hey everybody Tania's shooting star SVG,back in today I am going to talk about,how to install themes in your Shopify,store that are not directly from Shopify,so this is strictly regarding the theme,forest themes from,envato I'm gonna include a link in this,video that will direct you to the,Shopify themes and templates and here,you can see this is the Waukee theme,this is what I currently use on my,website and there is a lot of different,themes here that are useful for what,you're trying to do on your Shopify,stores so just take a quick look of,those I will be doing a video slash a,blogpost shortly now that I'm back up,and running after being on night shift,in this crazy pandemic we have going on,on some of the better themes for Shopify,based off of what you're trying to do so,anyways what you're gonna want to do is,you're gonna find the theme that you,want right and you're just going to go,ahead and purchase it hmm after you,purchase your theme what will happen is,is that theme force will send you a,confirmation email okay and you can see,I purchased this the beginning of this,year you'll be able to open up your,account and go to my downloads and when,you go to your account back page you,will download the files now here you can,get all the files and documentation,including your license certificate in,your purchase code this is important,because when you go to load your new,theme into Shopify you're gonna have to,enter this information and okay so you,want to make sure that you have that,okay so when you download all of your,files and documentation is going to be,in a zip format so you're gonna have to,extract that right so this is what it,will look like it will have any updates,the user manual and your installation,zip file and it was important that this,stays as is it now if you're unfamiliar,with how to zip in onto,files I do have a video on my youtube,channel for that you can just go ahead,and search for it and I'll walk you,through how to do that right so once you,get everything into a folder then you,will see these zip files here and just,make sure you either keep that folder,open or you know where you're navigating,to because that will be important for,the next step when you go to your,dashboard on Shopify basically this is,what you'll see when you log in you're,gonna want to click on online store and,you're going to click on themes now you,can see here that I already have this,installed it's pretty straightforward,process okay you're gonna do this like,you would do any other theme you're just,gonna click on upload theme and choose,your file I think you can also drag it,over so we'll go ahead and try to do,that um since I do have it open so you,can actually note that did not work so,you can go to choose file I know mine,went into here and then you click on,your zip file and click open now what,that's gonna do is it'll show the dots,if you click on upload file and it's,gonna start working hopefully this does,not override anything for me beca

welcome back to the channel guys my name,is daryl wilson and today in this video,we'll be talking about some of the best,multi-vendor e-commerce themes for,wordpress now last week i had a,multi-vendor e-commerce tutorial and a,lot of users were asking me about what,kind of theme they should use for their,multi-vendor store and to be quite,honest a lot of the themes don't play,that big of a role when building a,multivendor store but there are some,that are helpful so today in this video,i'll give you guys a list of seven,themes that you guys can use three of,them are free and four of these are pro,themes i did purchase all these themes,and i tested them out for about a week,so i'll go ahead and show you guys my,results of themes that i think are,actually worth your time,first up astra,the astro theme is probably the best,multipurpose theme for wordpress the,astra theme allows you to display any,number of products per row and add as,many rows as you want you can display or,hide the product structure like the,title the ratings the price or add to,carts and you can also move them around,the decon plugin also integrates well,with astro as you can design and,customize the store page in the theme,customizer you can also adjust the page,layout and the header area you can also,hide or display the vendor information,on the page it's a pretty standard,overall multi-vendor theme and there are,some notable options in the pro version,next up bloxy,the bloxy theme probably offers the most,woocommerce features out of any free,wordpress theme,the bloxy theme allows you to design and,change your products on the shop page,with two different styles you can adjust,the columns the rows and the page,elements bloxy also offers various page,layouts for the single product page,where you can adjust the color the,positioning and even the design of the,product title,overall it's a pretty neat wordpress,theme and i do like it however the demo,importer does get stuck a few times and,this was reported by various users,bloxy also does have a built-in,integration with docon so you should,have no problem getting set up with your,multi-vendor ecommerce website overall,bloxy is a pretty solid pick for a,multi-vendor e-commerce theme,next up neve,the neve theme is another all-around,great wordpress theme for a multivendor,store the theme features are pretty much,identical to astra where you can adjust,the products per row and add as many,products as you want however with the,neve you can adjust the page layout for,the shop page product page and the,product archive pages independently sort,of like a theme builder,however the real power lies in the pro,version of this theme the pro version,gives you a lot of options like allowing,you to adjust the product's style you,can change the layouts change the add to,cart button enable quick view,and also add a wish list,the single product page has tons of,options like a gallery thumbnail slider,and image zoom effects showing,breadcrumbs and muc

in this video i'm going to show you how,to modify and edit the home page,for the shopify expanse theme this is a,paid theme,available on the shopify app store and,other places online i'm going to show,you how to edit this banner,the navigation here top header,these items here scrolling down your,messaging,how to change all of this select it,testimonials footer etc okay so the,first thing we're going to do,is we're going to log in to the shopify,admin,i'm already logged in so it's going to,take me right in,okay so you're going to see some things,you may see these where it says,customize theme,add domain name etc we're going to go,ahead and click on online store,we're not going to worry about any of,these other items right now,we're just going to go to online store,if at any time during the time that i'm,actually working on this,if i wanted to preview this what i,usually do is i'll keep,one uh window open here like this and,then i'll go ahead,and select customize i right click on it,and open it up in a new tab,just so i have access to come back to,this section and i have to go back and,forth you know uh to change things,so uh right now i'm gonna go ahead and,just keep the website here,now if we look at this,expanse was already installed,and we've configured it we've actually,made these banners,made the images,jeez pms,okay so now we've logged in we actually,clicked on the customizer,and we're in the back and if you notice,over here on the right hand side,we have some things we can do some quick,keyboard shortcuts and things like that,you can mess around with that later,if we scroll down on the center here,you'll see,your website okay now um if you,look up here you have homepage products,collections we'll get into this later,but you can actually edit these directly,as well there's only a couple of options,available for each one,um the only page that has this like,wysiwyg,editor is the home page so the internal,pages do not,right so that's why you either need to,pick a theme that you like that has a,cool,you know collection page a cool product,page things like that,or pick a theme generic theme and then,add to it with code,or apps okay a cool thing about shopify,is it does have this ability right here,to go ahead and click on and look at how,your website would look into mobile,so you can go ahead and look at that,while you're actually playing around,with it click on desktop and if you,click on full screen,it gets rid of all the menus together so,we're gonna go back to desktop,and this announcement bar here so this,announcement bar at the top we go ahead,and click on that,and shopify just changed the way it has,this whole it's called online 2.0,so now they have this whole new backend,you're going to want to click on the,actual,arrows now to do the drop downs well we,have messages,here that actually rotate for this,particular theme,so if you look at it when i click on,these they'll actually show up on the,right hand side here,so if you notice i can act

hello everybody i'm going to show you,today how to bring,shopify's modular blocks to build out,other pages on your website,as you can see this is a page,on my website chibi.com,which is not my home page but i have the,block functionality i have the section,block functionality,and i'm going to walk through how you,can do that,so first you're going to need to know,how to do,how to edit html and liquid,if you are not familiar with how to do,this you should probably contact a,shopify expert,so let's jump in first,uh i i'm like i have highly recommend,using a theme that already uses modular,sections,i'm building and customizing off of,shopify's venture theme which is one of,the free,themes and when you're thinking about,what you want to bring to your custom,page so i'm doing uh,essentially a business marketing page,for business services and i kind of just,wanted to have,an image on one side and then text on,the other and i kind of just wanted,to alternate so,when i was thinking about what i wanted,to bring to that page,i looked through the existing options,so you know you can you can click,through,and see which thing that you want,and i chose image with text that's what,i,that's what i really want to work with,so what i did was that i went to,i went to image content,because that's actually what the file is,called and,i clicked it i opened it i grabbed all,this code in here,and i went and created a new section and,this is my custom section,so i would add new section and i titled,mine business home because i'm creating,a business home page you can call yours,whatever you want,so let's hop over i customize my,i customize my settings to do exactly,what i want which is,um i was looking to,be able to quickly add in like either,image blocks or text blocks so that's,how i customize mine,i have the ability to do left side or,right side and you see it's dynamically,switching this is something,this is one of the features that i,really love about shopify is that,everything is,live previews,i would so the the only things that you,need to,note is that you can call this name,whatever you want,you can you can when you define your,blocks for this,um you can,you have to kind of hard code the the,type of,the type of features that you want into,this one page so basically,everything has to be soft all the,options that you want have to be,self-contained in this section liquid,this is different from the typical,from these from the dynamic ad section,area on shopify's like customized theme,home page so on your home page you can,pick like from a big list,that's not the case we're actually,creating see business home we're,creating a section that's a lot closer,to the footer,so i noticed that with the footer,we still get these drag and droppable,dynamic sections and i want to be able,to bring that to another page,so once you once you customize,once you customize your features that,you want save out,save the file and then let's hop over,into,our theme.liquid what you need to kno
