okay,so the first thing you're going to want,to do is just go to shopify.com,once you get there you want to log in,you should already have it pulled up you,shouldn't have to enter any login info,um you're just going to want to log in,make sure,you know you have your correct login,info all that stuff,and it'll just take a couple seconds to,load,okay and it's loaded,so that's not important we don't need,that um,you're just going to want to go um,mostly just focus on the left menu,over here you're going to want to click,products,okay and then you're going to see a list,of all of the products that we have,on the site currently so,active status means that showing draft,means it's not showing,you're going to want to click the green,button on the top,add product,okay so there here you're going to have,the title field,you're going to have a field for the,description and then also a picture,okay price all that good stuff goes here,we don't really need any of that other,stuff um so the most important thing,next thing you're going to want to do is,go to amazon.com,all right so amazon has pulled up now,you're basically just going to want to,enter,uh whatever book that you want to put on,the site,um i just picked a random book,for this example i chose jubilee,and not that one,uh this one okay,so you just want to click it to open it,up,all right this is the kindle edition so,i'm just gonna,click over to the hardcover oh,actually not that one mcdougall it's not,the one we want,uh let's try paperback,okay yeah so this will do um so you're,just gonna wanna,left click,drag drag the cursor all the way over,until you get to the end of the title of,the book,all right then you're going to want to,right click and it's going to bring up,this menu,you're going to hit copy,awesome so now we have the title of the,book copied,and ready to be pasted into,the title category in shopify so you,just want you're just going to switch,tabs,you're going to right click menu is,going to pop back up,and you're going to click paste and,before you do that make sure that you,click,in the title field all right so now,you're going to want to click in the,description field,to get it ready shift back over to the,amazon tab,all right so now we're just going to,copy the description over here,read more you can copy as much or as,little as you want to,i chose to do the entire description,just for the example,alright so here i left click and dragged,the cursor all the way to the end,of where i want to stop,again right click bring up the menu,again click copy,that's going to copy the text for you,then you're going to want to right click,inside the description field,inside this white box right here it's,going to bring up the menu again,click paste,all right so now we have the description,from amazon,pasted into this white box here which is,the description for the book,all right so now we're going to add the,picture,okay so you're going to want to,put your mouse over the over the picture,you're going

sign up for shopify by starting your,two-week trial or choosing a plan that,works for you,follow the prompts to create your,profile,to start selling your books through your,shopify store you will begin by creating,a product,click on products then click add product,give your product a title description,and add product photos under media,add the price in the pricing box leave,the charge tax on this product box,checked,under inventory uncheck the track,quantity box,under shipping,set the weight of your product as one,pound we will use this later when,setting up shipping options,click save at the bottom,then change the status of the product to,active at the top of the page,click save again,navigate to the shopify app store by,clicking apps on the left side of the,page,click customize your store then search,for lulu direct,locate the app from the search results,and click on it then click add app,follow the prompts to add the lulu,direct app to your store,if you do not have a lulu.com account,click register and create one now,once you're signed into the lulu direct,app navigate back to your shopify,products and click into the product you,created earlier,at the top right click on more actions,then connect with lulu direct this will,drop you into the product configurator,in this instance we will be creating a,book project,leave book as the product type and drag,your interior pdf into the interior,upload box,once your interior pdf is uploaded and,approved you will be able to choose the,specs of your project,continue choosing your book options then,upload your cover by dragging your cover,pdf into the cover upload box,after your cover pdf is uploaded and,approved,you can review your print-ready pdfs and,view a live preview of your book,once you've completed your project,configuration the save button will be,clickable at the bottom of the page,click save,now you have your shopify product,connected to a lulu project,the next step is to set up your shipping,options,lulu now offers the option to,automatically pass our shipping costs,directly to your customers,if you have shopify plus the advanced,shopify plan or would like to pay an,additional fee to enable this feature it,can be found on the lulu direct settings,page,click into the app click on more actions,then settings,simply scroll to the bottom and click,connect to lulu's live shipping rates if,you would like to set up your shipping,options manually navigate to shopify,settings at the bottom left corner then,click on shipping and delivery,now you'll create a shipping profile,that only includes the products that are,connected to your lulu direct projects,next to custom shipping rates click,create new profile,name it something like lulu books,then click add products,add all of your lulu connected products,then click done,click save on this page,once you have your profile set up and,products added you'll then create your,shipping zones,click manage rates next to the custom,shipping option you just created,cl

hello Dan from book bugs and dragon,tails here just doing a quick video to,show you how to upload your bird line,stock into WooCommerce and WordPress so,in boat line if you go to your back,office and click on reports and then go,to your custom reports if you've spoken,to me already you should have a report,in there that says one web export book,bugs notice the branding there I can,change its name if you want click on it,and click on print and then really,important here click on the print to,file tick box it should predefined the,location where it's going to save it if,you just click OK click OK again and it,will save the latest stock file into,that folder ok so that folder should,exist if you about line user because we,always create it so now you want to pop,into WordPress so go to your website,login and on the top left menu go to,dashboard okay if you've got loop,commerce already installed it's a plugin,so if you haven't then you can store,that fairly easily it's free,it'll take PayPal payments anyway yes go,to products on the left hand side and,then all products and then if you've,already got products in there you'll see,a list of products but you've got an,import option there as well so click on,import and then you'll be able to choose,the file that we've just saved for boat,line so click on choose file if you've,done it before it should remember where,the file is otherwise browse to your see,a folder select test dot CSV,it's called test because I'm bother to,change it since I tested it leave this,I'm ticked lets you update existing,stock which will become useful later,so leave it untucked click on import and,then because of the way I've designed,this report it should know where it's,putting all of the Berk line data into,WordPress so just select the only one,you should need to change is this tags,one where you'll want to change it to,space separated otherwise click import,and you're off it should import all of,your stock with your images and your,yeah you'll then be able to update them,later point this takes a little while if,you want to skip you polio I couldn't,work out on this software how to fast,forward so you can fast forward to about,five minutes and fifty two and will pick,up again if you want to carry on,listening I'm gonna put some music on,for you,then makes me smile,but okay so that's finished as you can,see it's just updated or insert the new,ones for me because I already have my,stock in there now I'm gonna do is go,back twice and run that import again but,ticking this box to just update things,now if you're having trouble with stop,going in it might be because the images,aren't it takes too long to load the,images so you can just go and import,without the images the first time and,then import just with SKU selected and,images selected at 10 that can work a,lot quicker it's not a problem for my,site but I have run across other,customer sites possibly with slow,broadband where as being a problem so,yeah now if you were doing an i

hi this is theo from hops and we're,going to talk about,basically adding a third-party website,into your,shopify website now um,i know that this question is basically,talking about how to embed,a third-party website into shopify,there's no real way to code that in but,we can,um use a hyperlink in so to give you an,example,kind of a basic example um let's,see here what we're going to do is let's,just take uh,one of my websites,and third party website we're going to,pop it into this shopify store,i'm just going to place it anywhere so,i'm just for for an example um,to use an example you want to place this,link,as a hyperlink on a page so you could,use a product page for this or you could,use like your about us page,for the purposes of this i'm going to,use the about us page,and put that in there so here's,and actually there's already a hyperlink,here to give you an example,so you can see here we have the,hyperlink here that that leads to,the actual llc company that owns this,particular website,and again we're going to just add,another one of those right now,so i'm just going to put here marketing,okay and,i'm gonna copy that url i'm gonna,highlight,what i want to link to insert link,there and then you have the option to,have it be open in the same window,meaning,just take over where your current,website is,or open it in a new tab for a new window,insert link and save okay so now i'm,going to,click view and it's going to show,a hyperlink there's the previous,hyperlink that i already had on this,page,and let's see here let's,do it again sometimes it takes a second,to,refresh the page let me just refresh the,whole whole shopify account right now,and we'll view that page one more time,all right there we go,and let's see it didn't,looks like it'll take,so what we're going to do save that,like so let's try that one more time,there it is at the bottom so we'll click,that and boom it opens up to the site,okay and then you can obviously see the,other hyperlink here as well,so that's how you do that i know that's,probably,pretty remedial however what we're going,to want to do is just make sure,that we um embed embed that correctly,there's unfortunately no way to actually,code a website in but you,can embed a hyperlink into your site,and have it linked straight to that,another way you could do that,is you can believe you can,hyperlink into a menu option,should be able to let's try that here,sure can so here's what i'm doing i'm,putting that link,into the into my navigation,okay yeah here's what this is going to,happen is what's going to happen,now i'm going to go to the website and,when i click on home,it is going to link to that hyperlink,see that so there you go so there's,a couple different ways you can do that,however i recommend if you're going to,do hyperlink,uh in bed that's probably the best way,to do it onto a page you can also do it,on the footer as well which would be a,menu,and that's the way the best do it,alright thank you

hello um,so bookshop.org launch today um a lot of,you have been asking me,and i've seen a lot of questions in the,various forums we're part of,how you can create some good lists to,uh to put onto bookshop.org,um so what i wanted to show you was how,you can use some of the information that,is in edelweiss plus analytics,to get that to get a list from there,and quickly upload it a really quick win,basically,so first thing you'll need to do is open,up,um analytics so,if i just go onto my analytics page so,i'm on my home page at the moment um,where you want to be is,in analytics now most of you will have,this already if you're contributing your,data,if you don't see that there then contact,me and we can,activate it for you um so,we're looking at the at the moment the,top 50 titles in the uk trade in,this list here this top row um the list,i wanted to produce,was upcoming titles uh famously,difficult to,kind of figure out what to feature and,what other people,are you know what what sort of meta in,terms of,people are talking about and this is a,really good list,first thing you'll want to do is adjust,your lane because bookshop.org likes,lists,of 50 books um and by default,if we click on this cog here your number,of titles will probably be set to 200.,so you can change it down to 50. that,just means when you,finally export it you'll only get 50 you,won't need to filter,out any or anything like that now i've,also put a publication date,of the 10th um that's because i didn't,want to,like come to tomorrow and find that half,the books have been published and they,were no longer not yet released,so i'm going to go from the 10th oops i,just need to log in again,so i'm going to go from the 10th,so um and at the moment,i've got all 50 showing um,the yellow part of this portion are,books that i've already got on order,um but that's not really relevant for,bookshop.org because they're coming,straight from gardeners,uh we want the whole list uh the tiny,little green portion by the way are the,ones we've actually had delivered as,well,now i could just export this list,um and that would be that that would be,a perfectly valid,list but i'm going to go a little bit,more refined,so over on the left hand side you can,refine,your selection um now the the sort of,generic refinements you can make are,based on bit code subjects,and you can see all the bit codes are in,here,and you can drill down into them if you,want to um,i'm not going to i'm just going to go,give me a good children's list,okay so it's got rid of all the,not children stuff um and,uh and there we've got a list of,upcoming children's titles,that um other people that other,bookshops,are ordering heavily okay uh,unfortunately we've got peppa pig in,there sorry about that,um i'm joking uh,so once you've got a list that you're,happy with a selection of books that,you're happy with,if we click on view titles in grid,now what you will see is all of the,books,listed in here one to fifty,okay so they are in order o
