Tricks to WRAP THE PERFECT GIFT in less than 1 Minute!

I'm Christina Crawford I'm a Stampin Up,demonstrator and I've been a Stampin Up,demonstrator for 11 years but I've been,rapping for a lot longer than that,I've loved to wrap presents when I was a,little kid and it's just so much fun,over the years my friends even said,could you wrap my presents for me,because I have fun doing it so I hope,that I can show you some basics in,wrapping with some wrapping paper,wrapping paper comes in different sizes,so it's really good to have your paper,out roll it out take your gift box and,then measure it upside down on the paper,and you'll get a good idea on how much,you need to cut the wrapping paper likes,to roll back sometimes it's nice to have,a helping hand but for the sides you,want to make sure that it's going to,roll right over a little bit more than,halfway if you don't do that then you're,gonna see some of the box and also on,the on the top part here these are going,to be the ends and I'm gonna push that,up in a minute but for right now I'm,just gonna roll that paper until the,sent the center is underneath the paper,and then what I'm going to do next is,just lift this up and roll it over just,to make sure that I'm not using more,than I need to sometimes I like to put,something down like maybe some ribbon or,your tape just to keep it from rolling,back and then with some sharp scissors,you're just gonna cut that if your,scissors are really sharp this is how,they should work something about these,scissors you'll notice the design how,they're nice and flat on the back,they're great for wrapping paper because,they will lie flat and you can cut,straight across sometimes the small,scissors you'll be working too hard it,might actually crinkle the paper tear,the paper you won't be happy your,present won't look pretty and so I,recommend getting some really good sharp,scissors look for this design where it's,a little bit flat on the bottom next,what you're going to do is just lift it,up a bit because you want to make sure,that the end is going to fit right on,the top not more than that just about,there right there on the edge and then,you can turn it to the side when you're,using stripe paper first of all it's,fabulous because you can cut along this,stripe it's just the perfect paper so I,have about two inches there,you don't know how many inches it is you,can take a ruler and just grab it here's,the scissors again and I'm just gonna,cut I could see through this paper I,could see that I'm putting on a straight,line and that is all that I need,save this paper there's lots that you,can do with it many people throw it away,and it's really a waste because there's,believe it or not there's little,presents that you can wrap with that,cards and tags that you can make with,the leftover wrapping paper the next,thing you want to do is get some good,tape and this is scotch tape I love it,because it's the invisible tape there's,also a really nice satin tape that,Scotch makes and I think it comes in a,purple plaid this one is

How to Wrap a Present Perfectly Every Time

hi i'm jenny and this is hgtv handmade,if you saw my last video you saw me,try to teach my friend brock how to,perfectly wrap a present except my hands,were duct taped to the table let's move,your bucket over this is so hard already,guys oh guys,it looks good so far like it doesn't it,does not look good so far at all well,today i'm going to use my hands and show,you how to become a present wrapping pro,i'm also going to show you how to wrap,an oddly shaped present as a bonus so,let's get started,to wrap the perfect present you're going,to want to start with a good sturdy,wrapping paper,fold the paper across until it meets the,paper on the other side of the box,then cut,about two to three inches beyond that,mark,on the ends leave enough paper to extend,about three quarters the height of the,box,trim the opposite side to match,when you're ready to begin wrapping flip,the gift,so the bottom side is up,fold the short side in about one to two,inches over the edge of the box,use regular tape to tape to the box,use your left hand to pull,the seam snug and crease the edge and,pull snugly creasing this corner,with the seam you've created here,tuck,under,and sharply crease,use double sided tape to secure the edge,from here on out we're going to use,double sided tape for the rest of the,project so that we have no visible tape,on the ends i'm going to fold,a triangle shape pull tightly,and crease,and repeat,on the top,and i'm going to repeat,on the other side,at the top i'll have to fold under,we're going to fold the top flap down,and secure with double sided tape,next we'll fold the bottom up,it might be easier to flip the box over,so you can crease,before securing,now we're going to repeat on the other,side,quick seam secure that last flap i go,through and finish out my edges and you,have,a package that will make all of your,type a dreams come true,there are barely any scenes you can look,at it from any angle and it is almost,perfect makes me so happy this gift is,so sharp i'm pretty sure if i threw it,at somebody it would,take off an arm it's like a christmas,ninja star,but i hear what you're saying this is,just a box how hard can it be what about,when you have to wrap something weird,like a football or a basketball well,i got you covered i'm going to use my,ball,to determine how much,paper i need,to,once again wrap it,and it looks like i have almost the,perfect amount on this roll,i'm going to fold,the two halves,of the paper,into the center,and having a,pattern paper is awesome because i can,line up the pattern,and it really helps to hide the tape i'm,using just a regular,tape that is made for gift wrap so it,disappears really nicely you can barely,even see that,i'm going to take this pretty heavily,all the way up the seam,i'm going to put that seam right in the,middle and i'm going to crease,both sides of this paper,contrary to the perfectly wrapped,present i found that a cheaper thinner,paper actually works better with this,project it lets you manipul

DOLLAR TREE GIFT WRAP IDEAS (no skill required!)

hey everyone it's sarah jane with chico,the cheap welcome to my channel,so i think most people know the dollar,tree has a lot of gift wrap boxes and,bags,and in today's video i thought i'd show,you how you can upgrade the dollar tree,selection,with some creative yet super easy ideas,let's get started,okay so the first gift wrap idea is to,make a wintery scene,and i'll be using some of the dollar,tree's craft paper you get 15 feet for a,dollar,and we'll be doing a standard gift wrap,for all of the packages in this video,nothing fancy i figure most people know,how to do this but if you don't do not,worry,there are lots of tutorials on youtube,and i'll have a good one linked down in,the description box below,now the first step is to wrap your,package in some ribbon i chose this,satin gray color,and then to build your wintry scene,you'll want to trim down a piece of,white poster board or white paper,and be sure to cut it curvy to look like,a patch of snow,then you'll just adhere the paper to the,corner of the package like this,and once that's done the next step is to,cover the paper and glue,and i'm just using some elmer's glue,then you'll want to take a pack of this,faux snow and sprinkle it on top of the,glue,i just love this stuff it's so pretty,and here's where you can build whatever,kind of scene you would like,the dollar tree has all kinds of,miniature figures,i picked out this set and hot glued them,around the edges of the patch of snow,that we created,and then i added some of the dollar,tree's little bottle brush trees behind,each person,to really bring this fun snowball fight,to life,and the final step was to add a pom-pom,to the middle of the bow,this is optional of course but it kind,of looks like a snowball,and here is the finished package with,the wintry scene on top,and the best part about this is the,figures are reusable,and it only took a matter of minutes to,make,i wanted to show you how you can take,pieces from a banner or garland to,decorate your packages,and i couldn't find any christmas,banners at the dollar tree so i'll be,using the scarline that i got from the,target dollar spot this year,you get six houses for three dollars so,that's 50 cents a piece,and for my ribbon i'm going to use some,of this cotton twine that you can find,in the dollar tree's automotive section,you get 420 feet for a dollar but you,can also use the dollar tree stew cord,and you'll want to take a long piece of,twine and thread it through the,pre-existing holes on the house,that's what's nice about using pieces,from a banner or garland,they already have holes in them and as i,tied up the package i made sure the,house was in the middle of the twine,and that it was positioned on top and,once i tied the string in a knot i slid,the house over to conceal the knot,just to create a more neat and tidy look,and then i took a piece of this dollar,tree frosted greenery i think that's new,this year,and i detected behind the house like,this,while i can appreciate a mor

tis the season for giving and i'm sure,you have presents to wrap so in this,video i am going to share 11 gift,wrapping ideas so that your gifts stand,out from the rest hey there my name is,yami i am your latina next door welcome,back to mikasa don't forget to like and,subscribe so that you can get more,videos like this,so for this very first gift wrapping,idea i'm going to show you how to do a,double envelope pocket wrap for the,front of your present you can insert a,card insert greenery a small ornament,anything that you want to add on to it,and it's really simple to make,as you can see you want a nice amount of,gift wrap on either side of your gift,and you want to tape,your gift wrap about two-thirds of the,way up on the front side of your gift,next on one side you're going to want to,create a triangle and you're going to,want to fold it to the front of your,gift,now this works best when your gift wrap,is a little bit thinner with the thicker,very high foil gift wrap it might tend,to be a little bit more difficult to,create these creases just keep that in,mind,now i'm trying to take my time to show,you how to do this exactly a lot of,tutorials online go way too fast and,they don't have very good instructions,so i'm hoping that at this pace it will,be easier to understand,i'm going to do the exact same thing on,this side taking that very first,triangle fold and then putting it over,the first one,then i'm going to take the right,triangle that's remaining again and then,cross that over,on that side,after i have that one down i am going to,take the left one and wrap it over again,now if it helps you can tape these as,you go,as you can see here you can apply a,little bit of tape to this corner,and finally you're going to fold and,close that remaining end piece as you,would a normal gift,add a little bit of greenery or a card,and your gift is done,now if that one was a little bit,complicated i do have another option for,an envelope gift wrapping and this one,is a lot easier,cut your gift wrap so that it's a little,bit longer than what you would normally,need,at about the halfway point you want to,lift it up and fold it onto itself,as you see right here,make sure your edges align and that you,do a nice firm press on that crease so,that it'll stay,bring your gift back,and i like to place the fold a little,bit higher on the gift about two thirds,of the way up,then you are going to wrap your gift as,normal,i like to fold my edge in like this so,that when i place it on top and secure,it it has a nice clean edge,and i totally picked up the wrong tape,when i did this and it didn't pick up,the,perfectly clear one so make sure you,have some of the very clear tape,insert your card and your gift is done,so this next one is my favorite and what,you're gonna do is wrap your gift like,you normally would,now what you're gonna do is you're gonna,get yourself some ribbon and in order,for this to work you're gonna need,ribbon that is finished on both sides,you're goin
