it's crazy to see just how far some,businesses can scale on Shopify and in,today's video we're going to be breaking,down in the simplest terms one of these,stores that last year was bought out for,475 million dollars and this will serve,as a cool case study for how far you can,go but also how these Brands operate at,this level that's what I'm really,excited to get into so let's not waste,any time and let's get right into it so,the store is called hyperx you may have,heard of it before if you haven't then,here it is and what it is it's basically,a computer technology type store right,like a gaming store however they don't,just appeal to Gamers it's a bit broader,they also do streaming gear and stuff,like that now that's something,interesting right there streaming gear,so streaming as a whole is actually a,booming Trend so as you see it kind of,went up back in 2010 like a decade ago,then it went down a lot and this is,where it really picked up again and now,it's at an all-time high streaming is,definitely an interesting way of,producing content for people and,definitely growing and these Brands here,are kind of the brands providing the,shovels right when people say in a gold,rush sell shovels this brand is,literally selling shovels for streamers,that's kind of the way that I imagine a,lot of these things but as you see the,store is really nice and also quite,simple you know it's really not that,crazy I feel like any of us could build,a Shopify store like this I'm sure you,can find a paid theme that has a lot of,these features a lot of this motion,design into it and it just looks really,clean now here's another thing on the,home pitch that we can break down that,is really smart and a lot of these big,Shopify companies do which is creating a,community feel right adding an Instagram,feed here of user generated content,people actually using the products from,the brand like they say we're all Gamers,hyperx family they're trying to build,this family feel even at this level,right that's what's crazy now let me,show you the traffic distribution here,before we move on to the next thing,they're getting over 1.7 million monthly,visitors that's a pretty insane amount,of visitors it's super consistent as,well and it's coming from all different,directions so they're running a really,nice omnipresent approach not only when,it comes to paid media but also with,Organic content so of course this is not,realistic for someone who's a one-man,team if you're just starting but for the,brains that are watching that are,starting to hire starting to build out,an infrastructure I personally think,it's really smart to build an,omnipresent organic approach so let me,show you for example here hyperx is,booming on Instagram right they're doing,super well on Instagram posting a lot of,Instagram reels which is really smart,taking advantage of the short form,content boom is for sure a good idea and,as you see they're getting 100K views on,some of these videos organically and I'm,su

hello,and welcome to the member showcase today,i'm delighted to be joined by the lovely,beverly mirror,uh beverly is a dual ama,and dmi member and has recently,certified with the dmi pro,and the ama's pcm certification,she's an active cpd member and works,within the non-for-profit,sector as a marketing communications,professional,and i'm delighted to have you here today,beverly thanks for joining me thank you,so much i'm so honored for the,invitation,uh beverly just to kick the interview,off i'd love to hear a little bit more,about you,so why don't you just tell us a little,bit about your career and background,today,well you know i i love when i think,about my career journey because,it is quite diverse um and,what it really for me displays is the,evolution,of marketing communications i started my,career,in on the advertising side of the,business and i'm very proud to have,started my career,with burrell communications group uh,burrell communications group is the i,would say the leading multicultural,marketing agency,uh in the world founded by thomas j,burrell,and um it was really an honor to start,my career there,uh as a media planner buyer,working on a number of uh global brands,most notably um coca-cola mcdonald's,ford motor company,um strawbrewery and uh,from there i transitioned in,through a number of opportunities was,able to,work at leo burnett on procter gamble,and uh but decided i wanted to make a,change,and at that time the changes i wanted to,make was,not necessarily something that was the,norm most people were siloed if you were,um media you stayed in the media,department if you were uh in an account,executive role you stayed in the account,management role i transitioned into,public relations,and um in making that transition i,worked for the united states census,bureau as a media partner specialist,and was very proud to work on the,2000 census and that was a very,interesting opportunity because that was,the first time that the u.s census,bureau,actually did a public uh marketing,campaign,to encourage the response,for the to the senses and that was,for me a very uh very proud moment to be,a part of that,initial launch and now it's the norm for,the u.s census bureau to do that,um from there i was very proud to be a,part of,the illinois state office for aarp,and to be a part of how that brand has,emerged um and and now to see where it,is today is just amazing,and um right now i am currently with the,american institutes for research,where i uh am providing communicate,marketing communication support,for the district and school improvement,center where we provide,transformational capacity building,support,for districts and schools and it's it's,a,it's a great honor to be a part of an,organization,that is so mission focused in being able,to build equity,uh and improve the lives of people so,it's it's a great balance of research,evaluation,and providing that to technical,assistance and with evidence-based,solutions,oh perfect thanks beverly an

hey guys white here from drip apps calm,and just as promised we're going to,stick to the theme of EECOM Shopify and,SEO today we're going to be talking,about viral traffic viral content and,all kinds of marketing that you can use,to just bring in tons of organic traffic,to your store so right now I have an,example of Shopify store pulled up for,Boston Terriers I just quickly want to,show you what an example shop looks like,this one only has five or six products,but usually you'll have a lot more,products and what's great about these,physical EECOM stores is that when,people are browsing they just buy you,don't need to sell them you don't need,to create a long sales video or you know,a long post convincing them to buy or,warming up the traffic they literally if,you can get them to your site whether,it's from a blog post or you know a,Pinterest image it doesn't matter once,they're here they're going to start,browsing around and as long as you've,gotten the right people your site for,example someone who's passionate about,Boston Terriers then there's a good,chance that something on here will,appeal to them and they'll end up,checking out and purchasing something so,our whole goal is just to get people to,this store who are interested in Boston,Terriers and turns out that's actually,pretty easy to do and one of the most,effective strategies to do that is viral,content now we don't want to reinvent,the wheel and try to come up with,content that just goes viral on its own,no no no no that work is already done we,just have to go copy some viral posts,essentially and rework them and and then,just put them on our own blog it's,actually really really simple so there,are two tools that work extremely well,for finding viral content in your niche,and this works for Shopify stores the,best because again we're just trying to,get traffic to our store that's,interested in this topic and then,they'll end up purchasing one of these,physical products but you can do this,for other things as well such as,affiliate SEO sites or just any,informational sites,on the Internet so the two the two tools,that we're going to be using first of,all the aah refs content Explorer by the,way you don't have to use both these,tools one or you know the other will,work so if you already have an H ref,subscription you can easily use their,content explorer and the other one is,buzzsumo which you also need a,subscription for but it's a little bit,cheaper obviously it doesn't do as much,as a h refs does but for this specific,thing that we're going to be doing which,is you know content exploring then it,definitely it definitely works so,starting out with a h refs we're going,to look at the topic of survival so,let's imagine we had a Shopify store all,about survival camping all kinds of,physical products like that or we might,have tents we might have knives we might,have cooking pans I don't know whatever,people in the survival niche like you,know I would have to do my research,there but we c
