hello everyone christian here and today,i'm going to share with you the top five,things to use if you have a clothing,store in 2022. there has been a few,changes this year and i'm excited to,show you so let's get started,so the first theme that we have is,called broadcast by invisible themes and,this theme will run you 280,now a lot of the themes have increased,if you haven't watched my previous video,a lot of these themes have increased in,pricing and that's because of the os 2.0,that shopify has released which just,opens up the ability for you to add a,lot of different features and a lot of,different customizations to all of your,themes so all the five things that we're,going to be talking about today are,under the os 2.0 so they do have that,higher price point so the first one is,broadcast,broadcast has a couple of really cool,features and uh i would highly suggest,this theme if these features speak to,you and you know for sure that you're,going to use them so one of them being,built-in upsells in the product page so,if we scroll down here and we go to,let's say this product page right here,you'll see that right here within even,above the description of the product it,says it goes with and then it shows you,a different product right here with the,ability for you to just click add and it,adds it to the cart so that's very,powerful not seen,natively on any other theme that i know,of so that right there is actually super,powerful and the way that works and they,show you right here is with the upsell,tags so it's just a tagging system in,the back end where,basically we're tagging this product in,order to show this product so they're,sort of tied together if you go to that,product it will also go to the other,product so,the upsell tags and tagging right here,within the uh product page very very,very powerful um the other thing is the,unique tap content and you will see this,through,again some of the os 2.0,themes where you have now the ability to,include unique information under these,tabs right here so these three tabs,these are all,it could be right now it's not set up,that way but it could be unique,information about that particular,product and nothing else so,let's say that you have a dress and you,want to talk about what the model right,for that particular dress is before,business owners and store owners have to,display all of the models that they use,right within the tab but now you can,just showcase that one right there,within that tab it's very powerful,the other thing is if we go back to the,home page,they do have a lot of different cool,sections in here,and things that look a little bit,different than your typical theme on,shopify but one that caught my attention,was this right here which is sort of a,shop the look,based off of,some of the,same functionality that instagram uses,right so you have this picture that has,multiple products and you have these,little plus signs on top of the picture,and when you click on them the product,on the

5 Shopify Themes We Are Currently Loving For Clothing Stores

All everyone Christian here.,And today,,I want to share with you,the latest themes to use.,If you are a clothing store,and you want to actually,stand out,,also stick around,to the end,for my personal,favorite theme right now,,So after the OWS 2.0 release,,there have been,a lot of new themes showing up,or popping up on the Shopify,theme store.,And the theme developers,are getting better,and better,when it comes,to making them more distinct,and just adding subtle features,and things to make them,look really good,and different from each other.,Because before I would say,,like a lot of these themes,have some,some of the same elements,and some of the same things,,but I feel like now,we're starting to,see a little bit more,wide gamut,of different themes out there,,and that's what we want,to talk about today.,Some of the top five,right now that we're loving,and you should check out,if you are a clothing store,or not a clothing store.,Really,,you want to check out,some really cool,themes right now.,So the first thing that we have,is Stockholm,by code supply code.,A couple of highlights here.,It's a very clean, minimalist,,has some subtle animations,and some unique sections.,Now, I do want to show you,this real quick.,So I'm going to click,on The View Demo Store.,By the way, it's $280,and then a lot of these themes,,like I've mentioned in the past,,they have different theme styles,and all the styles they're for,really is,just to kind of show you,a different look,and feel,of the site of the theme,before you actually,install it on on your store.,But a couple of things here.,These are the,,the unique sections,that I was talking about,the section right here,which just categorizes,your collection,so that Top's sales,,new arrivals and bags,and this kind of,store animations,and it just looks really cool,and nice,really cool,to just kind of navigate,through a section like this.,And they're using it.,And this particular style,on the very top,as is kind of like the hero,probably wouldn't recommend,something like this,for the hero.,But if you want to use a section,further down on your,on your home page,,I would definitely do,something like that.,This is another,sort of animation,that I was talking about,,just like this talk on,just rotating here,on this corner.,It just it just adds,an extra flair, right, to the,to the actual store.,And like I said,,when you hover over certain,things like the products,,you get this subtle,animation with the name,and then a little zoom,right there.,So just subtle things that,make this,theme just really pop for me.,And look at this.,Like when you hover over,the categories, bags, hat tops,,you actually get a picture,in the background,that moves with your cursor.,I've seen that being done,in other websites.,I've never seen it,done here on Shopify.,So that's actually really,,really cool.,We have a review section,popular and look at this,also subtle animation.,When I'm scrolling,,you get some sort,of parallax effect,with the images,that ar

How to update your Shopify theme without losing customizations

How To UPDATE Your Shopify Theme

all right everyone christian here today,i'm going to show you how to keep your,theme up to date super super important,let's get started,so shopify recently released os 2.0 and,with all of that all the themes and the,theme store have been updated to us i'd,say 99 of them have been updated uh,which means that you should definitely,update your theme right now,now,essentially now is the perfect time for,you to update your theme if you haven't,uh there are two ways in which you can,do this um first we're going to do the,old way,it's a little bit more cumbersome,since,actually maybe a few weeks ago a few,months ago they've added the ability to,do this a lot easier but i'm still going,to show you some of some of the other,ways so,shopify and other theme designers,frequently release updated versions of,their themes that they publish on the,theme store so,these updated versions usually include,bug fixes,and a lot of times some new features too,so it's important for you to keep them,up to date on a regular basis what i,would probably recommend is that you,check it,once a month or once every two months,and you just go through this process,make sure that you're,up to date with everything,and just kind of move on,again,bug fixes and new features and then just,the ability to,potentially load your website faster or,all things that you want and your,customers want as well so this is,something that i haven't seen a lot of,people uh necessarily talk about but,it's super important to add to your uh,sort of things that you should do a,maintenance maintenance wise right for,your shopify store because it doesn't,happen automatically so step number one,is to check what theme you're actually,using so do that very simply we just go,to online store and then right here,under themes,it will show you the live theme that,you're using here at the very top so,right now we have venture and then we,have the,version 9.4.1,right here and then if you scroll down a,little bit you'll see your theme library,so these are the other themes that,you've added to your store some of them,could be team throughout,theme trials,or just some older,themes,in there so now we can see that we have,venture and that's the latest version,that we have installed right here now,step number two again this is the sort,of the old way of doing this uh it would,be to go to the theme store and actually,find your theme so we're just gonna do,that really quickly just to kind of show,you what we do in here so we're going to,look for venture,click on that,and then we're going to click on venture,as you can see like venture is not an os,2.0 site let me go back so you can see,it doesn't have the tag for the os 2.0,here so i would recommend not to keep,venture and move on to something a,little bit better but for the purpose of,this tutorial we're going to do this and,then what we want to do here is log in,and then let me grab this real quick,copy,paste,okay so now that you're logged in then,uh this depending on the act

hey everyone jan here codingwithyan.com,so today we have the first episode of,our sell your own theme series and all,of you have been asking tons of great,questions so please keep doing so this,project can only be as good as the,community is and you guys are amazing so,appreciate everyone watching and now,it's time for some answers so let's dive,right in,all right liam then thanks so much for,taking the time today as you know we're,here to answer some of the most burning,questions that people have,are you feeling good about it as well,i'm feeling great jan thanks for having,me here um,obviously a huge fan of the channel and,uh yeah any opportunity i can have to to,share the good word of the shopify theme,store um is is my absolute pleasure um,yeah then maybe as an entry point to our,conversation one of the most burning,topics or one of the most requested,topics was like what is the best way to,create a theme which kind of ties into,two subcategories the concept then the,actual development like workflows tools,and everything,so why don't we talk about the concept,first and,what is the thing or what can we give,people on the way in order to come up,with an amazing concept should we talk,about that,yeah i think that's a great place to,start,so i think the the first thing to really,think about is to really dive into how,merchants and how buyers will interact,with a theme,and and also consider how it's different,to design for a marketplace versus,designing for an individual client,so with an individual client you're very,commonly going to be requesting or being,asked for specific settings whereas in,theme store,these settings are,a little bit more generic um they're not,requested specifically by any merchants,um so merchants may be encountering uh,these features and functionality for the,first time um so i'd really you know,before even writing a line of code um,you know think about the the buyer,journey think about the merchant journey,and how,you know all of these people will,interact with the theme with the online,store editor,and you know think about know you're not,really designing just a storefront,for a buyer to,pick a product and take it to the cart,and check out you're also,essentially designing a ui that,merchants will be using to,bring their store to life,and and ideally with the the minimal,amount of friction possible,okay yeah i think that's a very good,point because as you know many merchants,don't have a strong technical background,then the settings have to be very,straightforward i mean this all ties to,usability i think that's what we are,trying to trying to get across here,um yeah so would you have any tips or,maybe how could someone approach that,would you recommend maybe using tools,like or like design tools to come up,with the visual concept first or would,you just be diving head first and,writing lines of code how would you,approach that yeah so i think there's a,few different methods um but i would,definitely advise,um investing

How to hide certain tags on the front end of your website Shopify 2019

How To Create The Perfect Facebook Ad

you know what's going on guys least,yellow with neighbour and marketer I'm,super excited to be bringing you a video,today about how to create a awesome,Facebook ad that gets results,clicks leads customers so let's dive,into it so really quick talking about,the format so I'm gonna be sticking,today with a single image essentially,but video is the way to go for sure,Facebook is pushing videos into the,newsfeed right now you're gonna get tons,of a gauge but engagement what the,videos try out the slideshows I've had a,really good success with slideshows so,you can just put like five or ten images,together in a slideshow and they're,gonna push that content like a video I,typically don't use a collection what I,will looking at it looks pretty cool,actually,carousel I think that's really good for,when your testimonials have a few,testimonials together retail that's good,and if you want to get creative have,like a image that extends along the,three or four Carol so images I think,that's good a test and try out just,looks kind of cool and can separate you,from all the other content out there so,scrolling down talking about some of the,imagery definitely use something that's,gonna be bright you know bright,background if you can i caching choose,something that's gonna be relevant avoid,small details if you can so you don't,want to have a whole lot of wording no,paragraphs in there and nothing like,that,even though facebook really wouldn't,allow that in the first place by,statistically happy women looking at the,camera had the best results so whether,you're in a service industry or is a,product a woman that's happy and looking,at the camera,statistically will get the best results,and then you can also have like a call,to action as you can see here and a call,to action is in there learn more even,though when they click on it nothing,happens but you could try that out,people will click on it thinking it's a,button children and pets always seem to,do well things that are funny nod but,ultimately just be different a different,into can while keeping irrelevant that's,gonna be something to aim for for sure,so talk about the aesthetics of the,Facebook ad just the profile pic in the,page name so profile pic you know keep,it simple we'll start with a simple,profile pic right background,subconsciously it's gonna grab the,attention of the people that are,scrolling down their feed so use colors,that when you can reds and yellows work,great I know you aren't always able to,do that but just a little tip there the,page name keep it short keep it relevant,name brand marketer targeting more,careers you know what I want to put any,accreditation or anything like that I'll,just keep it short and sweet so look,it's gonna look good in the feed and,then let's talk about the ad copy itself,so once you got those aesthetics squared,away you know ad copy is super important,it's not as important as the image I've,heard some stats that say that you know,75 to 90 percent what happens boi
