hello everyone and welcome back to,future highlights on pizza tv channel my,name is inisha and today i'm going to,show you how to create custom presets,for your website using getothem,custom presets will allow you to have,unlimited number of styles and,variations so let me show you how it's,done to manage your getter presets go to,wordpress dashboard then gecko get to,customizer,in the customizer you will see that,there are two presets installed by,default,get the light and gekko dart,currently our default preset is the,light one but we can easily switch to,the dart,publish it,and now our entire website,is going to use the dark preset,built-in presets are fine but there is a,small issue with them because,if you come back to the customizer,you can see that we don't really have an,option to edit any of the of the,theme,configurations so why is that because,only custom presets can be modified so,in order to do that let's create a,custom preset,first of all let's choose the base for,our new preset,so i'm going to switch to get the light,click on duplicate,give it a nice name,like,tv,light,and then save it now all of these,options are available available for me,to change,so i'm going to do that off camera and,when i come back you will see my new,preset alright i'm back with couple of,presets,so,right now i have pips of tv brown pixel,tv blue and pixel tv dark red,so let's change to pizza tv blue and see,what will happen,publish,are you sure you want to set it as,default yes i'm sure,and now,my entire site changed this preset,cool isn't it,and if i have a woocommerce or third,party plugin,they will also follow,this new style,my blog posts will be styled as well,and of,course as a community,let's switch,to pipsotv brown,save it,as the default,let's check our third parties,let's check classifieds,and finally,let's check,the dark red,publish,set as default,refresh the page,and you see how awesome is that,even the third party follows,follow the,press of change,let's see our blogs,our woocommerce,page,for community,you may ask yourself what is the purpose,of having all of these presets while,only one can be used on the front end of,the site well that's a good question,so let me give you answer to that,every single user on your website can,use a different preset,so,joseph dunmer can select to choose this,one,and jerry brown for example can choose,to use the other one,let me show you how to set that up,go back to your wordpress dashboard,navigate to deco,but this time go to settings,and here in user preferences,allow user,to select preferred theme,and,select custom presets,use these presets,and save changes,after this every user will have an,option,to,change the preset by going to settings,and then,choosing the preferred color theme let's,say,this user wants to use pipsotv brown,the change is,automatic and now all the time joseph,denver will be using the brown,preset,here i have jerry brown,let's go back to settings,and let's say,jerry wants to use,blue team,

shopify 2.0 has completely changed the,way that filtering works,we now have a brand new filters section,under the navigation in the shopify,dashboard we can finally filter by price,we can filter by product options like,size without having to tag products with,the size or the price as we had to do,previously on the other hand we are,losing tag based filtering and i know,that's a big deal for many of you,especially if you have a large store,your entire,catalog may have been organized around,tags and now you have to rethink your,whole system it's maybe even a deal,breaker for you with upgrading to,shopify 2.0 but don't worry i'm going to,give you some tips on how you can,transition from the old tag based,filtering system to the new one in,general in this video i'll quickly,discuss the differences between the old,filtering system and the new one in,shopify 2.0 then i'll move on to kind of,a tutorial format i'll teach you,everything about setting up filters and,i'll show you lots of examples first i'm,going to show you how to set up basic,filters like size and price then i'll,show you how to create your own custom,filters using fields my example will be,filtering by fabric and you'll be able,to filter by cotton wool or polyester,and you can apply this knowledge to,whatever it is that you sell it's going,to be the same concept i'll also briefly,talk about color filters and why this is,the most difficult kind of filter to set,up and finally i'll discuss filtering,apps there are a couple of situations,when,filtering apps might be the best,solution for your store for example if,you still really need filtering by tag,and you also want filtering by price and,other advanced filters right then you,might need to use an app but first let's,talk about the difference between the,old filters and the new ones so finally,filters are now a built-in part of,shopify instead of being a feature of a,theme,that's very important difference this is,the reason why,the whole system has changed filtering,in shopify used to be done inside of the,theme some themes had filters and some,did not,so if you wanted filters firstly you had,to get a theme that actually offered,that feature and what you would do is,you tag your products and then you set,up the filters inside the theme,customizer not inside the shopify,dashboard but inside the theme right and,this was very inconvenient because every,theme had a different way of setting,them up you had to read the instructions,for that particular theme and then you,had to name your tags accordingly right,so,usually with underscores or dashes or,some specific format so that those,filters got grouped and they would show,up in the correct way this was bad for a,few reasons firstly it's confusing there,were many times when a client asked me,to help with a bug when really it was,just a matter of naming the filters,correctly it was also time consuming,because you had to manually tag all of,your products or you had to use some,kind of bulk editin

Fastest Shopify Theme Yet Conversio

hey what's going on entrepreneurs so i,know i post this on october 1st,is now almost the end of the month and,convergio has got a ton of updates when,we launched it it was,0.1.0 now we're on 0.1.7,that's the latest update it's going to,actually be going to be coming out uh,actually on friday i believe today is,what the almost the 30th,yeah tomorrow's the 30th so tomorrow the,update is going to be,0.1.7 so let's do a speed test,on the theme uh as it is now i believe,when we posted it uh when we were,first launched it was around 2.6 seconds,so we're going to do a a new look at,what the theme looks like right now,and we've added quite a lot you know,we've got a,nice mega menu we've got a wish list app,we've got a currency converter,we've got this awesome fancy chat the,slider now has some pretty cool effects,uh we had a little bit more depth uh,with that nice shadow,around the mega menu and as you can tell,the menu itself has some animated,effects as well,um you know we've added quite a lot,scroll to top we finally have,uh which automatically adjusts with the,height did you see that,it adjusts with the height we've got uh,verified review,options uh for testimonials we're still,working on this feature,um this is the development version so,you know you're gonna see more features,on here than our actual production,version,but you you're all able to easily go,here and see what future updates are,going to look like,we also have a custom pages option so,you can actually build out your pages,the way you want them,all these custom sections are on here,you know right on here you can add,anything you want,uh we gotta fix the spacing on that,which is easily changed,through the theme editor every aspect of,this theme you can adjust the spacing,the size you know how it's laid out on,the page and everything's perfect,um exactly how you need it we also have,a,an faq uh page that works beautifully,now,um portfolio i don't know why this is,here this is another custom page,so let's go to a product page,so we've added quite a lot to this this,theme since 0.1.1 now we now have,product swatches so let me actually go,to a product swatch so,we should have a swatch option somewhere,else i think that might be it,not entirely certain um yeah,mom yeah all right so we don't have a,color here for that product right here,we have a currently viewing,we have you're only 80 away we have,custom swatch badges i mean,custom truss badges and a nice uh,better faq accordion uh style,product description similar same concept,as the faq page but we have a,accordion style description with icons,and uh the sticky had the car so so many,bugs have been,fixed on here it's insane so we've done,a lot but let's go and test the speed,shall we all right so here we go here,so gt metrics i'm going to refresh so,you guys can see that,all right paste it analyze it let's see,what the speed is on here,now i told you guys i wouldn't be,editing this video what you see is what,you get,this is good you're goin
