Getting started | LangShop Help Center

In this video, you will learn how  to create a multilingual store on  ,the Shopify platform with the LangShop  Currency & Translate app in 5 minutes.,As soon as you install LangShop  from the Shopify app store,  ,you need to pick up a plan first that  will help you translate your online store.,In this tutorial, we’re going to install the  app with the LangShop Standard plan since it  ,has an automatic translation feature that will  translate your online store way more faster  ,than if you select a LangShop Free which  does not include an automatic translation  ,feature and you will need to translate your  store manually which is time-consuming and  ,not very convenient if you have a  lot of products in your inventory. ,There are 3 more steps you need to complete  to get started. Step 1 requires you to choose  ,languages from the list into which you  want to translate your online store.,LangShop supports Shopify translation  API, depending on your Shopify plan,  ,you can add up to five different languages to  your online store. However, if you run your  ,store on the Shopify Plus plan, then you can add  up to twenty different languages to your website.  ,To check further details regarding plans and the  # of languages you can add to your online store,  ,please refer to Shopify Help Center  or get in touch with Shopify support.  ,Click next to proceed to the next step.  In the step 2, you can add new currencies.  ,LangShop does not limit the number of currencies  that you can add to your storefront. This step  ,is optional, you can skip it if you don’t need  additional currencies for your Shopify store.  ,Click next. Step 3 displays categories that  will participate in the translation process.  ,By default, LangShop translates  all data in the store,  ,but you can manually uncheck the boxes of those  categories that you prefer not to translate.  ,When you are ready to start, click  next to complete installation.,Welcome to LangShop dashboard. Here,  you can manage or add new languages,  ,edit your content, order professional  translations, use pro translation drivers,  ,customize currency selectors, display  recommendation banners, and much more.  ,There is a progress bar with running  tasks on top of the home page  ,showing percentages and how much time is left  for translations to complete in the background.  ,The time always depends on the amount of data  and the # of languages you add to your store.,LangShop is a partner-friendly app that gives  you full access to app settings at no additional  ,charge while developing a store. For live plans,  LangShop offers 4 subscription plans for everyone  ,who wants to expand their e commerce business.  you can find more details about each plan in  ,our help center or refer to our 24/7 support.  The app charge will be included in your Shopify  ,billing cycle. While LangShop translating your  store, take a quick look at the storefront.  ,You can preview your current theme from  your LangShop admin. On top

International domains | LangShop Help Center

International domains | LangShop Help Center

If you manage a multilingual store with  LangShop on Shopify this video will give  ,you a better understanding of  International domains setup.,Before we start, please pay your attention to the  following alert that Shopify limits international  ,domains feature, and it's not available on Shopify  lite and Shopify basic plans. And if you're using  ,any of these two, you probably won't get this  feature enabled by default in your online store.,If you want to manage multiple domains on Shopify,  ,make sure to check your current plan and refer  to Shopify support for additional details.,Let's check a primary domain setup.  Earlier, I added five additional languages  ,through LangShop to the domain with the url  what2read.store and translated the theme.,When I open the store for  the first time as a customer,  ,I don't see switcher button available  where I can browse the store in another  ,language. This is happening because Shopify  does not add languages to domains automatically.  ,That is why the language button won't show  up any secondary language to customers.  ,And when you browse your store as an admin, or  a store owner, your storefront details won't  ,change and you can't preview additional  languages. Only if you manually type the  ,language prefix in the url you might probably  get a 404 page not found error. Unfortunately,  ,LangShop can't connect languages automatically.  And every time when you add a new language in  ,the app, you need to connect it manually in  the domains section from your Shopify Admin.,If you open LangShop, you should probably get the  alert notification too on your Home page. And the  ,following language links will redirect you to  a single language with the information that the  ,French or Italian or Spanish or any other language  you add to the store is not connected to a domain.  ,And if you click on Shopify domains  or connect languages to domains links  ,which is a bit lower, both links will redirect  you to the Shopify Domains section once again.,Let's check the first situation when you use  only a primary domain and the language prefix  ,for additional languages. So I've got my primary  domain what2read.store and I can see that five  ,languages are not connected to this domain. I'd  like to display all languages from my customers  ,so i'm going to connect them all by checking the  boxes that are right next to the language titles.,You may check only those languages that  you're ready to display for your customers,  ,just make sure to save changes afterward.  ,I will update LangShop Home page to check if all  language is now connected to my primary domain.,So far the main dashboard doesn't  show any alerts, which is great,  ,and you can also check the information about  languages in LangShop Settings, Languages section.,All languages now successfully connected to  what2read.store and the final check-in would  ,be to refresh the store as a customer, and as  a store owner. Now, since language is connected  ,to
