How to Make a Single Sleeve Wallet - The Burg Wallet Build

all right good evening everybody thanks,for joining us,uh today we're going to be putting,together the berg,minimalist wallet we have a couple,different options here with the bird,this is the,single sleeve and the double sleeve this,is made from a harness leather this is,made from,a this is the rose colored patera with a,the darker brown,patera leather both options are,available at the dose rose designs dot,my shopify website but we're going to go,through a little bit of a,a longer build i did a quick version of,this a little while back but we're going,to go through the longer build so you,guys can see how,we put this uh this wallet together,to get us started here i have a scratch,piece of leather,the folks at uh my local candy shop i,guess about a month or so ago,i was in over the over the weekend doing,some,some looking for some new leather and,they gave me this honestly kind of a,little bit of a mystery piece i,gravitated towards it really pretty,quickly i like the color i liked how,clean the back was,you know nice uh pretty pretty firm and,temper good for for wallet making,and they said that they only had a,couple of hides of it that tandy had,sent to them,uh so uh the guy knowing that that i,come in kind of randomly you know,on the weekend every now and again uh,knows that i do leather work and said,hey let me cut you off a big square so,he he actually gave me a really good,size piece this,just happens to be what's left of it,we're gonna go ahead and i'm gonna start,with uh just tracing around the edge of,a simple,uh card stock template this is this,piece is a little bit bigger,um this piece is a little bit bigger,than uh uh the this piece here just in,terms of thickness,i make them a little bit of varying,sizes because honestly people like to,stuff a lot of things in their wallet,so i i like to give that as a little,it's a little bit of an option just a,little bit of give but this was the,piece,uh ultimately uh a bigger piece that i,used to kind of trim,or make the outside of my template with,and honestly we leave,these on here because what we can do,here if you notice with these two,see the we can we make the uh the angles,at a different direction,so people can um almost not necessarily,customize but then kind of choose which,one they they like better,so we do leave that open and then we,make that adjustment later so we're,gonna go ahead,we're gonna get started with the tracing,around,our template here excuse the the puppy,shaking in the background,we went for our evening walk but i think,she's just not done yet in terms of,energy getting out,so she'll be she'll be walking around a,bit but let me let me grab my piece and,then,we'll get back to that all right now,that we have that traced out,i'm just going to grab our ruler here,and grab our exacto knife,and we're going to go ahead and make,some cuts uh i'm usually i i,like to try to conserve leather,especially when i don't know,excuse me if i'm going to get any back,of this particular kind

hey guys granny from dropship dr.com,today you today we're gonna talk about a,question a lot of people ask and that is,when will I be able to quit my job and,work on my drop shipping business,full-time let's dive in,all right so before we get started I,just want to let everybody know that,might be watching and doesn't yet know,how to drop ship that they can head over,to dropship DNA under comm that a you,forward slash free and check out our,free training there so to drive straight,into the topic people ask how long is it,gonna take before I can quit my job and,start working online full-time well I,mean it's not really easy to answer this,question because a lot of people have,different levels of comfort when it,comes to building websites and all those,sorts of things but what I do find is,what people tend to overthink how long,they take how long it's going to take,them to to build the store and to get,everything up and running and they just,worry about so many of the little,details that they never really didn't,get there in the end because they're too,worried about well how am I going to,call the supplier how am I gonna lock,the supplier and how am I gonna upload,the products so what theme do I use what,are the best apps all these sorts of,things that cloud people's minds about,how to finish a drop shipping drop,shipping business from start to finish,so look the the best thing I can say,about you know getting to the end result,is actually starting in the first place,and then working these things out as you,go as you get to them so I mean if you,worry about all these things before you,even begin you're probably not going to,start so you'll never get there in the,end is there is the long answer for that,but when it comes to you know how long,it's going to take for you to actually,be able to live off your drop shipping,store it's really just a simple equation,most of the drop shipping stores that we,build we've built in a roughly a 30,percent margin for most of our products,so you know it's fairly simple to work,out once you've got your niche and you,know okay my my products they're gonna,roughly be selling for about $300 I've,got a thirty thirty percent margin so,I'm roughly making about what nine,ninety dollars off each each product so,alright well then we just start working,backwards you look at you how much,you're earning now so if you're on a,wage of about a thousand dollars then,you need to make roughly what eleven,twelve sales every week to cover that so,it's just a matter of working out how,much you earn now,if you've got your niche you can work,out roughly what your products are going,to go for and then you can,reverse-engineer it from there so like I,said if you're on about a thousand,dollars a week,your niche is selling for about $300 30%,margin you're getting about $90 per sale,you need to be doing around about 11 to,212 sales every week that's just,obviously if your wages there's a few,overheads that go into running and drop,shipping bus
