hey fellow deadpaners how would you like,to start your own software company for,very,little money i'm talking less than a,hundred dollars in this video i'm going,to show you,exactly how to do just that hey my name,is adam dukes and i help dads escape,employment by building a wildly,profitable online business so that they,can enjoy,more dad time now software is all the,rage it's been all the rage it is a,great business to get into but a lot of,people are concerned,uh it cost a lot of money it cost a lot,of time to find developers and yes that,is all very very true,however you're able to white label,software there are hundreds if not,thousands of pieces of software out,there that the developers and or,creators,will allow you to white label their,software and in this video i'm going to,show you,uh explain what white label software is,i'm going to reveal a couple of pieces,of software that you can get started,white labeling right now,i'll share a tool that i used a very,popular email platform that not many,are aware of that you can actually white,label and it's actually a leader in the,industry,i did it years ago and i'm going to,share a couple of tips to help increase,you get more customers so let's dive,right in how to start your own software,company for less than a hundred dollars,so white label like i said it's a,software that a company uses,and brands as its own software so,another company out there will allow,white labels to pay typically they will,charge a monthly fee some of it's a,yearly fee,some of it they do have an initial setup,fee each company is different but what,they'll,let you do is sell their software and,you can brand it as your own so it looks,like,you developed the software you created,the software it's completely,your own software in a way you know in a,sense you're kind of,renting it and or licensing it from the,company and you can sell it and put it,at,typically you can put it at whatever,price tag you want what i like to do is,bundle things together to make it a,higher perceived value,and make it a much better offer than,just the software itself why do this,it's a win-win so the developer and or,the creator of the software,they get more customers for their,software you're as a reseller,you are a customer of theirs and the,reseller yourself you're offering a,software without having to spend time or,money on development,the reseller gets to market a market a,proven,tool obviously typically how it's set up,is each user that you generate let's say,the software company charges you ten,dollars a license per month as an,example,and you would charge your customer,twenty dollars so you would keep that,ten dollars that's kind of the gist of,it,and you could charge obviously whatever,you want but you can play with that a,little bit but like i said i like to,increase it so years ago i,white labeled active campaign it's one,of the best email platforms out there,and i created a membership,website for real estate agents and i,white labeled
all right guys so in this video i'm,going to be showing you how you can go,ahead and,customize your debut theme within,shopify so debut theme,is the theme that all shopify stores,start out with,by default when you go ahead and start a,shopify store and if you haven't already,opened your shopify store yet you can,start your 14 day free trial by clicking,the first link in the description,so i figured i'd make this video because,debut theme,is one of the most commonly used themes,because it's the one that all stores,start out with and the view theme,actually looks,really good so right here we can see,that this is what debut theme looks like,when it's first installed with,absolutely nothing filled out,so we can see that we have where our,logo should be,we have a big header right here with,some text we have an image here,we have three images with text below,here we have,a uh empty collection and we have,another,um header type image right here another,wallpaper image,we have some testimonials and we have,three images down here,and then we have the footer so,right now we have a nice little template,but it's blank,so if you're looking to go ahead and,fill out,your um store using debut theme,the first thing you're going to want to,make sure you have is,a few key things so i'm going to bring,up a notepad and just make sure,because before you go ahead and start,the design process you're going to need,a couple things so the first one is,going to be a logo,so i assume you already have a logo at,this point if you're ready to start your,store design but if not,then make sure you get a logo first,because everything else is going to be,based around the logo,and then we're going to have a color,scheme selected,and normally this color scheme is going,to,be derived from colors from your logo,and typically,you're going to use one to two colors,to base your entire store around and,like i said these colors will be derived,from the logo and the next thing we're,going to need,is a couple wallpaper photos,so we can see we're going to need some,photos to go ahead and put back here in,this header,we need some photos to put back here and,this header as well,so if you have any large photos related,to your business,go ahead and upload them to your,computer or,put them all in one folder so we can go,ahead and,use them as backgrounds here and if you,don't you can use,different sites such as pixabay,to find free stock images that you can,go ahead and use,so let's just type in something like,fishing,so if you had a store related to fishing,you could go ahead and just,look for different stock photos here,or maybe you have something related to,yoga,or fitness you can type in a lot,of different niches depending on what,your store is based around,and you can use some of these wallpapers,to go ahead and put back here,now obviously i do think it's better if,you have your own,custom photos but uh you know not,everyone's gonna have that starting out,so if you don't you can go ahead and us

in today's video we are turning,shopify's free theme origin into a,Christmas one product store theme before,we get into the video if you like videos,about winning products Drop Shipping,Shopify themes apps and tutorials do us,a favor and hit that subscribe button,and turn notifications on now let's get,into the video If you haven't seen a,theme origin yet it's one of shopify's,newest free theme it's a one product,store setup I did a video on it as well,as the second free theme that Shopify,released at the same time so if you want,to see that watch this video but to get,started start by installing the theme,origin,foreign,thank you,once origin has been installed click,customize,then click the paintbrush icon,and click colors,now follow along with me,foreign,thank you,for the gradient you can select any one,of these that has two colors because,we're going to change the colors anyway,foreign,foreign,foreign,next we're going to move on to the,checkout so from the drop down select,checkout,then scroll down here on the left hand,side until you see checkout,click it,and scroll down more so you can see your,options,first I'm going to upload my logo,then for the main content area,background I've created two gradient,backgrounds that you can upload and use,you can choose red or green both of,these are included in theme files which,you can find a link to in our,description box as for the colors follow,along with me,thank you,foreign,now let's head back to the home page to,set up our sections,foreign,at the top I decided to turn the,announcement bar off but it's up to you,if you have a sale going on or have an,important notice feel free to utilize,this for the header upload your logo,and set it as 200px,there's an option to add a menu here but,because this is a one product store I'm,not going to add that in I want to give,the visitor all the information they,need in order to make a purchase on this,one page,next we have Rich Text for the text add,something that will hook your visitor,and make them want to stay don't add,your store name here or anything like,happy holidays or whatever it may be,this is a lot of space and it's the,first thing a person will see when they,come to your store so make it work for,you next I'm going to add a text block,underneath and add this text,next we have our featured product you,can choose a product by clicking here,and then set the color scheme as inverse,normally it would pull the description,from your product listing but in origin,they actually have their own custom,description here just type something,brief because we're going to add in more,information below it in a second next,scroll down,and click add section,then select multi-column,drag that right up below the featured,product,erase the heading,set the image width as 1 3 width of the,column,set the number of columns on desktop to,4.,column alignment as Center,set the secondary background as none,erase the button label,set the color scheme as inverse,and set the number
