hey what's going on Travis pizza here,welcome to the next case study in,crushing ecommerce in this case study,i'll be talking about collection pages,now we talked about just locked to the,course about how important setting up to,collections are and having the right,related products showing on your sales,pages having everything tagged together,correctly so that you can have these,powerful assets and marketing tools that,do very well with e-commerce stores,there's lots of different ways to go,about promoting your collection page,like you said it's going to be a page,with a certain type of products listed,there so that when one buyer comes in,they see a part they like they should,like the rest of products on that,collection page as well or at least some,of them so that's the whole idea about,what's going on so we can go ahead and,start sending fans that had in Bobby I,just prospects directly to this,collection page it gives them a wide,assortment of what's going on there you,can also find buyers of previous,products ears and send them to the,collection page and show them here's,what else we've got and the different,ways like that to get those people back,into your store and both those are very,effective especially when you start,doing video ads where you can show,multiple products in that one ad and,also the style i'm going to show you,right here where we're actually showing,four different products with a special,technique on getting people to our,collection page as well as getting them,to the individual product page as you,can see we just start us one just a few,days ago two days ago it's saying only,one conversion i had the wrong,conversion pixel in there and so this,morning so we've actually had to take,three for sales but because of this is a,collection page style where they're each,of those were over a hundred dollars if,you i bought three to four shirts and,each of those and that's because of the,ad style we're using here and we're sent,to be with a collection page which,really encourages those larger orders,and larger purchases so here's the ads,that we got going on you know we we have,four separate shirt pictures here each,of them is 1212,pixels kind of like our normal,advertisement would be but we upload all,four of these individual pictures into,one fan page post on the fan page so,let's take a look at it here's the fan,page right here this has got the the,order here the centum directly to the,collection page and this is a Harry,Potter angoor going so the Harry Potter,collection sent to the normal type of,message tag someone you might love this,or something like that and then we have,the individual product and integral,pictures here which we can go in and,after you post them you can edit the,description and link to the individual,product page itself so we're getting an,individual interaction on this on these,shirts as you can see different ones are,reacting differently but each of them,link out to that individual product and,then we also h

in this tutorial we will tell you about,the three options that you can use to,start an e-commerce website there are,many websites which can be used for,opening up a store open your web browser,and type ww big commerce com enter the,name of your store your email address,and a password for your account and,click on the start your free trial today,button in order to create your store you,will need to enter some basic,information about your store such as the,location of your store the product which,is to be sold etc once you are done the,creation of your store will be in,process once it is ready click on the,visit your store button you will land on,the main setup page where you can change,the look and other settings of the store,through the seven steps which will,appear on the page first of all click on,the settings option from here you can,change the name of the store enter the,address and make other changes while you,are in the website tab,right next to the website tab there will,be seven other tabs it is not necessary,to change all your settings but let's,have a look at some of them the language,and date tab allows you to set the time,and date of your region the images tab,allows you to set the image sizes if you,go to the display settings you can,select the number of products that will,appear on the main page or the number of,products per page after you are done,with the settings click on the Save,button which is on the top left corner,of the page and you will be redirected,back to the main page to choose your,stores design click on the third option,from here you can apply different themes,to your website,in order to add a logo from your,computer click on the upload a logo,image from my computer radio button,select the logo image and add it,in order to add a product go back to,your homepage and click on the fourth,option as we have used a free template,some products will already be included,in our store to add a new product first,write the name of the product along with,its skew in order to add description go,to the product description box click on,the picture icon if you want to add a,picture and then return to your home,page next choose the payment procedure,select the payment provider and enter,the relevant information,after you are done go to the homepage,and click on the view store button your,store will open in a new window and from,there you can click on your product the,image loading takes a bit of time but if,you click on the product you will be,able to see the image of the product,along with its description another,similar website is Shopify open your,browser and type in ww sh OPI FY com,enter the information which is asked at,the bottom of the page write the name of,your store along with the email address,and password and then click on the,create your store now button after a few,moments your store will be created to,visit your store click on the take me to,my store button when the new page opens,click on the add your first product,but

hey guys this is loans from filled my,e-commerce calm and in this video I'll,be adding a product to both Shopify and,big commerce and we look at the process,of adding just a single product i'll be,adding a t-shirt and i won't be adding,multiple products and i'll save that for,another video so let's jump right in so,we'll start with Shopify first from,Shopify home they can go to product and,then click Add product and here you can,enter the title description and then,bunch of other settings here so let's,start from the top here and want to type,in t-shirt and then for the description,i'm just going to copy and paste what i,have here and for the image this is the,product image and it can just uh you,know drag in the image right in here,from your desktop and then for the price,I'm just going to enter $29 and you can,also charge taxes on this product or not,and I'll go over taxes in another,tutorial video let's scroll down if you,want to keep the inventory numbers in,here you can do that as well and you can,have you can up shop if I keep track of,the inventory or if you do prefer to do,it manually or you have another method,you can click you can check don't track,inventory and for shipping you can we,enter the weight in here and for the,variant is what this is what we want we,want to add you know different sizes and,colors right for the t-shirt so click,Add variant and it populated with size,for the first one already so I'm just,going to enter s for small and press,enter m4 medium and then elfo large and,then let's click add another option and,for the color i'm going to enter orange,blue and green so one downside with,Shopify is that you don't have cut you,can't have color swatches shown in order,to do that you would have to change the,HTML code or you can download I believe,a plug-in from their marketplace I might,be free might be not I'm not one hundred,percent sure on that one you can we do,it from right here you have to edit the,HTML code as opposed to BigCommerce I,which I'll show you later you can,actually add color swatches or texture,patterns and inside the swatch so as you,can see it already populated with the,price and with the different sizes and,colors in here and so you don't have to,do that and here on the bottom search,engine listing preview so here you can,actually edit how it's going to show,from google search so if you go to,google.com and search for any products,you know this is how it will look like,so for some reason you don't like the,how is showing up by default in here you,can change the title of the product the,description and also how the URL is,being shown you can change that in here,for this video I'm just going to leave,everything as is and let's grow up and,let's click a safe product and let's,click view to take a look at the product,page so here I have the product with my,description here with different sizes,and different colors ok so let's just,see how this process works in,BigCommerce so from the big comments,dashboar

hi everybody Scott Yoder here with,e-commerce marketing 360 talking to,senior marketing executive Bobby shell,and we're just going to review some of,the main ideas that you want to know,about if you're looking into starting an,e-commerce business and developing an,e-commerce website so Bobby let's jump,right in,kind of a big question with this can,anybody get into e-commerce can anybody,do this I'd say yeah I think anyone can,do this one of my first e-commerce,clients he was selling some products out,of his garage and now he's a,multi-million dollar business really,yeah I think with the right work ethic,ecommerce you can definitely do it,and why is that what's making it easier,nowadays well nowadays compared to you,know say like 10 15 years ago where you,had to focus on inbound marketing that,you could not quantify and actually,figure out like in terms of like ROI how,things are working,mailers billboards catalogs catalogs,some of these words are even foreign at,this point to me but building an inbound,strategy when you can just target people,who are looking for a specific product,it's much more effective okay on that,good so I think what a lot of times one,of the things we've seen is that having,a niche is important you can't just go,out and hope to sell shoes against Nike,yeah how do you people develop that,niche how do they find that marketing,space that allows them to be profitable,yeah,I think when it comes to determining,that marketing space one of the big,factors is just remaining relevant in,people's minds and one powerful tool is,retargeting so whenever you're on,e-commerce you know there's a there's a,bubble almost with e-commerce where,there's so much room and then there's so,many competitors so some of the things,we do is we will focus on inbound paid,ads will focus on SEO as well as,retargeting bringing customers back that,are familiar with your brand but I'm,sure something we'll talk about a little,further into this just kind of meeting,together and we will email marketing and,not other areas and we'll come back to,remarketing a bit even to just stick,with us a little bit more in terms of,that the product niche,the importance of that and how you kind,of feel that out what if clients done,that it helped like you mentioned the,guy with the garage what kind of what,kind of thing tends to be successful,with this yeah I think the word niche is,important and I think a lot of times,what it is is people will try to stretch,a little too far so I had a gentleman,once who sold anything in relation to,wheels and tires after the first year we,realized wheels was our best option,we started getting better supplier costs,and then that increased our margin we're,able to create more sales on wheels,where tires the margin was a lot smaller,and it just wasn't profitable for us,long term to go after that but one thing,we can do and I think Apple does well,not to go on a rant but they'll sell you,a computer right and then they get you,with the accessorie

hi guys it's Samuel Larsen here and I,just went through my little archives,here and noticed this one video that I,did for a client critiquing his designs,so I think there's a lot of benefit for,you guys in here as well so you can take,a look I see the same mistakes pretty,much repeated over and over again on the,similar basis and on same layouts,basically so this is just me eight,months earlier just doing a really quick,analysis and seeing these basis for the,first time so enjoy their younger me,share some wisdom and hopefully you are,able to the lender lot alright thanks,hello there let me just do a quick,five-minute analysis maybe we spent one,minute page and go through these,mock-ups that you sent me on cell just,like may look at them from conversion,optimization standpoint but let's see,what we can find here so you want to,complete the optimizer I think like we,could make card a little bit simpler so,we wouldn't have these buttons here for,example then I would love you to deal,with like three most common objections,so basically why buy from skinny free so,something like free worldwide delivery,right here call us anytime at the 1 2 3,etc and possibly some like a third,objection that you get a lot for example,like free returns or if you not happy,you can return it and stuff like this so,that would make it like a little bit of,a more seamless process to convert,customers also would be good to have a,phone number somewhere if you do,actually have 150 k followers icon you,must have like some kind of a phone line,that that people can call if they run,into problems they're not gonna call,into that line very often but it's good,to have there so that's my notes for the,card page on insurance pretty good um,you could remove this even on this,button here because when people go to,the cart it's a conscious decision like,they're not gonna end up there without,are actually wanting to buy so now,you're kind of giving them an easy exit,here um the aircard looks in general it,looks pretty good it's clean it's on,exactly how it should be like it's not,confusing also one thing I would add is,like all orders will be processed in,u.s. dollars or whatever you're,processing them us okay so that's guard,let's move on on okay looks like we have,a product page here and so here I would,love to have more pictures i'm not sure,like what this picture is really doing,here doesn't seem to that much in,general it's probably not a good idea to,have a share buttons here you find,people don't really share it that often,and then it's kind of distracting them,especially when it's this close to the,add to cart button also um in terms of,colors i would like that to cart to,kinda like pop out a bit more since now,it's just um the same color as,everything else so it's like color of,your case hierarchy of colors you would,want the action that you want them to,take to be as easy as possible and stand,out a little bit more so let's see i'm,not sure i didn't read the copy on your,page so
