so in this video I am super excited to,share with you a brand new Shopify theme,that is really dedicated to stores with,a large amount of products or stores,that are doing wholesale options as well,as retail options on their Shopify store,so stay tuned and we're going to check,out this new a theme hi if you're new,here my name is Elle McCann and I have,been a Shopify expert for over 6 years,now so I get this question a lot of what,to do if your store has a huge amount of,products and it's kind of confusing in,terms of just organizing and also it's a,good user experience or how do you do,wholesale when you are using Shopify a,lot of these options aren't really built,into Shopify and while they can handle a,huge amount of collections and products,actually putting into your Shopify store,know all the themes actually really work,with that and it can get really,confusing for your customers and just,not a good user experience which of,course could hurt your conversion rate,so one of my favorite Shopify theme,developers is pixel union and they just,released a brand new theme called,superstore as well as an app that goes,along with it as well called wholesale,club so we're gonna hop into my screen,now and I'm going to show you both the,theme and the app that work great,together,so let's check it out so this is the,pixel union website and you can just go,to pixel Union dotnet or click the link,in the description below to view the,site they have a lot of different,Shopify themes so if we click in themes,here at the top you can see a list of,all of them and as we scroll down this,page you can see all of the different,themes that they have available there,really so many different styles so many,different types of stores for example,this one is great for one product or,doing like a Kickstarter launch and they,have a lot of different styles how you,want your site to look but I real,wanted to highlight their new theme,which is this superstore theme so if we,click you superstorm but what's great,about it is it is really built out for,large catalog stores as well as,wholesale stores so they have a couple,apps as well and those apps one of the,big ones is for wholesale so that app,actually ties in seamlessly to this,theme so they have two different styles,if you see here they have a fashion one,and a tech of course you can make it be,whatever you want so if we hit to view,this demo we can then see it here so,again as you're looking at this you can,see just how much it's catered to very,large catalog stores so so many people,have asked about you know how do you,manage a store that has a thousand,products and make it to where it's still,a very user friendly experience and,people can get in to the products that,they are wanting to view and you're not,overwhelming them and so I think this,store design does a really great job of,breaking it out to where it's still,really nicely designed and there's,really cool functionality like Twitter,feeds and of course it is very m

what's up everyone edwin anthony here,again back at it with another video and,in this video we're going to learn about,out of the sandboxes flex theme,so if you guys are brand new to my,channel what i do every so often is that,i talk about theme setups everything,related to shopify so if you like this,type of content please make sure that,you go into the subscribe demolish that,subscription and also don't forget to,turn on that notification bell so that,you'll be one of the first ones to know,when we come out with these videos,so again uh going over this what are we,talking about we're going to help you,guys install,flex and we're going to follow a,specific theme before this let's talk,about the company here real quick just a,quick introduction so the folks at out,of the sandbox are one of the first,pioneers of building themes for shopify,right and the theme that we're going to,talk about is one of their most highly,and probably one of the most expensive,themes that they have out of everything,if you guys check out my channel um i,also have one that talks about turbo so,make sure that you guys watch that uh so,if you guys you know want to make sure,that you like the style on how i teach,and all that stuff go go ahead and check,out that video first if you want to and,if you're already used to my style we're,just going to dive right into it so out,of the sandbox one of the top theme,developers they've created this theme,called flex and of course if you're,interested in getting started on this,i'll leave a link down at the,description so you guys could go ahead,and purchase a theme and then just,follow along but let's look at this as,towards what it has to offer so as of,today october 26th,we noticed that flex is now part of,store 2.0 so they just recently updated,their theme and it's called flex 3.0,that offers shopify's operating system,2.0 which is very good it's like really,really good i love store 2.0 because,they just have everything and they load,pretty quickly and so far so good based,on the experience,uh so reason why flex because flex has a,very nice interface that it allows your,store to look more than one way,you don't have to go very heavily on,investing with developers etc and you,could switch up your store to look many,different ways that's why flex,is a very good investment,and take a look at all these styles,you'll see all of these demos look there,is a lot of demos and as you can see,some of them kind of look the same but,you could see the difference as to how,your website could look like right not,just one way so we have like the menu,horizontal system and then we have this,other way where it has this vertical,interface which is nice,so if you're planning on having multiple,businesses or if you really need a theme,that's just very very flexible when it,comes to the type of niche take a look,at flex flex is definitely a very good,investment from a very powerful theme,development company which is out of the,sandbox,the one that we'r

i will tell you why you should never buy,a theme from the shopify store,it takes a while because the client has,700 000,products,in this video we're reviewing shopify,teams we will start with some basic,teams from 29 dollars which have a lot,of functionalities and we will move on,to,more premium teams upwards to 450,dollars we will look through them i will,leave you all the links in the,description,i will show you the features so you can,decide which one is best for you and i,will tell you why,you should never buy a theme from the,shopify store they are very expensive,and most of them are very very limited,most themes we are talking about today,will have a lot of pre-built,applications in them in the shopify,store you will find themes,but shopify will want you to use their,apps as well,so that's why probably you will pay a,hundred and eighty dollars,for a team and then you'll end up,spending 200 to 250,for apps normally when i look for a team,the first place i'm going to is team,forest i have been using,this website for a long time now they do,have,a lot of beautiful themes in the,bestsellers you will see,wookie well i bought wookie a few weeks,ago,and i asked for a refund because they,lack a basic functionality you cannot,set on how many columns you want the,products display on a collection page,on mobile and on desktop so if you,choose two columns on desktop that will,appear automatically in mobile,i think in this day and age this is,something essential for a website to,have but the five or ten percent of,people that go online,from a desktop device should be able to,see products in more than just two,columns so we will skip,wookie for now and we will go to the,cheapest theme available which is,lucian let's see some of the features,you got product color swatch,product quick review ax product filter,sticky add to cart sales pop-up search,autocomplete,built-in mega menu recommended products,and you have some hover styles here you,have here a few examples of the category,page,very simple team and for just 29 it's,basically free,if you're just starting out you might,want to pay the 29 instead of using a,free shopify team because you have a lot,more features,don't be fooled by the fact that shopify,has some free themes,you probably start your store with a,free team and then ending up,using a lot of apps which will cost you,monthly and besides that you will,lower the speed of your store so be very,aware of that moving on to the next one,which is,velouria here you have 28 homepage,designs,that you can choose from or you feel,free to customize it yourself as you,wish let's move on to the themes i'm,using most at the moment,which are the themes built by the four,link in the description the four dot co,the cheapest one,is bazel for 69 and the most expensive,one is 99,most complex one i'm using would be,gecko you got different home designs,here,in this team you also have optimized,product pages upsell by hurry countdown,full width add to cart,upsell by vis

76 percent of online consumers said that,what they care about the most in a,website design is how easy it is for,them to find what they are searching for,yes 76 and this tells you how much it is,important to make sure that when people,land on your store they can easily and,smoothly move around and they can easily,explore what you offer and get to know,your brand more and this honestly can,never be done without a very clear and,organized navigation menu,hi there I am jihab and on this YouTube,channel I share with you videos related,to e-commerce entrepreneurship and more,and in today's video I'm going to show,you how to set up your Shopify,navigation menus in the best way,possible but quickly and before jumping,to my PC I want to tell you some things,that you need to keep in mind while,organizing your navigation manuals my,first tip for you is to always put your,customers in mind put yourself in your,customers shoes and ask yourself what,would make sense for your customers what,would they be searching for let's say,for example you sell it jewelries so,most of probably your customers will,want to find your products based on the,product type so you need to have a Rings,collection a bracelets collection maybe,a watch collection in this case you need,to link to all of these collections,within your navigation menu but not only,that let's say I'm shopping online for,Rings there might be a specific kind of,rings that I'm interested in so maybe I,want to buy a wedding ring maybe I want,to buy an engage engagement ring or,maybe I want to buy an everyday ring in,this case you need to have the,subcollections within your navigation,menu as well and in order to do that you,need to create a multi-level navigation,menu and I'm going to show you exactly,how to do that when you move to my,screen my second tip for you is the,following when you are naming your menu,navigation tabs always use names that,make sense to your customers so let's,say for example you want to link to your,wedding rings collection simply use,these same exact words to name your tab,this will not only help your customers,to find what they are searching for and,understand what you are selling but it,will also help your store for SEO,purposes my third tip for you is the,following when you are creating or maybe,redesigning your navigation menu always,keep your tabs condensed don't exceed,seven tabs for your navigation menu and,I'm talking about the first level tabs,and I'm going to tell you why our brains,usually can't hold more than seven,things or seven ideas at the same time,on the short term so if you don't want,your customers to get frustrated and,leave just keep it simple and keep your,tabs to seven or maybe even less to five,my final tip for you and it is actually,a sacred tip always make sure that your,manual looks good on mobile so now we,are going to move to my screen to start,setting up your Shopify navigation menus,are you ready let's start so here I am,inside of the Shopify dashboard

hello and welcome to the out of the,sandbox video guide to the Mobilia 5.0,Shopify theme home page setup now using,new Shopify sections today we're going,to take a look at how you can go from a,fresh upload of the Mobilia theme and,customize it to look just like this,Sydnee sunglasses demo which we are,going to be using as our model and,during that process we're going to take,a look at the new Shopify sections,feature and see how you can put that to,use for the customization of your own,Mobilia 5.0 homepage so first let's take,a look at what we're working with,already on our Shopify admin panel so,here we are on the admin panel and we,already have products on the shop so,here we are with our product collection,here this is a sunglasses shop so we,have a bunch of sunglasses products with,product descriptions tags images prices,all of the data that you would expect to,see with a product on the Shopify,platform additionally the products are,also categorized into a collection or to,the few that we'll need for the homepage,demo if you needed any assistance on,adding products and categorizing the,products into collections on the Shopify,platform you can check out the Shopify,documentation and I'll post a link in,the description of this video to help,you out but it's on the Shopify,documentation that you will find all the,resources you need to actually operate,the admit self so besides products and,collections if we go down here to online,store here are themes but we also have,some blog posts here so these blog posts,have description tent they have titles,images and some of them have excerpts,and I'll show you why shortly we have a,couple of pages that we'll be using for,the home page content and we'll take a,look at those individually as they get,added to the home page and we have some,menus set up in navigation here so again,all of this is part of the Shopify,platform so you can check out their,documentation for any assistance,be coming back to the admin panel here,and showing you why we have these menus,set up as we do and what involvement,that has with the homepage set up so now,that we've taken a look at all of the,things that are already on the platform,let's go back to this themes link here,where we can see the themes on our store,here is my completed version but let's,go from a fresh upload of the theme so,depending on how you've purchased your,theme if you've purchased it directly,from out of the sandbox you would have,received an email with a download link,for a zip file that contains the theme,if you purchase the theme through the,Shopify theme store I believe that the,theme will be added to your admin panel,in an unpublished State automatically so,here I am just uploading the theme,adding it to my themes panel it's this,version down here I'm going to go ahead,and publish it so that we can see the,default appearance of the new Mobilia,theme so here it is and we'll use this,icon here to open up the preview in a,new tab so what you see here is

drop-down menus for your store, ,but aren’t sure where to
start, then keep watching.,If you haven't set up your
header and footer menus, ,then watch the previous video
in this series to learn how. ,You’ll need to have your header menu set
up before you follow along with this video. ,Drop-down menus are used to organize products,
collections, and pages in the main menu of your ,online store. This type of organization makes
it easier for customers to navigate your online ,store, and quickly find what they’re looking for.
Drop down menus are made up of top level menu ,items, and nested menu items.
Top level menu items appear in ,the main menu of your store, and nested
menu items appear in a dropdown menu. ,You can have up to two levels of nested
menu items within a top level menu item.,In this example, one of the
top level menu items is Shop. ,Shop has four, first level nested items within
it. Shop all, Tops, Bottoms, and Outdoor. ,Everything nested under those first level
items, make up the second level of nested items. ,Let’s create a first level nested menu item now.,In this example, I’ll start
with the Equipment menu item, ,and nest the collections for Fitness Trackers,
Yoga Equipment and Water bottles under it.,Start in the Shopify admin. From your Shopify
admin, click Online Store. Then, click Navigation, ,and then, Main Menu.,If you haven't created the menu item that
you want to nest, then click Add menu item, ,give the menu item a name, and link
it to an existing collection or page.,For full instructions on adding menu items,
watch the first video in this series.,To begin the nesting process, first, I
grab the icon next to Fitness Trackers, ,and drag it up, and to the right, under Equipment.,When you drag a menu item to the right, it nests
it under the previous, or top-level menu item. ,You know that the menu item
is nested correctly because ,it’s offset from the rest of the menu items. ,Now I’ll do the same for the Yoga
Equipment and Water bottles menu items. ,To see what the nested menu
looks like on your online store, ,click Save. Then click the
eye icon next to Online Store. ,Now let's create a second level nested item. ,In this example I’m going to
take the collection,”Yoga mats” ,and nest it under “Yoga Equipment” making
it a second level drop down menu item. ,I’ll do this by clicking and holding the six
dot icon next to “Yoga mats”, and moving it ,under and to the right of the Yoga equipment menu
item. Let’s click save and look at that change. ,Now, when we look at our homepage, you can see
