it's not that i don't want you here,it's something,so once you have chosen which platform,you're going to use for your business,next go ahead and choose a theme okay,there are several things that you want,to consider when picking out the theme,the first thing is your industry okay,what industry are you a part of um,if you are a shoe designer for example,and you sell shoes a website that sells,shoes might have different needs than a,skin care brand or like an acne brand,for example right so consider the,industry that you're a part of and,choose the website accordingly okay the,next thing you want to consider is your,catalog size okay how many products do,you plan to sell in your website within,the next year for example right if you,have about 20 products or less that is,considered somewhat of a small catalog,if you plan to have over a hundred,products on your website that is a large,catalog okay different catalog sizes,have different needs and the biggest,difference between the two is your,filters and just overall product data,and tags so if you have a large catalog,your website needs to have the,capability to be able to sort those,products as much as it makes sense for,the brand so that your customer can,easily find what they're looking for,okay if you don't have such a large,catalog you might not even need to show,filters on your website so that is like,the big difference there one shopify,theme that i definitely recommend for,larger catalogs is the iconic theme okay,this theme is not only visually,appealing so if you are a lifestyle,brand there's several real estate,options to post pictures but i love the,navigation okay this theme does have a,fly out navigation where you can,actually feature products directly in,the navigation for your customers to,shop which is amazing you can also,display your different collections um,your quick links to allow the customer,to find the product a lot easier okay,this a flat navigation i believe is a,must 2022 for websites but the other,thing that i like about this template is,that is the filter options okay,you do have the sticky filters,on the side of your collection pages to,add and you can absolutely customize,these filters to add a lot more options,that fit the needs of your brand okay,this theme does have uh i believe four,different,design options as well,so based on you know,your look and feel for your brand the,navigation and filters can look a little,bit different in this theme that i'm,showing you the navigation,uh functionality is still the same but,the filters are at the top of the,collection pages versus the side and,here you can see the customized,additional options that you can add as,well so,this is one option but there are several,more to choose from,your layout your layout is so important,as well okay so consider the needs of,your brand right do you have more of a,lifestyle brand in which you want to,display a lot of photos if that is the,case then you might be looking for a,more content rich

hey what's going on entrepreneurs so i,know i post this on october 1st,is now almost the end of the month and,convergio has got a ton of updates when,we launched it it was,0.1.0 now we're on 0.1.7,that's the latest update it's going to,actually be going to be coming out uh,actually on friday i believe today is,what the almost the 30th,yeah tomorrow's the 30th so tomorrow the,update is going to be,0.1.7 so let's do a speed test,on the theme uh as it is now i believe,when we posted it uh when we were,first launched it was around 2.6 seconds,so we're going to do a a new look at,what the theme looks like right now,and we've added quite a lot you know,we've got a,nice mega menu we've got a wish list app,we've got a currency converter,we've got this awesome fancy chat the,slider now has some pretty cool effects,uh we had a little bit more depth uh,with that nice shadow,around the mega menu and as you can tell,the menu itself has some animated,effects as well,um you know we've added quite a lot,scroll to top we finally have,uh which automatically adjusts with the,height did you see that,it adjusts with the height we've got uh,verified review,options uh for testimonials we're still,working on this feature,um this is the development version so,you know you're gonna see more features,on here than our actual production,version,but you you're all able to easily go,here and see what future updates are,going to look like,we also have a custom pages option so,you can actually build out your pages,the way you want them,all these custom sections are on here,you know right on here you can add,anything you want,uh we gotta fix the spacing on that,which is easily changed,through the theme editor every aspect of,this theme you can adjust the spacing,the size you know how it's laid out on,the page and everything's perfect,um exactly how you need it we also have,a,an faq uh page that works beautifully,now,um portfolio i don't know why this is,here this is another custom page,so let's go to a product page,so we've added quite a lot to this this,theme since 0.1.1 now we now have,product swatches so let me actually go,to a product swatch so,we should have a swatch option somewhere,else i think that might be it,not entirely certain um yeah,mom yeah all right so we don't have a,color here for that product right here,we have a currently viewing,we have you're only 80 away we have,custom swatch badges i mean,custom truss badges and a nice uh,better faq accordion uh style,product description similar same concept,as the faq page but we have a,accordion style description with icons,and uh the sticky had the car so so many,bugs have been,fixed on here it's insane so we've done,a lot but let's go and test the speed,shall we all right so here we go here,so gt metrics i'm going to refresh so,you guys can see that,all right paste it analyze it let's see,what the speed is on here,now i told you guys i wouldn't be,editing this video what you see is what,you get,this is good you're goin

hello everyone,welcome to my channel,in this video i'll show you,how you can add load more button on your,shopify collection page,if i click on this load more button,it will load up more products on the,collection page without loading the page,how you can do this on your,shopify store first of all,come to your,shopify admin dashboard,just copy of your,existing theme,and you'll work on the copied theme you,have just duplicated,now come to my github repository,you can see the link i'll give it in the,description box,first of all,go here code and download chip,you should have a loader jeep and,index.html,now come to your shopify admin dashboard,and click on action,and click on edit code,now go to your templates folder,and click on collection,after reaching this,collection template,you can see section collection template,click on this arrow,now,you have to back to my github repository,you have to add loadout.gif in the,assets folder,come to the assets,uh you can see i have added loadout.gif,file in the asset folder you can simply,add,add new asset,and choose file that's it,now click on index.html,uh copy this line,presidential pages greater than on,and,come to the code,just control if,and you will find if condition if,resonator is greater than on,just copy this html code,and paste it here,just make simple invitation,click on save,you can edit the text from here you can,add b more you can add lot more you can,add anything you want,and i have loaded the loader.gf file,here from the asset folder that is,called asset url filter,now we have to,back again my,difficulty and,copy all the codes from style to script,just copy all the code,ctrl c and,paste to the bottom,now hit on save,just remember this line of code,uh dollar sign that means a jquery,uh we have selected class,grid loader,copy this one,uh it will happen to response html,uh and we'll find again great loader to,dot html so just we have to remember the,class name grid loader,and we have to add this great lower,class,to the,main,product wrapper so,we have,just source on the collection template,create,uh grid,spacer,and,grid loader,just paste your class,on,grid loader,i am working on dv25 so it will be,easier for you to use those codes on dvd,file otherwise you can do it,by your own this is similar to all,things,that's all now,click on this i icon,select any of the,collection,scroll down a bit and you can see the v1,button if i click on this,you can see the products are adding,again the products are adding,and the products are wearing so you can,change the,text color button color everything you,want you can change the,product loading size by,come here,search,read loader,and you can change the products,collection.products by limit you can,change the number you want you can,change it to 50,and rate,anything,i'll let it as,before that's all thanks for watching my,tutorial if this helps you please,subscribe to my channel and like this,video if you face any difficulties,uh comment down in the comment sec

good evening this is a short screencast,to demonstrate how to set up a floating,category list in Java fly a lot of,Shopify themes have a left-hand sidebar,and that makes them a good candidate for,using categories uncomplicated but some,themes don't have a left-hand sidebar so,if I look at my products store here,actually at the moment there's no,left-hand sidebar showing if I scroll,down here the products go full width of,the page this is very good for,responsive design it's very common that,new themes like this one which is called,debut often don't have a left-hand,sidebar so I designed a new floating,category list to deal with that so we're,going to go through the process of,importing products if I select products,import I'm going to import them from a,CSV Sheet upload that file and it shows,me there are 53 products in the sheet,and picks out the first one and text,that's right so I start that import,process this will now take a few minutes,to complete great so now I've got a list,of products here and I got those set up,inside my store the next step is to,start grouping into collections and,making categories and arranging those,categories in a hierarchy before we get,started I'm going to go through to the,app so I go through to the floating,category list and complicated app and I,see this page this is a default starting,page I've got a storefront password set,up at the moment so if I enter that,password and click refresh it pulls from,the menu system the list of categories,we have so far now at the moment this is,a vanilla store I've just uploaded some,products to it so there are no,categories set up and so the next stage,now is to create a few collections to,put products into those collections and,then use the menu system to point up,those collections to build our and,category list so I select collections,create collection I'm throwing one,called,photography I could give it a,description but I'm not going to do that,at the moment again it could use,automatic tagging to select the products,but for now I'm going to keep it really,simple and manually select products I'm,going to edit the website SEO so I've,got a nice URL structure happy with that,collections flash photography looks good,and save collection I'll leave this as,is,but I will create another collection,this one I'll call cameras again,manually selected I'm going to edit the,search and optimization the URL path,there to show cameras as a subcategory,of photography so we're getting a dash,in there because shopper the Shopify,does not allow us to put slashes save,this collection and this time I'm going,to add some products our search for,cameras I'll select the cameras and put,them inside this collection we've got a,couple more one and two great and sorted,and next we'll we'll create another,collection called lighting equipment,again manual again on that nice vseo to,say this photography lighting equipment,here I'll add some product now these,products there we go a couple of those,and I

hello and welcome to the end of the,sandbox video guide for the demo shop,import feature the demo shop import,feature is a feature of our theme,updater app it is currently available,for a Flex Shopify theme the demo shop,import feature allows you to fast track,a shop setup based on one of the Flex,demo shops this means that all the theme,settings layout content and sections,used in the demo shop of your choosing,well then get applied to your theme the,Flex theme currently has 12 demo shops,to choose from with more to come all the,twelfth demo shops are listed in the,demo shop import feature but let's just,take a look at a couple just so you get,a sense of what some of these demo shops,look like so quickly going through the,nura shop here so if you import the demo,shop all the content images sections,will all get applied the mode a demo,shop so if you're to import the mode a,demo shop that means that the vertical,header layout will get applied to your,shop right away and again all the,sections and content would be there and,here's the techno demo shop so that just,kind of gives you a sense of some of the,demo shops available but again there are,currently 12 with more that we're,working on so in order to use the demo,shop import feature you'll have to,download our theme updater app which is,available in the Shopify app store once,you install the app he'll then be,available in your apps panel if you,click into Shopify theme updater in,order to access the demo shop import,feature when you see your Flex theme,you'll just have to click the actions,button and click import demo shop this,will then bring you to the theme demos,page where all the demo shops,the flex theme are listed there will be,some instructions at the top which are,also super helpful to read through under,the instructions for the demo shop and,work feature you'll see this button that,says view image import instructions,we're also providing you with the,placeholder images that we've used in,our demo shops we recommend uploading,the images first so that way when you,import the demo shop the images will be,populated for you in order to import the,images you can click this view image,import instructions button and then,follow the steps here to download the,images and upload them in your Shopify,admin so back to the theme demos page in,the demo shop import feature you can,then view all the 12 demo shops here and,when we have created more demo shops,they will also be added to this page so,each listing has the demo shop title,with a description you can then click to,preview the demo shop and then import it,once you're ready one thing to note is,that importing the demo shop overwrites,any existing theme settings and options,so you just might want to create a,duplicate of your theme first if you,want to have a backup copy so once,you're ready to choose your demo shop,you'd like to import you can just click,the import button,a warning pop-up will just remind you,that it's going to replace all the

hey it's klaus here with another,e-commerce coffee break this time i will,do another shopify theme review,and we will look into the flex theme of,out of the sandbox so let's get right,into it,so here we are on my shopify partner,demo store,and the team of out of the sandbox,was nice to give me a free test license,to show you the flex theme so you can,see here we are on the preview of the,store,and i have not done a lot i just went in,briefly,and did change a few things and,i want to show you basically the back,end obviously on,the theme library of shopify if you go,in there in the steam store,you will find flex look for flex from,out of the sandbox,and they have a couple of demo stores,which are fully,layouted and whatsoever that you can,have a look at,for me it's more important to show you,the back end because obviously that's,where you want to work on,so i said this is the demo store that i,have right now,and now let's dive into the back and,then see what the theme has,so the um out of the sandbox gives you a,um app which is called a theme updater,and with the theme updated then you can,install,there are different themes so you will,see here flex is here,and let's go into customize and see,what's happening in the back end of that,theme,let's move this over here,so um it starts and showing you the home,page here but i actually want to start,with the theme settings down here,so the theme settings gives you the,basic um settings for,the flex theme and there's a couple of,things that you can,do here i want to say flex has a lot of,options,implemented in the theme which is a good,thing,because it might save you money on,hiring a software developer,for certain features because they are,already in there,on the other hand it might be a bit,confusing and a bit of a learning curve,when you start working with the theme so,here we have a couple of options,announcement bar which is up here um you,can put this on and off obviously,i would always recommend having a,notification bar up there,as you know it's gone it's also called a,hello bar announcement bar,notification bar it's all the same word,um for the same thing or different words,for the same thing,up here i would always have some,information on promotions,on free shipping you have seen that on,many sites,but it has been proven very very useful,then you can already have a pop-up in,here,so you don't need to have another app,for implementing a pop-up,the theme comes already with a pop-up,generator in there which can be quite,handy um,but depending on what kind of features,you want to have for your pop-up so for,instance,you want to have a timed pop-up for,not only exit intent pop-up you might,want to go for an,app nevertheless and then you can have,a couple of a fixed message bar here so,that would be another bar i wouldn't go,for too many bars on top of here you,want to keep,your header very very narrow so that the,main content,of your store always is on the screen,without scrolling down,one interestin
