How to add Product Media to Themes

hi there,my name is liam griffin and i'm a,developer community manager here at,shopify,today we're going to be looking at how,to output video 3d models and images on,product pages,using the recently launched product,media feature for shopify themes,so this feature is going to be crucial,for you if you're working with clients,who want to display rich media on their,product pages,as well as implementing this on your own,custom theme builds,to enhance their functionality in this,video we'll be looking at the new liquid,attribute,product.media which outputs these,different types of rich media,associated with a product as well as the,new media liquid filters,which allow us to render these rich,media types correctly on the browser so,the techniques,outlined in this video are also,described in a blog post on our partner,blog,which we've linked in the description,below so if you like you can follow,along with that,so before we dive into the actual code,of the tutorial i just wanted to spend,a few minutes looking at how your,clients can very easily,attach and upload rich media different,media types to,each of their products and so on the,admin if we move to,uh products and we find one of our,products that we,want to add media to you can see here,that um there is a section for media,this,uh was previously called images and,we've now extended that to,include a range of different types of,uh media so you can still upload images,at this area and but you can also add,mp4s for video,you can add 3d model files the file,that's accepted,is glb files and there will actually,be some linked test example glb files,that you can use for your own testing,and what's also very cool too,is that you can attach or you can link,to,youtube videos as well so you can add,media that's not,actually hosted on shopify or uploaded,but through youtube too so that's very,helpful if your,clients might have videos on youtube so,once,you have uploaded your videos or you've,linked to,external videos or you've added 3d model,files,and these newer media types won't,actually be,rendered on the product pages unless,the theme that you're using has been,updated,to support product media so specifically,what this entails is that you will want,your theme to be looping over,product.media rather than over,product.images which is the previous way,that themes,would have been able to render images,on a product page so as an example the,current theme,on this development store that i've,created,and that i'm testing out this product,that has my,product images on and this is using the,free simple theme,a version of which that hasn't been,updated to,support product media now even if i have,different media types added to this,uh product if i go to preview it,on the live theme and i go into the,product page,i'm only seeing the image appearing here,be so,since the theme doesn't support product,media,the media types like the videos and the,3d models are not being rendered,on the front end and if i take a look at,

what's up YouTube I'm back with another,Shopify app integration video this one,is going to be all about wish list King,wish list King is a popular wish list,app for Shopify that is also quite,developer friendly using wish list King,you can easily add a wish list page to,your Shopify store as well as buttons,onto various templates to add or remove,products to and from a wish list,installation is pretty simple and you'll,get a good result out of the box with,this app but the great thing from a,developer's perspective is that all the,customization for the buttons and the,wish list is done in a couple of,templating files based on Shopify liquid,that allows us to make HTML level edits,so in this video we're going to cover,the initial installation and look at how,we can make more precise edits using,HTML CSS and Shopify liquid let's jump,straight into the computer and get,started,all right so I'm inside the computer now,and I'm inside my development store,called sexy shoe brand in the store I,have no apps installed currently and I,think this is a fresh install of day boo,not quite sure I haven't logged into the,store for a while but basically we're,starting from a bit of a blank slate so,what I'm going to do is I'm going to,click over here click duplicate because,whenever I make theme changes I always,do it in a separate theme and I'm just,going to rename this day boo wish list,King hit rename on that if you're,wondering why I created a duplicate,theme I definitely check out my themed,development series that was earlier on,this YouTube channel very important that,we do this especially when we make,larger changes alright the next step is,to actually go to our apps page and,install the app so this is pretty simple,we click to visit the Shopify,app store and then we search for,wishlist King,should come up first result after the,ads it's the one by app mate and we just,click here to add the app we grant the,app some permissions and then here we,can request a free set up or we can,continue with our own setup so I'm gonna,hit continue and it's gonna ask me where,do I want to install wishlist King so,what this is going to do is put some,files into whichever theme I specify so,a lot of time people will install it on,the live theme again we've talked about,this in my theme development series it's,better to do new development on a,duplicate theme that way you don't mess,up the original theme not that this,would mess it up but you want to keep a,clean copy until you're ready to port,over those changes so that's why we're,using a separate theme and I'm gonna,install it on this preview theme not the,live theme I'll hit continue,and it'll tell me all the files that,will get created so we're going to,create two template files and that's,going to be holding our wish list page,and our shared wish list page there's,going to be a snippet that's going to be,created there's going to be an asset,file that holds our CSS in the form of s,CSS it's going to update theme data an

Walmart Shopify : Order Section - CedCommerce

hello and welcome to said Commerce today,I would be briefing you on sales order,and failed orders in walnut Shopify,integration so let's begin open up the,dashboard of your app further navigate,to orders and click on sales order here,you can find the details of all your,warm in orders having purchase order ID,an respective Shopify order name,respective SK use Shopify order ID and,their status so in order to fetch new,orders from walnut click on fetch you,all met orders button this button,performs the fetch action immediately,although at regular intervals of cron,keeps running to update the orders and,their status,let us now check out the functionality,for recently acknowledged orders so,select the filter from drop-down when,the particular order is fetched from,walnut it remains an acknowledge and,state post a shipment procedures it,converts to completed State now in order,to view detail of order click on the eye,icon further if you want to cancel it or,to click on this cross button while you,click a cancel button you will be asked,to confirm the cancellation so let's,check this order out and Shopify store,in order to do that just click on the,respective order name and you will be,redirected now from here you can perform,the shipment in order to do so click on,fulfil item button further you will be,asked to enter tracking number and,shipping carrier from the drop down if,it's missing just select other,and also place the tracking URL and,finally click fulfill item button so,here you can see the confirmation,message coming back to app and now,clicking on sync Shopify shipment button,will sync the status of order between,Shopify store and the app doing so would,also display a successful notification,at the top in green color and now we can,track the order from here for doing so,just place the order ID to which you,need to check the status here is the,completed state of the order that we,acknowledge then fulfilled if you want,to process refund of the order for some,reason you can do so by clicking on this,icon now in the pop-up select the order,you want to process refund for add your,refund comments and choose the refund,reason and finally click refund button,so you would be able to see a successful,notification on the top and green color,and if you want you can also check the,status by checking it with respective,order ID the button synchronized warm,that orders will sync the orders with it,entails and status on the warm it,marketplace now let's move on to section,2 that is failed orders,click on orders further choose failed,orders so here is the log of all your,orders that have failed due to some,reason you can check the order ivn the,respective reason due to which it failed,and yes kindly make a note that if the,seller is able to rectify the issue in,reasonable time then the order will get,created or else one of the list it has,late order so by this we have reached,the end of briefing tour hope that had,held you if you need any assistance,connect b
