from crown themes,and in this video tutorial i want to,show you how to get started with our,brand new local theme,here i've just installed the theme,and i want to,go and customize it so this is what you,see when you,download our theme,and,start to work with it,first of all i want to take you a bit,through the theme settings,we have some general,settings for font families,some options for base size in case you,want to decrease or increase your phone,size also based on the fonts that you're,using,some options for line height,buttons font high what,weight,and also a dedicated area for changing,the menu size,and the font,height,second you have the color options,this theme as you can see is very,versatile you can change a lot of colors,the entire skin color scheme can be,changed you have,separate colors for,header,you have,separate colors for the body,as you can see and you have separate,colors for the cards now the cards,are,all these,boxed sections or blocks which have,their own color scheme,and,something that you might want to take,into consideration is that all the cards,can be,overwritten in terms of colors,except the product cards,so these are,default,default cards default colors,for example here you can see that these,are already,designed in a different way with,different colors and lastly we have the,footer,which,has a,new color set,in the layout,you can change the vertical space,between sections again this is also a,base vertical space because the theme,will change it based on different fonts,screen sizes,and the horizontal space between,elements in multi columns layout such as,featured collections,promotion cards and everywhere where you,have a multi-column layout,borders you can play with the border,with a card border,radius for example let's say i want to,make a,no radius and,really big,width,i'm changing this,also for the buttons you can change the,radius and for the forms you can change,the radius and the width of these are,the three,border settings,again for custom cards you will be able,to,override the border as you can see here,and completely hide it via a new setting,now on to the,product cards the product cards,will,affect the layout of any product grid so,for this,so you can see this better let's go to,the collections page template,so here we could see,all the cards uh,so we can play with the media aspect,ratio whether to be natural as you,upload it or square,or tall,you can change the text alignment,you can change the title size if you,have,long product,titles you can choose to show the second,media on hover,as you can see okay and then at the end,you can play with custom product badges,and of course first,the regular badges which are sold out,and,discount which you can change to be,either as a percentage or a text and,change its color,okay,then you have a few unique badges so,you can set them up like,this you have three different unique,badges you first write the text and then,the tag and then the color which will be,used,so here

I've been working on my dams for about,13 and a half years and I wrote my book,three years ago after working on it for,about 10 years so and the company Blue,Chair food is about three and a half,years old now when I started selling my,jams I was actually managing a cafe and,I was making them at home and I was just,kind of selling them out of the cafe but,it was great because I got to ease into,it gradually when I first started it was,just me and now I have four full-time,staff selling at farmer's markets has,been a really key way of connecting with,our public initially I was in one market,then we were up to about five markets at,the peak and now we're just doing the,sort of busiest most profitable most fun,ones the last 24 months have seen a huge,change in our business I would say even,in the past six months our production,has gone way up because we started,selling to williams-sonoma and william,sonoma is a huge national chain that,carries only the highest and food,products but they have 300 locations and,we are in over half their locations we,are going to be making about 30,000 jars,give or take a year for them and we've,already started so actually these,tomatoes are to them so it's just been,an astronomical change in our business,I have meetings about once a week with,the bookkeeping employee her name is,Jamie and it's basically to discuss what,kind of where we are it's mainly cash,flow wise because she's also the one who,pays our bills and we kind of figure out,together what should get paid when and,things like that my job at Blue Cheer,fruit is to do everything that happens,outside of the kitchen so that Rachel,can spend as much time as possible in,the kitchen once a week reach and I get,together to go over the accounts and we,use that opportunity to pull up any,reports that we may need we want to stay,on top of money that we owe and money,that we can expect to come in from time,to time rachel has a special request a,particular report or data that she wants,to see usually whether or not a,particular sales outlet is doing well or,if it means more resources and zero,allows us to use the numbers we've,inputted to work for us and to see the,big picture Shopify provides a really,clean interface for both our shoppers,and for us as administrators of our,online store with Shopify were able to,track our inventory we make over 50 jam,flavors a year and there's no way we,could store that information in our,heads so with Shopify we have really,precise and accurate inventory levels we,login you see our orders for the day and,within that same system were able to,fulfill them package them print a,shipping label,I mean every detail is something we,built from scratch from the branding,website too I mean my cookbook,everything is just like had to start,from zero so no pun intended I have to,be honest I feel with zero we've only,scratched the surface of what we can do,but already it's helped us dramatically,just in terms of having a complete,picture so in any g

what is up guys and welcome back to,another brand new video today this is my,second video on my ecom journey now,today i'm going to be doing some product,research i'm going to be showing you how,i find the winning products that are,doing really well on my stores i'm going,to give you five examples as well i did,some research earlier and i'm going to,give you guys five for free winning,products you can test on your websites,as well now i will be talking a lot,about google ads in this video because,that is obviously my forte but you can,definitely use and test these products,on other ad platforms as well you know,such as facebook tick tock you know,being etc yeah without further ado i'm,not going to ramble on too much this,video you're going to keep it nice and,concise let's go okay guys first up is a,product that caught my eye straight away,i presume because of the bright colored,green of what's inside that container,but these are basically herb um,preservers i guess you could call them,or any other sort of fresh food you,could put in one of these tubes and it,will obviously keep it fresh for longer,by the looks of it you would simply just,fill up fill up the bottom here with,some water and it will keep your food,fresh for longer now you're probably,thinking this sort of product doesn't,get many searches on google et cetera,but this is the thing i'm going to share,with you today i'm going to show you how,you can bring a very niche product like,this into a much bigger market and i do,this all the time and it is such an,effective way of bringing unknown,products to you know to mass market and,it will just grab people's attention,from the get-go so if we hop over to,google keyword planner here i'm just,going to show you so for example herb,preserver,if i can uh spell that right you can see,we're doing the usa here it only has 480,searches a month obviously that's not a,lot um for a product if you want to,scale it you know past you know 10 sales,a day or something like that but this is,where i mentioned earlier about bringing,this to a mass market uh audience so,rather than just sort of basing it,around the herd preserver you'd want to,sell this in the entire kitchen range so,if we go,uh,food storage uh kitchen,container,cannot type to save my life um and,you'll see here the amount of search,volume that is in this market here so,food storage alone 165 000,searches a month that's just that's just,incredible and there are so many more,examples down here like airtight,containers and you've got obviously,general food containers there,now you are probably thinking that if,someone's searching food storage or you,know a food storage container they're,not necessarily going to be interested,in this however when a product looks,good it's priced well and is something,that fits into the right market this,product definitely fits into this market,here it will grab attention people will,click out of interest and if your,product page and your landing page is,good eno

brother and I found this place, 0.5,star motel
it was completely overgrown that we,decided to turn into an urban farm and
eco village to build community grow food,and leave the planet better.,So, the produce situation in a lot of
Atlanta, there are a lot of farms rural,farms, yeah when we got started there
weren't that many urban farms and the,urban population is huge so growing food
in the city where it's accessible to the,residents of the city was key.
Technically the USDA is classified this,area, Polar Rock — Lakewood heights as a food
desert. A general definition of a food,desert is not being able to have access
to fresh locally grown food within a few,miles. Eating locally grown healthy food
right off the vine,pulled right out of the ground is
important because it's chock full of,nutrients and so when we engage in a
local food system it's just better for,our planet in our body and our overall
well-being.,The thing that drew me to Urban Sprout
is that there's a vision here and,there's a lot of love here a lot of
people don't even realize that our food,is distributed by our zip code and so
you know that's that's really pivotal,when you're talking about controlling a
food system and you know food equity. Hey,guys come on in some I'll tell you guys

with their Fork they come and support,their local farmers it's important for
us to keep growing and thriving that way,and see someone smile on their face

It's amazing how high the years have,changed this man come back you'll take
the property and turn it something this,productive you know and try to educate
people in and help teach I think that's,really amazing. Well while I was homeless
you know due to him he got me productive,now and if the person really know me and
could see this here now, they would see a big difference. We want people,to come together no matter their race
their backgrounds just so that we can,learn from each other and thrive on this
planet instead of struggle to survive and,one of the biggest aspects that I really
like to leave people with is let's,become leavers on this planet and not
takers and to add value to the planet to,the community to ourselves and to our
future generations because that's what,we're really doing it for to leave the
place better than when we found it.
