hey this is ryan from web eminence and,in this video i'm going to show you an,option for finding Shopify design themes,that you probably didn't even know,existed,Shopify is a fast growing e-commerce,platform that hosts over 300,000 stores,at the moment most new store owners,browse the Shopify theme store to find a,design for their store and there are,some great themes there I can actually,link to another video I created that,highlights some of their themes but what,many people don't realize is that,template monster one of the Internet's,largest sources for web design templates,actually sells Shopify themes template,monster actually reached out to me and,asked if I would cover their Shopify,themes in a review video so here's my,honest review of purchasing and,installing a Shopify theme from template,monster now I'm on the template monster,homepage and as you can see they have a,ton of themes in different categories,like WordPress themes joomla templates,PrestaShop themes i'm going to go under,the e-commerce template category and,click on Shopify themes you can see,today at the time of this video and they,have 251 themes I think on the Shopify,theme store there's under 100 themes so,obviously you're getting a big selection,by choosing or browsing themes from,template monster so here's a look at,some of their themes you can view them,by category here on the left and then,you can click on any of these themes and,view a live demo after browsing some of,their themes for a while I chose this,one called handbag boutique like some of,the features on the homepage this image,here on a transparent parallax,background is pretty cool at the top you,can see there's this drop-down menu that,can be hidden they have some featured,products another parallax image at the,bottom with a newsletter so a lot of,this can be customized in Shopify most,of their themes are $139 for Shopify at,least I'm going to go ahead and purchase,this by clicking buy now and you'll see,on the Left they do have a bunch of,add-ons you can purchase,like installation or color changes you,can purchase some of the image files to,go with the theme I'm going to just,purchase the single site license for,$139 so I went through the ordering,process it was pretty simple to enter,some information and then I did a PayPal,payment took me back to this page where,it says please keep this page open we,may give you a call to confirm your,order so I'm just going to pause the,video and wait I assume they do this for,security reasons okay someone from,template monster did call me to verify,my name and the fact that I had,purchased something on template monster,and then I was able to verify my email,address and then I was able to go back,to my account and go to the downloads,page and that takes me here where I can,download the Shopify theme it looks like,there's documentation here which I'm,going to take a look at first and that,just takes me to Shopify comm and,information on installing a Shopify,theme so in o

what's up everybody theme rhino from,themerhino.com we're doing an update,video today,i'm going to make this video very very,very very short,and just want to update you guys on,exactly what's going on,um behind the scenes so um,very very soon uh in about a day or two,maybe two days i'll be uploading the,first episode episode number one of a,new build series,we're rebuilding a shopify theme,specifically and i think this is gonna,be a really really good one,the sour strips website so those who,don't know sour strips you got max,tuning,entrepreneur he has a multi-million,dollar company called sour strips,it's a candy company a little exotic,from what we're used to we used to,you know doing clothing and things like,that so a little bit exotic a little bit,different,but i think it's going to be really,really cool because it brings another,perspective,to design and with theme rhino the name,of the youtube channel,i want to keep the focus on design,conversions,things that relate to you know that kind,of whole aspect the visual aspect behind,building shopify stores,of course i can go into ads and things,like that but honestly from the reports,that i'm getting based on the views and,things like that,i don't think people like him like when,i talk about ads i don't think people,like you know are interested in that,kind of thing,now that could be a different story but,it doesn't really matter,that's what we're doing that's the first,thing the second thing is,i'm actually partnering up behind the,scenes with a company that makes,themes um and we're going to be putting,a theme together,they'll be building the theme um with,with certain kind of spec,specifications that i prefer and they're,going to be building the theme and i'm,going to be creating a course,using that theme and we're actually,going to be putting it together we're,going to be partnering,so it's going to be a i guess you could,say a partnership i really don't know,what you call it,it's i guess you could say it's a,partnership um between,this certain company and the theme we're,coming together,i'm not going to announce what the theme,is,um or who it is the company is i don't,i don't even know what how they're going,to set it up they might want to create,their own new website or whatever,they're going to do,but with that being said i'm really,really excited they're actually a team,that builds themes that's what they do,um and we're i'm going to be partnering,with them so i'm going to be creating a,course,on the theme and you know the way we,talked about this was,i was actually reaching out to different,theme companies because you guys see me,promoting these other themes and i said,you know why not build something that's,not only effective but give people you,know a little bit more uh,with it you know the course and and i,think it would just be a great,partnership,i personally prefer it i think you guys,would prefer too so i will be coming out,with that soon,more information on that soon but i've,go

hey guys i'm cash if this is your first,time to my channel i make videos about,design for shopify templates as well as,canva templates and social media,templates today's video is going to talk,about if you have a small catalog and,filling out your home page and making it,the best use of your home page to,demonstrate your products and not look,so bare and empty,so that's what they're going to get into,check out the video and i hope you,learned a lot,okay yeah i'm back i don't want to give,you a tutorial on every feature in,shopify i just want to focus on the,design aspects why you need them and how,they help your site so your home page,should be a,landing page like a sales page so like,if somebody,comes into your store they need to see,on display what you offer right so this,is what we're gonna talk about,so first off this is the demo store so,don't mind the name that you're gonna,see clothing demo forget that,now what i'm doing here is i'm making,the hero image and i'm giving a call to,action oftentimes i see people have a,big photo and it's nothing no call to,action you're not selling selling the,product at all so good photos with call,to actions are super important when,people first yeah i hop in the camera to,source up these product images because,you know how we do but i went there to,pick up the color scheme of what i,already did so i could add it into my,theme so this is what you see me doing,here trying to find the right colors and,make sure that you know you can read,everything and that is a you know a,blended like the colors go together and,they kind of match without it being too,busy two to three colors are ideal for,your brand colors um but yeah,this is in theme settings also if you,need to find it again i'm not doing a,tutorial y'all on where to find stuff,we're just talking about design,remember this is a sales page y'all so,you have to make sure you have your,products on the page so people can see,what you have and purchase what you have,this is the collection section so people,can see what's in this collection,eyelashes and we're going to make this,page do what it's supposed to do get you,some sales when you have a small catalog,it's super important to have your,products on the page,i just wanted to remind you how to turn,the draft to active in the top right and,make sure you turn off track quantity,now that we have our collection section,i'm just going to change the name and,give it you know what the category,actually is which is eyelashes and i'm,going to adjust it for some aesthetics,make them bigger smaller et cetera,now i'm adding another section if you,have a service that you want to offer,you can make a section for that on your,homepage as well and give people the,opportunity to know about the service as,well as book the service right from this,page so again because you have limited,products you don't have to have a bunch,of things spread out because it looks,very bare you can condense everything on,the home page and then se

one of the top questions i get is does,my store look legit or does my store,even look good so i'm going over the top,five things i change when upgrading a,source design,first off let's upgrade your fonts it's,nice to have two to three different,fonts but don't go crazy i recommend,balancing them out too like a script or,an impact style font making it bigger,and only using it for one minimal,headline you want to choose easily,readable fonts with font sizes that are,large enough you have to remember a lot,of people will be viewing your site on,their mobile devices,my vote here would be function over,style check out google fonts because a,lot of shopify themes incorporate them,so you can play around with different,combinations and fonts there,next is that you want to have a cohesive,feel you know like a vibe it's like how,you can go to multiple brands in a niche,and find them serving different,audiences than styling their marketing,to reach that audience just take a look,at all the different online fitness,brands that are out there now and how,different they can all be,this applies to your niche as well and,you need to decide where you fit in in,the market then create a cohesive feel,and design that matches that,okay so i cannot go any further without,talking about the importance of good,photos i recently got new product photos,for my books for prices ranging from 130,to 300 on fiverr the process was really,easy and i'm super pleased with the,results so watch that video next if,you're interested you can really easily,take your own quality photos at home,though using different techniques and,some inexpensive products from amazon,photos really help elevate your brand,and even just having the photos all be a,cohesive style and shape can make a huge,difference you can take your overall,site design and marketing up a notch,easily by just improving this one piece,so do not forget this step i'll link,below all the products i purchased from,amazon for these at home photo styling,items,next we have accent colors for an,elevated more expensive design i,recommend using one maybe two accent,colors throughout the site as call to,action buttons you really don't want to,overdo it and have the eye confused on,where to look though create moments of,rest like in the all birds site design,not only do they have great pictures,from different angles that break up,their homepage more but they also have,moments of space and rest different,alignments to break up the page flow,more their accent colors are only really,seen in the header area and in the site,buttons they're subtle but because the,rest of the site design is so clean they,really stand out,having cool features rounds out our list,and for this i'm talking about,functionality like store locators which,list around the holidays rewards,programs for shoppers and so on these,are benefits that keep people coming,back to your site as a resource so look,at what the big boys in your niche are,doing and research available s

today we got a request to review skinny,color cosmetics,so there's a few things that strike me,right off the bat,first off is your banner image here so,i actually had to go and inspect your,your image to actually find what the,full size look one looks like and,without going through all this process,basically it actually says big beauty,new year's,sale but i cannot tell that from,what's going on here and the main reason,for that is because you are using the,venture theme,and this is probably my least favorite,free theme by shopify but at the same,time it does have its usefulness,so let's take a look at this theme on,the shopify,theme website here so if we click on,view demo for this guy uh you'll see,that,it's i mean it's a similar setup to,yours now if you take a look at the,background image if we,switch between you know a desktop and,what you'd see on mobile,you'll see that it cuts out a lot of the,image,so but at the same time it keeps this,text here the same,so you need to ensure that your,background image is one that is okay,to be cut and not one that includes,texts,so you might want to include that text,you know,you know the new year's sale information,about it you might want to include that,text here because then it will translate,nicely into mobile,one of the benefits of this particular,theme is that the nested,drop-downs actually provide images so if,i go here,and it drops down into snowboards you,know i can,select different parts different,components of the snowboard,and i also see you know the different,top products you know you can see the,same thing for,skis you know men women so,this can actually be useful for,cosmetics because,you know you actually get to preview,what things look like,we if we go back to your store here we,find that that's not the case there,aren't any nested drop downs for this,it just brings customers straight to,your full collection,so you want to make sure that it is,super easy for customers,you have to realize that in today's day,and age customers may have,a very very short attention span so you,want to make sure that you grab them,right away make it super easy to find,the products that they're looking for,and then you know get them to get to,check out as quickly as possible,so if i scroll down here it looks like,you have you know some top products here,it would be better if you had kind of um,collections so you know it looks like,you have some collections here,i mean when i go to shop i do have the,ability to filter,and i see that you do have different,collections or at least you have,different,product tags for sure uh i would just,recommend,you know organizing that into a drop,down so you know,facial products uh you know,lip gloss however whatever makes the,most sense to you,make sure that you have that in the drop,down and perhaps multiple tabs up here,um that is going to help your customers,get to the product that they're,interested in the most and,and get them right through the checkout,process one other t

welcome to eshop talk,i am alberto and today i'm going to,teach you how to change your shopify,store password,in case you forgot it or just to keep,your account safe before anything else,make sure to like this video subscribe,to this shop channel,and hit that bell button right next to,it to never miss our videos,most people only change their passwords,when they forget them but that shouldn't,be the only reason to do it,you see there is a lot of important,information stored in your shopify,account,so changing your password regularly is,probably one of the best tips to keep,your shop,and your business safe from a number of,threats so let's dive right into it,and learn how to change your shopify,password there are two ways to change,your shopify password,let's start with the first one when you,actually know the password to your,shopify account and you want to change,it for security purposes,so for that let's go to the home page of,shopify,and on the top right corner you will see,your username let's click on it,and click your account on the drop down,menu this will bring you to your account,page,on the top left corner there is the,security icon let's click on that too,and the first field in this page is your,password exactly,shopify is telling me that i never,change my password i think it's time to,do so so let's do it together,let's click change passwords enter your,old password or your current password,and let's pick a new password,for this purpose i will just allow,a new password to be randomly generated,i will copy this,just in case that i will need it later,and once,everything is done once you entered your,new password,and you repeated it then you just click,change password,and voila shopify confirms that,your password has changed this is the,first way to change your password let's,go into the second way to change your,shopify password that is,when you completely forgot your shopify,account password,do not panic here we are in the shopify,landing page,and we will simply click login we'll be,asked to enter our admin url for shopify,here it is press next,sometimes you'll be asked to enter your,email address,in my case i already have that,credential saved so i will jump straight,to password,i will not log in however i will click,on the bottom here,where it says forgot password this is,what we want to do forgot password,so shopify will confirm did you forget,your password yes i did,is this my email yes it is reset,password,here we go shopify confirmed that the,link to reset your password has been,emailed to you,check your email for an email with a,subject reset your password by shopify,so open it and here it is you have a,link to reset your password let's follow,the instruction,click the link it will open a form,to insert a new password this is what,we're going to do now,new password here we go,so this is our new password just click,on the reset password button under it,that's it shopify will now redirect you,to a new form to relog,into your store s
