Transforming Shopify's FREE Theme Craft into a DARK Tech Theme

in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's free theme craft into a dark,tech theme this is a really simple,transformation that anyone can do i'm,going to walk you through each of my,settings and i have also created a free,cheat sheet for you which you can,download for free through our private,facebook group,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,so first things first let's take a quick,look at what craft looks like before,now let's get into transforming this,theme,alright so first things first you will,need to install craft so from your,shopify dashboard click online store,scroll to where you can see free themes,and click explore free themes,from there select craft,and add the theme to your library,i'm going to walk you through all my,settings in this video and i will be,popping up the settings on the side like,this for easy viewing and as i mentioned,i've also created a cheat sheet,containing all the settings on one page,which i've posted in our private,facebook group,okay with the theme installed click,customize and let's get started,first we're going to work on colors so,click theme settings,colors and follow along with me,once you get to accent one gradient if,you click on the circle you will be,presented with several presets to choose,from,the one i use for this design is this,one right here,by now you will have entered all of your,colors so you can now select them from,here to speed up the process,all right let's save our work and let's,move on to the next section,the next section we are working on is,the checkout which you can find at the,bottom here,from the drop down at the top select,checkout so you can see your changes,where it says form fields we are going,to switch it from light to transparent,save your work and we are going to move,on to typography,from the drop down select home page,then select typography,we are going to use the font pop-ins so,go ahead and start typing that in and,when it appears you can go ahead and,click on it,and then we're going to change this from,regular to bold,we are going to change the body text to,poppins as well,and then select medium,the last thing to do here is to change,the heading font size scale up to 125,percent,save your work and we are finished here,now it's time to move on to the home,page settings,when it comes to the sections you can,really add or remove whatever you'd like,in order to best suit your store but,there are a few settings that i've,changed on the homepage that i'm going,to show you the first thing is the logo,click on header,upload your logo,change the desktop position to middle,left,and then change the size to 160 px,as for the sections you can set these up,however you want do what works best for,your products and what you sell i filled,most of the default sections in i,removed the blog pos

hello guys and welcome to this very,simple Shopify Dawn theme tutorial in,this video I'm going to show you how to,add a black line under your header that,is much more clear and then also how to,add this white space,on top if that's what you want obviously,if you want to just bleed the banner,into the black line that's completely up,to you I'm just going to show you how to,do both of those things the code is very,simple I'm going to show you exactly,where to put the code and if you do like,this video please show that you like it,because I'm spending a lot of time,making Shopify videos and,I'm just trying to help people because,Dawn theme is quite complicated and a,lot of the videos are out of date,at the end of this video there's going,to be a playlist that will take you to,all the up-to-date videos about Dawn,theme that I'm currently making and,without further Ado let's get straight,into it so let me show you what it looks,like without the black line and without,the space so let me just,okay so this is what the default Dawn,theme looks like,um and personally I like a nice black,line and my header and then under that,black line just to keep things nice and,clean I prefer to have a big white space,that you can also see on mobile so let's,talk about how to actually do it,I will leave all of the code that I use,in this video in the description in some,kind of article I'm not sure what form,that will take but you'll be able to,find everything in the description first,thing you're going to do is go to themes,and go to action and go to edit code,and then we're going to open base dot,CSS this is relevant to all Dawn two,point uh sorry Shopify 2.0 themes,and then what we're going to do is we're,going to search,so you have to literally physically,click inside the code editor and then,search for header and then press enter,look for Section header like this okay,uh it's online two two one seven on Dawn,currently but this will change so what,you're looking for is this specific,piece of code right here,once you find this bit of code so where,it says hashtag hashtag Shopify section,header all you want to do is Click like,enter once so you're underneath it and,then you want to basically give it a,border bottom like this so border hyphen,bottom,colon 5px space solid space black and,then make sure that this little symbol,is here and then all you want to do is,hit save,and then you always want to have your,store open in another tab okay so I'm,going to hit refresh here and as you can,see there is the black line like I said,but I also want to add some white space,so what I'm going to look for now is,um Banner so search for Banner and then,we want the CSS of section image Banner,like this and then we're going to add,some margin,to the top of this Banner so not margin,bottom but margin top and we'll make it,um 2.4 REM,or is it Rim 2.4,okay it's the number first so 2.4 Ram,like that that will keep it so on mobile,it won't look weird,let's just refresh that again it did

in today's video we are going to,transform the beautifies default theme,from this,to this,if you've been wanting to update your,theme and don't want to spend hours,trying to get the colors right you are,in the right place because i'm going to,show you my exact settings and give you,a cheat sheet as well so that you can,quickly and easily recreate this look,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products drop,shipping shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,so first things first if you don't have,debutify already you will need to,download it we have a link in our,description box where you can download,it for free now before we transform the,theme i want to show you what the theme,looks like before,um,now that we know what we are working,with let's get to the fun part and start,transforming this theme,from your shopify dashboard click online,store,and then next to your debutify theme,click customize,now click on theme settings,and select colors,alright so i'm going to pop up the,colors at the side of the screen here so,that you can follow along with me if you,want the full cheat sheet it will be,posted in our private facebook group you,can find the link in our description box,all right so begin entering in the hex,codes as you see them here,this will get easier as you go on,because once you enter in the colors,once they will appear here and then you,can begin selecting them from here,instead of typing them in one by one,now this blue color that i've entered in,here is our accent color i would,recommend switching this color to match,your logo so if you have green in your,logo maybe swap this color out for green,this is going to make the theme look,more custom and look like it was made,just for you,this link slash accent color will change,the little dot at the top of the card as,well as these icons down here so if you,want a more monochrome look you could,set this as white i personally like a,little pop of color so i'm going to,leave it as blue but it's your call,okay so now we're going to adjust the,drawer section this section is for the,flyout menu when you click add to cart,i'll show you here in just a second,all right our next section is our footer,area,okay that looks pretty good now let's,save our work before we move on to the,next section,our next section is checkout so you,would go to theme settings and then,scroll all the way to the bottom until,you see the word checkout,i want to be able to see what i'm doing,so i'm going to navigate to my checkout,first,you could also do this by selecting,checkout from the drop down here,all right let's get to customizing this,area,by the way if you type in numbers here,you're going to see that the text color,is too dark to see don't worry about,this because when you preview your store,it does not appear this way i don't know,why it looks this way in the preview but,i assure you it do

How To Add Dark Mode in Dawn Theme Shopify [Without APP]

I turned a FREE Shopify Theme into a One Product Store for Dropshippers!

in today's video we are going to turn,shopify's newest free theme refresh into,a simple easy to set up one product,Dropship store,before we get into the video if you like,videos about winning products Drop,Shipping Shopify themes apps and,tutorials do us a favor and hit that,subscribe button and turn notifications,on now let's get into the video alright,first things first we need to install,refresh to do that click online store,themes,and then scroll down to the bottom where,it says explore free themes,chocolate,select refresh,and click add to theme Library,once it's finished installing click,customize,the first thing we're going to do is,adjust the colors so click on theme,settings,colors,and follow along with me,just a quick note with these gradients,I'm choosing colors that match my,product I chose the orangey gradient,because of the color on the sleeves and,the purple because of the product photos,but feel free to choose a different,gradient that better matches your,product,oh,thank you,foreign,go ahead and save your work I know this,looks a little strange right now but we,will adjust everything when we work on,the sections by the way if you guys want,a cheat sheet with screenshots of my,settings colors the text I used as well,as the AliExpress link to the product I,feature in this theme join our private,Facebook group I'll be posting it there,you can find the link in our description,box,all right up next we are going to adjust,the checkout colors so from the drop,down select checkout,click theme settings,checkout,the first thing I'm going to do is,Select my logo you can't see it right,now because it's white but as soon as we,change the background color you will,next I'm going to change the background,color,change the form fields from white to,transparent,change this background color,the accent color,and the button color,save your work and head back to the home,page,for the home page I won't add any text,here yet all we're going to do right now,is set up the sections starting at the,top with the announcement bar I decided,to go with the other greeting I set up,so I'm going to select accent 2.,next I'm going to click on header,I'm going to change the color scheme to,background one,select my logo,and increase the width to 250 PX,then Under menu I'm going to remove the,menu this is a one product store so we,don't need any Links at the top,last but not least deselect enable,sticky header no need to have the Top,Bar following us around since we don't,have any menu links,moving on to the slideshow I'm going to,remove the third slideshow block because,I only need two,next change the desktop content position,to Middle right I won't be uploading the,slideshow image just yet but the image,size I used was 1920x620,by default I have a featured collection,section here which I'm going to delete,your sections might look a little,different than mine but not to worry,keep following along and I'll show you,which ones to keep,what I want here instead is a featu
