hi my name is Elle McCann from curious,themes web development studio in,Nashville Tennessee and in this video,tutorial I'm gonna walk you through how,to customize your theme with Shopify so,right now I'm in the Shopify back-end,area and whenever I hit the homepage,area I hit online store and then that,comes up with themes so I'm in the,themes area now and you can see right,now I have the free Shopify theme which,is debut in the previous video I went,through how to add in other themes,either free or paid and I'll put a link,below this video back to that video so,that you can kind of make sure that you,first found a theme that you want and I,also have in that video a free checklist,that'll let you go through and make sure,before you start adding themes to your,store that you found one that's going to,work really well for you and that way we,can move forward from there with,customizing it so you don't have to,repeat this process many times so in,this video we're going to go through,customizing the theme in the backend of,Shopify and I'm just gonna customize,this debut theme so the same kind of,settings are going to be different or,gonna be the same with no matter what,Shopify theme that you have some of the,functionality is going to be different,or stylizing however the process of,going about it it's going to be the same,so to edit this theme I'm just going to,hit customize and then this is the theme,customized area so you'll see over here,this will be the same for every theme,you'll have a sections area which lets,you control the different areas of the,site and then you have a general,settings area and this is more of your,general site wide edit like colors,typography actually putting in your,social media links so you can click into,each of these individual ones so let's,click in the social media so for example,you would put in your social media links,of where you want that to be published,and that'll show up a social media icon,once you put that in there so this will,most likely I think show up at the,bottom,site so now that we put that in you can,see this Instagram icon so if we put in,Pinterest now you can see it live update,on the right hand side so now the,Pinterest icons showing up so as you go,in and start filling out this area it'll,anything under the general settings will,edit a site-wide so let's go back here,under general settings so again like any,typography that you choose or colors,will be site wide edits so that way you,don't have to make it for each,individual page so let's go back to the,main sections area and we'll start out,with the header area which is up here so,we'll click header and this will be site,wide as well so for the logo we're going,to upload our image of the logo so I'm,just gonna select it here and hit open,and this theme actually lets you choose,if you want it to be left or centered so,again as soon as you're making these,edits it's nice because you can see it,actually happening on the right hand,side so now that I

over half of online orders are actually,made,on mobile devices however so many stores,are not properly optimized for consumers,that are shopping on their mobile phones,so in this video i'm going to be going,over exactly how to optimize,your site for mobile devices,it is so important that your site looks,good on mobile devices,because think about it if people are on,their phone and they're looking at your,site,and your images don't look good or,things aren't sizing correctly,they're not going to purchase from you,they're just going to leave because it's,just going to be frustrating for them,and you're losing out on potential sales,so you really want to make sure that you,know exactly how your site looks on,mobile devices,and that's optimized correctly so i'm,going to go over a few different tips,now for,how to make sure that your site looks,good on mobile phones,first off you just want to make sure,you're actually looking at it,and you know exactly what your site,looks like so,some shopify themes have really great,mobile friendly designs and others are,not as good,you want to make sure that you know,exactly how your site looks on,mobile whenever you're picking out a,shopify theme,and look and see exactly how it's,optimized for mobile,so some shopify themes actually let you,add in a,separate mobile friendly image for,mobile devices so for example your home,page slideshow image,a lot of times they're very horizontal,and on mobile that doesn't look good,either you're losing detail in the photo,or,it's getting cropped off somewhere or,any text that you have in the photo just,doesn't show up at all however some,themes will actually let you,upload a separate image for mobile,devices so then you can crop it,to be a little bit more specific and,make it more square so it really,highlights the image better,again not all themes have that,capability so you want to make sure that,you know exactly what the,mobile capabilities are when you're,looking for a shopify theme,my next tip would be to take full,advantage of shoppable images,and post on social media so we've done a,couple different videos on this channel,already,about how to do shoppable posts for,facebook and,instagram and pinterest but what this,lets you do,is add in an image to instagram for,example,and tag your products in the image so,that way if they like the image,and they're interested in your products,they can just really easily click on,the tagged product and then shop it on,your site,it makes it really helpful because a lot,of us are actually using our phones for,social media,so we're already using this,functionality and then we can easily,click,over and purchase on your site now i'm,not going to go over in this video how,to set these up because we do already,have separate tutorials for these,so i will put a link to the different,tutorials for how to set this up for,facebook instagram and pinterest,in the description below as well as the,info cards above,my next tip is in regards to voice,sear

on se tait des 5 c'est un petit peu le,résumé de tout ce qu'on a vu d'un cd 1 2,3 4 1 avec quelques petits trucs en plus,donc on se connecte au back office vous,avez l'habitude maintenant,ensuite bon un petit exercice pour la,création de produits mais là bon c'est,toujours la même chose dont vous pouvez,revoir l'été des précédents il faut,surtout prendre soin de bien renseigner,tous les champs de la fiche produit pour,l'exercice je vous rappel c'est toujours,bien de mettre un chiffre avant,renseigner tous les champs ça veut dire,surtout renseigné récapitulatif et,descriptions 1 qui vont permettre un bon,et puis après on peut rajouter une image,et sûr il faut important de mettre la,quantité puisque c'est pas de quantité,on pourra pas commander des petits,éléments sur la livraison également,compris parce qu'on produit un bris et,puis si au niveau du référencement seo,donc il va permettre de bien être,référencé sur les moteurs de recherche,ce sont des éléments que google va va,utiliser pour référencer le site et,l'article voilà donc des éléments qui,correspondent bien sur vos produits et,ensuite on crée la catégorie qui va,recevoir ce produit s'il n'existe pas,déjà bien entendu d'un exercice il,fallait la créer,donc la création de la catégorie,matériel d'escaladé ont créé la,catégorie,et comme c'est dans la catégorie,accueille le produit sera aussi sur la,catégorie d'accueil à n'oubliant pas,bien sûr de le mettre en ligne,ensuite si on veut que cette catégorie,apparaissent dans le menu eh bien on va,aller sur le menu donc c'est un module 1,on a déjà vu dans l'été des précédents,modules installés je cherche le menu,et puis je vais configurer le menu à en,me tendant la colonne de gauche et bien,eu là cette nouvelle catégorie qui vient,d'être créé et qui s'appelait matériel,escalade ont donc je descend jusqu'à la,catégorie jeux la seleccion bien là mais,de l'autre côté,on n'oublie pas d'enregistrer et puis on,va aller vérifier sur le front office si,cette catégorie a été rajoutée au menu,ce qui est le cas ici avec matériel,escalade,voilà pour la première question ensuite,les mentions légales et quelque chose,qu'on n'avait pas encore vu un bel essai,dans apparence et dans pages,ce sont les pages statiques c'est un,petit peu la même chose que sur,wordpress en fait ce sont des pages,statiques c'est toujours la même chose,notamment les mentions légales et là on,va et bien mettre à jour ces mentions,légales vous pouvez rajouter tous les,éléments que vous connaissez ce sont les,mêmes que wordpress avec un petit peu,plus d'éléments puisque c'est un site de,vente et de e-commerce 1 mais là vous,pouvez vous conférer aux cours pour les,mentions légales sur les sites de,e-commerce voilà donc ces apparences,page,si on veut les afficher dans le menu et,bien on peut aussi aller sur le menu,donc on refait la même manipulation,quand tout à l'heure et puis on va,intégrer cette page dans le menu général,donc cette page mentions légales en la,joute,on enregistre et puis
