is this the best Shopify theme that's,available today let's find out hey,everyone welcome to a new video my name,is Chris Wayne and in this one I'm gonna,be showing you a new theme that I've,been using across all my stores that,could potentially save you a bunch of,money each month by not having to pay,for expensive standalone apps so if,you're looking for a way to cut the,running cost of your of your Shopify,store then make sure you stick around to,the end because my one of my stores my,main store has gone from spending a,hundred and eighty dollars a month just,to run itself down to practically,nothing because of this app but before,we get into the content please connect,leave me a quick like on this video,because it really does help with,YouTube's algorithm it only takes a,second to do and I do really appreciate,it so if you're enjoying the content,please hit that like button and we can,get into it so some of you probably,already know the main theme that I've,been using across most of my stores has,been the booster theme it's the it's the,theme that stood kind of the test of,time for me it's been there for a good,18 months two years now it's done really,well for me I put most of my money,through that theme never really had an,issue with it but the the downside to,that theme especially for beginners is,it's actually quite expensive you know,you're looking at one hundred eighty two,hundred dollars just to get the license,for that theme and for a lot of people,just I now it's a cost that you don't,really need I mean I didn't start out,with a booster theme I started out with,one of the free themes from Shopify and,that worked really well for a time but,when I started making a little bit of,profit I decided I need to solve you,know put that back into the business of,trying to improve sort of the customer,journey when they're on the website so I,bought the booster theme because it,looked better I had more functionality,but it did cost a little bit money to,get going however what I found recently,is a new theme called Debu if it,I think it's called Debu if it correct,me if I'm wrong in the comments below or,is it's a completely free theme it looks,very very similar to booster and we be,showing you and we'll be going through,all in the laptop here I'm gonna be talk,me through everything showing you all,the different add-ons you can get with,it because what makes is special is you,could actually add apps to it as part of,a monthly subscription and I'll be going,into that in more detail it'll save you,a ton of money like I said you know I've,reduced my running cost from 108 dollars,a month down to practically nothing,because of this theme and this is,another theme that I'm using across all,of my stores I've replaced the theme in,every single of my stores for this,because I truly believe it is a game,changer so if you're looking for a new,theme if you're looking for a way to,reduce the running costs of your,platform then take a look at this,because it cou

hello everyone christian here today we,have a good one we're going to go over,product pages what makes them great and,why do people convert higher with these,let's find out,having great product pages is crucial,for conversion on your website a lot of,people tend to focus heavily on the home,page but the product page is actually,where the customer makes that decision,to purchase there are many different,features that so earners can use when,building these product pages and in this,video i'm going to show you some of the,best product pages that i found that are,actually using shopify and we're going,to talk about what makes them great i'm,going to,try to highlight that one feature per,product page but a lot of these product,pages are actually doing a lot of things,right so i will highlight a couple of,those things as well but i'm going to,try to yeah focus on just that one thing,per product page uh so that you can,probably uh resonate a little bit better,with with your product page and maybe,install a couple apps or something to to,help you convert higher so the first one,we have here is mavi jeans i think,that's how you say it mavi mavi secondly,in puerto rico it's a it's a juice i,believe it's made out of the,sugar cane i believe i think i don't,know uh we used to drink it when we were,little kids anyways so we got mavi uh,they are i believe a jean company for,the most part so they have a lot of,denim products in here um so their,product page beautiful they just,lots of information lots of really good,high quality pictures now the one thing,that caught my eye with this particular,product page is the way that they're,presenting their information here,it's a little bit different than,uh sure they have the paragraph right,describing the actual product but then,they go a step further into uh their,brand right and they have the stretch,and they have the this nice graphic,which is non-medium or max and then they,have medium weight and then smooth so,these are just sort of descriptions,right of this particular product but,again instead of just having it in,paragraph form or bullet points that,went the extra step of creating graphics,um to show you how this product you know,fits or feels on your body which is,really really really cool so i think,that's my one thing for from this,product page,which i haven't seen a lot of in even,all these other product pages here,having that that graphic right there,just makes it very very unique to their,store their brand and their experience,a couple other things that they're doing,really well here,the at wish list that's something that,almost everyone should have,and then i really really like the fact,that,the call to action which is going to be,the add to cart button here and the,product page is always going to be the,add to cart,follows you around while you're still,looking at these pictures,very very important and obviously high,quality pictures look at this they have,front side,detail shots,the back of the product

okay let's see what it looks like,i mean i i adore that like i really,really like that just a disclaimer dawn,is still,being improved etc etc so be careful,hey guys what is going on it's hamish,from income stream surfers i'm going to,teach you how to add this effect to your,shopify store,this is a background image that has been,repeated,and yeah let's just get straight into it,so the first thing you want to do is you,want to choose a background image,so cheese cartoon my my fake,shop is a is a cheese shop so we'll go,with cheese,let's say we pick this one i've already,picked this one so we put it into,photo p and then you want to press w,and you want to select this and you want,to delete it,select any remaining kind of out layers,delete delete delete this has got a,watermark on it but this is just an,example,guys and then we have our cheese,and then what we want to do is you want,to right click and free transform and,you want to make it smaller,like this okay,so this is our cheese okay copy it,and then press new and this will save,the copied um,resolution and then just paste it and,now we have a perfect image,you can make it less opaque if you don't,want it to be too,dominating on the page okay so once,that's done we want to export it as a,png,so it's um transparent,hamish from the future here guys just,make sure that you can see the text so,make sure,because once you do this you probably,won't be able to see all of the text so,make sure that you,select a specific color that contrasts,your pattern,on all of your pages on all of your,headings text etc,okay once you've got your image you need,to upload it to,the back end of your shopify store so go,to files,uh upload file and then just upload the,file obviously,this takes a couple of minutes okay so,now you want to copy the link and,and then you want to open a notepad,so copy this link and put it into a,notepad a fresh notepad,and then you can get the code from the,description i can't delete it because i,haven't got it saved,hang on okay so in the description there,will be this code,so you can get a notepad like this you,can copy your url,and then the code and then copy this and,then replace this,with your um,your picture your url and then copy all,of it and then you want to go on online,store,so the good thing about dawn and i think,all,like debut and then updated versions of,the new themes,they don't have the theme.scss file,instead they have,this base.css file which you can find,in assets it's the first one in assets,so open this up,uh i like to put this in uh online 269,as you can see it's already in uh it's,already in there,but yours will not have this yours will,look like,this so we go to line 269 you can just,copy,and paste the url the code,into it and then let's have a quick look,what that looks like,so as you can see i personally i really,like this it's,um i would change it slightly though,which is what i'm going to show you now,so i would have it so it wasn't just um,square square that th
