welcome back graduates so in this,section i'm going to show you how to,set up columns with image and uh this is,a very this is a pretty you know robust,section where we give you um,break points and spacing like any other,section but it you can have two images,you can have three images you can have,five images so it's a very um,advanced feature so when you go into,your uh big store,you're gonna go and click customize,and i set up an example for you and this,will be uh given to the new um,anyone who's purchased it uh we'll just,send an email to you um to download the,new version 2.0 um of big store and then,you'll get the uh this nice uh new,setting here so it's called columns with,image and,when you go and add it you're just gonna,add section and then start typing in,c-o-l-u-m-n-s columns with image and,then when you get that i will just type,it in for you so you can kind of see,columns with image,and right now it's going to be blank it,looks like this until you,until you add an item so let's let's say,i only want to do three items and by,default it does four items so when i,click on just the section itself on my,right sidebar i get my settings as usual,wrapped in container the background,color and then items per row this is,what you know i would want to you know,play around with if i only have three,items on desktop i'll just show three,um and then on mobile you can,share you can set it to two or you can,set it to uh,one,so it kind of looks like that now this,is just you know by default and you can,remove this within the,blocks right over here,so in here let's just you know add an,image and we give you image size sizes,as well so they don't look too big,um,but this is for like you know sections,like oh free shipping or,safe guaranteed check out things like,that,and then i would go and,you have an image you have image border,you have thumbnails so,and then you have crop centers bottom,this applies to,more of the image depending on what kind,of image you choose,and then here i would type in,the heading and you have it heading side,size,options and then you have descriptions,so you can say,free shipping,and then you have the description size,as well so i'd make that really small,then with this you also have shop now,you have a button,text and then you have a button url as,well,plus a button color outlines or,solid colors and then the small normal,and large option as well,and then,so notice how when i lower the image,width and image height the quality goes,down just a little bit so i would keep,this at 800 by 800.,and if you also have you know this this,this section is not necessarily for uh,for feature brands for badges things,like that you can have this for other,images as well like bigger images so if,you want just two columns with promos um,i would just remove this,add,an image here and we can just choose one,of the free images let's just say this,really beautiful image right here,and then again,a nice beautiful,image,oh let's just go back,i gues

welcome back graduates so today i'm,going to show you this the settings um,in the header in the header uh so right,over here when you go into the header or,when you go into your theme and then you,click on header you're going to get on,the right sidebar all your settings,background color just means that you,know this whole area,is going to be white or whatever color,you choose,light you can just see a little,adjustment there primary is whatever,color you set in the background in the,theme settings,secondary is,gray because i chose gray to be my,secondary color,so if i choose let's say for dark i'm,going to need a white background,now if i choose light or light or white,um and i and i do see that there's a,logo here right down here mobile and,desktop we give you um so on desktop,let's just give an example of an adidas,for example because i just needed to be,i i'm just showing you for purpose sake,that it has to be a dark um,logo for this and then right over here,we give you a desktop logo heights,so that can be you know bigger up to up,to a hundred but you don't want it that,big because you know um,that's a lot that's a lot of space for,the header so let's just make it you,know this size and when you do make the,logo make sure that uh it is cropped,with just the logo itself and not the,white space in the in the pixels when,you're in adobe illustrator,and then also to view mobile you're just,going to click on mobile,and then right now i don't have an icon,so i need to well i do but you can't see,it so i'm just going to change this to,the,adidas one,and then here you can choose you know,the mobile height as well now if you do,choose a bit bigger,you'll notice that things are uh start,to spread out,and then that just looks a little too,big so just play around with these,settings here i think honestly about,that size looks really good,and then also boxing container when you,go into,full screen,you can have fluid or box,fluid just means outside so we give you,you know fluid outside of it so when you,go and switch back to full screen it's,going to be the logo at the very edge to,edge and also your icons edge to edge,some people like that some people don't,so i like the box and everything's in,the you know boxing in the container as,well uh so also shadow means you know,the very bottom there's it's very small,but no shadow did you see that,difference,i saw it let's go back so normal the,slightest difference as you saw so let's,just,show you,on a white so you see how there's a,tiniest drop shadow,large means it's pretty apparent it,actually looks really pretty and then,you know no shadow means no shadow so,it's just going to be,white on white and there's not going to,be like a place where you can,differentiate between the header um and,then the elements going down from it so,i like small just the subtle light touch,of it,and then scrolling down here this is,where you can set right here menu this,is where you can set your menu you can,you can remove it or

welcome back graduates so today i'm,going to show you how to set up your,logos slash brands section so,in order for that,to work,let's just show you what it looks like,first,scrolling down and then this is what,it's going to look like really nice and,clean you can have you know four you can,have three you can have six however many,you'd like and then you have a title and,then a subtitle right here so let's get,into it so when you're going into your,theme editor,this section is called brands so i'm,just going to go and create another,section so you see what it looks like,it's called brands,and it's what it's going to look like,without any you know blocks or anything,added to it,so like like i mentioned in the section,itself you're going to have on the right,side all your all your settings,where you can choose a background color,the title and then a sub description,right over here and then you also have,your points,and then gap in between,are now going to that and then you're,spacing so spacing top and bottom so i'm,just going to give a good even spacing,right there i like to do that in the,very beginning,and then also,gap giving you the spacing between the,items so on mobile we give you spacing,between mobile and then tablet and then,desktop as well and then items per row,also known as breakpoints when you're on,mobile you can choose to have display,two or one,and on desktop however many you'd like,you know eight or six however many you,have so let's do six right now so i'm,just gonna add six items one two three,four five and six,so they'll,look like this and blank right now when,you go into the actual block itself,you're gonna have an image and then you,can have a url attached to it so we're,just gonna go and add,this,and then add,another one,and just keep on adding them,and make sure they're you know high-res,images,you don't want them blurry,so this is just for examples,going in here and then sure it looks you,know weird,small too small this and that so i have,six right here let's try on desktop,for six and then let's also try the gap,there's a lot of gap in between so on,desktop i want it you know pretty close,spaced out,one two three four five six that's a bit,you know too big so we could have you,know,five across now remember when you have a,big screen like this you're not gonna,actually see what it looks like until,you go into here and then full screen so,it is still a bit big so maybe i'll do,like eight,and just play along and play around with,that um based on how many brands you are,displaying and then the spacing of it as,well so um that looks pretty good,and then on mobile just check on mobile,so i want to show four on mobile um but,let's say i want to show three then,it'll be even like this when you have an,even number um i recommend you know,doing it intervals of three,um or you can do two and that looks,pretty blocky and spaced out you could,do four,six might look a little cramped,but it might work too,so that's up to you to decide,h

welcome back graduates so today i'm,going to show you how to set up the,frequently bought together on your,product page now,for this,this is this is a very um sensitive but,easy section to do if you just follow,along it is based on tags so whenever,you assign it to a product it's only,going to display on that product just,remember that so for example it's on,this product right now the pastel color,graphic t-shirt,if i go to another product right over,here let's say the cargo joggers it's,not going to have an upsell because i,didn't assign any tags for the upsell to,display on the cargo joggers,all right,so,in order to do this well it looks like,this and it's going to be displayed like,this you see the thumbnails,really nice and then you have your,variants as well and then let's just add,this to cart,and i should see 89.85 so all of these,are added to car and this is a really,great way to increase you know um your,your conversions also um just have your,customers buy more,so let's get into this so what you're,going to do is you're going to go into,your paso color graphic t-shirt this is,the one i'm using as an example um,just to so basically if a customer goes,on to this product i want to upsell them,with these with this bundle of other,t-shirts as well,to do this this is just mock-up to do,this it's all going to be based on tags,so the format is upsell colon and then,whatever the product url handle is,so what i like to do is just go in my,notes here and just type in upsell,a couple times so i don't have to keep,on you know writing it,and all i have to do is get the get the,product url handle to get the product,url url handle of any product you're,going to go into your products here,and wait for it to load and then let's,say i want the ultimate brush set,then to get the product url of any,product you're going to click on edit,seo and right over here this is the,product url handle just gonna copy and,paste this or just copy and paste this,into my notepad at least wherever i want,and let's get another couple of,um,url handles for namesake,go here,and then get one more product um the hat,at least i can wear a hat with my shirt,right,so i'll wear the hat,so,now i'm gonna go back to my,main product that i want and let's say i,want to upsell the,you know the two shirts plus the hat so,what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna go back,into here and just,once you have this it's pretty much easy,um and and you can choose which one and,just add it into your tags right over,here,so once it um once shopify updates i,should see in the back end i should see,in the front and,when i click preview a hat,and there we go so now it's showing that,i can um,that i have this this this and this and,i can add all of them to cart and now my,prices have increased,and now i can add more i can add as many,as i'd like,really,we could do the ring as well so it looks,really nice,and just have fun with it too,so if you have rings um maybe add a,makeup set to it if you are selling,makeup set

welcome back graduates so today i'm,going to show you how to set up,this really cool collections circle kind,of storytelling board um this has worked,on a lot of stores it's you know up and,coming and it just gives a really great,overview on what kind of you know main,collections are there,and if you scroll down we also have,another feature collections,option as well but we've noticed that on,a lot of stores these this style works a,lot so you can have you know four you,can have five you can have seven it,wouldn't put more than ten it just gets,too,too messy it does slide on mobile which,is really uh cool and pretty and we also,give you the option to add um a,a customized image if if you don't like,the collection image um then you get to,put in a custom image,so let's go in and check it out you're,going to go into the back end of your,shopify store,pretty familiar with this by now and,then you're gonna click on customize,and this section is called the simple,collection list it's already got the css,it's already got all that designed out,for you all you have to do is just um,select a collection,and an and an image and there you go so,this is what it looks like on mobile,this thing will go away um but if you,preview it on your phone it just becomes,a really nice slider,and then you also have spacing top and,bottom as well and heading size,so let's go in and let's just pretend to,add a section and i'm going to add the,simple collection,list,right now it looks like this and then,i'm going to add in my blocks and yes,shopify allows you only 16 blocks per,section but you don't want 16 here,so let's just do one two three four five,let's just do five,for right now and i'm in the blocks,right now so on my right side i only,have the collection to choose the image,and then a title if i want um which,means that if i choose let's say for,example um,leggings looks like this,and then if i want to choose a different,image,it just pulls in a different image which,is really cool but i don't want that i,want to show the leggings,and then also if you don't want leggings,you could do,um hot,leggings,hot leggings so overrides what the,default collection title is if you,choose to do that so i just like the,leggings title so i'm just going to,choose leggings,and then i'm just going to go in and,choose another collection men's joggers,i hope you guys like all of the branding,photos that we did spend some time doing,that um men's swim trunks,and then we'll do um,let's see we could do,what else do i have i know i have more,we could do um,women's t-shirts how about that women's,t-shirts and then for here i don't like,this t-shirt very much so i'm just gonna,go in and change this out to,that's a hoodie so i'll do women's,hoodie instead,uh change collection and i'm just gonna,you can also type in if you don't want,to continue scrolling down so now it's a,women's hoodie um and then,so it looks,pretty nice right now but i'm gonna go,into the section itself which has more,settin

welcome back ecom graduates so today i'm,going to show you how to set up your,carousel and tell you what dimensions to,use mobile and desktop and all the,settings it comes with so let's get down,to it,so if you already have the eg big store,that's awesome and most likely you're,not going to be working on the live,theme because you'll probably have,something you know live while you're,working on it so it might be down here,but for our case it's going to be live,so what you want to do is click,customize,and this is just for the carousel,section there's going to be a whole,bunch of playlists for the rest of the,sections involved,so when i go into carousel this is the,section and then within each section,there are blocks and shopify limits you,to 16 blocks so if i continue to add,slide i can add up to 15 more slides,just like this,but i'm not going to want to do that,because who wants to go around and,click on more slides than possibly two,or three so i'm just going to reload,this so nothing saves,so let's get,to these sections,so right over here the carousel when i'm,clicking on just this section,section um,on the right side bar it's going to give,me the settings and then on the left,side it's going to give me the dashboard,when i go and click into a block right,over here it's going to give me,just settings within that block so if i,change the these settings and i add,another block for example here it's,going to be completely different,settings than it was for,this one,but if i choose carousel and change the,settings within,that section it's going to change for,the whole section,so let's go into carousel and go into,the options here background color,uh it's a background color i chose dark,uh you can choose light,um it's not really gonna show unless you,don't have you know an image this is,just like the actual like background,color um,so container container means if it's in,the container or if it's outside of the,container full width outside if it's in,a container it's going to look like this,sometimes you know,stores want this when it's all aligned,in a container and some of them like,full width i usually like full width so,i'm just going to go and and click on,full width,so right over here show controls,you can slightly see that there's arrows,right over here indicating that there's,going to be another slide,now when i go and click on this other,slide but remove that remove this block,and i have this enabled it's not going,to show another slide because there's no,other slide added it only is going to,show when i have another slide so it,automatically knows that but,when you have another slide you don't,need to show arrows,you can just unclick that and then you,can show indicators instead indicators,are the dots you see slightly it's,there's subtle you know changes that we,we give you so you can have dots or you,can have controls,or you can have both so that's what,those are,so i like the arrows,autoplay just means that it will slide,automatically e

welcome back graduates so today i'm,going to show you how to embed a video a,youtube video or a video video,uh so,in order to do that you're just going to,go into the back end of or the front end,of your theme editor and then you're,going to go and click on add section if,you haven't already and embed,video,so this is what's going to look like um,just by default and then clicking on the,section here you have a youtube video,option so let's go into youtube,and let's just get for example the first,one mr beast is awesome so i'll just,grab that url close out of this,and then now i have that url and i'm,just gonna paste it right here,so it's going to look like this and then,scrolling down you have your background,color options again light,just for this section this only applies,for the section,that you edit and then primary,yellow,and notice how like there's not there's,not much spacing if you do want a,background color um scroll all the way,down we give you again spacing,top and bottom and i'm just going to do,11 11 and notice how they're spacing now,top and bottom,now if i want to do margin top and,bottom i'll do 11 just to show you and,then,11 on the bottom so you'll see some,white space on the bottom like that so,that's outside of the element,um scrolling up so you have your youtube,video and then you have your background,color and then wrapping container means,it's going to be in the container in the,container just like how it is um,like this,or if you want it you know full width,or fluid,so fluid looks like this full width,and then i would just you know leave,this,empty,um so when you're doing full width,leave this section empty,and then it'll be nice and full width,like that,nice and big,and then down here aspect ratio we like,to keep it you know 16 by nine but you,can play around with it uh one by one,pretty big um 21 by nine it's kind of,more you know narrow,like this i'm on a very white uh,very big widescreen monitor so it might,look,a little bigger,and you can play around around with that,and then border,will give you a nice rounded effect,and then thumbnail,notice how there's a bit of a when you,scroll down a little bit of a white,border so that's the thumbnail effect of,it too,and then you can also um apply this only,to youtube you can have it start um,leave empty to start from beginning or,you can have it start at a certain time,as well and then um you can have you,know the player notes and then privacy,enhanced mode so we give you a little,tooltip right over here and then the,spacing again,and this is a section that you can have,on any other page as well to build out,awesome landing pages uh hope this video,helped thank you

welcome back graduates so today i'm,going to show you how to you know set up,a great product page and just in general,um the sections that you can have on the,product page so going into your theme,editor this is what's going to look like,and then you have your swatches your,variants,your reviews,through the,app,we recommend luke's or you know just,shopify product reviews you can do,judgement io there's a whole great,number of,reviews that work really well,this is the thumbnail,scrolling down you have your add to cart,and you have your buy now your delivery,and then secured,payment options uh and you can you know,toggle these on and off and i'll show,you that in a second and then you have,your description right over here so the,first thing is your product template um,and this is the section and then these,are the blocks within it so going into,here the product template you have a,size title now make sure remember,uh this is how you're gonna view it and,then this is you know when you're,working your your workboard right here,you can change the um the heading sizes,small,small and then you know really large,so let's do something like heading three,and then also compared price when it's,not when there isn't a compare price,it's just going to show the price,and then,when when there is a compare price it's,going to slash through just like that,automatically,i'm scrolling down here product carousel,you have a square you can have a,a landscape,which this is not um this is a very long,one so it won't exactly work,and then you have a portrait but it's a,bad example because this is a very uh,this is um,a very long product page so normally you,would have you know 900 by 900,or even 450 by 750 let's say,and then right over here we give you,image border,square so notice how the edges are,square,this gives a nice you know rounded soft,touch and then right over here,that's the thumbnail notice how there's,a tiny little white border so,it gives you a little,cleaner look,we think,and then right over here the size,buttons,this is the product form itself,size buttons when you toggle this on and,off it gives you buttons or it just,gives you a drop down like this,so i like the buttons and then color,swatches um again if there are no,um,if you if you have color swatches and it,looks like this and you want swatches to,be disabled um on just look like this,and then when you go and preview this,this will you know switch back and forth,so if you go to,tanks,they'll switch to,the white green or the black variants,um and then right over here this is a,delivery info you can toggle this whole,thing on and off if you'd like,enable disable and then you have the,days and then the max days and i'm just,going to save that and then it'll,reflect or do the calculations itself,uh and then the frequently bought,together,this is the tag priests upsell,colon and then whatever the product url,handle is so if there is going to be a,upsell just go back into the other video,how i showed you

welcome back become graduates today i'm,going to show you how to set up your faq,page,so in the back end over here you're just,going to click on customize,and then when you're in here so you have,a faq page and you have faq sections so,the faq section is just going to be on,the home page and it's going to just be,in the ad section over here and you can,just,add section f,faq,right over here so faq,scrolling all the way down so this is,what's going to,look like for default on the home page,in this section right over here,on the right side you have your,settings bar so you have the background,color options,notice how we just went a little bit,light and then primary and then this,will change,with the text as well and so let's just,do it white then you have your max width,this is what it's going to look like you,know when it's 768,if you want it you know a bit wider you,can do 996,or you could do,1200,makes it a bit wider as well so you can,play along with that,and then also you have your title here,so if you want to do like you know,general questions or faq you can leave,it there,you can leave this blank too,or you can say um,read more,and then highlight over and then link it,to an faq page so pages and then you can,link it to more faq pages as well so,i'll just insert that,and then again you have your spacing top,and bottom,top is top and,padding top and bottom are the elements,in and then margin are the elements,outside of that the spacing,and then when you go into each block you,have just the title which is the,question and then you have the,description which is the the answer,right over here as well and you can have,16 blocks,within them so they just look like this,blank and then you can put,the text in there as well,now in order for you to create a faq,page,if you haven't already go to pages,and it's going to look like this,general questions faq,we already have that set up for you so,all you're going to have to do is create,the faq page,inside here pages,create template call it faq and then,going into the back end here we already,have that template ready for you so,you're just going to go into the pages,and you're going to add a page,and you're going to name it general,questions or faq whatever you'd like,and then down here you're just going to,assign the,faq template that we already created for,you,and then once you do that you're going,to go back into here refresh,and then it's going it's already going,to be be set up with with this you know,format already so we make it nice and,easy for you and then you can have you,know your general questions you know,questions about shipping questions about,payments or any other you know questions,based on your niche or your or if it's a,makeup brand you know,you can have specific ones for you know,this these categories it's just for,makeup questions this category is for,clothing questions,uh so we make it nice and simple for you,and that's how you create the faq thank,you
