so in this video I am super excited to,share with you a brand new Shopify theme,that is really dedicated to stores with,a large amount of products or stores,that are doing wholesale options as well,as retail options on their Shopify store,so stay tuned and we're going to check,out this new a theme hi if you're new,here my name is Elle McCann and I have,been a Shopify expert for over 6 years,now so I get this question a lot of what,to do if your store has a huge amount of,products and it's kind of confusing in,terms of just organizing and also it's a,good user experience or how do you do,wholesale when you are using Shopify a,lot of these options aren't really built,into Shopify and while they can handle a,huge amount of collections and products,actually putting into your Shopify store,know all the themes actually really work,with that and it can get really,confusing for your customers and just,not a good user experience which of,course could hurt your conversion rate,so one of my favorite Shopify theme,developers is pixel union and they just,released a brand new theme called,superstore as well as an app that goes,along with it as well called wholesale,club so we're gonna hop into my screen,now and I'm going to show you both the,theme and the app that work great,together,so let's check it out so this is the,pixel union website and you can just go,to pixel Union dotnet or click the link,in the description below to view the,site they have a lot of different,Shopify themes so if we click in themes,here at the top you can see a list of,all of them and as we scroll down this,page you can see all of the different,themes that they have available there,really so many different styles so many,different types of stores for example,this one is great for one product or,doing like a Kickstarter launch and they,have a lot of different styles how you,want your site to look but I real,wanted to highlight their new theme,which is this superstore theme so if we,click you superstorm but what's great,about it is it is really built out for,large catalog stores as well as,wholesale stores so they have a couple,apps as well and those apps one of the,big ones is for wholesale so that app,actually ties in seamlessly to this,theme so they have two different styles,if you see here they have a fashion one,and a tech of course you can make it be,whatever you want so if we hit to view,this demo we can then see it here so,again as you're looking at this you can,see just how much it's catered to very,large catalog stores so so many people,have asked about you know how do you,manage a store that has a thousand,products and make it to where it's still,a very user friendly experience and,people can get in to the products that,they are wanting to view and you're not,overwhelming them and so I think this,store design does a really great job of,breaking it out to where it's still,really nicely designed and there's,really cool functionality like Twitter,feeds and of course it is very m

to talk to you today about upgrading,your theme to the latest version.,Now, there comes a time in every
merchant's journey after they've,bought our, one of our themes after
they've set it up, it's running, it's,making sales and you let it run for
three months, six months a year and,eventually you'll need to upgrade.,That reason for upgrading
could be one of many.,Maybe there's a new feature that's in
one of our latest versions that you,wanna take advantage of; a new section.,Maybe there is an app that you're
trying to integrate with that works,best with the latest version of our
theme, or maybe there's a bug that,was introduced for one of many reasons
that is fixed in the latest version.,One of the things that you get when
you purchase one of our themes is,access to the latest versions for
the entire life of that product.,Actually getting that theme installed
is another process in itself.,And it will vary depending on the number
of customizations that you've made and,how complex those customizations are.,We recommend that you upgrade
your theme at least once a year,,especially before any big sales season

you have three options available to,you: manually updating, the theme

your theme involves copying and,pasting configuration files from
the old version to the new version.,In addition to these configuration
files, you might also need to be copying,customizations that were done to the
previous version, such as styling tweaks,done by a developer or modifications made
by an app when it was installed, so that,it integrates properly with your theme.,It's really dependent on your particular
situation and the setup that you have,achieved with your previous theme.,Let's take a look at how we
go about copying configuration,files from one theme to another.,So here we have our store, as you
can see, we, our published theme,has expands version 2.4 installed.,And below here we have expands 3.1
installed as an unpublished theme.,Now you can see if we were to

what's happening guys so Nate back here,and in today's video I'm gonna tell you,my favorite Shopify themes for,print-on-demand,what's happened guys so what is the best,theme for print on a man well if you,went through my resource site my seller,resource site for my Shopify app I,recommend three themes that you can use,to get started their different price,points they're all paid themes but I did,not recommend a free theme so what I,want to do in this video is I want to,recommend a free theme that you can use,that I personally used and I'm going to,show you right now on my computer that I,actually like it's very clean and very,it does not have a lot of bells and,whistles it's very basic but what you'll,know about Shopify is you know more is,not always better so people always say,hey you know can you check my store can,you check my store I don't know maybe I,need a new theme maybe I should do,whatever and the thing is you probably,don't need a new theme or if you didn't,need a new theme you should switch to at,least a clean basic nothing fancy free,theme just to make sure that nothing's,causing any issues for your conversions,then you can upgrade to a premium feed,and I'm going to show you the one I,recommend here shortly so let's happen,on my computer I'm gonna start my screen,record the free theme right here is this,one right here I have it installed on my,printed pleasures Donna comp store this,is a demo site for my watches even,though it has a lot while I kiss here I,was testing something you can see this,is a collection page right and if we go,to the home page the theme this is a,free Shopify theme it looks amazing,printed pleasures I got a little logo,style Meech design and we can see we've,got my watches on the home page we have,a you know a little showcase image and,then it says view design and basically,this button just will send me to do the,collection page which is all products,whatever I have set this up very very,basic as an example for watches right so,if you're not signed watches already,print on my watch is definitely get on,it the very,very cool products but here I want to,show you this though this this theme is,very very clean and very basic I got,some trust logo I got the Add to Cart,button very simple drop down menus a,nice description and reviews underneath,even though there's no review for this,product whatever but they're there and,that is it so this will convert you,don't need any fancy timers you don't,need any junk very clean and then when,you hit Add to Cart guess what it does,it sends you to the add to cart page,what I personally like is I like going,sending people to the app if I'm using,Shopify if I'm using Shopify now if I'm,using a funnel this is different it's,different and I'll explain that later,but on Shopify I do not like to use the,slide up drawers and I do not like to,use the slide-out drawers I like to use,actual cart page on Shopify the reason,why is because the pixels don't always,fire all the time on differ
