in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's newest free theme refresh into,a simple easy to set up one product,Dropship store,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products Drop,Shipping Shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,first things first we need to install,refresh to do that click online store,themes,and then scroll down to the bottom where,it says explore free themes,chocolate,select refresh,and click add to theme Library,once it's finished installing click,customize,the first thing we're going to do is,adjust the colors so click on theme,settings,colors,and follow along with me,just a quick note with these gradients,I'm choosing colors that match my,product I chose the orangey gradient,because of the color on the sleeves and,the purple because of the product photos,but feel free to choose a different,gradient that better matches your,product,oh,thank you,foreign,go ahead and save your work I know this,looks a little strange right now but we,will adjust everything when we work on,the sections by the way if you guys want,a cheat sheet with screenshots of my,settings colors the text I used as well,as the AliExpress link to the product I,feature in this theme join our private,Facebook group I'll be posting it there,you can find the link in our description,box,all right up next we are going to adjust,the checkout colors so from the drop,down select checkout,click theme settings,checkout,the first thing I'm going to do is,Select my logo you can't see it right,now because it's white but as soon as we,change the background color you will,next I'm going to change the background,color,change the form fields from white to,transparent,change this background color,the accent color,and the button color,save your work and head back to the home,page,for the home page I won't add any text,here yet all we're going to do right now,is set up the sections starting at the,top with the announcement bar I decided,to go with the other greeting I set up,so I'm going to select accent 2.,next I'm going to click on header,I'm going to change the color scheme to,background one,select my logo,and increase the width to 250 PX,then Under menu I'm going to remove the,menu this is a one product store so we,don't need any Links at the top,last but not least deselect enable,sticky header no need to have the Top,Bar following us around since we don't,have any menu links,moving on to the slideshow I'm going to,remove the third slideshow block because,I only need two,next change the desktop content position,to Middle right I won't be uploading the,slideshow image just yet but the image,size I used was 1920x620,by default I have a featured collection,section here which I'm going to delete,your sections might look a little,different than mine but not to worry,keep following along and I'll show you,which ones to keep,what I want here instead is a featu

hi everyone this is tim from milehi,themes.com in this video i'm going to,show you briefly how to create custom,page and product templates using our,themes,this functionality is supported in any,of our theme versions that support,online store 2.0,in this case we're looking at the,showtime theme but the same principles,will apply to any of our themes,so we're looking at the home page right,now,but if i click on this customer support,page this is an example of a custom page,template that we've used created in the,theme,we've got a banner up here with some,icons with text we've got an faq section,and we've got a contact us form that's,just an example of a landing page you,could create using the new sections,everywhere,so let's jump into a dev version of our,theme,and show you how that's done,so i'm going to go ahead and customize,our theme,and you'll see this drop down menu at,the top where we can quickly navigate to,pages or products,in this case i'm going to go to a page,and you'll see that there are a few page,templates that are included with the,theme here by default,as well as some that i've also created,for other videos,so if i click on the default page this,shows me what just a regular page in the,theme will look like,it's basically just got the content that,you've added in the rich text editor in,shopify,if i win if i wanted to i could go ahead,and add additional sections to this,template,but if i did that and saved then every,page that's using the default template,would also have the same sections with,the same content,that's not necessarily what you want to,do unless you want to have the same,sections and content with the same,images and text on every page,so a better thing to do would be,to click pages and create a template,we'll just call this custom three,and we can base it on different pages,depending on how we want the layout to,be so if we've already created a custom,page template that has sections that we,want to reuse but instead of having all,the same images and text,we use,unique content for each one then we can,base it on that in this case i'm going,to keep it based on the default page and,create a template,so now we're previewing this custom,three page template that i've created,it's not assigned to any pages yet and,we're previewing the about us page,now what we're previewing the page,doesn't really matter because we have to,set,the template that we're going to use for,each page,on the page settings itself,so for now it doesn't really matter what,page we're using in this case we've got,a few options for your heading and,regular page content over here depending,on your theme settings,we can go ahead and add sections to this,page now,and populate them just like we would,anything else and then save,so we've created our custom page,template and now we just need to assign,a page to it so to do that we can exit,out of the customizer,go to online store pages,and choose any page,so we've got this custom page that i've,used for another

what's up everybody welcome to a new,episode of theme rhino where today we're,going to be talking about the shopify,premium themes that shopify offers so,talk about debut theme brooklyn theme uh,those are free themes but here we have,modular theme pacific theme,trademark theme,all these themes are essentially vetted,and approved by shopify okay and then,we're gonna be talking about custom,themes which ones are you going to want,to go with are you going to want to go,with a premium shopify theme or a custom,premium shopify theme which i would say,is something like wolf of shopify so for,those who are beginners and who are not,really sure kind of how the structure,works is that shopify is a website where,you are allowed to build an e-commerce,store very similar to the ones that,you're seeing here on the computer okay,now whether you want to sell t-shirts or,headphones or dresses really doesn't,matter shopify will allow you to build,to sell these kind of things,now you have to ask yourself,what kind of design do i want to present,in front of customers,now,there's a lot of questions that go into,why you would be asking that but it all,comes down to your conversion rate,optimization you want to realize that,whatever you're presenting in front of,the customer whatever website you're,presenting that you have the largest,chance to turn that website visitor into,a customer remember that's called,conversion rate optimization and in fact,it's something that you should uh search,for should study at least that's what i,have done when it comes down to my,personal studies in shopify and in,building just businesses in general not,just shopify okay,now with that being said there's a whole,lot of different themes out there and,there are a lot of different theme,creators,now something you want to be aware of as,not every single shopify theme out there,is vetted by shopify so explain what i,mean by that,shopify has this i guess you could kind,of say store where you can buy shopify,themes,very similar to the ones you're seeing,here and it's a very limited amount okay,it's a handful i'm not sure how much,it's probably like,close to 20 20 to 30 themes okay so you,could see them here on the website,that shopify offers and these themes are,they go through an approval process,through shopify it's very very rare that,a creator can just uh put in their their,you know not very rare it doesn't happen,it doesn't exist where any creator can,just um post a shopify theme on the,shopify quote-unquote marketplace when,you buy from shop vines shopify has its,stamp of approval that's why they're,very very limited here these designs and,these designs that you're seeing here,are not only approved by shopify but,shopify takes these these designs and,they put them out there to the shopify,world when you click on that button that,says view more themes or purchase a,theme or visit shopify themes they're,going to take you to a page like this,that has these exact shopify themes for,these pri
