HOW TO ACTUALLY START A CLOTHING BRAND ON A BUDGET 2022

hey guys it's jake in this video i'll be,explaining how to actually start a,clothing brand on a low budget so we'll,start with how to actually make the,clothing there's a couple ways you can,do this the first one is print on demand,this is the easiest and most,straightforward it's nice if you really,know nothing and just want to start,learning the basics of doing business,and selling products at a profit but,it's in genuine and doesn't really allow,you to stand out in the market i think,the packaging the customer receives has,the branding of the print on demand,service you use which you definitely,don't want tied to your brand going long,term so we won't be using this method,for this video the second method is to,make it yourself this gives you more,control over your product this requires,an initial investment for equipment and,machinery which can be expensive and not,very well friendly usually a basic,screen printing setup can be a few,hundred dollars or embroidery machines,can cost more than a thousand this is,best when you have a little bit more,capital play with so we won't be,entertaining this method in this video,the third method is to use a screen,print or embroidery service this would,be the best option when starting out you,just need capital for shipping supplies,and enough to cover the labor expenses,of making your clothes if you don't know,where to look for an immediate screen,printing or embroidery service i,recommend limitless manufacturing i've,used them before and their turnaround,times are pretty good if you reach out,to them tell them seek sent you and get,100 off your first order this is the,general list of what you need you need a,website you need a business instagram,which is an instagram account that's,linked to a facebook page and,categorized as a business account gives,you access to analytics and stuff like,that and it's also free to do you need a,reddit account you need adobe,illustrator or photoshop or any other,drawing software there are ways to get,these from torrenting but i don't,suggest doing that some sort of,packaging i recommend polymailers you,need packing tape thermal printer is,super useful but not required in the,beginning but i heavily recommend you,invest in one as you get more orders and,a wholesale account with vendors which,i've talked about in a previous video,this isn't really required in the,beginning because most likely your,screen print or embroidery service you,use will have an account already with,these vendors and can order on your,behalf and get the blank clothes shipped,directly to them but it would help in,the future if you want to order the,blanks yourself then bring them to the,manufacturer this helps with planning,and lead times so for whatever your,brand is you need a logo a name and an,idea for the vibe or aesthetic for your,clothes i can't help you with your logo,or name that is completely up to you in,regard to the type of graphics you want,to make this is also up to you you can,make the

How to Sell Merch on Facebook and Instagram – Step by Step Instructions

Today, I want to talk about ,an exciting opportunity for you as an artist to actually sell physical products — CDs, vinyl, ,merch — to a huge audience of fans online. Now, when, as an artist, you're trying to sell product ,online, which is really important, especially right now that there's no live concerts happening, ,you probably think about Bandcamp. And Bandcamp is probably the number one, an amazing ,platform for selling your music and your products directly to fans. However, there are ,two other platforms that reach a much, much bigger audience that also have a shop functionality, ,except most artists don't seem to know about it. And those are Facebook and Instagram. ,And so today what I'd like to do is explain to you how you can set yourself up to sell product — CDs, ,vinyl, t-shirts — on Facebook and on Instagram to a large potential audience of fans. And in ,order to do that, I'm bringing in Carter Fox who is Social Media Manager for Disc Makers and he's ,also a very successful artist in his own right. His recent single was launched in January ,and in eight weeks already has over a hundred thousand Spotify streams. PACKAGING UP ETSY ORDERS + What Are Candle Care Cards? Showing You How I Add Them To My Orders!

hey guys welcome back to my channel if,you're new here my name is Erica and I,make videos all about making and selling,candles if you guys want to check out my,Etsy shop or my new merch line you guys,can look in the first links in the,description box below,but in today's video we are going to be,making another video on how I package my,Etsy orders so I'm just gonna take you,through some some of my orders and show,you how I package them I also wanted to,talk a little bit about care cards in,this video I've gotten a few questions,on how I packaged care cards in my,orders and if you guys have no idea what,care cards are we'll get into that,momentarily but let's go ahead and get,started,also I apologize if you here eating my,dog decided to start eating his,breakfast right now so we're gonna start,with all of my wax melt only orders I,went ahead and I prepped all of these,just so it'd be a little bit easier I,did find two that I was spending way too,much time packaging up my orders because,I wasn't doing everything in bulk so for,instance I do everything in bulk now I,print all the labels I do all the,thank-you cards I wrap everything up and,I just kind of do it that way and then,I'll wrap everything up in bubble wrap,so I I'm very particular when I do that,but today everything's pretty prepped so,we're going to do each one individually,and also I got new thank-you cards how,adorable are these they're all different,so I think there's like four or five,designs I got these all on Amazon but,they go perfectly with kind of my theme,of greenery and I have my green tissue,paper so I really really love these I,thought they were gonna be way too big,because I didn't even look at the size,when I ordered them I don't know why but,they're 4x6 and my boxes are 4x6 so at,first I thought oh my gosh that's not,gonna fit but yes it fits inside here,perfectly so that's,and then of course that'll fit inside my,Polly mailers too so I'm just gonna give,some basic shipping info in this video,if this is your first time ever looking,up FC shipping orders so I'm shipping,all of my wax melts first class first,class just means that they weigh under a,pound so anything that weighs under a,pound you can ship it first class I,would be able to ship it in a box or in,a poly mailer I choose to just put it in,these black poly mailers and that's just,the way I like to do it so what I am,able to do is these these tissue paper,this is what I get from Uline so I get,these from Uline and they're actually,pretty big so a combination of this size,and this size right here is what they,come in so that it's actually connected,and it's a bigger size when I get it but,what I found was that the bigger size,was too big for my candles so I just cut,a little piece off and I use these for,my wax melt and then it makes it a,perfect size for my candles so I found,that that was the best way for me to do,it and I will link that in the,description box below as always you guys,can check that out the descri
