in today's video I'm going to be showing,you how you can set up pre-orders on,your Shopify store now there are a,number of reasons why you might want to,set up pre-orders firstly of course is,if you run out of stock on your product,you can always go and set up a back,order to allow people to continue to,purchase your products even when it's,out of stock and secondly it's a really,great method for testing new products so,maybe you want to set up a new product,for your eCommerce store but you don't,want to buy lots of inventory up front,so you can mitigate this risk by,purchasing just one sample of the,product taking some nice pictures and,then you can go and sell it on pre-order,if it sells well then you can go and,purchase the rest of the product in bulk,and if it doesn't sell well then you can,just go and continue on testing new,products and you haven't wasted all your,money on inventory that you can't sell,so in order to do this we'll be using,this app here called pre-order manager,so I will leave a link in the,description to the pre-order manager,Shopify app and if you go and have a,look it does start at 24.95 per month,and you can set up unlimited pre-order,products you can set up pre-order,discounts back in stock email alerts and,you can do pre-orders by different,countries so maybe you've run out of,stock in a particular country or you,want to test a product in a particular,country and you can set it up as a,pre-order and as you can see this app,has a 4.4 star rating on the Shopify App,Store and over 900 ratings so it is a,really great app for setting up,pre-orders so like I said I'll leave a,link in the description and from here,all you need to do is click on add app,once you click on that then you simply,click on install app and from here you,simply need to approve the subscription,for the app and from here you need to,just follow a few more installation,steps so click on check if theme store,is 2.0 it will then hopefully say,successfully detected on your theme and,then you can click on apply pre-order,button now once you click on that,hopefully it will say pre-order button,applied and now you can click on preview,to see if that pre-order button has been,installed correctly so we can see on the,product page we now have pre-order and,it says we will fulfill the order as,soon as it becomes available so now we,know that that pre-order button is,working correctly we can just go and,choose yes however if it hasn't,installed correctly you can click on no,contact support and the support team,will help to get everything set up for,you so now that we have done that we can,click on setup complete once you click,on that you will be brought over to the,pre-order manager dashboard and from,here you can basically see how many,pre-order sales you have made and other,analytics but the first thing I want to,show you is how you can set up different,types of pre-orders so we are going to,go to products and from here you will,see all of the products in your

in september 2021 shopify launched,shopify markets which allows you to sell,internationally from your shopify store,it allows you to convert your store into,multiple different currencies it allows,you to translate your storefront into,different languages it allows you to add,local payment methods to your checkout,depending on which country your customer,is coming from and it also allows you to,add custom domains to your store,depending on which country your customer,is coming from so in today's tutorial,i'm going to be showing you how to set,up shopify markets for your drop,shipping and e-commerce shopify stores,so let's get straight into it so the,first thing you're going to have to do,is sign up for shopify markets so we'll,leave a link in the description to the,shopify markets sign up page so you can,just go to shopify dot co uk slash,markets or shopify.com markets depending,on which country you're in or you can,just google sign up for shopify markets,all you then need to do is click on,login to get started and it will ask you,to log in to your shopify store and then,you can just click apply for access for,shopify markets once you click on apply,for access,hopefully after a few weeks you should,receive an email like this which will,say we're excited to let you know that,your store has been selected for early,access to shopify markets from here it,will say you can now navigate to the,shopify markets in your admin so just,click on here in the email it will then,bring you to your shopify settings and,then you will be in the shopify markets,area so from here you can add a market,which basically means you can add a,country that you want to start selling,to so all you need to do is click on add,market now from here you can choose a,market name so this is going to be the,country or region that you want to,target so i can come in here let's just,say spain for example then you can add,countries and regions so you can choose,a bunch of countries or just one country,so let's say for example i chose south,america i could go and add all of the,south american countries to my market,but for this example i'm just going to,use one country so we are just going to,go and type in spain and then i'm just,going to go and choose this and click on,done now from here all you need to do is,hit save and now from here it will bring,you to that market and it will say,active so there are a few things that we,need to set up in order to actually,start selling to this international,market so the first thing we are going,to set up is the domains and languages,so we are going to go to manage and from,here it's going to say market domains,and subfolders so under the subfolders,it will automatically set up a suffix,for this market so you can see it's put,es which is going to be for spain so i'm,just going to leave that as the default,but you can name it differently if you,want to but i do recommend just leaving,it as the default that shopify,recommends next up we are going to wan

I got targeted on YouTube recently by an,ad from this company called shaper men,who are selling shapewear which is a,kind of popular trendy product that,women wear underneath their clothes to,try and give them a bit of a better,figure now I don't have a newfound,interest in shapewear it's probably,because I go on a lot of sites and drop,shipping sites and they probably,targeted me because I may have clicked,on one of their ads before to see what,type of products they're selling but it,got me thinking about how easy would it,be to actually go and replicate a big,reputable companies store just like this,one now shape women are a fairly big,company if you go and have a look at,their Facebook page we can see they're,156 thousand likes so they are quite a,big company and like I said it got me,thinking about how easy would it be to,set up a drop shipping store and,actually go and replicate and model my,store on what they're doing so the first,thing I did was go and actually see if I,could find a product similar to the,products that they're selling so,whenever to Aliexpress and I just went,attacked in shapewear and had a look at,what products came up now I filtered it,out by having a look at which ones,shipped from the US and I found this,really good product here so it's got,over 1,700 reviews 4.8 so fairly good,product and a fairly decent price so,it's around $16 so I could probably sell,this for something up to $30 and as you,can see this product ships from the,United States between 4 to 7 days so,really short shipping time so this is,the kind of ideal product that you would,be looking for and then like I said it,kind of got me thinking about how easy,would it be to set up a store and,replicate what shape them into they're,doing so here is the store that I have,built and I just want to go and very,quickly show you how the kind of,similarities between shaper min and this,store here and how easy is that to go,and set up a store that's similar to a,massive companies store so the first,thing I did I will I'm gonna and had a,look at the kind of layout that they're,using now obviously they have a lot more,products the one I've set up here is a,one product store so you can see I've,just pretty much copied their layout and,their branding now it's really easy to,copy the branding of a store if you get,something called eye picker which is,eyedropper sorry which is a Chrome,extension you can just go and,colors from any webpage so I've just,gone and picked the same branding colors,that shape him into using and I've put,them on the store I've created and then,the second thing I've done like I said I,went and had to look at the layout of,the store this is really easy to,replicate so you can see over here we,have a kind of banner over here showing,people wearing the shapewear or wearing,the product and then we have this area,here so where shapewear loud and proud,and just a picture of women wearing it,and then after that we have this area,here so just some icons and
