in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's free theme craft into a dark,tech theme this is a really simple,transformation that anyone can do i'm,going to walk you through each of my,settings and i have also created a free,cheat sheet for you which you can,download for free through our private,facebook group,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,so first things first let's take a quick,look at what craft looks like before,now let's get into transforming this,theme,alright so first things first you will,need to install craft so from your,shopify dashboard click online store,scroll to where you can see free themes,and click explore free themes,from there select craft,and add the theme to your library,i'm going to walk you through all my,settings in this video and i will be,popping up the settings on the side like,this for easy viewing and as i mentioned,i've also created a cheat sheet,containing all the settings on one page,which i've posted in our private,facebook group,okay with the theme installed click,customize and let's get started,first we're going to work on colors so,click theme settings,colors and follow along with me,once you get to accent one gradient if,you click on the circle you will be,presented with several presets to choose,from,the one i use for this design is this,one right here,by now you will have entered all of your,colors so you can now select them from,here to speed up the process,all right let's save our work and let's,move on to the next section,the next section we are working on is,the checkout which you can find at the,bottom here,from the drop down at the top select,checkout so you can see your changes,where it says form fields we are going,to switch it from light to transparent,save your work and we are going to move,on to typography,from the drop down select home page,then select typography,we are going to use the font pop-ins so,go ahead and start typing that in and,when it appears you can go ahead and,click on it,and then we're going to change this from,regular to bold,we are going to change the body text to,poppins as well,and then select medium,the last thing to do here is to change,the heading font size scale up to 125,percent,save your work and we are finished here,now it's time to move on to the home,page settings,when it comes to the sections you can,really add or remove whatever you'd like,in order to best suit your store but,there are a few settings that i've,changed on the homepage that i'm going,to show you the first thing is the logo,click on header,upload your logo,change the desktop position to middle,left,and then change the size to 160 px,as for the sections you can set these up,however you want do what works best for,your products and what you sell i filled,most of the default sections in i,removed the blog pos

in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's newest free theme refresh into,a simple easy to set up one product,Dropship store,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products Drop,Shipping Shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,first things first we need to install,refresh to do that click online store,themes,and then scroll down to the bottom where,it says explore free themes,chocolate,select refresh,and click add to theme Library,once it's finished installing click,customize,the first thing we're going to do is,adjust the colors so click on theme,settings,colors,and follow along with me,just a quick note with these gradients,I'm choosing colors that match my,product I chose the orangey gradient,because of the color on the sleeves and,the purple because of the product photos,but feel free to choose a different,gradient that better matches your,product,oh,thank you,foreign,go ahead and save your work I know this,looks a little strange right now but we,will adjust everything when we work on,the sections by the way if you guys want,a cheat sheet with screenshots of my,settings colors the text I used as well,as the AliExpress link to the product I,feature in this theme join our private,Facebook group I'll be posting it there,you can find the link in our description,box,all right up next we are going to adjust,the checkout colors so from the drop,down select checkout,click theme settings,checkout,the first thing I'm going to do is,Select my logo you can't see it right,now because it's white but as soon as we,change the background color you will,next I'm going to change the background,color,change the form fields from white to,transparent,change this background color,the accent color,and the button color,save your work and head back to the home,page,for the home page I won't add any text,here yet all we're going to do right now,is set up the sections starting at the,top with the announcement bar I decided,to go with the other greeting I set up,so I'm going to select accent 2.,next I'm going to click on header,I'm going to change the color scheme to,background one,select my logo,and increase the width to 250 PX,then Under menu I'm going to remove the,menu this is a one product store so we,don't need any Links at the top,last but not least deselect enable,sticky header no need to have the Top,Bar following us around since we don't,have any menu links,moving on to the slideshow I'm going to,remove the third slideshow block because,I only need two,next change the desktop content position,to Middle right I won't be uploading the,slideshow image just yet but the image,size I used was 1920x620,by default I have a featured collection,section here which I'm going to delete,your sections might look a little,different than mine but not to worry,keep following along and I'll show you,which ones to keep,what I want here instead is a featu

hey klaus here with another quick tip,episode of the e-commerce coffee break,podcast i just have received an email,from the shopify team informing me that,they have released three online shopping,2.0 themes so these are free and they're,called crave sense and craft and in this,video i want to dive in and have a look,at them and see how they work also from,the back end so let's dive into it,so here we have the first theme which is,called crave and it's great for food and,drink related shops,fits any catalog size quick setup visual,storytelling,so on the shopify store,you will find this theme here and let's,have a look at their demo store how it,looks from the front and just to get an,idea so see it's very clean so we have a,notification bar here we have a very,narrow,navigation bar very narrow header which,i always like so this brings the main,content higher up into the screen,it gives you a little bit of space here,for your unique selling proposition so,that looks good,they support a slideshow here which i'm,not the biggest fan of um for conversion,rate optimization reasons,and then you have a uh very good,overview here of different collections,of products,you have yours email sign up box down,here,and then obviously you have your footer,here so obviously you can change all the,coloring and all of this but overall,looks very clean i like the header is,very narrow let's see how look how crave,looks on a mobile device also here the,usual burger menu if i click this up,then i have my social media icons down,here,i have a search,feature down there,and,fits quite nicely so yeah so this is,basically targeting on everyone who runs,a food related business and,is looking for a theme that sort of,plays into that topic let's go into the,next one it's the sense theme,this is more for health and beauty,related stores,works either for more for smaller,catalogs so it's probably not working,with a huge catalog if you have a lot of,skus a lot of products in your store,um energizing theme featuring standard,product detail layouts so let's have a,look how this looks so again we'll open,the demo store have a look there and go,a little bit deeper and look at the,product detail page,also here i'm starting with a hello bar,notification bar up here where you can,put in your promos then the logo here is,in the middle um again not i'm a big fan,of that i rather would like to have the,logo on the left hand side and the,search bar more in the middle,but overall the navigational area the,header area is relatively narrow you see,they don't opt for a card here they opt,for a back here which might work better,for,the user audience or for the audience,overall,here some trust building elements you,can put in some reviews some,testimonials,again here a little bit more of benefits,for the brand and down in the header now,we have to sign up for your newsletter,in the footer area which is usually the,best place to have it now let's go into,a product detail page and see how that,looks
