hi guys in this video i am going to show,you that how you can add marquee effect,in your announcement bar so currently,you can see on my screen that this is a,shopify store and on the top header you,are seeing that the text is sliding from,right to left so how you can do that,quickly so i will be showing you step by,step that how you can add this specific,effect into your shopify store so,basically the benefit of this is that,this is making your store little,attractive and customers are interested,to read on the top and maybe you can add,the text like you are providing some,kind of sales to your customers or you,are have any specific notification for,your customers like your products are,delayed or something like that so you,can add such,things on the top,so before continuing the video if you,are no uh if you are new on this channel,then please subscribe this channel first,so uh let's get started so let me show,you actually i have already,written a blog post on this so you only,need to copy and paste the code and then,everything is done,so,here i have written the code so i will,be adding the link below in the,description so you should just go,through and,copy and paste the code which i will be,showing you that how you will be doing,in your store,so if i will be refreshing this page,then you will see that,we don't have any kind of marquee effect,right now why because i have removed the,code so now let me show you how you will,be doing that so first of all you need,to go to your dashboard of shopify then,you need to click on customize,so first of all you need to enable your,your announcement bar because in some,cases you may have not enabled this one,and because of which you would not able,to see on the top see that we have some,sections here for example header you,should click over it and on the right,hand side you can see that we have,announcement bar so for example i am,uncheck going to uncheck this and now,you can see that you don't have any,announcement bar on the top but if i am,clicking on,show announcement so in this way it,would be reflecting on the top and one,more thing is that home page only,so,that means if you are interested to show,this specific announcement bar on your,home page otherwise if you are,unchecking this this means that this,would remain on all all the pages of,your store all right then after you need,to add the text which you are interested,to keep on the top so i have added this,text and then after let's save these,changes,so one more thing is that if you are,interested to change the background of,this then you should click on theme,settings and then click on this and then,you can change the color whichever you,are interested in all right,so then finally you need to click on,save so this thing we have we are done,with this right,now we need to click on actions then,click on edit code,and then after you will see some folders,and files so here you can see that we,have few folders click on layout,so uh always you keep in m

in this video I'm gonna be talking about,why you should never be drop shipping,from Aliexpress because it's the worst,business model I've ever seen and I'm,gonna show you kind of how I would do it,if I was drop shipping which I'm not,drop shipping,I'm wholesaling and selling products so,my customers can actually get the,product in at a at a reasonable amount,of time okay so what all these you know,all these young drop shippers are doing,and when I say young I mean these people,these these big drop shippers are,literally 18 to 24 years old and they,really don't have any life experience or,business experience other than you know,drop shipping and influence or marketing,and crap like that because they owned,influencer marketing accounts before and,people are paying them to put products,on them then they realize that they can,sell their own products and the easiest,way to do that is through aliexpress,drop shipping because they don't want to,put up the money to actually start a,real business so with that out of the,way I'm going to show you actually how,to get this done without doing all of,that crap now when your drop shipping,from Aliexpress alright Aliexpress is a,China website if you don't know it,already any product that you see on,Facebook that is promoting some oh my,god you need this type product is,literally from Aliexpress so if you,bought anything from a Facebook ad it's,literally probably from Aliexpress,especially if it was under 50 or 60,bucks it's definitely from Aliexpress so,you're buying a shitty product that the,manufacturers really don't care about,all they care about is selling their $2,products to 18-year olds here in the US,and the UK and around the world we're,trying to make make their ads profitable,on Facebook and and other social,networks alright so what you need to do,to avoid this now when people are,getting their products from Aliexpress,the their customers are waiting two,weeks to get their product,if you think that your customer is going,to buy something else from you,while waiting two weeks to get a shitty,product you are severely mistaken okay,that is not the way that you're gonna be,building a long-term business especially,in today's world now you know if you,were drop shipping from China you know,15 years ago that probably would have,been fine because nobody knew what the,internet was they most people weren't,buying stuff on the internet and all,that kind of stuff so anyway let's get,let's get right into this what I want to,do is I'm gonna go through the process,of what I would do to find a product but,first I want to show you what other,people do these young kids these young,dropshippers are telling you to do what,they tell you to do is go on Facebook,and find a product that's being promoted,or find a product that's being promoted,and add it to the cart so you see more,products in your newsfeed or in your,Instagram newsfeed and then you know,find one that has you know a lot of,shares and a lot of views and then go

all right let's talk about your average,order value all right so average order,value is a critical metric in terms of,being able to buy traffic and profitably,run an e-commerce store right so a o V,average order value is the total number,of revenue you've made from sales,divided by the number of sales you made,in a specific time period which gives,you your average order value right,the higher the aov is the better off you,are the more profit you're making,typically and the better you're able to,buy traffic at higher and higher costs,obviously if you want to scale a,business you're going to need to be able,to acquire more and more expensive,traffic to do that you need to have a,good a avi all right now the problem is,is many many many EECOM stores struggle,with aov either they're selling lower,priced products and you know 10 $20,products and they're aov is you know,around 10 or 20 bucks or potentially,they have a high AOV but their product,cost is also super high and their,acquisition cost is super high so,they're AOV needs to be even higher,right so this is the AOV is a big deal,like you're a o V should actually be,significantly higher than your cost per,acquisition right but how do you get a,good a o v what can you do so let's talk,about a couple really cool ways and easy,ways that you can boost your a o V okay,the very first and the simplest thing,you can do to boost your a o V is simply,to start testing your price elasticity,okay so price elasticity means the range,of prices that you can sell your product,for and there are different impacts they,have on conversion so,just because you're selling your product,and $9.99 doesn't necessarily mean that,that's the best price for it or the,maximum profit for it when you average,everything out so an example we used to,sell a kitchen slicer and it's called a,mandolin it basically was it slices it,dices it chops it has all these,different attachment type things and we,sold that we started selling that at,1995 and then we raised to the 2495 and,then we realized that hey they're still,buying so we kept testing it and we,actually found out that the magic price,point for us was thirty seven dollars,and fifty cents okay,I'm sorry $34.50 excuse me it's a big,difference from nineteen bucks right now,not every product works that way but we,kept raising the price and testing it,and realizing that we were still making,more money still making the same sales,and we are able to test price so simply,by raising your prices you can get a,nice boost to your AOV that's the,easiest way to do it the next thing you,can do besides raising your prices is,offer a bundle okay put things together,sell three or more items two or more,items put you know three products,together four products together even if,they're the same product you let's say,you were selling supplements you could,put three protein bags together and give,them a bundle deal or six protein bags,together or maybe you were making some,kind of a fitness thing you can
