this is going to be a video tutorial on,their theme mode,and it's going to cover all the sections,that allow you to use um auto playing or,press to play videos currently we have,four sections that support the ability,to have videos which you can,use mp4 files you can use,youtube or you can use vimeo and those,sections are as follow you have the,normal video section you have the,background video section which will play,the videos muted but will auto play when,people arrive,media with text is a section that you,can add either an image or a video and,you have the ability to have it auto,play or not,and so you can see here i've got two,added one is not auto playing and one is,auto playing and then here we have the,custom content section which is going to,be very good for people that want to,have a kind of gallery style,i'll show you how you can play around,with that but we're going to start off,with the first one here we're going to,go one by one and we're going to show,you the video section so the video,section as i said you can use youtube,mp4 file which you upload into the,shopify file section and then just copy,over that file link and put it in there,and then here you can have your text,which will display over the video and,then down here be sure to add a cover,image to your video section also it's,very good to note that video sections,are going to be very good for videos,that are kind of horizontal style videos,if you're using say videos that are say,square or kind of maybe a bit like,portrait very much advised to go with,the media with text section instead or,the custom content section because you,have the ability to control the um,styling uh like portrait or square so um,back to here cover image is very,important image alignment and layout,style of your text is there that pretty,much covers the video section now the,background video section i mentioned,already it is a auto playing video that,is played on mute there is no option to,have this play automatically with sound,because a lot of mobile browsers and a,lot of browsers auto block,videos that play with sound again very,important i would suggest add a,placeholder image because this actually,helps mask any of the loading from,youtube or vimeo or um mp4 files and and,just helps that mask that so just in,cases where people might have slow,internet instead of it having like a,black area it'll show the image and then,it'll start playing but here you can add,your text and so on so forth one thing,to note is very important,uh on mobile devices if a mobile device,is say in low power mode a lot of,devices will switch to low power mode if,they fall below 20 percent this low,power mode automatically tends to stop,auto playing videos so people will not,be able to see the video auto playing on,low power devices so that's just,something to keep note of um very,there's nothing we can do we can't,override,a,mobile devices setting so it's always,advised to add a placeholder image,instead to media with text

hi guys it's lata from template monster,and today i'm going to show you how to,install shopify themes,i've chosen pet shop template created by,zamasu,so first of all you will need to create,an account at shopify.com as shopify is,a self-hosted e-commerce platform i've,already created a free trial account but,you may go ahead and choose one of their,paid plans right away,let's check our theme package,please note that i've already extracted,the downloaded zip file and inside we,have screenshots folder,sources folder and our theme zip,which we need to upload in shopify admin,panel,navigate to online store themes,and,upload theme zip,in theme library section,add file,upload,while it is uploading i want to warn you,that you will not see the images right,after installation it is not a bug or a,theme issue,the reason is that in old,themes all images were assigned to their,locations in theme files and it was not,very comfortable to replace them there,now images can be changed directly in,customizer so you can simply add the,images to their locations after theme,installation,done our theme is uploaded now we can,publish,it you can also do this later and edit,the theme in preview,refresh,okay it is installed,let's upload some banner image to,illustrate how it works please go to,customizer,um i want to upload image to this banner,here it goes,uh select image,upload,sources images nah there was a sleeping,dock,shopify also offers three images,you can also choose the image there so,our image is uploaded select,save,change shape let's check,where is our image,i think that you've also mentioned that,catalog is not available after,installation and it is not the issue too,there is simply no option to install it,with a template right away,there are some authors add a file with,products catalog to sources folder and,you can import it in products section,here products menu,import,add file,and,choose products file,from sources folder,okay guys that's it for today i hope,that this video was useful for you and,if you are looking for ready-made,shopify themes to enhance your,productivity and workflow consider going,to tablet monster digital marketplace,thanks for watching bye,you

if you've recently purchased a shopify,theme from somewhere other than shopify,you likely received a zip file with your,purchase,in order to use your new shopify theme,you'll need to upload that zip file into,your shopify admin,so to do that head on over to online,store in the left-hand navigation,and by default you will be taken to the,themes page,as you can see here we're currently,using the debut theme,and this is a free shopify theme that,you can get through shopify,and if you scroll down the page just a,little down to the theme library area,you'll see that you have a few options,you can explore free themes which is,basically going through all of the free,themes that shopify has to offer,you can also visit the theme store where,you can browse through,free and paid shopify themes,and of course shopify isn't the only,place where you can buy shopify themes,i will certainly leave a few links in,the description below where you can find,other premium shopify themes,and as much as free themes are great you,know because they're free,they can be somewhat limited when it,comes to features and options,and that kind of thing a premium shopify,theme is going to give you more options,when it comes to things like features,designs and just,its overall capabilities as far as an,e-commerce theme goes,so let's say you've gone ahead and,purchased a theme and you've got that,zip file,head on over to the upload theme button,and then browse through your file,folders and upload that zip file,once you see the zip file go ahead and,click on upload file,and now your zip file has been uploaded,however that's not the last step you,need to now publish the theme so that it,shows up on your estore,to do that hover over and click on,actions,you can preview this new theme or you,can just publish it right away so let's,go ahead and preview just to see what it,looks like,and here we can see the new theme in,action,but let's head back to the shopify admin,and now that we see what it looks like,and we're happy with it we'll go ahead,and publish,and it will ask are you sure you want to,publish this new theme it will replace,your current theme,so let's go ahead and publish,and there you can see the new warehouse,theme has been installed,and published so if we head on back to,our store,and refresh the page we now see the new,theme,has been installed and it's ready to go,you

hello everyone this is ellen from ecom,simplified,today i'm going to show you how to,change the colors of the add to cart,button,and the buy now button color for a,shopify store,as you may know if you change these,button colors from the theme editor,it will change the colors of the whole,theme so today i will go,through quickly how to do it with um,through the theme editor that changes,the whole theme,or just the specifically on the product,page,itself or the product section itself so,we go to a shopify,backend and go look at a online store,we can look at the debut theme as an,example,so first of all if you wanted to,customize the button colors,you'd go to customize you go to the,theme editor,and then you can check out your product,and see the colors there you can go to,the product page,and you can see the same as well so to,change it through the theme editor you,would go,to the theme settings and then you will,go to,colors and in there you can change the,primary button colors,so if we try changing this to red it,will change all your themes buttons,such as the product here and the,subscribe button,and the checkout button and so forth,so if that's not what you're wanting and,you're just wanting to change,the colors of just the product page,itself,for many reasons such as you know making,a standout,point of difference then we can do this,by editing some code,so we go back out to the theme,page we'll go to actions,and then edit code,when the theme editor appears there's,one specific file that we want to look,for,and that file is called theme dot css,so this file um it can be a bit,confusing with the,amount of files in here um but if you go,down it's under the assets folder,that's this one called theme.css the,other way that you,can find this quite easily is type theme,and the file,direct3 and then just,open that up as it will only show the,files that has that,word in it so this theme.css file,is a file that kind of governs all of,your styling,and look of your website so what we want,to do is just go,straight down to the bottom we'll ignore,everything,in there and just go to the bottom maybe,make a few lines,extra and we'll add some code in so how,this file works,is that anything that you put at the,bottom,um it reads from top to bottom so the,bottom,is read last so it kind of replaces,whatever,styling you have um beforehand,so what we want to do is we'll add in,some code to replace the aftercard,button color,so we'll try that first so i've got some,code prepared,already to save time and to add to cut,part and color we'll test that first,so this is the color we want changed um,so this is,the attica button color add a comment,just so we remember what it's for,now we save this,and go to the front end and refresh this,you can see that now it has changed to,uh blue,with black font and red border so,you can also see that when on hover that,needs to be changed as well,to whatever matches your style so,it's very much the same code now we'll,add a few more l
