What is Branding? How To Build A Successful Brand In 6 Steps
if you can't define what your business,is and what it does within two sentences, chances are your brand needs some work, hey I'm said I've been an entrepreneur, since I was 13 when I began building, websites for eSports teams I've created, several businesses over the years and, today I'm gonna show you how to build a,brand if you're new to the channel hit, that subscribe button and the little, bell icon as I'll be adding more videos, with helpful tips to start and grow your, business, okay now let's talk brand a brand isn't,just a recognizable name and logo that, distinguishes you in a crowded market,Martina Mayer who's worked for companies, like Adobe Apple and Microsoft stays, that your brand isn't what you say it is,it's what they your customers say it is,essentially brand is your reputation and,how you'll be perceived as a business I,like to break down building a brand into,a six part checklist researching our, target audience in our competitors, picking our focus and business, personality choosing our business name, writing our slogan choosing the look and, feel of our brand and designing our logo,to help illustrate these steps I'll be,creating a golf brand for this video why, golf well because I love golf, even if golf doesn't love me back I'll,also share a template with each step, that will help you develop your own, brand I'll be sure to link that in the, description down below alright let's get, started our first step before we start, making any decision about our brand is,going to be researching our businesses, current market specifically who our, potential customers and competitors are, let's start doing that by jumping into,Google from here I'll type in golf, apparel market analysis this should help, get me a sense of who the big, competitors are in this specific space, now unfortunately a lot of the deeper, analysis is hidden behind a paywall so,for our audience we're gonna go with,Facebook audience insights from here,I'll type in golf as an interest and for, this example I'll keep USA as my target, audience as this is likely where it'd be,selling my product okay so we can see, here that roughly 58 percent of people, with golf as an interest identify as men,and that our primary age group is,between 25 and 34 years old we can also, see that the majority of our audience is,married I'll encourage you to revisit, your own audience as you build up your, brand to get a better sense of who your, actual audience is next let's open up a,few of our competitors web pages and, social media pages from here I'll start, pulling screenshots and noting down, color, schemes from these websites I'll also go,through their social media and start, identifying posts with high engagement,so post with a lot of comments and likes, now the idea here isn't that we want to,mimic what these brands are doing but we,want to start identifying some, commonalities and use that as a,foundation to build our own brand some, other things we could do is browse, subreddits and review sites that are, related to our customers

Shopify Store Review 🔓Unlocking This Drop Shipping Stores Potential!
Shopify Store Review 🔓Unlocking This Drop Shipping Stores Potential!
what's up guys Anton here from dropship, lifestyle and two weeks ago I posted our, most recent Shopify store review and, just like always I asked people to,comment below if they wanted me to,review their store so we got a bunch of,good comments a bunch of good stores, honestly I went I checked the whole, bunch of them out some of them I saw, that they had a lot of potential some of,them I honestly didn't see much, potential in but there still are a lot, more like honestly this does take time,so it's not something I'm gonna do every, day but there are a lot more that I want,to review so be sure to subscribe to,this channel if you're not subscribed, yet definitely also like this video if,you get value by the end of it and make, sure you hit that notification bell so,every time I do take the time to make, one of these videos you can get alerted, when you log into YouTube so the one, that I'm gonna do for this week is from,Valentina, that's her her YouTube username and the, store is G Valentina dot store so I'm,gonna go ahead and pull this up and then, just like I've done in the previous,Store review videos I'm gonna give it my,critique and then I'm also going to show, some stores that I think this could be,modeled after so let's go ahead and, share that now alright so I have the, site pulled up here and the first thing,I'll say is I'm probably gonna say the, name wrong as I'm sure a lot of people, that see it for the first time do I,think it's guerrilla qui Lia so Greeley, eval and Tina quick comment on domain, names so the URL is G Valentina dot, store so you know quick we Lea Valentina, dot store what I would say is even if,you were just gonna use the G Valentina, definitely try to get calm you know you, always want a dot-com for an e-commerce,store,I'm just easier to remember honestly, when people go and try to start typing, your URL in it's it's it's easier so I,would try to switch that up as far as,the site some other things like at first, glance that just hit my eye it's funny, because I noticed this last week I think,on the story or sorry two weeks ago on,the store review which is I'm in the,United States right now I'm in Austin,Texas and again it's showing me prices,in Canadian dollars by default so I'm,not sure if with this this this app if,you could change it to work off,geo-targeting so it could know that I'm,in the States and then show prices in,USD and if not you know I would, definitely recommend going into your,Google and,it's account and seeing where the, majority of your visitors are coming, from because if they are in the United,States if that's where you're running, ads getting people you know you want, that by default you want the prices in,USD now building on that I'm assuming, this site is drop shipping from from, over low or from all the Express and, that the prices are using some kind of,like well they're being marked up into,Canadian dollars because then when I,switch it to USD you know this price is,like forty to ninety five so that makes, sense, but then like the

Gleanly UX Repository - 15 minute demo
Gleanly UX Repository - 15 minute demo
hi there i'm dan founder and creator of,gleanly,i want to spend a few minutes telling, you about gleanly and how it might help, your organization,as well as give you a brief demo of a,real repository, gleal is a hub for all of your user and, business research, primarily it's been designed with ux,research and product teams in mind, however it can be used across many teams, such as product design, marketing sales customer support and, business analytics,to create a shared understanding of what, you know what decisions you're making, and why gleanly does not create any data,we don't offer analytic tools instead it,is a hub for what you discover from, other tools and activities we're,completely agnostic on the tools that, you use,so you can continue to create and, analyze data,by whatever means greenlee is built, around the concept of atomic research, this simple but powerful process breaks, down knowledge into four main elements, experiments this is what we did to,discover the knowledge,it may not be as formal as an experiment, perhaps it's data gleaned from google, analytics or pulled from social media, but experiments are the source for your, facts, facts are what we learnt a good fact is,a quote, observation or statistic but it's never, our opinion, insights are our opinion of why the, facts the way they are,we can derive multiple insights from a,single fact, and we can combine lots of facts from, across our repository to create an,insight, finally recommendations are what we,think we should do with this knowledge, once again we might have lots of ideas,of what we might do,about a single insight and we may bring, several insights to form,a single recommendation most, recommendations are testable, which then creates new experiments the, cycle continues, this is the secret to creating a,scalable knowledge repository, which both retains the what and the why, certain decisions were made, and importantly what happened after,so let's see this working in the real, world the first thing you'll notice is a,navigation in gleanly at the top here, follows our atomic process,on experiments we can see all the, studies we have done,in fact we can search all the evidence, across all experiments, the insights tab is where we can search, and browse all of our insights, and understand what we have learnt from, our research, the recommendations tab allows us to see,all of the decisions we have made or,waiting to be made i will show you all,of those sections in more detail but, let's start with the experiments,at the top here we can filter all of our, experiments by type, date they were created and custom, filters, these four filters platform client, opportunity and team,or all custom filters that i have, created for my repository, you may would choose whatever makes, sense to your organization,i can also search by keyword,so these are all the experiments that i,have that are titled or tagged as,shipping,i'll pick this one here and at the top i,can see,all the background to this experiment, what were we trying to learn, how

How to Use Elementor's Nav Menu Widget to Design WordPress Custom Menus
How to Use Elementor's Nav Menu Widget to Design WordPress Custom Menus
in this video I'm going to show you how,to set up the nav menu widget so I have, the nav menu right here and the first, choice that I can see is the choice of,which menu to display so I'll choose, this one and these are menus that are, created on WordPress and they are drawn, into this widget, next I can choose horizontal vertical, and drop-down I'll show you examples of,the other layouts in a little while and,I can choose to align it to any side or,spread it throughout the column so let's,align it to the right pointer this is,the mark that appears on hover and when, the item is active so this example shows, underline let's show another example, which is framed and you can play around, with the different pointers each pointer, has a set of animations this is the fade, one and you can also choose a different, one like grow let's stick to fade I also, have a submenu indicator this it's lit,the little angle icon right here and I,can choose to show a plus and any of the, other submenu and indicators next we,have the mobile drop-down setting now if,I want the mobile menu to be displayed,on tablet devices and lower,I choose tablet and this way when I,switch to tablet I see the mobile menu, however if I choose mobile devices the, lower it means the tablet will still, show the regular desktop menu and only,if I go to the mobile view then I will, see the mobile menu so let's switch back,to tablet and tablet breakpoint so now, when I open the menu it opens in the, same column but what if I want it to,show in the full width this is why I,have the full width option and when I,switch it on the menu items take, the whole screen and are on top of the, section below it if I close the menu it,is still situated in the right column,so for the menu I can choose the, alignment of the menu items either to,center or side and have the toggle, butter button either show the burger or,already display the menu items,I can also show the toggle alignment to,the left center or right next I want to,show you the styling options so I'll,switch back to desktop view and go to,the style tab I can change the menu item, style for normal hover and active state,to understand what each state means I'll,change the active state to green for the, text color and pointer color now you see, that the home button that I'm currently,on is green while the other links are, blue we can also set the typography, style and change the pointer width to,make the pointer here more wide and I,can change the horizontal padding and, this changes the width of the pointer, and to explain how it works if I reduce, this to zero and then increase the space, between the items I can see that the, pointer width it is exactly the same, width as the text I can also change the, vertical padding which affects the, distance between the pointer and the, text so if I reduce it you see that the, pointer is really close to the text next,we have the drop down menu now this menu, effects both the sub menu and the mobile, menu so to see it in action I'll switch,to tablet

Using Podcasting to Grow Your eCommerce Business
Using Podcasting to Grow Your eCommerce Business
in this episode of the business of,e-commerce I talked with Rob Greenlee, the VP and head of partnerships at Fox,Nest dot-com and spreaker.com this is a,business of e-commerce episode 11,welcome to the business of e-commerce,the podcast that helps economist, retailers start launch and grow the,e-commerce business I'm your host,Charles Pulaski I'm here today with Rob,Greenlee the VP and head of partnerships,at Vox Ness calm and Spreaker calm Rob,is a former EVP slash CTO at podcast one, calm and the cup and the former content, and business manager at podcasts slash,TV at Microsoft live Xbox Live and zone,so hey Rob how you doing today it's,great to be here Charles thanks for the,the invitation to come and join you on,your show yeah great to have you so want,to talk to you a bit about today but um,I know you have a lot of background in,podcasting obviously so want to talk, about some podcasting and how that kind,of fit into the business plan of an,e-commerce retailer and you know how, that would help them out and how that, could benefit in the in the land of,e-commerce well I think that there's a,couple ways of looking at and I I think, really any kind of e-commerce business, can can have some level of benefit from, having a podcast that supports their, products and services there's a couple, different ways you can look at it you,can look at it from almost like a,customer support kind of show to a show, talking and featuring various products,or services that are offered on your, your you know in your business to to,build kind of it's almost like a,testimonials type of type of basis and,so there's a variety of ways and if,you're a podcaster you know there's also, ways that you can tap into e-commerce to,around you know running advertising in,your show just you know really go sign,up for an affiliate program and do like, host reads and I don't you,you may not be familiar of you know with, what a host Rita is but but a host read,is basically a testimonial around a,product or service that that you the, podcaster maybe get a commission on on,the sale and especially for new, podcasters if your goal is to run, advertising in your show getting getting,an affiliate program at like a place, like commission Junction's it's actually,at cj comm it's a great place to go find,a product or service that you're a fan,of or become a fan of one of them and, start mentioning that product and that, service in your podcast get your, audience used to you doing that and also,it hones your skill and being able to,promote a product or service on your, podcast because it may be if it's your, goal if it's your monetization model you, need to get in the groove of doing it,because a lot of advertisers look for, that in in the show before they'll run,an advertisement so it's the it's the, chicken or the egg kind of thing you, have to have it in there before, sometimes they'll they'll run an ad,campaign so getting started early is a,pretty good idea but I think from a from,an e-commerce site perspective I think

Tips For Selling Products At Your First Vendor Event | Craft Fairs, Art Shows, Festivals, etc.
Tips For Selling Products At Your First Vendor Event | Craft Fairs, Art Shows, Festivals, etc.
hey guys today we're gonna be talking, about vending tips for small businesses,so it doesn't matter if you saw art food, clothing jewelry all these tips will, apply for all of you so I have a crystal, business called be serene and I make, jewelry so I've ended at a lot of,different types of events in the past, two years so I've ended at farmers, markets, crystal fairs club events like in the, club at night with large young people a,lot of fun college campuses a whole, bunch of different events so my,experience with those have been very, different but there are a lot of common, themes with all of those so the first, one is how is your set up have you, thought about your setup do you want it,to be a walk-in experience and by that I,mean if it's an outdoor event and you, have a canopy and it has walls on it do,you want people to have to walk into, your physical space to see what you're,selling it can be a pretty magical, experience or a really fun experience, the only downside I would say for this,is you might be a little bit, intimidating to shy people so I consider, myself shy and sometimes I just want to,look for from afar to see what somebody,is selling and if I feel obligated to,walk inside a physical space I may just, continue walking past it so you kind of,have to decide you know do you want to,invest in a full experience do you want, just one table I only use one table it's,clear what I'm selling from the front so,that's my second tip is you want your, logo and your business name very visible,so for me that's on my tablecloth I have,my crystal logo and my business name so,when people walk by they know exactly, what it is I'm selling other things you,can invest in our banners but those can,be really expensive,so if you have a canopy a banner hangs, behind you behind your table can be as,colorful or not as you want and some, people have some pop-up banners those, are big, they're expensive it's kind of it's,permanent right it's not a paper poster, you have to have a design and everything, that you want on it it's printed on it,you're spending a lot of money you're,going to use it a lot so you want your, brand name visible for people to see so,for the walking experience that's,something that you can achieve usually, for outdoor events like farmer's markets, but if you're in an indoor venue you, can't really have a walk-in space you, have to fit in with the vibe of everyone, else around you so that's why I like to,stick to just one table because it's,kind of a consistent setup wherever I go,I switch it up slightly depending on the, type of venue but if you're bending at,different types of events you're gonna, have to be prepared to switch up your, setup this is the most important tip I,have for you and it took me about it,took me 2 years to realize this which is,really why I wanted to make this video, there are a lot of mistakes that I've,made bending that I want you to avoid, the biggest tip is to collect emails, when you vent when someone told me if,Instagram crashed tomorrow would yo
