yo what up guys welcome to a brand new,video on my channel today we're looking,at another shopify tutorial,so without further ado let's get,straight into the video,so today we're looking at how to,export and import a shopify theme,so let's say you have received a shopify,team from a friend,from a colleague and you want to use it,from your own store for your own store,or you just have another store and want,to duplicate the store,or use the same team like you've paid,for for the,for another store it's pretty simple so,let's say,this is my final store and i have bought,a shopify team,in the team store and i want to use it,for another store,and not pay again for the team what we,need to do,is just click on actions so assuming,this is a team,we want to import into a new store,we want to click on actions scroll down,until we see download team file,from here the team file will,get sent to your email so,let me get that right now so as you can,see,i've received the team file in my email,and all i need to do is just click on,the team export and from here it will be,downloaded to your computer from there,on you,have actually exported your team file,and let's say this is our new store,and we want to import the theme to our,new store,all we need to do is again go to online,store click on teams,from here we scroll down and as you can,see,where we explore three themes,or buy a new team within the shopify,team store you can also click on,add theme right here and if you click on,it,you will get two options upload a zip,file and connect from,github well what we've just did is,downloaded the zip file,so we know all we need to do now is just,click on,upload zip file and as you can see you,can,upload to a maximum file size of 50 mb's,you just click on add file and select,the team click on upload,and show file will do its,job it will take a few minutes so don't,worry if it's,still loading after a minute or two,depending on the side size of your team,and what you've added to the team,it can take up a few minutes so just be,patient,after the team has been uploaded you,will get,this little notification uh saying the,team has been added,to your store from here on uh,the theme has been added to the store,but what we want is,use it for our shopify store so,all we need to do is click on actions,click on publish,and what this will do is um,what this will do is move it to the main,area,so from here on you can,customize your team let's say you,want to use a team but have another,brand you can customize the team right,here,and it will immediately show up at,your url your domain name or your,shopify,store domain name so that's about it,it's pretty simple,pretty straightforward i hope this video,helped you guys out,if you have any further questions about,shopify or,anything else just let me know in the,comments below,and i'm more than happy to help you guys,out in the comment section,and also make a video about it when,that's mandatory,so that's about it for today guys i hope,you

hey this is ryan from web eminence and,in this video i'm going to show you an,option for finding Shopify design themes,that you probably didn't even know,existed,Shopify is a fast growing e-commerce,platform that hosts over 300,000 stores,at the moment most new store owners,browse the Shopify theme store to find a,design for their store and there are,some great themes there I can actually,link to another video I created that,highlights some of their themes but what,many people don't realize is that,template monster one of the Internet's,largest sources for web design templates,actually sells Shopify themes template,monster actually reached out to me and,asked if I would cover their Shopify,themes in a review video so here's my,honest review of purchasing and,installing a Shopify theme from template,monster now I'm on the template monster,homepage and as you can see they have a,ton of themes in different categories,like WordPress themes joomla templates,PrestaShop themes i'm going to go under,the e-commerce template category and,click on Shopify themes you can see,today at the time of this video and they,have 251 themes I think on the Shopify,theme store there's under 100 themes so,obviously you're getting a big selection,by choosing or browsing themes from,template monster so here's a look at,some of their themes you can view them,by category here on the left and then,you can click on any of these themes and,view a live demo after browsing some of,their themes for a while I chose this,one called handbag boutique like some of,the features on the homepage this image,here on a transparent parallax,background is pretty cool at the top you,can see there's this drop-down menu that,can be hidden they have some featured,products another parallax image at the,bottom with a newsletter so a lot of,this can be customized in Shopify most,of their themes are $139 for Shopify at,least I'm going to go ahead and purchase,this by clicking buy now and you'll see,on the Left they do have a bunch of,add-ons you can purchase,like installation or color changes you,can purchase some of the image files to,go with the theme I'm going to just,purchase the single site license for,$139 so I went through the ordering,process it was pretty simple to enter,some information and then I did a PayPal,payment took me back to this page where,it says please keep this page open we,may give you a call to confirm your,order so I'm just going to pause the,video and wait I assume they do this for,security reasons okay someone from,template monster did call me to verify,my name and the fact that I had,purchased something on template monster,and then I was able to verify my email,address and then I was able to go back,to my account and go to the downloads,page and that takes me here where I can,download the Shopify theme it looks like,there's documentation here which I'm,going to take a look at first and that,just takes me to Shopify comm and,information on installing a Shopify,theme so in o

hey guys in today's video we're going to,show you how you can set up your own,demo store on Shopify by using a,developer link basically setting up your,development environment and then set up,your demo store there this is really,useful if you want to test out the,features and integration that YouTube,has with Shopify but also to prepare,demos for to Showcase towards clients,right so this is a really really good,way to set up those demo stores,on the other hand for our certified,Temple Builders they will get assigned a,task at some point to build a chatbot,with a Shopify integration and you will,need to be able to basically connect and,create a development account on Shopify,so the way to do this is as you can see,we can go towards shopify.dev so if we,go there,you will be able to basically sign up,with the option on the top right corner,from here we can sign up with email or,with Google Apple whatever you like to I,will just go with continuing with Google,then I will just grab any of my,credentials,foreign,and from here I can fill in my,credentials that belong to my business,right so I will fill this in and get,back to you as soon as I'm done so as,soon as you're done you can mark the I,have read and agree to the partner,program agreement and then go towards,your view your dashboard,on your dashboard you will basically be,inside your development space,now to be able to build yourself a demo,store the only thing that you need to do,is go to the top left option for stores,and from here you can add a store,so let's add a store,pick a store type and if you want to do,a demo store right it is best to pick,the development store and this is also,needed for the certified Chapel Builders,so do pick your store type which is your,development store,then we have a store name then we can go,and proceed towards the next part so we,have a login right so the login is the,email and then we will need to generate,the password,once that is done we can also create a,store with transfer disabled to use a,developer preview store and this is,something that you can also do this is a,new feature and basically it is add the,developer preview to the store to test,on release features and updates to the,Shopify admin so this is something that,you could do,so you can enable this and it can also,select the developer preview version,that you want to right for now I will,leave this unchecked as we do not need,it and you can go over all your store,details then we have to store purpose so,we can say testing app or team,safe,we'll just take a few seconds to enable,this this store right in order to,connect your store with youjet you will,need to be able to develop an app the,way to do this is by going towards,settings,and you can go to apps and sales,channels and then say develop your app,from here you will be able to allow the,custom app development,so let's go and enable this,and then say allow custom app,development,now we are able to create an app for the,store so let's go and cre

hi everyone in this tutorial we're going,to add a product variant collections,when your products have several variants,the variant will show it as a separate,product this only applies to the,collection list so when i click the,variant collection here these black,saddles are variants in one product but,i am showing it as a single product in,the collection,and you can also provide a second image,to that product so this one right here,is the petal and when i hover it shows,you the second image i,assigned to that variant and we're going,to use the middle build variant for this,one so when you click on this product it,would direct them to the product so it,will show here that it has like several,variants but in the collection it shows,an individual product for each brand,so to start though we have to do the,middle field,i added the section on what to click,when you're using the variant meta field,so we make sure that we're using the,name secondary dash image so in our,admin store we're going to go to,settings,and we're going to go to,meta fields,and we're going to use the variant midi,field,so this is what i have to call this,metaphiles we use this code,so you could just,add a definition and it will add you a,new meta field but this one will not,gonna go through since i used this name,already so i will show you how i made it,so,secondary image and yeah it's already,taken but i'm gonna use,other,you can leave the description blank but,make sure you click this once can use it,on our storefront code,and then you can add select content and,for this one we're going to use the file,and i would suggest not to use video but,if you want to use it it's up to you,i will have only images and i will not,accept all file types because i want,only an image for this one and then all,you have to do is click save,and that's how you do it and to put this,meta field in your variant is to go to,your product so i do have,a product here the saddle doesn't have a,second image so i'm gonna put a second,image to this saddles so to make it,efficient i'll go to my settings,and i'm gonna add files,and then i'm gonna upload them at once,so i'm gonna upload file and i'm gonna,look for the subtle,images so,right here and then click open,and i'm just gonna highlight them all,so ctrl a or can just click and drag to,highlight them all and then click open,now our images are going to be available,to any part of our store you can just,wait for them to load and it shows in,here and then click x to exit,and then we're going to go to our,product so i'm going to find my product,i have full carbon,um yeah this one,uh we're gonna go down here to our,variance,and we're gonna click this edit button,this is my efficient way of doing the,uploads so you just click the edit,button here,and then this is for the red um saddle,so we're gonna add the meta fields right,here click show all,and then we're gonna add our images so,that was red so we're just gonna click,red so see this images are available now,
