Turning Shopify Sense Theme into a One Product Theme for Dropshippers

in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's newest free theme sense into a,dark one product themed design inspired,by this popular drop shipping product,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video,alright so if you haven't seen the theme,since before make sure to check out this,video sense is one of shopify's newest,free 2.0 themes and when i saw it i knew,i wanted to customize it and here's what,i came up with,so as you can see it's a simple one,product page design which makes it,really quick and easy to set up and the,entirety of its layout has one focus and,that is to sell this product now let's,jump into how you can replicate this,all right so first things first you will,need to install sense so from your,shopify dashboard click on online store,scroll down to where you can see free,themes,and click explore free themes,from there select sends and add the,theme to your library,i'm going to walk you through all of my,settings in this video and i will be,popping up the settings on the side like,this for easy viewing and i've also,created a cheat sheet containing all the,settings on one page which i've posted,in our private facebook group you can,find the link in our description box,okay with the theme installed click,customize and let's get started first we,are going to work on colors so click,theme settings,colors,and follow along with me,so,so,yes,here's what it's looking like so far,let's saber work and let's move on to,the next section,the next section we are working on is,checkout which you can find at the,bottom here,i'm going to navigate to the checkout so,i can see what i'm doing but you can,also do the same thing by selecting it,from the drop down here,yes,the last thing we're going to change on,the checkout is the form fields we are,going to switch this from white to,transparent,great job now let's move on to,typography,we are going to use the font poppins so,go ahead and start typing that in,and when it appears you can go ahead and,click on it,and then we're going to change this from,regular to semi-bold,we are going to change the body text as,well but we will leave it as regular,save your work and we are finished with,the design,now it's time to move on to the home,page sections,the first thing we will do is add an,image here this will be your main,product photo,if you click button you can change this,text to buy now and then link it to your,product,next by default we will have this,featured collection since this is one,product store i'm going to go ahead and,remove this block,then i'm going to move the multi-column,block up if you don't have this by,default you can add it in i'll be,showing you how to do that shortly,with these columns here you will want to,write in any key product features or,perhaps any appealing things your store,offers such as free shippi

welcome back graduates so today i have,another awesome video for you but today,we're going to be shifting from dawn,theme and we'll be talking about sense,theme this is shopify's uh newest free,theme or one of their newest free themes,and i'm sure you all noticed that,they're starting to release a lot of,awesome free themes and but they're also,missing a lot of core functionality at,least in our opinion that that you know,core functionality that you need to,actually run a successful ecommerce,store and you know i'm not putting it,down it's just missing a lot of the,features and the reason why is shopify,they make money off of you know your,your monthly subscription and also off,of theme sales and app sales as well as,you know you selling your products they,get a cut of that so naturally they're,going to leave a lot of those features,off of your store so that way you can go,pay a monthly fee for an app there's,nothing wrong with that i think it's a,good business model but obviously for,people who are starting out they can get,very expensive very fast you know so our,goal is to help you you know minimize,your your monthly costs so you can,actually reinvest your profits back into,your store back back into your ads and,you know that way you can be a,successful uh store owner so anyways,let's get right to it i'm gonna show you,you know here's scents name it doesn't,have a car here's sense theme on our dev,store it doesn't have a slide out cart,but we're going to teach you how to do,that right now now we have the,instructions right here but what we're,going to do first things first as always,we're going to go into our store so,let's go to this,you'll start off in your your home here,click on online store,and let's go right down to sense so this,is on the latest version 3.1 now i did,test it out it does in fact work on the,older versions of sense but,in this tutorial we're using the latest,version and as always guys you should,always make sure that your theme is,updated,i know it's a pain in the butt to have,to go and redesign everything but you,know for you to have the most optimized,version and you'll have the fast load,times all that make sure you update to,the latest versions because there are,improvements in these in these themes,that's why they're updating them you,know don't you know try to stay on top,of that if you can i know it's difficult,but anyways enough of me you know,blabbing around let me just get right to,it so we're going to go in and we're,going to preview our theme here which,i'm already doing right here and what,we're going to do is also edit the code,so you go to actions here click on edit,code and voila you're there so the first,step is we're going to go and find the,sections we have to go and add the file,eg cart drawer which we have um,we don't have that here so let me pull,that up,i do have a million things open let me,try and find where i put it all right,here we go so we've got our sections so,here's the the tutorial and we'

Editing Shopify Site| New Theme SENSE

hey y'all it's ebony i'm back again and,in this video i'm going to show you,me playing around with a new shopify,template you guys i changed my website,maybe,every week okay every week and i figure,why not actually record the process of,me editing my website now this process,did take me about an hour i know exactly,how long it took me it took me an hour,and 10 minutes but i'm gonna go ahead,and speed it up for you guys,and only do a voice over on the,important parts or steps,for anyone who wants to use this as a,tutorial but for the most part this is,going to be sped up and you guys are,going to be listening to some music,um but yes we're going to jump right,into it,so here are the four newest themes on,shopify i selected the one that is named,sense okay y'all it was just too cute,look at it look how cute it is,it was too cute so i went ahead and,added it to my store and allowed it to,install and then once it installed i,went ahead and customized it,all right you guys so i'm under online,store under themes and i had to scroll,down and click on the theme that i want,to customize and hit customize now as,you guys can see this is what it's,looking like so far i really love the,setup but that lime green it just don't,really work,for,it does not really work for my business,what you see i also changed it to mobile,view because i know 90 of my customers,they shop using their mobile phone so,you guys are going to see me switch it,from mobile view and desktop view a lot,but the first thing i want to edit is,going to be this gradient so the pink,that's faded into that lime green color,it wasn't working for me so basically to,change that,um we got to get the toolbar on the side,so you guys see the toolbar on the left,hand side we're going to scroll down to,theme settings and then we're going to,click on colors and we're going to find,that gradient and we're about to change,this okay because it's liquid i mean,it's cute it just don't work for my,brand okay,now,this was brand new to me because i never,ever seen them have a gradient option,where you can change the colors,so what i'm doing is i'm going over to,campbell you guys you know i love canva,canva i have a lot of graphics and stuff,so i'm just copying and pasting the,color code from canva on over to shopify,so that i can switch up the gradient um,really quick i'm just playing around,with colors right here y'all um you,gonna see it took me a while to get the,color i wanted y'all it took me a while,um but i did end up getting the color,that i wanted but basically that's all,you're going to see me do is playing,around with the background colors,playing around with the gradient color,until i get a color that i am satisfied,with,you and i had lots of love just to top,it off,we can run and now for days never let it,stop i just want your everything baby,maybe later we can dance never let go,listen to our favorite songs on the,radio,losing up and lose ourselves to this,feeling oh i just want your everything,bab

I turned a FREE Shopify Theme into a One Product Store for Dropshippers!

in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's newest free theme refresh into,a simple easy to set up one product,Dropship store,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products Drop,Shipping Shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,first things first we need to install,refresh to do that click online store,themes,and then scroll down to the bottom where,it says explore free themes,chocolate,select refresh,and click add to theme Library,once it's finished installing click,customize,the first thing we're going to do is,adjust the colors so click on theme,settings,colors,and follow along with me,just a quick note with these gradients,I'm choosing colors that match my,product I chose the orangey gradient,because of the color on the sleeves and,the purple because of the product photos,but feel free to choose a different,gradient that better matches your,product,oh,thank you,foreign,go ahead and save your work I know this,looks a little strange right now but we,will adjust everything when we work on,the sections by the way if you guys want,a cheat sheet with screenshots of my,settings colors the text I used as well,as the AliExpress link to the product I,feature in this theme join our private,Facebook group I'll be posting it there,you can find the link in our description,box,all right up next we are going to adjust,the checkout colors so from the drop,down select checkout,click theme settings,checkout,the first thing I'm going to do is,Select my logo you can't see it right,now because it's white but as soon as we,change the background color you will,next I'm going to change the background,color,change the form fields from white to,transparent,change this background color,the accent color,and the button color,save your work and head back to the home,page,for the home page I won't add any text,here yet all we're going to do right now,is set up the sections starting at the,top with the announcement bar I decided,to go with the other greeting I set up,so I'm going to select accent 2.,next I'm going to click on header,I'm going to change the color scheme to,background one,select my logo,and increase the width to 250 PX,then Under menu I'm going to remove the,menu this is a one product store so we,don't need any Links at the top,last but not least deselect enable,sticky header no need to have the Top,Bar following us around since we don't,have any menu links,moving on to the slideshow I'm going to,remove the third slideshow block because,I only need two,next change the desktop content position,to Middle right I won't be uploading the,slideshow image just yet but the image,size I used was 1920x620,by default I have a featured collection,section here which I'm going to delete,your sections might look a little,different than mine but not to worry,keep following along and I'll show you,which ones to keep,what I want here instead is a featu

Add Hover Effect to Header Menu - Sense Theme Shopify

hey guys so today i wanted to show you,guys how to implement a hover drop down,menu in the sense theme in shopify so by,default on the sense theme you'll notice,we have to click these menu drop downs,and so too with these sub drop downs to,get them to drop down and so the outcome,of implementing this tutorial you'll see,is we just hover over these and they,drop down and so i'm gonna make two,videos in this series and in the first,video we're gonna cover how to get these,to drop down and also add an option in,your shopify backend for toggling them,and in the second video i'm going to,cover,now that these are hover drop downs uh,how can you make these main menu items,or sub drop down items how can you,re-add the clickable link to these,so here we are in our sites admin and,the first thing that i want you guys to,do before doing anything else is go,ahead and click this duplicate theme,button here and that's just going to,give you a sort of a save point for if,you make any mistakes during this,tutorial you'll be able to easily revert,your site back to that save point and,retry but once you've done that go ahead,and click edit code here and you'll,notice uh here's all your themes files,uh we're gonna find the header.liquid,file in your site's sections you can,either click on this folder or you can,type in header here and click on this,file,once you've navigated to that file i'm,going to go ahead and click this to make,it so we can code in full screen here,and i want you guys to navigate all the,way down to right before this schema tag,here so i'm going to leave a comment by,pressing ctrl or command and then the,slash,and that's going to give me this nicely,formatted comment and i'm going to put,add hover drop down here this is,obviously optional we're just notifying,ourselves this is where we've added the,hover drop down,if we ever want to go back and change it,now you guys are going to go and check,the pinned comment on this video and,copy the script tag which should be the,first piece of code that i've included,in there and so this script basically,just grabs all of our header items and,for each item it's going to add an event,listener,for when we both mouse over,and after we've done that we're going to,add an event listener for when we mouse,out,and on the mouse over we're going to set,this open attribute to true and we're,going to set this area expanded to true,as well,and we're going to remove those,on the mouse out,so after we've saved that,we can navigate back to our site and,refresh it,and you'll notice now that the hover,drop-downs are functioning so in the,second part of this video what we're,going to cover is how can we toggle this,and,make an option in the store,customizer so if we ever want to turn,off this functionality for testing or if,you want to go a different direction,with your site,there will be an easy check box to click,and just before we do that one thing to,note with this hover drop down is it,does rely upon how you structure

Reviewing The New Shopify Free Themes
