oh hello and welcome to our fourth,partner training webinar I'm Ellie,Daugherty and I'm the UK partner manager,and this time i'm joined by Alice wood,who's one of our senior customer success,managers and Rory Gilmore who's our head,of customer success and they'll be,talking about dynamic bundles so dynamic,bond was our new feature and they're,similar to a normal product,recommendation but they just go a little,bit further and they're great for,generating upsells and increasing our ve,Alice's set some cool stuff up with some,of our customers so she'll be taking us,through some bundles tips and then Rory,will show us how to set them up on the,back end and as usual have time for,questions after so just ping us in the,chat if there's anything you'd like us,to go intelligence works so it's using,nostos machine learning and populate the,bundle based on attributes like color,and things like that basically a lot of,people don't use bundles or would like,to use bundles but I put off because it,takes ages to set up and whereas if you,just allow those machine learning to,pull in tags and attributes it can,populate things much quicker and with a,lot less headache,so the Jim Jacques example in particular,and they wanted to show the same color,products and to the product that their,customer is viewing and the product the,product themselves so the long sleeved,crop and the hoodie and these are,powered by no stove looking at which,products are brought together with the,sports bra,bundles are used generally to increase a,movie but sometimes they're used in a,more kind of inspirational way so,showing products that that complement,each other and the sort of visual,merchandising side of stuff and is like,I said super automatic so it takes much,less time to set up,then I will people usually expect and,you can show kind of which categories,look good together and which categories,can lend themselves to a bundle so the,bundles can be pretty flexible you can,cherry-pick particular products to work,together or you can have an also an,algorithm to when it's magic and put in,different products from specified,categories and they can be a subtle or,as obvious as you like so this example,here is quite subtle you may not notice,that it's a bundle but it was set up,just to kind of show other products that,may not be as obviously relevant and so,like the jumpsuit and the silk step and,with the product that customers looking,at they're not exactly the same products,but they they can,monter people use dynamic bundles in,different ways so in terms of fashion it,can be a kind of shop that look if,you've got particular ranges then you,can show different categories from,within the same range this example here,is a shopper look for sportswear and,then the template has got drop-down,sectors as well so if you've got,different sizes we can we can use that,within our recommendation as well so the,example here is a new bundle that's,being developed for a rebrand it looks,pretty impressive th

short answer is yes,eventually everything goes up according,to newton,right,okay so today we're looking at average,order value in depth,we're going to look at what the hell it,is how to increase it,some apps to increase it some laughs,along the way,hey it's gonna be a good video so stay,tuned but first,the snow i'm wearing four layers here i,just went to the grocery store as we're,in seven layers,it's minus five degrees celsius,and a week ago when i filmed this video,i was in a shirt and shorts,crazy anyway that's just the weather,that's just planet earth,but low-key i really wish i was in,shorts and a t-shirt take me back,anyway what is average order value,average order value,otherwise shortened to aov is the mean,amount of how much each customer spends,at your store per transaction you can,calculate your average order value by,dividing,your total revenue by your total,number of orders which will give you the,aov,imagine if your store had a total,revenue of it's over,nine thousand split between a hundred,orders that would mean that you had an,average order value of ninety dollars,nine thousand divided by 100,equals 90. so on average a customer is,likely to spend 90 every time they visit,your store i mean that would be pretty,good if you're doing that,shopify customer reports calculate this,for you though anyway and i'll leave a,link,to that in the description you may have,also heard of these key metrics,average basket value and customer,lifetime value,so average basket value is similar to,aov,except it's talking about how many items,each customer is likely to put in their,cart per transaction this is just going,to help you understand,how many items are typically sold per,transaction,and customer lifetime value is going to,show you how much approximately,the customer is worth through the whole,relationship with you and your store,if this is decreasing you might want to,focus on customer retention,or remarketing so in order to increase,your average order value you're going to,need to learn,how to encourage your customers to spend,more per,transaction or buy more expensive items,or do both at the same time first off,in this realm are product,recommendations you know everyone needs,a helping hand,often we as customers have our sites set,on just one product,in your store and we won't take the time,to browse around your shop and find,other items this is going to lead to,lower profits oh no,so what to do try adding product,recommendations on your product pages,or on your checkout pages by showcasing,these popular products,or products that other customers have,bought in the past,then you're damn likely to increase your,aov,quick to the demo store,on debutify we're using a whole host of,add-ons to increase conversions,and average order value we have social,proof pop-ups coupons and frequently,bought together,in addition to using these add-ons you,can try using,language to help persuade your customers,if you're selling clothes,or a parallel try using phra

code is a walmart desk a keyboard,a monitor and a lamp,when toilet can encode information and,knowledge gets dispersed to the one,above yours when searching by hot,at least some thought went into yours,whereas the other person get a,motel wise words to live by,today i'm going to show you how to use,handlebars which is a template engine,and i know a few months ago i made a,video about cheetahs which is a,different,template engine but the thing about,cheetah is that it can only run on the,back end,so it's only useful for certain,situations whereas handlebars can run,both on the front end and on the back,end assuming you're using node.js for,the back end,it means that you can generate your,stuff on the fly on the front end if you,want to,or on the back end cheetah requires you,to render,your template to a file handlebars lets,you put it straight out,wherever you want do whatever i'm,showing you how to use it let's get,started,remember when i used to say pop open,your text editor or whatever you prefer,to use to write html,well pop open your text editor or,whatever you prefer to use to write html,i'm using litexcel and you can use,whatever you want i don't care,and make a new file let's make a doctype,tag,and then it's gonna close the tag for me,because,the plugins not smart i was trying to,figure out how to,make it not detect the exclamation mark,so like it'll it won't fill it if it's,an exclamation mark but i don't know i,can work on it more but,it wasn't working anyway i'm just,creating,you know the basic html thing the s code,has a shortcut for this where you type,html colon five and it just fills all,this out,just fills all this out for you and i'm,thinking,i could probably make a plugin that does,that for light xl,which would be really cool but no,promises if you want to make it go ahead,i might do it but alright so now,first thing we want to do is link it i'm,doing this on the front end but it's,basically the same you just install it,with npm if you're doing node.js,link the script src equals and paste,that,js deliver link and i'll put this link,in the description but make sure,that this number here is replaced with,the latest version because,otherwise you'll be running on an,outdated version,if you're not watching this video when,it comes out which chances are you're,not,i'm gonna just link another javascript,file where i'm gonna put the javascript,you could do it in line but,i don't wanna all right now the fun part,making a template so the cool thing,about handlebars is that you can have,your templates,in line right in the html which is what,i'm going to be doing,or you can have them in a hps file so,i'm going to do it in line so you just,make a script tag but set the type,attribute to text slash,x dash handlebars template,so i'm going to make an h1 tag,and then when you pass variables to,handlebars you pass them as an object so,you can do,title inside of double curly brackets,and this refers to,a key in the dictionary that we pass,handlebar
