How to Transform Shopify's FREE Theme Ride into a Shopify HALLOWEEN Theme

in today's video I'm going to show you,how to turn shopify's free themed ride,into a Halloween store before we get,into the video if you like videos about,winning products Drop Shipping Shopify,themes apps and tutorials do us a favor,and hit that subscribe button and turn,notifications on now let's get into the,video all right first things first we,need to install shopify's free themed,ride follow along with me,once ride is installed click customize,all right the first thing we're going to,do is adjust our colors ride is already,a dark theme so we have very few colors,to change this should only take a few,minutes,foreign,to move on to the checkout from the drop,down select checkout and follow along,with me,we are finished with colors now let's,move on to the home page,the first thing we're going to do is set,up our sections to start remove anything,that isn't an image with text collection,list or email sign up,next click add section we're going to,add in a collection list,drag that up right below the first image,with text add one more collection,and then change the number of columns on,desktop from three to four,I have two more image with text sections,and then I have my email newsletter,below my email newsletter I'm going to,add in two more image with text sections,all right our next step is to adjust the,settings on each section follow along,with me,together,foreign,foreign,last thing before we move on every image,with text section click on the text and,make sure the heading size is set to,large,alright now it's time for the fun part,filling all this in foreign,thank you,foreign,page sections are now finished and we,are just about done but first click the,drop down and select collection,default collection,we have these two sections here that I,feel are taking up a lot of valuable,real estate so I'm going to hide them,I also recommend going through all the,pages in the drop down to adjust,everything to your preferences remove,any sections you don't want or need and,you'll likely need to adjust the email,newsletter as well last thing before the,reveal if you guys want to add things,like trust badges or image or color,swatches to your theme check out this,video these are my five favorite free,apps to make your store look more,professional and drive conversions all,right here's what it looks like,she's so bad,if you like this video do me a favor and,give it a thumbs up or leave me a,comment down below and if you haven't,already make sure to subscribe we post a,lot of time sensitive content such as,winning products on this channel so make,sure you have notifications turned on so,that you can be one of the first to,Market when we post those videos

Customize your Shopify Theme FAST | How to Design Shopify Store 2021

let's be honest your store design,matters and if you have a really ugly,site people are just going to leave and,they're not going to purchase from you,so in this video i'm going to show you,exactly how to customize,your shopify store design,as soon as someone comes to your site,they only have about seven,seconds before they decide if they want,to look longer on your site or,leave so those seven seconds really,matter and design,matters when it comes to that you want,to make sure that your site is,eye-catching,and it really speaks to your ideal,customer so,how do you do this you really need to,pick out your shopify,theme and make sure that it works based,on what kind of,imagery you have if you have a lot of,really great big images,then pick a theme that's going to,highlight those but if you don't have a,lot of great product shots,then you want to make sure that you pick,a theme that's not going to be heavily,reliant on that,once you've chosen your shopify theme,then it's time to,customize it and this is where it's,important to create different assets,choose your fonts and colors,to make sure that it's appealing for,your ideal customer,so this is super important but a lot of,times people kind of overlook the design,step so i'm going to show you really,quickly how to,actually customize your design in the,back end of shopify for both your home,page,collection page and product page so to,get here you're going to click on,online store and then you'll see themes,there from the list,so now that we are on the themes page,you can see your live theme here,this is what your customers are actually,seeing whenever they come to your site,as well as your online store speed we've,done another video on how to speed up,your site so i will,link that in the description below and,in the info cards above as well,and you can also see the theme library,so you can,upload your theme if you've purchased it,somewhere else or you can explore the,different,theme options available so for example,if you click on,explore free themes you'll actually see,a pop-up of all of the different free,themes that are available here,the one problem with this is if you,click into it you can't really see,how the site overall looks as well as,how it looks on mobile you can just kind,of see the different styling aspects,so what i do recommend that you do is,actually visit the theme,store so if we just click on this here,you can see,the full theme store and this is both,free,and paid themes so what i like to do,whenever i'm trying to decide on a theme,for a shopify store,is i'll actually go to all themes up,here at the top,and then you can see the sidebar here of,sorting options so you can actually sort,through,and you can see you know based on you,just want to see,themes that are just for single products,so if you click on that,then it shows you just that product or,specifications on the right hand side so,you can better narrow down what kind of,theme that it is that you are looking,for,so if we u

I turned a FREE Shopify Theme into a One Product Store for Dropshippers!

in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's newest free theme refresh into,a simple easy to set up one product,Dropship store,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products Drop,Shipping Shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,first things first we need to install,refresh to do that click online store,themes,and then scroll down to the bottom where,it says explore free themes,chocolate,select refresh,and click add to theme Library,once it's finished installing click,customize,the first thing we're going to do is,adjust the colors so click on theme,settings,colors,and follow along with me,just a quick note with these gradients,I'm choosing colors that match my,product I chose the orangey gradient,because of the color on the sleeves and,the purple because of the product photos,but feel free to choose a different,gradient that better matches your,product,oh,thank you,foreign,go ahead and save your work I know this,looks a little strange right now but we,will adjust everything when we work on,the sections by the way if you guys want,a cheat sheet with screenshots of my,settings colors the text I used as well,as the AliExpress link to the product I,feature in this theme join our private,Facebook group I'll be posting it there,you can find the link in our description,box,all right up next we are going to adjust,the checkout colors so from the drop,down select checkout,click theme settings,checkout,the first thing I'm going to do is,Select my logo you can't see it right,now because it's white but as soon as we,change the background color you will,next I'm going to change the background,color,change the form fields from white to,transparent,change this background color,the accent color,and the button color,save your work and head back to the home,page,for the home page I won't add any text,here yet all we're going to do right now,is set up the sections starting at the,top with the announcement bar I decided,to go with the other greeting I set up,so I'm going to select accent 2.,next I'm going to click on header,I'm going to change the color scheme to,background one,select my logo,and increase the width to 250 PX,then Under menu I'm going to remove the,menu this is a one product store so we,don't need any Links at the top,last but not least deselect enable,sticky header no need to have the Top,Bar following us around since we don't,have any menu links,moving on to the slideshow I'm going to,remove the third slideshow block because,I only need two,next change the desktop content position,to Middle right I won't be uploading the,slideshow image just yet but the image,size I used was 1920x620,by default I have a featured collection,section here which I'm going to delete,your sections might look a little,different than mine but not to worry,keep following along and I'll show you,which ones to keep,what I want here instead is a featu

76 percent of online consumers said that,what they care about the most in a,website design is how easy it is for,them to find what they are searching for,yes 76 and this tells you how much it is,important to make sure that when people,land on your store they can easily and,smoothly move around and they can easily,explore what you offer and get to know,your brand more and this honestly can,never be done without a very clear and,organized navigation menu,hi there I am jihab and on this YouTube,channel I share with you videos related,to e-commerce entrepreneurship and more,and in today's video I'm going to show,you how to set up your Shopify,navigation menus in the best way,possible but quickly and before jumping,to my PC I want to tell you some things,that you need to keep in mind while,organizing your navigation manuals my,first tip for you is to always put your,customers in mind put yourself in your,customers shoes and ask yourself what,would make sense for your customers what,would they be searching for let's say,for example you sell it jewelries so,most of probably your customers will,want to find your products based on the,product type so you need to have a Rings,collection a bracelets collection maybe,a watch collection in this case you need,to link to all of these collections,within your navigation menu but not only,that let's say I'm shopping online for,Rings there might be a specific kind of,rings that I'm interested in so maybe I,want to buy a wedding ring maybe I want,to buy an engage engagement ring or,maybe I want to buy an everyday ring in,this case you need to have the,subcollections within your navigation,menu as well and in order to do that you,need to create a multi-level navigation,menu and I'm going to show you exactly,how to do that when you move to my,screen my second tip for you is the,following when you are naming your menu,navigation tabs always use names that,make sense to your customers so let's,say for example you want to link to your,wedding rings collection simply use,these same exact words to name your tab,this will not only help your customers,to find what they are searching for and,understand what you are selling but it,will also help your store for SEO,purposes my third tip for you is the,following when you are creating or maybe,redesigning your navigation menu always,keep your tabs condensed don't exceed,seven tabs for your navigation menu and,I'm talking about the first level tabs,and I'm going to tell you why our brains,usually can't hold more than seven,things or seven ideas at the same time,on the short term so if you don't want,your customers to get frustrated and,leave just keep it simple and keep your,tabs to seven or maybe even less to five,my final tip for you and it is actually,a sacred tip always make sure that your,manual looks good on mobile so now we,are going to move to my screen to start,setting up your Shopify navigation menus,are you ready let's start so here I am,inside of the Shopify dashboard

HOW TO ADD TESTIMONIALS TO ANY SHOPIFY THEME 2022

welcome back graduates so today i'm,going to be teaching you how to add,another option to your store and that is,testimonials now i know yes you have a,review app you have all these other apps,we can get reviews a testimonial section,is more or less an area where you,feature your best reviews and it's,really really good to have because it,gives you that social proof it gives you,that edge over your competitors so,people can actually validate and say you,know what these people are really happy,holy crap i really want to buy this,product thank god these testimonials are,there so that's kind of what i'm going,to show you how to do and then you can,add this to the dawn theme and i'm going,to let you in on a little secret this,does work on all of the other free,themes that shopify offers,it really does but this video tutorial,is for dawn theme and for all the free,themes we probably will have a video for,each free theme that are out there um,just because people are searching for,that but anyways let's get right to it,i'm wasting time here three two one here,we go,so you're going to want to go into your,shopify admin,you know dashboard you want to click on,online store,and you're going to want to go to the,theme that you want to edit so dawn no,testimonials naturally that's the one we,want to edit so let's click preview and,then you also want to click edit code,right here now when you when you,actually get this download what you're,going to do is you're going to see two,files there's going to be a readme file,which i have open right here,and it's it's really that easy i think,there's there's literally one step one,single step so follow along closely i,won't repeat myself probably will as you,know you've been watching me for a while,you know i repeat myself quite often,alright so the first step here,is,you want to add a section called eg,testimonials dot liquid so that is a,section,and and it goes into the sections folder,so right here it is this is the,templates folder this is the layout,folder now we need the sections folder,we're going to click on add new section,paste that in there create section,and now what it's saying is,okay yeah you're gonna have to open up,this file all right my my tutorial file,is wrong i'm sorry,so eg testimonials are gonna open this,up in our text editor,whatever editor you want to use,i'm just using this one because i know a,lot of you don't have a code editor,but there's notepad plus plus there's vs,code there's adam editor there's sublime,editor for mac there's um,you there's text mate which i use,sometimes it's a pretty cool text editor,for free for uh max but,anyways we got our code right here we,want to copy this,but a bing butter boom here we go,highlight all of this and we're gonna,replace this right here,and we're gonna hit save,that's that's really it it's that easy,so now we're here we're on our preview,store there are no testimonials so let's,go and add these testimonials shall we,that's cool,um let's go here so

Shopify Debut Theme Customization | Debut Theme Design Tutorial

all right guys so in this video i'm,going to be showing you how you can go,ahead and,customize your debut theme within,shopify so debut theme,is the theme that all shopify stores,start out with,by default when you go ahead and start a,shopify store and if you haven't already,opened your shopify store yet you can,start your 14 day free trial by clicking,the first link in the description,so i figured i'd make this video because,debut theme,is one of the most commonly used themes,because it's the one that all stores,start out with and the view theme,actually looks,really good so right here we can see,that this is what debut theme looks like,when it's first installed with,absolutely nothing filled out,so we can see that we have where our,logo should be,we have a big header right here with,some text we have an image here,we have three images with text below,here we have,a uh empty collection and we have,another,um header type image right here another,wallpaper image,we have some testimonials and we have,three images down here,and then we have the footer so,right now we have a nice little template,but it's blank,so if you're looking to go ahead and,fill out,your um store using debut theme,the first thing you're going to want to,make sure you have is,a few key things so i'm going to bring,up a notepad and just make sure,because before you go ahead and start,the design process you're going to need,a couple things so the first one is,going to be a logo,so i assume you already have a logo at,this point if you're ready to start your,store design but if not,then make sure you get a logo first,because everything else is going to be,based around the logo,and then we're going to have a color,scheme selected,and normally this color scheme is going,to,be derived from colors from your logo,and typically,you're going to use one to two colors,to base your entire store around and,like i said these colors will be derived,from the logo and the next thing we're,going to need,is a couple wallpaper photos,so we can see we're going to need some,photos to go ahead and put back here in,this header,we need some photos to put back here and,this header as well,so if you have any large photos related,to your business,go ahead and upload them to your,computer or,put them all in one folder so we can go,ahead and,use them as backgrounds here and if you,don't you can use,different sites such as pixabay,to find free stock images that you can,go ahead and use,so let's just type in something like,fishing,so if you had a store related to fishing,you could go ahead and just,look for different stock photos here,or maybe you have something related to,yoga,or fitness you can type in a lot,of different niches depending on what,your store is based around,and you can use some of these wallpapers,to go ahead and put back here,now obviously i do think it's better if,you have your own,custom photos but uh you know not,everyone's gonna have that starting out,so if you don't you can go ahead and us

Shopify Dawn Theme Customization - Dawn Theme Design Tutorial (OS 2.0)

all right what's up guys this is jake in,this video i'm going to be showing you,how you can go ahead and customize and,build a store using the dawn theme with,shopify so dawn is the new default theme,whenever you set up a shopify store so,we're gonna go ahead and take a look at,how you can,set it up to make your store look good,so first thing you need to do if you,don't already have a store you can go,ahead and click the first link in the,description,and you'll be taken to this page right,here and you can just enter your email,address and go ahead and start your free,trial and we can go ahead and get,started setting up your store,so once you've went ahead and started,your trial,you're going to be taken to the back end,of the store right here and we can see,that by default the current theme is,going to be dawn so what we're going to,go ahead and do first is take a look at,the base template of this theme and then,we're actually going to start building,it out so i'm going to come over here to,actions and click on preview and now we,can go ahead and take a look at the base,skeleton that dawn provides us so we can,see here that we have a little,announcement bar up top we have our logo,we have our menu and we have the cart,and search icon we have a nice header,wallpaper right here along with a call,to action right here,we have another little,call to action with some information,right here we have,four featured products right here in,this section,and then we have a media collage that,includes a video,a collection and a product and then we,have a video section down here and then,we have a multi-column section which,includes three different text sections,right here and then we have the footer,so this is how dawn looks out of the box,and we're going to do a couple small,changes to it but mostly we're going to,be,building out this store using the base,skeleton of the theme to keep things as,simple as possible so with that said,we're going to go ahead and come back,over here and really quickly we're going,to take a look at the things you're,going to need to go ahead and build out,your store using this theme,so the first thing you're going to need,is a logo if you don't already have a,logo for your business or your brand you,can make one over here at logomaker.com,or you can come over here to fiverr.com,and search for a logo designer and get,one made for relatively cheap the next,thing you're going to need is some,wallpaper photos because we've seen,especially on the header you're going to,need some photos to use for that so,these are going to be pictures that are,related to your brand or your product,and if you don't have any of those,yourself you can go ahead over here to,pixabay.com or,unsplash.com to look for free stock,photos that are related to your product,or niche and then obviously we're going,to need product photos as well as,product details so this is something,that i assume you would already have,and then in this case we saw that there,was a video
