hey it's klaus here with another video,this time i'm doing a review of a,shopify,theme called warehouse so let's dive,right into it,so here we are in the shopify theme,section and this is basically the,product page for the warehouse,theme it's not a free theme it's 180 us,dollars so it's somewhere in the,mid-range of prices for,themes and comes with three different,styles,i approached the company baestro and,they gave me a license for my shopify,partner demo store,and that's where we're going to into the,store i want to start,um with the demo that they show on,shopify itself so if we're going in here,you see it looks very clean a lot of,things that i like,in regards of conversion optimized,themes,they have a notification bar here i'm,not a big fan,of the subscribe and save up here,clear navigation bar very slick very,slim not taking much space here,so that's all well done um obviously as,you know from other,review videos that i'm doing i'm a big,fan of search,bar search boxes up here and some also,the card is very nice and then,a very clear menu here and you see they,actually have included a mega menu,down here um on this demo page of the,theme you see there's a slideshow not,the biggest fan of that,and then all the other bits and pieces,that you would,expect on a home page now,as you can't see what's basically,working in the background,that's the reason why i have installed,the theme on my demo store,we're going to dive into that now so on,the demo,dimmer store you see here this is,basically the naked,theme um that you get i did a little few,changes here already for instance i,changed up here,a little bit of the text um added a,phone number support email,and took out this subscriber box up here,so i did a little few things there but i,really want to go,and show you what's working in the,background because,that makes a huge difference when you,buy a theme,how much of a developer do you,need to be or how much of a external,developer,do you need to hire to get a theme,right for your business and conversion,optimized and,the good news is that the warehouse,theme has a,lot of options in the background let me,just move this over here,and so for instance,you can customize the home page product,page collection page and so on so forth,so that's not much different of what you,would expect from,a normal theme um let's go quickly in a,few things for the home page so,obviously up here we have the,notification by the announcement bar,which they call it here,and there's a lot of things that you,easily can change you can go in here and,then change the color of the,announcement bar,you see your changes immediately,obviously you can edit the text,you can decide where you want to have,the text,you can add a link to the text which,might help um this is the newsletter,sign up form again i'm not the biggest,fan of that so that's why i took it off,and so that's very easy to manage there,for the announcement bar,also nice thing is that pop-ups are,included,i'm not sure

hi my name is tim frederick owner and,developer of moza global mazdaglobal.com,specializing in holistic business,analysis,e-commerce,and web development as well as custom,copywriting and content creation,so we're discussing midwest dme supply,this was a very complex build out from,the start,what we first had to do was convert,everything and clean up a lot of data,from woocommerce as well as wordpress,and integrated into the shopify platform,and what we chose is this theme which is,the warehouse theme,and matching,the clients brand identity we match the,colors,um what we've also done is highlighted,the various different aspects of their,business including their in-store,offerings,retail,operation visiting the store as well as,items that can be shipped directly to,the customer,we also integrated a,local delivery and pickup feature,to make it really easy for the customer,to be able to pick up,items locally at the store,so we have here,the equipment,different equipment and then we also,have medical supplies,this is,all of our in-store products for this,for this website all the different,brands that this client carries,and just a little bit of information,about the client,so up here we have a mega menu under the,shop products which includes your,in-store shopping as well as,your,all medical supplies category,moving on we have a frequently asked,questions page,uh,how long does it take you know just the,basics for for what it takes definitely,needed for any ecommerce website,then we going to our about us page,shows the location of where the store is,a little bit of background about the,company,how to contact them,now i want to highlight a few different,things here,this theme did not natively have a back,to the top,so that was custom work that was done,a simple simple,little bit of liquid coding that was,done to do that,also um,shopify has no way of,um,with their native features,differentiating um,how there's no basically local,delivery,um,button for,for the client to check out,when the customer is checking out so,what we had to do is put in a little bit,of notification here for the customer to,use the ship,on,use the ship method in in local delivery,to get the local delivery,so and then also it's then again for,local delivery,use the ship method on checkout,um,that that was definitely necessary,because you have no access as a,developer,with shopify,to some of the more advanced features,without the client upgrading their plan,so with that said,also,there was just a lot of,different customization done mostly back,end mostly inventory stuff um,for instance,i will give you one other,aspect here of what what was done for,this client so,if we go to one of these,um scooters,for instance we're going to see,that this item is available for in-store,pickup or delivery only meaning this,item is not available to be shipped,directly to the customer,and then when you click on this white,glove delivery,it talks about how you can contact the,this client to,get,other del

I Turned a FREE Shopify Theme into a General Dropshipping Store!

in today's video we are turning,shopify's free theme refresh into a,general drop shipping store a big reason,why general stores lose conversions is,that customers coming from social media,such as tick tock can't find the product,that they saw in a video they get,overwhelmed by the disorganization and,the number of products they see and they,leave this redesign is going to take the,overwhelm out and drive conversions by,focusing on organizing and highlighting,the products they are looking for this,redesign is very intentional about the,customer experience on both desktop and,mobile,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video the,products are the star of the theme so,that is where we're going to start even,if you already have all of your products,added don't skip this part of the video,because what i show you now is a vital,part in how i set up the rest of the,store,for my products i have these lists that,i created for our channel all i have to,do is copy and paste the aliexpress link,to the import app it's really simple,if you want these lists as well click,the join button to become a channel,member you'll get access to all of our,past list and also get early access to,ones for future videos that haven't been,posted yet,when your products have been added we,need to organize them into categories,this is absolutely essential for how we,set up the rest of the theme and also,not having things organized could cost,you conversions,someone who sees the product on tick,tock for example is going to go to your,store and check the home page check your,categories and or use the search to find,the product they saw if it can't be,found you will lose that sale so it's,super important to keep things organized,so go through each one of your products,and under product organization select a,type for each one,shopify has already come up with all the,categories so all you need to do is,select the correct one,copy that text then what you're going to,do is go to collections,create a new collection,and paste it in the title,then set the collection type to,automated with the settings as product,type is equal to,and then paste that same title in the,box,if that doesn't work for you meaning no,products are appearing underneath the,category,go back to your product and paste that,same text under tags then go back to,your category and set it as product tag,is equal to and paste the text in the,box,i experienced this issue myself so i,created a test product to troubleshoot,and the product type setting worked when,i manually created the product so that,tells me it may have something to do,with the app and shopify not,communicating properly when the products,are imported the next thing you need to,do is go through and rename your product,titles and edit your descriptions and,variants,i know i know but if you
