Two New FREE Shopify themes! Studio & Taste with a full demo

two new free shopify themes just dropped,they're so good i can't wait to show,them to you if we haven't met i'm,shelley of launch party in e-commerce,design studio and shop school an online,course designed to teach you how to go,from zero to launch with your own,shopify store i feel like shopify has,been on such a roll lately starting with,their online store 2.0 reveal which was,in the summer of 2021 and they've been,slowly rolling out the features of that,and i've just been so excited by these,features because it's making my life,easier as a shopify designer there's a,lot of features to highlight with online,store 2.0 there's so many different,components of it but the biggest one for,me overall is being able to put sections,on other pages if you're familiar with,shopify you're probably familiar with,the sections on the home page,now you can put those sections on any,page of your site including your product,template your collection template about,page faq page contact etc the list goes,on that used to be something you could,do with your paid theme and maybe a,little development knowledge but now,it's something just right in the,customizer so it's super accessible if,you're looking for a new theme right now,you need to make sure that it is online,store 2.0 and you can see that in the,shopify theme store for this video i'm,going to highlight the new two themes,from shopify and they are completely,free they're called studio and taste,let's take a look at both of them and,then i'm going to do a demo on the,studio theme so you can see just how,much we can customize it and make it our,own,i'm at,themes.shopify.com to check out the new,studio theme as you can see it looks,really beautiful it's designed for,artists so that's the industry starting,point it does not mean you have to be an,artist to use this theme it's really,just showing you this in the demo store,it's also giving you sections that are,geared towards that purpose like this,shop by artist section you see here so,when you install this theme you will,have that section on your home page,which you could decide to use or you,could change it for your own purpose or,you could just remove it entirely here's,taste and this is designed for food and,beverage same thing you don't have to be,in that industry to use this theme it's,just your starting point so this theme,looks really modern and high contrast,with the black and white the sharp,corners you can change all of that,you're going to have the same,functionality with any of these free,shopify themes right now so it's really,just about choosing the starting point,that you want to work from,and here on the product template you can,see a section that's added the,frequently asked questions which looks,really nice there and again you can keep,it or change it,now i'm going to add studio to my,partner account in my shopify,development store so you can see exactly,what it looks like after you install,this new free theme it's installing in,the theme librar

Shopify Just Released 2 NEW FREE O.S 2.0 Themes! (Studio & Taste)

shopify has released two new free online,store 2.0 themes and in today's video we,are going to take a look at them,together,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video,alright so the first theme is taste,let's take a look,now,so,taste has a very simple design but i see,a lot of potential with this theme,immediately you are either going to love,or hate the font but remember shopify,has made it really easy for anyone at,any skill level to change these things,so if you dislike the font or the lack,of color don't let it prevent you from,giving the theme a try whenever i'm,looking at a theme i tend to look at the,structure and the way that things are,set up if i like the bones of it i go,for it because fonts and colors can be,easily changed they've made the products,the star of this theme which i like,because ultimately that is the goal to,sell product so if the way that this,theme is set up would be well suited for,your product i definitely encourage you,to give it a try,the next theme is studio let's take a,look,i really like that shopify is creating,these different types of themes i don't,know that i've ever seen one made,specifically for artists before if you,are in the drop shipping category i,think this theme would be really great,for print on demand stores i like the,visual interest this theme has there are,pops of color throughout the theme and,the image with text areas are really,nicely designed i especially like the,way that this theme looks on your phone,you'll notice that the home page,slideshow has a decent amount of height,and width to it which is really nice to,see because normally when you see a,slideshow on mobile it's downsized so,much that it loses its impact so i like,the way that this one is designed,because this theme has a main accent,color it would make it really easy for,you to just swap out that blue color for,a color that you have in your logo to,make this theme look like it was custom,designed just for you,so,really exciting to see shopify come out,with more and more 2.0 themes let me,know in the comments what your thoughts,are on taste and studio did you like,them hate them out of the two which one,was your favorite,if you like this video and want to see,more content like this you can let me,know by giving this video a thumbs up or,leave me a comment down below and if you,haven't already make sure to subscribe,we post a lot of time sensitive content,such as winning products and updates,that affect you so turning on,notifications for this channel will let,you know as soon as we upload

[Taste Theme - Shopify] How To Show Selected Variant Images in Product Page

hi guys welcome back to another Shopify tutorial I'm your host Bilal Naseer with another tutorial ,video and in today's video we are learning how to customize the Shopify Taste theme product page so ,in this Shopify taste team when we have lots of featured uh images a lot of variant images ,when we have multiple variant images the issue is that it shows up all the images at once and ,it does not filter out when you click on the specific variant so after implementing ,this tutorial your product page will look like this so after clicking on any of the variants ,it will only show that specific variant image so that's what we are learning in this tutorial if ,you are interested to learn stick to the end of the video do not forget to like the video ,subscribe my channel and comment on the video below let's jump into the tutorial,so, guys, that's how the original taste theme product page looks like so when we refresh ,as you can see we have all of the images showing up, and when we click on any of the variants ,it just sorts the image and shows up the one on the main featured image but it doesn't hide ,the other color which we have shown up so the pages kind of look messy and show all ,of the images after implementing this tutorial you'll be able to see specific variant images ,okay now let's go to the back end and add in a new product so I can show you guys ,let's go to the backend by navigating to slash admin,and then click on products,and then add product,we will be adding our product by the name of a new t-shirt,and add in images so I already have downloaded some of the images ,where we have black images three images for black three images for white and three images for red,okay so the images are being uploaded let's add in the pricing,scroll down so this is the option which we need to check mark to add in the variations ,so we will add the color variations we have black white and red,co we have added our options okay after adding them click on done here and our ,variations have been added now after up after the images are being uploaded ,you need to add in the alt tags for each of the images so click on every single image,and once you click on that image add in the alt text for example this image for the black ,variation so just add in black hit save alt text and do the same for all of the images,make sure you don't do any spelling mistakes otherwise, our process won't work and you won't ,be able to see the image sorting up properly so I'm adding all the alt text for the images,okay red save make sure to hit save alt text after adding those,okay last three images left white,white,white and,we have the last one left white,okay our all images have been updated now take a look at the product how it looks like ,make the product active it's safe,okay so that's how our products look like and,okay as you can see,selecting variants is not changing the product images so what we're gonna do we'll ,add so

[Taste Theme] How To Show Discount on Product Page - Percentage Discount Badge

hello hello welcome to Websense Pro I'm,your host Bilal Nasir with another,Shopify tutorial video and in this video,I'll teach you guys how you can add,product discount which you are offering,in your product page like this so you,will be able to display what's the,percentage of discount you're offering,in your product in your product page and,you'll also be able to display that in,your collection page like this so in,this product we are offering 28 off in,this product we are offering 66 percent,off which will highlight your product,and it will help you to improve the,sales we are implementing this in taste,team 4.0.1 so if you're using any other,theme the code might not work as uh The,Taste team but I have created other,videos where you can learn I have,created the sport on theme I'll also,create this for other themes if you want,so if you want to learn,please stick to the video don't forget,to subscribe the channel and let me know,in the comments below which team you are,trying to implement that and I'll try to,create video for that as well so without,further Ado let's get into the tutorial,so guys originally in taste team if you,add a sale price on your product it will,look like this,it will have a sale badge and it will,cross the original price and show the,discounted price but after implementing,this tutorial you will be able to label,it that how much percent you are,offering discount on that specific,product okay so let's close that down so,that's our theme and if I refresh you,can see that,it's showing sale so let's go to the,backend and try to implement that now,I'm going to go to the back end,by navigating to slash admin,okay so that's the back end of our store,I'm going to click on online store,and from online store so that's our,taste team,we'll be editing the code click on,actions and then edit code The Taste,team is four point The Taste team,version is 4.0.1,and if you are trying to implement this,on any other theme or any other taste,theme version the code might not work,and you'll have to uh place the code on,uh judging which line number is correct,for that code Okay now click on actions,and then edit code before adding the,code make sure to duplicate your team in,case you mess up anything in code you,can easily revert it back okay,let's go to the code editor so that our,code editor first file which we'll be,editing is price dot liquid so that's,the file click on that and in that file,navigate to line number 85 so that's the,code which we'll be replacing that's the,span from line number 85 to line number,87 if you have already done the,customization in your theme line number,might be different but you can see the,code on your screen which you need to,replace,so that's the code which we'll be,replacing,and I'm going to add a code which I have,created for you guys don't worry about,the code I'll put the blog post Link in,the YouTube video description so you,guys will just need to copy and paste,the code okay I have pasted the code now

in today's video we are going to,transform your shopify product pages,from this,to this,no coding required no app purchases,anyone can do this,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video all,right so i'm using shopify's free theme,sense and by default here's how the,product page looks,it's not bad but i feel like it's,missing a lot of elements such as trust,badges a star rating and customer,reviews,all right first things first we are,going to create a few meta fields if you,look at vessi's website these little,things here are what we're going to be,creating it's a way to organize and,store product information without,putting it all in your product,description box,so things like materials care,instructions ingredients and etc vesis,has put their product description in,these little tabs as well i have mixed,feelings on that but for this tutorial,we are going to do the same,from your shopify dashboard click,settings,meta fields,products,and click add definition,the first one we're going to create is,materials so type in materials,then click select content type and click,text,shopify made an update on april 6 where,you can now add medified lists so,previously if you had a list of,ingredients for example you would type,them like this,but with the update you can now type,your list like this,to activate that new feature all you,have to do is click this right here,except list of values,click save and we are going to create,our next one,click add definition again,start typing care,and then care guide should pop up here,click that,then click save,last one click add definition,type description,click select content type,select text,select multi-column text,and save,if you're new to meta fields and want to,see some more examples of what you can,do with them check out this video here,all right now let's go to our product,listing,and if you scroll all the way down to,the bottom of the page you will see the,new meta fields here,i'm going to go ahead and copy and paste,what i currently have in the description,box to both organize my information and,save space,the last one here is materials and you,can see the list feature in action all,you need to do is click add item to add,more lines or you can click the minus,here to delete any you don't need,all right let's save our work and then,we're going to add it into our product,page,you'll see here if i view my product all,the information i entered is nowhere to,be seen these tabs here are included by,default the sense theme but as you can,see they are empty,so click customize on your theme,click on this drop-down menu here,click products,default product,as i mentioned these tabs here are,included with the sense theme already,but if you're using a different theme,and don't have these under your product,information click add block,and click collapsi

Turning Shopify Sense Theme into a One Product Theme for Dropshippers

in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's newest free theme sense into a,dark one product themed design inspired,by this popular drop shipping product,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video,alright so if you haven't seen the theme,since before make sure to check out this,video sense is one of shopify's newest,free 2.0 themes and when i saw it i knew,i wanted to customize it and here's what,i came up with,so as you can see it's a simple one,product page design which makes it,really quick and easy to set up and the,entirety of its layout has one focus and,that is to sell this product now let's,jump into how you can replicate this,all right so first things first you will,need to install sense so from your,shopify dashboard click on online store,scroll down to where you can see free,themes,and click explore free themes,from there select sends and add the,theme to your library,i'm going to walk you through all of my,settings in this video and i will be,popping up the settings on the side like,this for easy viewing and i've also,created a cheat sheet containing all the,settings on one page which i've posted,in our private facebook group you can,find the link in our description box,okay with the theme installed click,customize and let's get started first we,are going to work on colors so click,theme settings,colors,and follow along with me,so,so,yes,here's what it's looking like so far,let's saber work and let's move on to,the next section,the next section we are working on is,checkout which you can find at the,bottom here,i'm going to navigate to the checkout so,i can see what i'm doing but you can,also do the same thing by selecting it,from the drop down here,yes,the last thing we're going to change on,the checkout is the form fields we are,going to switch this from white to,transparent,great job now let's move on to,typography,we are going to use the font poppins so,go ahead and start typing that in,and when it appears you can go ahead and,click on it,and then we're going to change this from,regular to semi-bold,we are going to change the body text as,well but we will leave it as regular,save your work and we are finished with,the design,now it's time to move on to the home,page sections,the first thing we will do is add an,image here this will be your main,product photo,if you click button you can change this,text to buy now and then link it to your,product,next by default we will have this,featured collection since this is one,product store i'm going to go ahead and,remove this block,then i'm going to move the multi-column,block up if you don't have this by,default you can add it in i'll be,showing you how to do that shortly,with these columns here you will want to,write in any key product features or,perhaps any appealing things your store,offers such as free shippi
