hello and welcome to this demo of the,air theme one,theme i'm just going to give you a quick,overview of what the theme can do and,how it can help you,and your shop so in this demo that i,have here i have the,front page where we have a hero and then,we have some recommended products,we have some featured collections we,have a subscription box here and then we,have a featured product,and we have some icons we have some text,it's a header,and in the footer here we have a,navigation we could add more if you,wanted to as a navigation we have a,newsletter capture again here and then,some text over here,and in the bottom here we can add a,different kind of social icons,to our social media if we go up and,just look fast on a collection you can,see here that we have a collection we,can maybe take this one where you can,see we have a possibility to add a,description,and of course their collection pages are,customizable as well we can decide how,many products we want in a row and,desktop tablet and mobile mode and all,this,and if we go into a product you're gonna,see that we're gonna we have a slider,for the pictures and also down here we,have a slider and it's,it's working on mobile as well so it's,easy to,swap between the pictures if i try to,add,a product to the card you can see that,come,a notification here that has been added,to my card i can show the card which is,a fly out,here where i can go to a checkout i can,edit how many i want in my cart i can go,to,go to cart and so on and now we have,switched to,a mobile view where you can see that we,got the menu,in the left side here it's also a fly,out as same as the,card is still a fly out also and,we have the search here so if i search,for something,it shows the result straight away,i can click on them i could also click,of course i don't have a keyboard right,now,but if i click enter i would go to the,search page,where it shows the same thing so this is,just a few of the,features of the theme if we go and look,at the,settings you can see that shopify's new,online store speed gave us a speed of,90 which means is faster than similar,stores,i think it's probably if not the fastest,theme out there is definitely one of the,fastest if i click on customize you can,see here on my left side i have the,hero image here and then i have dividers,between every,sections that i'm adding that means that,i could choose,to if i'm not satisfied with the space,between here i could just add more,space and it's going to give me more,space so that's a way that we have,created the theme to be flexible for all,kinds of tastes,also if you look at recommended products,here you're gonna see that i can choose,how many products per row on mobile,on tablet and on desktop so if i went,ahead and said,i want a tree and this is a small screen,so it's actually tablet right now,i would say tablet and then it's gonna,show tree of course that doesn't look,that,nice when it's four products so i would,put it down to a tree or i could put it,up

in this video we're gonna look at how,the color swatches are working,as you can see we have a collection here,where we already added,the color swatches to the sidebar if i,click on it you can see we have added,pink green,and gray and we have products that has,these,and we have products which has this as,text,because that is how the color swatches,are working if you want to filter it,in order to make pink green and gray,work,as colors first we have to add files,so if we go into the shopify's admin and,click settings,next we click on files and then you can,see here we have uploaded,different colors and they have to have,exactly the same name,so pink.png it has to be a png file and,i have to have the same name,as the text i suggest that you're making,squared images,which are 50 times 50 pixels,and before you upload them i always,suggest that you add them into screws,which is making sure that the image is,compressed as much as possible because,this is just,colors and we can make them really,really small,so they don't add on unnecessary,kilobytes to the load,so now we have the files and we have set,up the colors we have the files here,then the next thing we have to do if we,want to add swatches,to the products here is we have to set,up the products,to have different variants let's try to,do that,on this one here we will scroll down and,we're going to add,a new variant here we're going to call,it color,it's going to look at color spelled out,in both english,the uk version and the us version and,then we're gonna add,pink we're gonna add green,and let's just add gray as well,like that let's click save and if we,click save in here,it should update the page and i think,we're going to see it now yes,it's showing up now i swatches so when i,click on,any one of these i'm gonna go into the,product and then the product,will have pre-selected the one i'm,clicking at,already if i want to change the size of,these,i can do that here on the collections,page,and i have to have click collection down,here,scroll down to the bottom and you can,see or even if i want to show them i,have to,click on this one if i click it it's,going to be gone,if i click on it again it's going to,show and i can,decide which size i want this to be,of course depending how many i have and,so on so it,fits the layout on the product page i,also have a few options so if i click,here on the product,you can see it's gonna change into the,product pages and it's actually already,previewing this one,so if i click over here product pages,you can see i have i have the options to,decide if i want to show,the swatches or if i want to just have a,drop down,like this and swatches is not only color,swatches so if i had,more options they are also going to show,as swatches as,buttons kind of for sizes and so on next,i have the options to decide,how big the swatches should be here as,well and then i also have the options to,show what size the color swatches should,be,so i could choose up to like let's say i,ha

Globe again in today's video we're going,to speak about Shopify CLI 3.6 3.2,whatever you want to call it and before,we get started I just want you to know,that I have tried it I have give it a,shot and it's really awesome and you,will see we will get to all the features,in a second so bear with me and you will,also need to know that the old version,will no longer be supported until uh,like I think it's 31st May of next year,and usually some people still use 10K,because well some Futures teamkit has,some advantage over the old CLI version,especially for team development but now,with 3.x it's really you will see that I,think everyone will make great to 3.6,once once I show these Futures so yeah,I'm really really excited because you,will see all the features in this in a,second,but before we get started with the code,you will actually need to migrate to the,newest version,and to migrate they have if you click,Shopify CRI in the documentation they,have a really easy migration guide and,especially if you are on Mac since,Michael you have to do if you have,installed it with Homebrew all you have,to do is really click home brew upgrade,Shopify CLI if you have never installed,Shopify CLI in the first place all you,have to do is just Brew I think add,Shopify CLI and it will go to it will,install the latest version which is,um which is 3.22 for me so yeah,if you are on other uh machines like,Linux or revi or,excuse me or Windows you probably have,installed it with Gem and if you have to,if you had installed it with gem you,need to uninstall the old implementation,and install the new the new,implementation using uh using npm or,yarn or pnpm whatever you like since,it's now hosted on npm because it's a,typescript package it's a node package,and it's no longer a ruby package since,the newest version is actually,built using a typescript the old version,is using Ruby the newest version if you,if we check the GitHub you will see it's,Rewritten in typescript it's not fully,Rewritten in typescript it's actually a,wrapper especially for the teams part,it's a wrapper over the typescript,implementation over the old Rabbi,implementation sorry so yeah,uh now all you have to do is just click,here on global ads at Shopify and it,will add Shopify you will need to,install the core package which is,shopify.cr day and then install the,plugin yeah it's a plugin uh you will,see how the Shopify team commands all,are a plugin it's actually a plugin that,is added to the core CLI to support,Shopify team Commons so now if I,actually once you do that you will have,the latest version,and once you do that,um you can also still use the old,version of the Shopify CLI uh but you,will have to call it to change the pads,especially if you are if you have,installed it with Homebrew you will have,to change the naming using the pads like,like we do if you are if you're ever,used python for example we have python 2,and python for python 3. that's that's,reminds me of that,um the old implementat

all right guys so in this video i'm,going to be showing you how you can go,ahead and,customize your debut theme within,shopify so debut theme,is the theme that all shopify stores,start out with,by default when you go ahead and start a,shopify store and if you haven't already,opened your shopify store yet you can,start your 14 day free trial by clicking,the first link in the description,so i figured i'd make this video because,debut theme,is one of the most commonly used themes,because it's the one that all stores,start out with and the view theme,actually looks,really good so right here we can see,that this is what debut theme looks like,when it's first installed with,absolutely nothing filled out,so we can see that we have where our,logo should be,we have a big header right here with,some text we have an image here,we have three images with text below,here we have,a uh empty collection and we have,another,um header type image right here another,wallpaper image,we have some testimonials and we have,three images down here,and then we have the footer so,right now we have a nice little template,but it's blank,so if you're looking to go ahead and,fill out,your um store using debut theme,the first thing you're going to want to,make sure you have is,a few key things so i'm going to bring,up a notepad and just make sure,because before you go ahead and start,the design process you're going to need,a couple things so the first one is,going to be a logo,so i assume you already have a logo at,this point if you're ready to start your,store design but if not,then make sure you get a logo first,because everything else is going to be,based around the logo,and then we're going to have a color,scheme selected,and normally this color scheme is going,to,be derived from colors from your logo,and typically,you're going to use one to two colors,to base your entire store around and,like i said these colors will be derived,from the logo and the next thing we're,going to need,is a couple wallpaper photos,so we can see we're going to need some,photos to go ahead and put back here in,this header,we need some photos to put back here and,this header as well,so if you have any large photos related,to your business,go ahead and upload them to your,computer or,put them all in one folder so we can go,ahead and,use them as backgrounds here and if you,don't you can use,different sites such as pixabay,to find free stock images that you can,go ahead and use,so let's just type in something like,fishing,so if you had a store related to fishing,you could go ahead and just,look for different stock photos here,or maybe you have something related to,yoga,or fitness you can type in a lot,of different niches depending on what,your store is based around,and you can use some of these wallpapers,to go ahead and put back here,now obviously i do think it's better if,you have your own,custom photos but uh you know not,everyone's gonna have that starting out,so if you don't you can go ahead and us

hey guys in this one i want to go,through some of the best shopify,themes that are completely free to use,so for this year there are a bunch of,free themes,you can upload these you can edit these,make them really unique but the best,part about them,is they are completely free to use so,you can basically set up your shopify,store,by just downloading one of these themes,and getting straight into it,and that's what we're going to do just,get straight into the video i will leave,some more information in the description,so you can go and check that out i'll,leave some links that might be,interesting and some more information,in the description apart from that let's,just get stuck into the first one which,is debut so debut is a super flexible,theme,and you can basically use this even if,you don't have a lot of products,but if you do have a lot of products it,can work for you too,they really call this debut because this,is one of the main themes that you're,gonna get when,starting out with shopify because of,that it's really,easy to customize this theme and it can,start small and grow with you so,even if you don't have a ton of products,right now it will still look really good,and then as you fill out your site if,you do want more products it's also,gonna have no issues whatsoever in,adding those in it's really easy to,rearrange everything when using debut,actually if you just want to start a,store using your smartphone and you,don't have a computer or,you know you just don't want to do that,you want to start a store really quickly,you can actually use debut on your,smartphone set up your store i've got,some more tutorials on that if you want,to check those out,just look through my videos or maybe,i'll put them in the description as well,but,debut is really customizable and you can,edit it right on your smartphone,if you are on a computer though you can,look between these,two different styles basically one is,called default and one is called light,and you can just see,how different styles can actually really,change the look and feel of a website,one of the things i like most about,davey really is that it's just not,really offensive,and it's not too salesy it looks really,nice and pleasant and welcoming as a,site,and of course you do have the store,there as well to put your products in,this store honestly looks completely,different to an actual store like this,is not amazon most,stores and businesses that are going to,be using shopify are kind of more,boutiquey style,kind of uh not as just mass market as,something that you'd find on amazon and,so,this type of theme i think really goes,well with most businesses that want to,actually use,shopify to sell items not only can you,start your store on here list your,products on here and it's obviously,really simple for the user it just has,that big item up there,shop and then you can go to shop but you,have that home page as well,where you can really just promote your,story and your brand,because obviously if yo
