Hey friends, Andrew here hope you're well.
In today's video, I'm going to show you ,one of my favorite Shopify apps to completely
customize and transform your store in only about ,10 to 15 minutes from scratch so without wasting
time let's jump straight onto my laptop here and ,i'll show you step by step how to build a
beautifully custom shopify store with this ,no code page builder app incredibly important
considering that your store represents your brand ,and your vision and by the way i'll be giving
away this exact store i've built in this video ,to a subscriber more details at the end of
this video so to build out a custom shopify ,store today the very first thing you want to
do is go on to the shopify app store actual ,first step is to get shopify if you haven't yet
already and if you haven't yet already i'll drop ,a link to an extended free trial down below if
you want to follow along with this video now ,once you have your shopify store go on to the app
store and then this is where we're going to get a ,crucial tool and this app is going to allow us
to build and design a shopify store without all ,the custom coding and it's called gem pages right
here so gem pages they're known as this no code ,page builder on shopify and it's really useful
in building a high converting store without code ,it's essentially a drag and drop builder that
myself and the team have used to design custom ,shopify sales pages and the plan of attack today
is to create a custom one product store simply by ,using the gem pages drag and drop tools right
here i've spent some time before this video ,creating the brand and all the assets like product
renders brand name and whatnot i'm calling it to ,charge because we all need to charge our devices
that's terrible i know i have all the assets to ,go in my folder right here as you can see and so
what we're going to do now is build out our page ,with gem pages using all the files that i've
created here so head on to the dashboard and then ,click create new from here is click more types and
you can see that you're able to create a bunch of ,different pages based on what you want to go for
so a landing page a home page a product page etc ,and so let's just click for example home page so
there's a whole bunch of home page templates here ,there's also a whole bunch of landing pages the
theory here is i'm going to build a one product ,store so i'm going to use a landing page
only and i found the one that i want to use ,and it's bluetooth headphones you can click
preview to preview the template first or ,you can just click start editing so i'm going
to click start editing i'm going to give the ,the page name a name and then click header and
footer i want this off only because we're creating ,a one product store and we don't want a header and
footer at the bottom really quickly though you can ,use a completely blank canvas but if you want to
get up and running really fas
Let's move on to the first section of Glossier theme shopify
Reviewing The New Shopify Free Themes
Reviewing The New Shopify Free Themes
if you weren't already convinced that, shopify is one of the best companies in,the world then after today hopefully, you'll be a little more convinced so in,today's video what we're gonna do is go,through all of the new shopify updated, themes that they just dropped so this is,literally brand new stuff they just, released three new themes that you can,use and the great thing about these, themes is not only how customizable they, are but the fact that they are free so,you can literally download these themes,on your ecommerce store today and not,pay a single penny so i got the themes, pulled up right here so that we don't,have to waste any time now you may have, seen in a previous video of mine from a,few months ago actually when they first, released this new theme right here, called don now don is a theme that i,still use on a couple of my stores i,even use it for the art branch of my,company netsphere and it's extremely, clean extremely fast and pretty, customizable so let me show you real, quick what it actually looks like on a,store as you can see it's very very, simple very clean and you can use tabs, here so you don't have to download any, website building apps or anything you,can just create everything through the, theme i also want to take this, opportunity to say that we officially, released the netsphere membership it's,less than a dollar a day and by signing,up you'll be getting our full e-commerce,course for free and be able to join our, private live streams you can also access, all the past live streams because we've,been recording all of them in one of,them for example i actually brought in,one of my friends and interviewed her on,how she did over a million dollars with, her store in only two months which is,pretty insane so you can check that out,in the description but the don theme was,the first theme that they released as a,part of their os 2.0 update now if,you're just a regular shopify store, owner or like a drop shipper then that, doesn't really mean a lot to you but if,you're a developer or some sort of,programmer then this is really important,to know the os 2.0 apparently is a big, upgrade to their theme architecture it,separates each app extension into app, blocks which allows you to have more, flexible content on your store and, that's only one of the upgrades that you,can see with the os 2.0 update but i'm,not going to cover that here because a,lot of you guys aren't developers and i,don't want to bore you to death but yeah, the dawn theme is amazing but these, three new ones are the ones that we're,gonna go through today so the first one,is craft the second one is crave and the, third one is called sense so let's just,go one by one and review each one to see,if they would fit your store and just, out of curiosity so the first one is,called craft now this one is a refined, theme that celebrates craftsmanship, apparently it's great for home and, garden stores really any catalog size, stores and a quick setup with visual, storytelling so this is a home goods, sto

Coffee with Charli and Glossier: Creating design system tools for non-designers
welcome to coffee with charlie this is a,series presented by figma where i get to,sit down with the design systems leads, from all different types of teams and, companies we take a peek behind the, scenes and, inside their figma files to learn how,the design systems work and what, challenges they've faced in,putting them into place i'm your host, charlie marie i am the creative director,at covert kit,and i also make a lot of videos about, design over on my own youtube channel, charlie marietv today i sat down and had,a coffee with rami majuji who is,a product design lead at glossier which,is incidentally one of my favorite, brands, ramy's been on the team at glossier for,two years he's originally from, montreal and now living in new york and,he spent his whole career working in,in tech or attack adjacent things rami,is definitely,a figma power user he uses the features,in some really interesting ways so,there's a lot of cool parts to this, design system, that i got to see and that i'm excited,to show you so,let's get into it well welcome rowie, excited to have you here and excited to,dig in and,see some of glossier's design system a,huge fan of the brand,um huge fan of many of the products and,so it's fun to yeah, get a peek behind the scenes of this, other side of a brand that i like so,much, yeah tell us a little bit about design, systems and the team at glossier, who's working on it yeah so the product, design team,at the moment is two two product, designers myself and,one other design lead and as far as as,far as design systems go we don't have a,dedicated, person that you know who works on them,full-time,um i i work on it whenever i can and, whenever, whenever it makes sense but most of our, time is spent working on,e-commerce features um and upcoming, products or launches and things like, that so,design systems is really this kind of uh,almost like site projects that we get,we get to work on whenever we have a,chance um,but i do think it's important for us to,carve out some time,to just kind of create great tools for,us to move, move quicker and just maintain some kind,of,consistency across across all the, different things that we do,yeah that's always the thing it's a,trade-off right because it takes time, out of,getting the work done to like stop and,put things into the system, and you know finesse things there but,it's like time well spent, because it can help you move faster in,the future yeah especially when you have,a project where, you need to move like very quickly and,you don't maybe have time to kind of,dig dig into old files for you know for,the latest, latest designer yeah so it's it just, kind of,takes a lot of the tedium out of uh out,of kind of future work and unless you, gives you more time to work on,the stuff that matters so aside from it,being a really small team just two, designers working on the system like you, know whenever you can,in between projects what other, challenges have you faced in in building, the system and, have you tackled them yeah i mean the,

How to Design Simple Emails | Learn from Glossier
How to Design Simple Emails | Learn from Glossier
Andriy:
How to design ,simple emails and what can you learn
from a 1.8 Billion Dollar company?,Andriy: ,Hi, this is Andriy, the founder of Flowium.
An email marketing agency as well as this ,YouTube channel. In this video I would like
to show you how to design simple emails and ,what can we learn from company like Glossier?
According to The Business Of Fashion, ,Glossier's worth nowadays is 1.8 Billion
Dollars and I want to show you their emails. ,This is one of the example of Glossier's
emails. It looks simple, doesn't it? ,And actually this is very powerful because it
does the job of telling the person not about ,the product, but the products available and spark
curiosity for them to click and go to the website ,and either learn more or purchase. The goal of
the email is to sell or to spark interest. But ,the biggest goal is for them to take action and
click, because in the email you, unfortunately, ,cannot sell. They cannot buy inside of the
emails, they have to go to the website.,Andriy:
So this is one of the ,examples of their emails. Here's another
one, again, same structure, logo, title, ,here is an image, some text and call to action.
Very basic, very easy to do and I'll show you ,how to do it, how to design the inside of the
Klaviyo and you can use the same technique in any ,other software. And this is the last one, these
three examples are probably the most complicated ,email they send. This email has more return
in investment than a heavily designed email.,Andriy:
Why? Because ,in the heavily designed email, you need to pull
your designer, you need to pull your copywriter, ,you need to set it up, you need to make
sure everything is tested. And at the end, ,it might perform the same. Actually in one
company we are testing right now is AB testing, ,the long form, heavily designed
email versus something like this.,Andriy:
And we don't have the results yet, I will announce ,it later. But my assumption is that there would be
almost no result, but they will save a lot of time ,for their team, who is currently investing a lot
of energy and resources to build those emails. So ,let's start and try to recreate the same email
inside of Klaviyo. Okay, so let's open the Klaviyo ,account. This is our company account, so let's go
to email templates and start from scratch. Create ,template, they have a lot of team templates,
which you might use, but I personally like to ,start from scratch, so let's do it. So here we
got my templates, import basic. So let's start ,from basic and one column, a test template. So
let's do test template and let's start designing.,Andriy:
So here's a ,structure. So we need a logo, then we need
the title, then we need the hero image, ,then we again need the text and at the bottom
we will need, this is actually optional, but ,a lot of people do it in the header. And by the
way, I have another video about the five mistakes, ,I believe, or three mistakes about email d

Shopify Themes from Template Monster - Watch Me INSTALL a Theme!
Shopify Themes from Template Monster - Watch Me INSTALL a Theme!
hey this is ryan from web eminence and,in this video i'm going to show you an,option for finding Shopify design themes, that you probably didn't even know, existed,Shopify is a fast growing e-commerce,platform that hosts over 300,000 stores,at the moment most new store owners, browse the Shopify theme store to find a,design for their store and there are, some great themes there I can actually, link to another video I created that, highlights some of their themes but what, many people don't realize is that, template monster one of the Internet's,largest sources for web design templates, actually sells Shopify themes template, monster actually reached out to me and, asked if I would cover their Shopify, themes in a review video so here's my,honest review of purchasing and, installing a Shopify theme from template, monster now I'm on the template monster, homepage and as you can see they have a,ton of themes in different categories, like WordPress themes joomla templates,PrestaShop themes i'm going to go under, the e-commerce template category and, click on Shopify themes you can see, today at the time of this video and they, have 251 themes I think on the Shopify, theme store there's under 100 themes so,obviously you're getting a big selection,by choosing or browsing themes from, template monster so here's a look at,some of their themes you can view them,by category here on the left and then, you can click on any of these themes and, view a live demo after browsing some of,their themes for a while I chose this, one called handbag boutique like some of,the features on the homepage this image, here on a transparent parallax, background is pretty cool at the top you,can see there's this drop-down menu that, can be hidden they have some featured, products another parallax image at the, bottom with a newsletter so a lot of,this can be customized in Shopify most,of their themes are $139 for Shopify at,least I'm going to go ahead and purchase, this by clicking buy now and you'll see,on the Left they do have a bunch of,add-ons you can purchase, like installation or color changes you,can purchase some of the image files to,go with the theme I'm going to just, purchase the single site license for,$139 so I went through the ordering, process it was pretty simple to enter, some information and then I did a PayPal,payment took me back to this page where,it says please keep this page open we,may give you a call to confirm your, order so I'm just going to pause the, video and wait I assume they do this for, security reasons okay someone from, template monster did call me to verify,my name and the fact that I had, purchased something on template monster, and then I was able to verify my email, address and then I was able to go back,to my account and go to the downloads, page and that takes me here where I can, download the Shopify theme it looks like, there's documentation here which I'm,going to take a look at first and that, just takes me to Shopify comm and, information on installing a Shopify, theme so in o

Drive Revenue With Video Production - Katie Parkes from Shopify
Drive Revenue With Video Production - Katie Parkes from Shopify
Katie: Thanks everyone for joining!,Video is, you know, my one true love
and so I'm very excited to geek out, with, fellow video lovers and chat,
uh, all things, video marketing!,Two things, two other, I think
key things to know about me that, haven't been talked about from
Diana is that I'm a pretty big nerd.,Hopefully a bunch of you are as well.,I'm currently playing a mountain
door fighter character named,Barb and my Dungeons and
dragons campaign with my family.,We play weekly or sometimes twice a week.,And if you ever need or want a
friend for RuPaul's Drag Race, trivia night, please invite me.,That's another thing that I became
obsessed with over the pandemic.,I think it was a world that I
wanted to live in, as opposed to the, world we were currently living in.,I'm sure lots of you felt that
way with the comfort of other, shows and television too.,Anyway, let's get started.,So really I'm here to chat
about video marketing.,There's lots of different ways to do
video marketing, but ultimately it is,grounded in digital strategy, sometimes
physical, depending what IRL spaces you,can integrate your video strategy into.,There is really designed to leverage
the power of video to attract,,engage and convert your audience
into prospects and customers.,I really like to think of it as video
content marketing, because businesses, are increasingly using video in every
part of the marketing funnel to reach, those audiences in the customer journey.,A lot of marketers in the past have
kind of tended to default to using, video for purely commercial purposes.,That can sometimes have little, or like,
no direct return on investment, or have, seen it as a social only play, but I'm
here to tell you that the opportunity,is much greater than that, and that
the word convertion here is key because, that's where the revenue comes in.,Video can definitely be used to raise
awareness, create engagement and drive, sales, both for B2C and B2B brands.,Some like analogy I kind of like to
think about is that it's like a couple,of tablespoons of digital marketing,
a few tablespoons of social media,,but it's really this like full cup
of traditional content marketing,,but in a much more exciting format.,Some of these stats I
found really interesting.,I'm not sure if any of you
follow Wistia, or use Wistia,,it's a video marketing platform.,We do at Shopify and have for
the past about five years.,They recently released their
state of video report for 2022,and, some of the takeaways in
here I found really interesting.,The first one in particular
is that since 2020, we've seen,an increase in consumption in
video, just across the board.,And so video is no longer
like a nice to have.,It's something that is a critical part
of a successful marketing strategy.,And then last year, this one was
fascinating to me but actually makes a,lot of sense considering our circumstances
with COVID, kind of consumption of video, outpaced, the actual content created.,So people are just watching more
and it's ideall

How To Design Your ONLINE STORE From Scratch (Shopify Tutorial)
How To Design Your ONLINE STORE From Scratch (Shopify Tutorial)
great design is invisible yet it,influences your actions to go down,a certain path to reach a specific goal, whether you're designing an online store,or just getting started in this video,i'll be showing you how to effectively, design your ecommerce store, using the same processes and best, practices successful designers follow, when creating aesthetically beautiful, and functional shopify stores,my name is stefan and for the last seven, plus years i've been designing,e-commerce experiences,on shopify working with industry-leading,brands,such as nestle canada unilever global as,well as local small businesses, making a huge impact the truth is,designing an experience, can be a never-ending circle of ideas, and tasks without structure, designing your online store can feel, like you're stuck in the most, complicated maze with no,exit in sight that's why i strongly, recommend defining an mvp first it,stands for, minimal viable product and to break it,down further it's the least amount of,work that needs to be done,in order to first launch your shopify, store collect feedback, and then iterate on improvements for, your online store based off that, feedback, don't feel bad or discouraged to launch, your first store with the bare minimum,if you look at a store like,nike.com nike had a very bare-bones,store,and slowly started making improvements, based off of customer feedback to what,is now an industry-leading brand, and shopping experience i've used a tool, called way back time machine,to look into older versions of websites, you can easily check out any company's,past, website history which helps you gain, perspective and insight,so don't compare your day one to another, brand's,third year in business once you engrave, the term mvp into your mind,i want to go over a few principles of,modern e-commerce design, first is trust trust is hard to earn, but by adding elements like a contact, page for support inquiries or a visible, return policy, will help heavily reduce purchase, hesitation also, leaving the powered by shopify link in,the bottom of your footer, can help build trust with customers who,are familiar with purchasing products or,services,on a reputable platform second is visual, appeal, your customers can't physically hold or,feel the product they're interested in,buying,so this means they heavily rely on,strong visual appeal to persuade their, purchasing decision, having strong product photography that, easily portrays, and communicates the value of a product,or service is a must, you'll notice a company like apple does, this very well with their products, you can see how the apple watch features, different users from different, demographics, and quickly portrays how their product, provides those customers value,a simple yet effective color scheme can, help persuade an action you want a,customer to take,if you put a green button beside a red, button, typically you'll find users tend to,click the green button more, because the color green is associated, with the action go,while the color red would u

Urgent Shopify Update - This Will Be Massive
Urgent Shopify Update - This Will Be Massive
shopify does it again folks in today's,video we're going to be covering the, latest shopify update which literally it,feels like every day these guys are, dropping a new update so we're probably, going to be making these videos daily at,this rate now this update though is,actually super important and i'm super, hyped for it so the update here by susan, wojcicki whatever i don't know how to,say her name she's the ceo of youtube, the platform that you all watch my,videos on unless you're not subscribed, which you should subscribe right now,i'll give you like a second, all right anyways so they just announced, today a partnership with shopify in,which creators can now connect their, stores to youtube and tag products in,their videos and live streams this is,going to be a massive massive change,i've seen something like this done, already for some other print on demand, solutions but never with shopify so this, basically opens up the world of,e-commerce to creators on youtube so,really genius move on shopify's part, obviously because now creator brands are, going to have so much more power and are, going to be able to feature their, products in the content that they make, without having to run extra promotions, and stuff like that so let's read a,little bit more about this because we've,been talking about this in the tier 2,discord chat for netsphere here but this,is the first time that i'm actually, reading into it i thought i'd do it with, you guys so that you can see the live, reaction here but let's read about it,here so every day people come to youtube,to shop this includes me self-proclaimed,sports fanatics i use youtube to hear, from players experts and my fellow fans, and decide which new hat or jerseys the, next fun purchase to help me represent,my team we know that creators and, viewers have a unique relationship and,it's this trust between them that helps, inform what viewers ultimately buy in,fact according to a study we ran in,partnership with publicist and talkshop,89 of viewers agree that youtube, creators give recommendations they can, trust so it's important that everything, that we're working on in youtube, shopping is in support of ensuring a,seamless viewer and creator experience, just this year we've made live events, from brazil's biggest soccer tournament, paulie stout to youtube's second annual, beauty festival to coachella completely, shoppable for viewers we've also, reimagined product launches hosting the, first ever shopping on shorts challenge, with glossier to exclusively launch, their number one pencil eyeliner so,apparently this will be something, available for youtube shorts as well, which blows my mind because youtube, shorts is an amazing organic strategy, that you can use for your brand it's,similar to tick tock similar to,instagram reels so now you'll be able to,recycle that content across multiple, platforms and be able to tag your, products in your videos insane and we've,expanded access to shopping to even more, creators and added more types of,products that
