How To Design A CUSTOM Shopify Store THAT SELLS!

Hey friends, Andrew here hope you're well. In today's video, I'm going to show you ,one of my favorite Shopify apps to completely customize and transform your store in only about ,10 to 15 minutes from scratch so without wasting time let's jump straight onto my laptop here and ,i'll show you step by step how to build a beautifully custom shopify store with this ,no code page builder app incredibly important considering that your store represents your brand ,and your vision and by the way i'll be giving away this exact store i've built in this video ,to a subscriber more details at the end of this video so to build out a custom shopify ,store today the very first thing you want to do is go on to the shopify app store actual ,first step is to get shopify if you haven't yet already and if you haven't yet already i'll drop ,a link to an extended free trial down below if you want to follow along with this video now ,once you have your shopify store go on to the app store and then this is where we're going to get a ,crucial tool and this app is going to allow us to build and design a shopify store without all ,the custom coding and it's called gem pages right here so gem pages they're known as this no code ,page builder on shopify and it's really useful in building a high converting store without code ,it's essentially a drag and drop builder that myself and the team have used to design custom ,shopify sales pages and the plan of attack today is to create a custom one product store simply by ,using the gem pages drag and drop tools right here i've spent some time before this video ,creating the brand and all the assets like product renders brand name and whatnot i'm calling it to ,charge because we all need to charge our devices that's terrible i know i have all the assets to ,go in my folder right here as you can see and so what we're going to do now is build out our page ,with gem pages using all the files that i've created here so head on to the dashboard and then ,click create new from here is click more types and you can see that you're able to create a bunch of ,different pages based on what you want to go for so a landing page a home page a product page etc ,and so let's just click for example home page so there's a whole bunch of home page templates here ,there's also a whole bunch of landing pages the theory here is i'm going to build a one product ,store so i'm going to use a landing page only and i found the one that i want to use ,and it's bluetooth headphones you can click preview to preview the template first or ,you can just click start editing so i'm going to click start editing i'm going to give the ,the page name a name and then click header and footer i want this off only because we're creating ,a one product store and we don't want a header and footer at the bottom really quickly though you can ,use a completely blank canvas but if you want to get up and running really fas

$5000 in One Day With Shopify

all right guys so in this video I'm,going to be walking you through exactly,every single thing that I did to make 5,200 something dollars in a single day on,this store so pretty recently,um and yeah without wasting any time,let's get rid of the sauce because I,know what you guys want so one thing I,want to start with real quick is that,you have to understand why somebody,makes 5 000 in a day at 10 000 a day or,whatever in a day right it basically,means that I have spent a certain amount,of money like one or two grand to make,back your return 545 Grand uh you should,stop getting impressed by big numbers,you know I can show you days that I've,done or half a million dollars in a,single day almost a million dollars in a,single day but that shouldn't impress,you because that should mean that hey I,must have also spent a lot of money you,know companies can make 10 million,dollars a month and go out of business,if they're spending 11 billion dollars a,month so don't start getting impressed,by big numbers because what really,matters is your business profitable you,know if you're spending a hundred bucks,a day and making back 300 bucks a day,you're more profitable than many big,companies that are losing money as we,speak okay so just keep that in mind,it's about profit it's not about how,much money you make in a single day for,this store personally our margins were,about 20 so we kept around a thousand,dollars profit on this day and we were,doing about a thousand dollars a day,profit on the store so the first thing,you want to do is really just start,getting some product ideas you know oh I,don't think I recommend a lot of you,guys to do is just go on hashtag Tick,Tock made me buy it or just any kind of,tick tock finds uh on Tick Tock because,it's the new platform that is coming up,you know it's going crazy it's not even,coming up anymore it's just doing crazy,and you can get a lot of good ideas,because at the end of the day how can,you you know get this kind of you know,build this kind of wealth it all starts,with an idea you know it starts with you,doing something other than what you,normally do and sit there and look for,products that is the one of the most,productive things you can do uh when it,comes to business or building a business,is think about what kind of brow even,right now I'm working on three new,brands right I literally brainstorm five,hours a day sometimes just thinking,about the product how can I make the,product better you know how can I design,it so the first thing really comes down,to is doing something as trivial as,literally scrolling down on Tick Tock,because when you scroll down you're,gonna find a lot of ideas that are going,to give you like ideas you know ideas,that are going to give you ideas get it,all right great uh but you know this,will give you ideas for products so for,example you know if you go here I have,never seen this before right so these,are like magnet stress balls sound,pretty good looks looks pretty good,people

hey guys thanks for tuning in,got my face covered there um i'm kristen,mark i'm the owner and founder of a,multi-award-winning shopify growth,agency called kristen mark digital,established back in 2010 and today i'm,going to discuss with you,what i believe is the best shopify theme,in the world for seo not only shopify,but shopify os 2.0 theme so i'm going to,give you a bit of background first if,you'd like to jump onto google with me,and type in,seo,issues shopify,shopify technically has five fundamental,flaws when it comes to seo,so basically if um if you google that,you'll see my article number one they're,there about all over the world in,english-speaking languages and english,speaking search engines and the five,fundamental flaws with shopify,are basically um you can't access the,robot text file although very until very,recently you can actually now access it,and edit it although my advice if you,don't know what you're doing,um it would be to leave that alone so um,typically you couldn't access the robot,text file and you've got a dictator to,hierarchical structure so you can't,build the perfect hierarchical structure,for a website the way you would,do it to perfection in terms of passing,on link equity distribution like a,champagne fountain a wedding every site,site in the world should be like a,champagne fountain um at a wedding,you've got your homepage your collection,pages your sub collection pages and then,your product pages with shopify you,don't have that third row of glasses you,only have the home page,the collection pages and product pages,so so that's basically it so you can,read a bit more about it here the third,uh most common issues are,mass duplications of root collection,pages with product filter apps so,shopify typically dynamically produces,filter pages and you can't access,those filter pages to go in and optimize,them unless you're using our shopify aap,product filters and um,ultimately what that does is um the vast,majority 99 of the good product filter,apps out there,block filter pages from the search,engines because house is the only filter,tech in the world which can actually,optimize the six key fundamental,elements but again that's for another,video,another issue is you can't probably,uh which order have i got it in yeah um,third-party apps every time you add a,piece of code or an app or a piece of,javascript to your website it typically,slows it down,our page our themes typically load well,the fastest at the minute is 580,milliseconds,and we've put everything into a theme,that we know,that you guys need to get up and running,to upgrade,to improve your performance in the,search engine so third-party app,installations every time you add an app,it has,mass implications of your technical,alignment with google's,quality guidelines non-ranking factors,etc etc and um in relation to i think i,missed one i think there's another one,here in terms of images image,optimization yeah you can't typically,optimize the image to perfe

Making a drawer cart for Shopify's DAWN theme [goCart.js]

hey nerds my goal today is to make a,beautiful drawer cart for the dawn theme,whatever i wind up with i will put in a,github repo available below,um you can try it yourself if you're,feeling,very sassy,the rest of this video will be about the,process of making it,my favorite,drawer cart is on allbirds.com,and i can be,influenced by this design,as much as i like,i mean look how pretty that is are you,kidding me,out of my way lady i'm trying to look at,this car no,i got to interrupt this lighthearted,misogyny because i just edited that,video,and it was so long and so boring that i,simply cannot so i'm going to try again,leave off the debugging stuff,and try to keep this a high level,overview,first of all why make a cart at all why,not just install an app,they have drawer card apps that have,some upsell features built into them you,might be interested in those,um i had a look at the demos real quick,and my only problem is that they look a,bit gross,so i'm going to make my own,mine is not going to have any upsell,features i have to,limit the scope of my ambition here,but um,if you imagine that dawn just came with,a drawer cart that's kind of what i'm,shooting for,i found the javascript library called go,cart js,the demo looks like this,very basic but i like it as a starting,point,the installation instructions are pretty,good,the part of installation that caused the,most havoc with step number five they,tell you to add this id,to your add to cart form,and you know the dawn form already has,an id on it,so i replaced it with this and of course,that broke a lot of things because dawn,already had javascript targeting,the old id,so,you got to make sure if you're going to,update this id to update it everywhere,there's another wrinkle to this which is,that dawn actually has two,add to cart forms,on the product page,so we can find one form up here sort of,above the um,the options,and it has these input hidden input,elements in it,as another form down here,another add to cart form they both,they both submit to um the cart,this form also has the same hidden input,elements and when you change the options,the variant id here gets updated in both,forms,now,why didn't they just make all of this,a single add to cart form in dawn,i don't make themes for shopify so i,don't know why they made that choice i'm,sure there's a reason but i don't know,what it is,the point being if you try to use,go-kart with shopify,really kick the tires after installation,make sure that your quantity works make,sure that you can't add things to the,cart that aren't in stock make sure that,your error reporting still works because,all that stuff broke for me,and that's not really go kart's fault,that's just getting these things to play,nicely with each other,doesn't always go smoothly also when you,install go-kart the little cart icon,that opens the cart,this is coded,as just a div,you can see it here,and so if i were to,disable javascript on this page,this button,would no longer do anything
