what's up design family and welcome to,another video on today's episode we'll,be going through the fit design ultimate,guide on how to create your own tech,pack I'll be going through the seven key,main components of what to include in,your tech pack just a little asterisk I,will be going through how to make these,components because each component would,need its own video this video would be,an hour long and I'll reserve that for,future videos but I'll just be going,through what you need to include to make,sure that your tech pack is watertight,and you're including all the information,that you're going to need I'll hope you,guys are ready this is going to be a,really really informative video welcome,to fit design TV on this channel we'll,explore what it takes to make it as an,active wear fashion brand whilst,providing tips tricks and actionable,steps towards starting your own product,line whether an entrepreneur look at the,star your own brand or just someone,interested in fitness fashion there's,something for you here,so let's start off by describing what a,tack packets without going too much into,detail a tech pack is a construction,document of sorts that tells a supplier,or factory how to make a specific,garment it includes key information that,a factor you would need and that's the,key information we're gonna go over in,this episode number one you'll need to,include a visual mock-up this is a,fashion illustration of sorts and it's,meant to portray the aesthetic look of,the design it doesn't have to be very,technical but it just has to show where,certain seams are located what how the,garment is constructed overall a general,idea of the fit and if you're using a,colored markup which is always good you,want to make sure that you can show,accurately where the different garment,trims or the different garment colors,are located you also want to include in,this phase a suggestion for the material,the material should include the,decomposition D weight the grams per,square meter weight and the fabric,finish you also want to include how many,colorways are in the tech pack for,instance if your tech pack has three,colorways you'll want to show the three,different colorways and you'll want to,specify on each sheet number what,colorway out of three it is let's just,say you have three colorways page one,will be one of three page 2 will be 2 or,3 and page 3 will be 3 of 3 so on and so,forth,in terms of specifying colors you'll,want to use Pantone color codes I would,recommend downloading the Pantone studio,app it's $5 a month but it's going to,give you access to the main key Pantone,guide so you'll be using 4 design and,the one that you'll want to look at for,use with fabrics is the tea see X guide,that's the main one that's the one you,want to use and for prints you can,either use salt coated or solid uncoated,so the color of the prints that go onto,the garment either solid coated or solid,uncoated you'll want to include the TCX,guide name the number and th

what's up design family and welcome to,another episode of fifth design TV on,today's episode we'll be running you,guys through a procreate sportswear,design tutorial I'll be taking you,through the app step by step showing you,how I lay out my boards and how I sketch,out the apparel mock-ups I hope you guys,are ready this is going to be a really,informative video welcome to fit design,TV on this channel we'll explore what it,takes to make it as an active or fashion,brand whilst providing tips tricks and,actionable steps towards starting your,own product line whether an entrepreneur,look at the start your own brand or just,someone interested in fitness fashion,there's something for you here,what is up guys today we'll be taking,you through a basic procreate tutorial,I'll be looking at how to draw a basic,hoodie from a base that we can find on,the internet go online,WWF a design calm you can grab one of,our bases and open up procreate create a,custom canvas around 2000 pixels by 3000,pixels just to give yourself a good,enough size rotate it accordingly and,insert your file going to your camera,roll put in your image and we recommend,crop it out the excess padding on the,sides you can do that just by pushing,your image up and outside of the borders,and then cropping and then down and,outside of the borders and cropping,exactly to what you need then add your,drawing guide had a symmetry line,arrange it so that's vertical so that,you have left and right and then,position your mock-up right in the,center you want to add your mock up give,it a little bit of opacity just so that,you can see it and then add your drawing,assist so unappropriate your drawing,assist is gonna let you do a variety of,things in this case we're gonna be using,the drawing assist to create a,symmetrical stroke with whatever we do,so the first thing you want to do is you,want to go and sketch out the rough,outlines off your mark up using your,base and at this stage you kind of want,to know what your hood is gonna look,like or just a basic idea of your hoodie,you want to be using the mono line for,the external lines and a thinner version,of the model line we recommend pushing,the stream line all the way up and draw,out your main lines at this stage so,here we're going through and we're just,adding the basic wrinkles just to kind,of show where everything's at where the,elbow folds where the waist is where the,hood is we're adding the cuffs all again,using different versions of the model,line pen,we're adding a set in sleeve at this,stage and that's because we want to,create a garment with a bit more of a,tactical look so the satin sleeve is the,appropriate sleeve in this regard and we,recommend checking out the 7c vs Raglan,sleeve video that we've done to kind of,explain to you the differences between,both and were the best applications for,both of those is now we're adding the,internal lines or the kind of like the,seam lines these are the lines that kind,of create the internal look

what's up design family and welcome to,another episode of fit design TV so glad,to have you here today we'll be looking,at colors we're gonna be looking at them,in three parts first color three how are,colors made next how do we mix and match,colors and then last what your colors,say about you so whether you're designer,or someone who is just into fashion,hopefully you guys can learn a thing or,two about colors so excited to bring,this episode to you guys buckle up,you're in for a good one,welcome to fit design TV on this channel,we'll explore what it takes to make it,as an active or a fashion brand whilst,providing tips tricks and actionable,steps towards starting your own product,line whether an entrepreneur look at the,start your own brand or just someone,interested in Fitness fashion there's,something for you here,first we'll look at color theory how our,car is made we have to xalapa,understanding that colors come in three,primary colors and these colors make,pretty much every single color that you,see in the spectrum a different values,of these colors and mixing and matching,them will provide us with the different,tones the infinite tones and hues that,we see in this world so first we'll look,at the primary colors and those are red,yellow and blue and just what like when,you're in kindergarten and you're mixing,and matching colors by painting with,different crayons it's the same idea,here we create different colors outside,of these three primary colors by mixing,and matching these three primary colors,for example red and yellow will give you,orange blue and yellow will give you,green and then red and blue will give,you purple so pretty much how we get the,other colors is by mixing and matching,now we also have to look at two other,parameters that affect the tonality of a,color the vibrancy of a color,the darkness of a color and that's,saturation and we'll also look at the,value of the color so saturation,typically represents the intensity or,purity of a color highly mature colors,or highly saturated colors are very good,at adding our attention on the opposite,spectrum we have these saturated colors,which are more like pastels there are a,lot more delicate and light and those,have a much more subtle approach and,effect it will also look at the value of,the color and the value controls the,brightness of a color something with a,high value is lighter and therefore it,appears brighter so you bring in more,white into it and then something that,with a lower value is going to end up,being a lot darker so that's how we,slide colors from dark to light we'll,also look at the color wheel the color,wheel is typically represents all the,main colors and mixing and matching,these colors will allow us to see how we,mix or how we block our colors and that,takes us on to mixing in matching colors,the main way to mix and match colors is,by color blocking by mixing solids of,the,cause and color-blocking can be split up,into different ways of color blocking,firs

what's up design family and welcome to,another episode of fit design TV on,today's episode I'll be giving you guys,my feedback and advice as a fashion and,sportswear designer on how to design and,enhance sportswear lightings welcome to,fit design TV on this channel we'll,explore what it takes to make it as an,active wear fashion brand,whilst providing tips tricks and,actionable steps towards starting your,own product line whether an entrepreneur,look at the star your own brand or just,someone interested in fitness fashion,there's something for you here,why leggings leggings are just one of,those items that you see on every single,product line there's a staple of any,wardrobe and they're just such a,versatile product that can be worn in a,variety of situations and by virtue it,means that every single brand and its,mothers it's gonna put out a legging or,many different versions of leggings I'm,sick and tired of seeing the same,legging rehashed over and over and some,things just don't work so this is my,experience I'm gonna give you guys tips,and tricks on how to approach the design,in four different sectors we're gonna be,looking at the materials we're gonna be,looking at the finishing so how the,seams are put together we're gonna,looking at these sizing and we're gonna,be looking at extra accessories and,trims that you can add to luggage,enhance functionality and overall appeal,so we'll start off with the first point,of materiality everyone knows that,leggings are a very form-fitting product,and such they need a fabric that is able,to conform to the shape of the wear,because it's going to be so tightly,fitting you typically want to use a,blend of something and spandex we,typically recommend either a polyester,spandex blend a nylon spandex blend,those are the most common most widely,available and you can get really really,good quality fabrics of both different,types there are different compositions,so you can have 30 percent spandex 70,percent nylon we are going to recommend,not going too high on spandex if you,know anything about spandex you know,that just 10 percent spandex in a fabric,is gonna allow to stretch up to two,times of its actual dimensions so adding,too much spandex is gonna lead to a,lighting that is not going to compress,and you're gonna lose out on that,compressive and secure snug fit that you,get so we recommend something around,eighty eight percent nylon or polyester,twelve percent spandex or on the lower,end of the spectrum something like,eighty two percent nylon or polyester,eighteen percent spandex anything more,than that you're going to end up with,having a fabric it's just gonna stretch,you're gonna lose the color because the,spanda,she's gonna go is going to show through,and spandex has like a milky white color,and then overall you're just gonna lose,that security that you can be afforded,by the pair lightens you do want by,against the compress correctly we'll,also look at the weight of the fabric,weight is so important and
