hey guys and welcome back to Honeycomb,something a little bit different today,it's been about more than a year,actually since we've opened up something,like this on the channel,um it's something that we're super into,and if you are a collector and you like,sneakers as an art piece here's,something that's around the same price,range that you might want to start,collecting as well,um as much as I love all of my sneakers,I'm under No Illusion that those are not,breaking down and and degrading and,getting older as I'm using them and they,are functional that's why I love them,but when it comes to art art you can,really see as an investment that's you,know a little bit more long term and one,of the most,Democratic I would say forms of art is,the vinyl art toy today we're going to,open up this box this is from Green,Barrera we picked it up from a local,Gallery named vinyl on vinyl which is,world renowned we've done a lot of work,with Gabby and Pia and the guys over at,vinyl and vinyl over the years I,actually did not know that this was,coming I knew a little bit about the,project I had spoken to Reen with it,just a little they posted about it on,Instagram,um just hours before the show that these,guys arrived in a crate and I drove,right over I actually saw the Instagram,post the show had already opened it was,like 8 p.m and I texted them and I was,like hey is there still stock and they,said there's barely stock there were,three different toys and only this one,was left they had double ordered and,these were a preview so this toy will,not come out officially until San Diego,Comic-Con which is the official launch,of all the Greenberg era mine Style toys,so the box is a cardboard box,in pictures it tends to look like wood,and mine style is one of the best toy,manufacturers in the world for this kind,of art toy and the box is itself,fantastic there's spot lamination if you,watch the channel you know I'm big on,spot lamination but that's really what,creates the texture for this box there's,kind of like a wood grain kind of a,counter wood grain that's printed in a,spot lamination on the box so the Box,itself has a matte lamination and then,there's some shiny bits and that really,adds to the texture of the entire box,and then on the front the character,itself is there and he also has a spot,lamination on it this is the Rin Barrera,ulala it says here number one this is,the first ever vinyl POI made by Green,Barrera and it's made by mine Style,mind-blowing,other than that let's flip it over,because there is something I do want to,show you,it says Irene Barrera powered by vinyl,on vinyl so congratulations Serene,congratulations to vinyl on vinyl so,it's a magnetic closure box,top opens up,and there's the toy,there's some writing over here we'll get,to that let's pull out the toy first,he sits in this bed of hay and uh yeah,there's nothing in there oh I forgot to,point out uh on the back of the box,there's also a holographic sticker all,licensed products from mind

hello and welcome back to my channel,charlie making toys i'm charlie and this,is a short video series where i will,talk about collectible art toys from,japan called sofubi or soft vinyl toys,but what exactly are sofobee,is actually a combination of words,written in japanese katakana phonetics,as sofito binuru which literally means,soft and vinyl it's sometimes even,written out as sof v,while there are many types of vinyl toys,and art toys out there sofabee toys are,usually referring to the specific style,of soft vinyl toy that is mainly,produced in japan,japan has a long and rich history with,toys but post world war ii they began,producing and exporting these soft vinyl,toys,each decade brought a new craze of,popular character types such as the,kaiju monsters in the 1960s,sentai superheroes of the 1970s,and the mecca robots of the 1980s,it wasn't until china became involved in,mass producing toys and hard plastics,that sofa be began to become less,popular,during this time amateur artists and,geeks alike realized they could actually,produce and customize their own toys of,their favorite characters at home,through resin garage kit models,which is when an independent designer,would sculpt a figure and make multiple,copies using silicone molds and resin,casting then package and sell an,unassembled unpainted figure to other,collectors and crafters,it wasn't until the 21st century that,these designer art toys urban toys or,indie toys began to take hold worldwide,and become more common as a standard,household name amongst toy collectors,these independently produced toys,created by indie artists and amateur toy,designers are now highly sought after as,pieces of art rather than a child's,plaything,while silicone and resin crafting,materials are more common to find it,easier to acquire and utilize for,various at-home art projects,they are still considered an expensive,and difficult material to use,unfortunately the production process for,soft vinyl toys is so complicated and,expensive that they can really only be,made through professional factories and,artisans,i will go more in depth into the details,of the process of making an actual,software toy in later videos but just a,quick rundown for now,basically an artist will design an,original character,then sculpt it into three dimensional,figure traditionally or digitally,using the prototype model you would then,make a wax copy if it wasn't originally,sculpted in wax,this wax copy will then be sacrificed by,being melted down and transformed into a,bronze metal mold through an,electroplating technique,this creates a hollow metal version of,the original sculpt that will then be,used to produce multiples of the,original model in soft vinyl material,through a roto-casting technique that,involves a centrifuge machine and,boiling bats of oil and water,simple enough right,except those last few steps are next to,impossible to do on your own without,trained professionals and expert tools,in machinery,because of this

hey guys welcome so in today's lesson,i'm going to talk you through the key,elements of a high converting sales page,right,and uh for you as a business online a,sales page is literally like,the storefront or the store if you're an,in-person business okay,so how you display your product how you,talk to the customer in the store how,the front of the store looks the,location,they're variables that are going to come,into play with the sales page,and just like in real life in person if,your store is,out of stock it doesn't show the,products well it's dirty,it's dark you don't have a good sales,team on the sales floor,it's in a bad location uh the prices are,all off,um you know like all of those variables,no one would buy right that store would,go out of business,and that's kind of more obvious to most,people,than the sales funnel or website okay,and you know as you know,me i don't really like websites websites,don't make you money they just look good,um but funnels make you money so just,think about that as a funnel right like,a lot of people have,uh and ugly funnels like white funnels,that are just white with text,can convert if they're and written by,world-class copywriters because the copy,is so important,and that's why you know you don't need,to be a designer to make these funnels,especially as,you know we use and recommend click,funnels for people getting started,because you can,it's almost like microsoft word and you,can drag and drop and i can build in,there,you know a lot of my staff that are,non-tech can build in there,um but yeah so the funnel is so so,important and,if you get that wrong then it doesn't,matter what you do on the facebook ad,side or the google side or if you're a,big instagram celebrity,you know like the funnel is going to,make or break it just like the store,would on an in-person business,and that's why you know we're spending,so so much time,working on your funnel before we even,talk about ads okay because this is so,important,so with that being said let us dive in,um,i'm gonna basically walk you through,like the key elements i,always use on sales pages and copy bear,in mind i've generated,millions and millions of dollars writing,copy for myself,and now i have you know full-time,copywriting team that have generated,like one of those generated a quarter of,a billion dollars in copy,and i have some friends that have,generated over a billion dollars from,their copy,that i work with and train with as well,okay and you know just to clarify too,we charge ten thousand dollars to write,a page some of my friends that are even,better than me at copy like,20 year copywriters they can charge up,to 50 000,to write a sales page copy and upsell,copy,and you're probably well that's,ridiculous who pays that the people that,pay that,are big marketers like me grant cardone,like we understand how important copy is,so we will pay that money because we,know you know take someone like grant,cardone i'm not saying he has or,has but just say someon
