hey toyotax this is jody and today i'm,going to do a little bit of a different,video um some of you may or may not know,that one of the things that i do besides,selling on ebay and besides doing these,videos and besides collecting and,besides besides besides,that i do a little bit of print on,demand and sell a little bit of it in my,etsy shop um i have an etsy shop,here's the,image here and if you were a fan of the,facts of life um you will remember that,they had a store in the later years,called over our heads it was a novelty,shop and so this is a nod to that it's,called out of our heads,and that that shop came after,edna's edibles burned down,and,in this day and age edna's edibles would,be a very different store but,i digress,so um usually i use a company called,printful,that,everything in my,all the designs that i create,actually let me back up a little bit,print on demand is where you create a,graphic or purchase a graphic,and you,go to a website you choose an item like,a shirt or,a mug or a sticker or,a bedspread and you put your graphic on,there and then you can just buy it,yourself if you want it for yourself or,you can,um put it on an ebay store an etsy store,or shopify store,and sell that graphic,and so that's what i do a little bit on,the side and,so i usually use a site called printful,and they have a lot of choices they are,quite expensive,i usually make just a couple of dollars,per item which is fine once you make one,graphic and then if you sell it a bunch,of times it's great,but,i was looking online and i found another,site that was a lot less expensive and,had a lot more options than printful and,so i thought i would give them a try,there it's called yokel,and,here's the website on the screen here,and um i wanted to give you an honest,review of how i felt about yokel and why,i won't be using it in my etsy shop but,i will be using it for personal items i,did a few,different,tests for things i actually found the,site because i was looking for a new rug,to go on the floor here in the shed,and i didn't like any of the designs,that i found and so,um i found a print on demand site that,did rugs,so i went to,their site and,found that was pretty inexpensive,and the thing is that the the site,their manufacturing everything is,takes place in china,and so the shipping is pretty expensive,from china to here and it takes quite a,bit of time so those are really my two,main issues with putting it in my etsy,shop is that i would have to tell people,that it could take up to a month for,them to get their item and then the,shipping in some cases is more than the,item so,for those two main reasons i really,can't,put things,from there in my etsy shop,but um let me show you what i got and,how i,what i think about them so the things,that i got were,well let me first show you the rug,because that's what i went for,so,the descriptions on the site also of,things are not,excellent,and so i was more expecting a rug and,this is more kind of like a mat like y

hi everyone welcome back to my channel,my name is mayor and i teach creative,people how to sell their art online and,i don't know if you can guess by the,title of this video but it's going to be,a bit of a controversial video and we're,going to be talking about two things,here we're going to be talking about,print-on-demand bed sheets or like a bed,set as well as a printed man company,named joycole that was never till this,day featured on this channel side note,this video is in no way shape or form,sponsored by yoiko i ordered all of the,items that i did myself there are a lot,more items coming to me and uh yeah,um yeah i would not take any money from,them for a sponsored video i want to,start with the first part of this video,which is to feature the actual product,that i got so on the 18th of april i,made an order from joycole for,three-piece duvet cover set a t-shirt,for man shower curtain,household lightweight and breeze quilt,all over women dress for plus-sized,women as well as women's platform,sneakers just you know sneakers the,order was placed on the 18th of april i,got the shoes and the duvet cover set on,monday so that's the ninth i think,of the month and,until now even though i received these,items and the other items are already,shipped to me i can see this on the,tracking,when i go into my order i still see a,waiting production really big,uh i actually contacted them because i,was looking into this few days ago and i,was like why is it still awaiting,production so,what i want to talk to you about today,is as i said the two things one this uh,insanely cheap bed sheet covered duvet,set,uh comparing it to other prices,that will kind of astound you as well as,um,why i don't think that i'll be working,with yoiko okay so let's start with the,first thing and we're talking about bed,sheet sets so if i go over to printful,they don't have duvet covers as far as i,know but they do have all over print,basic pillows for 12 euros as well as,premium pillowcases for 14. i'm seeing,this in euros because i'm in bulgaria,but to my understanding euros and,dollars are pretty much the same right,now the dollar even steeps a bit higher,if i go on to society6 and i'm looking,at my own shop so i'm seeing everything,you know on the discounted prices for me,including the fact that he had a sale or,whatever pillow shams for pillowcases,for bed are 31,and their,comforter,is 103,dollars which is insane,until you go to redbubble where people,sell a duvet cover from,120 euros to 140 for one so it's gonna,be quite insane to learn the fact that i,paid,nine dollars,for this,uh,full cover like this this contains a,duvet cover plus two pillowcases so i,paid,940 for this specific size and sending,this specific size to europe was an,extra 13,and 24 cents so even if i round,everything up i paid 24 for a complete,bed set including shipping and all these,prices that i told you before are not,including shipping so if you're gonna,make an awesome set for yourself and you,can pr
