to,customize any of these sections all you,have to do with is either click here on,the left side or click directly onto the,screen and then on the right side or,depending on your screen size it also,opens up here on the left you can make,all the changes so what I would,recommend whenever building your site is,just click on every single section and,then just go from top to bottom through,each of the menu items and see what you,can do so here for example we can change,the location of this text to the left,side or we can put it back to the center,when we click on the text we can also,just change the text right here on the,right side so as you can see it's very,easy to do now whenever you want to,switch sections around you can do that,here on the left side so let's say you,want to have this Rich Text section,below this slideshow section here all we,got to do is grab this section and then,drag it down below the slideshow section,and then here in the middle as you can,see you can see a macro overview of the,page,and just like that when we let it go we,can see it now switched so we have the,rich text section below the slideshow so,let's just put it back like this and,then usually you're not going to use,every single section that comes with the,with the pre-made set of sections with,your theme so what you can do is just,delete the sections that you don't want,so let's say we don't want this R

hello everyone christian here and today,we're designing a clothing store from,scratch and we'll be using shopify's,newest theme,dawn you know the one with all the fancy,new juicy features from os 2.0,yeah let's get,started now if you didn't know dawn is,the first free os 2.0 theme released by,stopper5 now if you really don't know,online store 2.0,it's the future i made a video about,this so you can check it out right here,dawn is a flexible theme that includes,an adaptable layout site-wide,cross-selling sections and media,optimized product pages with this new,theme you can add sections to every,single,page which is pretty awesome,now in this video we're going to go over,the home page so we're going to design,the home page from scratch for a new,boutique called shibby's boutique,completely fictional but yeah,step number one install the theme,so now that we're here in our totally,nineties kid shop what we're gonna do,we're gonna use totally nine it's good,but we're gonna still make shippies,inside of toilet 90s kid just for the,purpose of um convenience,we're gonna go to online store,under themes,we already have it installed already but,we're gonna go through the process so,you know we're gonna click on explore,free themes,and then should be probably one of the,first ones so you'll see dawn it's free,and it's from os 2.0 so that means they,have some of the newest and greatest,features that shopify has released now,you'll see like some of these old other,ones don't have the os 2.0,um,badge so you want to make sure that you,get that one,that's the one that we're going to be,designing on,and moving forward and i would i highly,recommend to start using some of these,os 2.0 themes and if you have an older,one that you paid for you might want to,check with,the back end of your website because you,might have the opportunity to upgrade to,the new os 2.0 so everyone's going to be,upgrading these and i believe by the end,of this year,everyone should have os 2.0,themes on their store,we click on try theme,and this will automatically download the,theme to our store,that way we can manipulate it and start,using it,you can have a bunch of different themes,installed,on your actual,backend and dashboard and that's what,we're doing so right now we have this,live theme which act it's actually,totally nice kid but what we're gonna do,is we have this theme live library down,here and these are all the themes that,we have installed right here on on this,totally united skit website and what you,can do is you can customize these themes,and you can make them your own and once,you're ready to publish that then you go,to actions and then you publish and that,will bring this particular theme all the,way to the top and put this one right,here down here at the theme library so,just keep that in mind when you're,creating new websites,all right so since that one's still,installing i'm gonna go and manipulate,this one oh never mind it just added so,we're gonna actually click on cu
