gonna sort of go a little bit off piste,from where we were up until now i mean,we've we've looked at wiser up until,this point um but then we sort of veered,off and did the uh,did the traditional stuff,but i'm gonna bring it back to wiser,tonight um and it's really going to be a,bit of a sort of answering questions,based on the stuff that people are,asking me when we're trying to upsell,wiser to them so as us if you saw the,promo video the whole gist of this is,really going to be if you if you go in,to replace something maybe an lp or a,digi stat or whatever we want to be,thinking why am i why am i fitting why,am i replacing an lp or did you stack,why am i not fitting wiser why am i not,pushing wiser so that's really,what we where we're at,so from my point of view when i do this,if i go in,the instant response from the customer,is how much is going to cost me and,obviously there is going to be a cost,implication because depending on what,you're upgrading from depends on what,what the sort of costings are going to,be i mean if you take something like,this which is a an rf 700 pack or rf-701,with a digistack plus three these retail,about 100 or maybe 110 quid,you'd be replacing it with a wiser,thermostat kit one around about 150,pound miles so there's a better about a,50 pound differential if you're going,from an existing wireless stat but,you've got to remember that the,customers have already got a wider stat,so you can't really sell it on the fact,that you're moving over to wireless,because they're already there so the,things you'd be looking at there are the,comfort and convenience that it gives,the customer but also the energy savings,if we also have a look at say like an lp,you say they've got a defective lp now,we know from what we've seen that they,can go in and they can replace that with,either a thermostat kit one or kit two,lps are going to retail sort of around,the 60 pound mark these again round,about the 150 so as well as the smart,aspect we can also say that the customer,is getting a wireless stat as well so,we're upgrading them from wireless,controls to,from wired control to a wireless,controller as well as the smart and all,the other bits that's what they're,getting so in terms of the actual,hardware they're getting they are,getting more hardware but they've also,got this whole other world of smart,controlling it on on an ipad or a tablet,or phone,so,if we look at the comfort side of that,obviously we've got app control we've,got iot integration so we can we can,automate,our scheduling if you like using things,like iot um ifttt um and if you want to,use google and the uh amazon i won't say,i won't say it because it will set mine,off,but if you want to use the amazon voice,control um which we all know what it is,uh,also obviously remote access so they can,access the heating system from away from,home and really what we want to be doing,is we want to be getting the customers,thinking about their heating system more,than they do know i

some of the formats last week where we,looked at the different skus and we,looked at the different places of the,hub if you've got any comments or,questions put them in the comments box,we'll pick them up so moving on from,last week,we now know which kit we want to install,the trailer what i've got behind me is,uh wired as a traditional two-channel,system so there's two zone vaults it's a,it's what we would call a twin zone or,an s-plan,and we're gonna go through with,a,thermostat kit two and we're gonna do,the upgrade so let's get straight onto,it first thing i'll do is i'll move you,in a little closer so that you can see,the training board okay so the first,thing we want to do obviously we want to,make sure that we're safe so,we'll isolate,the system,and i'll remove the fuse,so this is exactly what you would do on,a normal system,keep the fuse in my pocket now that,we're safely isolated the lp has gone,dead we can get in and we can fit the,the two channel hubs so,loosen off the two screws,underneath,the lp,and lift it off of its back plate,and there you can see,the industry standard back plate now you,get one of these in the kit anyway with,wiser but obviously you don't need it,because,you've got it's already there i'll give,you a bit of a close-up so you can see,for an s plan system we've got the,neutral live on the first two terminals,nothing on one and two terminal three is,your hot water on and terminal four is,your central heating on so at the moment,hot water on goes to the cylinder stat,and then off to the valve,central heating on to the wired room,stat and then to the valve so we'll now,get on and replace the hub,so,no wiring changes here clip the two,channel hub on,do up the two screws,underneath,to make sure it's all nice and secure,now in terms of changing out the,programmer,that's obviously all done but we do need,to address this wired room thermostat,here we need to make we need to make,some changes to this so that it's not,that the two aren't going to fight so,into the wiring center,now um normally you may have to test for,this luckily this is wired as per the,drawing and as per the lid of the wiring,center but sometimes you will need to,actually test to find the thermostat,wires but if we just have a look on the,inside of the wiring center lid we can,see terminals two and three are where,our room stack connects so those we need,to disconnect them so that will take the,room stat out of the equation but we,then need to make the circuit continuous,and we'll do that by,wiring in,a wire link across those two terminals,so it will go in just like that now,before i start poking my fingers in,there i'm going to make sure that we are,absolutely dead,which we are,so now,i can,go ahead and remove,these two switch wires,now normally you'd want to remove the,whole assembly you're not going to want,that on the wall if you've got the new,wiser thermostat so,you would,this this wire which is also connected,to neutral you disconnect the whole lot,

Configure Manual Recommendations in Personalized Recommendations

video I'm going to tell you how to,configure recommendations manually,choosing personalized recommendations if,you have not installed personalized,recommendations on your store I'll,recommend you install the application,using the link below let's get started,as you can see I am on a product page,right now what I would like to do is I,want to change the recommendations that,are being shown in this widget which is,called frequently bought together in,order to do that I'll go to the,dashboard and I'll configure the,recommendations manually as you can see,I'm on the dashboard right now I'm going,to find frequently bought to get the,widget from the dashboard and then click,on configure what they give and,configure I will be shown a bunch of,options which are used to configure the,wisdom and the moment I'm interested,only in configuring recommendations in,order to do that I hit recommendations,which will show me the list of firms,from this list I am going to find the,product for which I want to configure,the recommendations as you can see I,have this first product right here and,click on view edit recommendations on,this page you'll see that no man of,recommendations have been added for this,product right now I'll click on add,recommendation and from this list and,select for couple of products right,there you will find an enable reverse,mapping setting on the dashboard what,this will do is it will add the main,product as recommendation to these two,products as well for this video I am,going to keep it disabled and then hit,till select verbs you can see these two,products have been added as,recommendations for the main book as you,can see I can also drag and reorder the,recommendation as well once this has,been configured I can go to the product,page again and hit refresh you will see,these two products have been added as,recommendation for the main product it,would like to add recommendation for,multiple products to,I'll recommend using the bulk upload for,uploading the recommendation in bulk on,the left you will find an option on,figuration if you click on that will be,taken to a screen then will be allowed,download of sample CSV file once you,download this sample CSV file you will,be able to end the file and add,recommendation story once you add,recommendation to it just click on,upload you must select the type switch,if you want to add recommendation for,once you do that you will be allowed to,select the recommendation find that you,have just anything and that thing as,soon as you upload the recommendation,file it will automatically populate the,recommendation staff with the current,recommendations that you have uploaded,this is how you can configure the,recommendations manual UT manual,recommendations always get priority over,automatic recommendations so if you,already have automatic recommendations,enabled you want to update the,recommendations being shown in this go,to the product and add recommendations,manually and that's it if you have any,que

FB Live Training - How to add devices to a Wiser smart heating system

this is the third now the third,uh virtual event virtual training event,we've done for wiser i hope you're,finding them beneficial um one of the,things we're going to look at today is,moving on from what we did last week so,if you remember last week we we upgraded,the training board to a two channel a,thermostat kit two and added the room,stack so rooms that is still added to,the system so what i'll do today is i'm,gonna take you through how to add more,devices how we manage those devices,if we need to do any sort of range,extension,with the wiser plug we'll have a look at,that but the primary focus is really,going to be on these the the smart,radiator thermostat,as always if you've got any questions as,we go along stick them in the comments,and once i've done the demo i'll come,back in and we'll we'll deal with the,questions so first thing i'll do is let,me move you in so you can,see the training board,okay so,i'm gonna have a stab at doing this on,the ipad uh this week because i believe,that we had a,uh a few issues with you being able to,see what was going on with the app so,first thing is obviously it's been a,week um so we need to get back into it,we haven't registered um the system yet,because we haven't handed it over to the,customer so i'll just take you back,through how you would get back into it,this is very much like if you would say,go out to the van or go off to lunch and,then come back and try and pick it up,this is the process you'd have to go,through so first thing is on the app,back into this screen we hit setup,create an account,the app asks us to press the setup,button so we quick press on that just to,get it flashing remember when it's,flashing that's broadcasting the network,which we will then connect to so if we,then zoom in on the app,we'll just step our way through like,we've done before,open our settings,into wi-fi,pick up the wiser heat network wait for,it to stabilize take that in a little,bit tighter so you can hopefully see,what's going on,as soon as it's stabilized,back into the wiser heat app,and you're at the stage now let's set up,your heating system so this is all well,trodden grain what we did last week hit,next,we've already defined what the boiler,type and the and the cycling rates going,to be so we just hit next and then we're,straight back in to this remember this,this is the landing screen so,last week we did a room thermostat i,will do another one just to refresh your,memory so remember with this,off with the off with the cover open the,batteries compartment at the back just,slide those off,two a batteries,into your room stat,like that,and this is the screen you get remember,this you get the little wi-fi symbol so,now once you've done that on the app hit,room thermostat,give them a couple of seconds to see,each other,and there you go you see now the room,set is showing you the ambient,temperature in the room,and you've also got the success message,on the app so we hit next,it then wants you to put it into

New Drayton Wiser Heating Controls

hello everyone and welcome to uh,tonight's live lounge from plum app with,me james from drayton um so the idea of,tonight is we're going to go through the,wiser smart controls from drayton so,i've got some kit here that i'll share,with you um if you've got any questions,as we go through i'm monitoring them as,we come in i see there's a couple coming,already so i'll keep them until the end,if there's anything that you see as we,go through just stick them in the,questions and uh in the comments and uh,i'll go through them and answer them as,best i can,so let's have a look at wiser so this is,this essentially this is essentially the,the center of your system so this is the,wiser hub now wiser is drayton's smart,connected uh heating control,and the idea is that,you obviously there's a lot of a lot of,competitors in the market that do this,stuff but we've tried to approach it,from a heating controls company whereby,we want to make it as simple as possible,for you to upgrade your existing system,so this wiser hub there's three flavors,of this there's a single channel if,you're fitting it to a combi boiler,there's a two channel uh if you're,fitting it to a system boiler uh or you,know a conventional uh heating and hot,water cylinder and there's even a three,channel so if you already got a property,that's been partially zoned you've,already got uh the you you can respect,the architecture that's already in there,so you don't have to go checking out,zone bulbs or anything it respects that,three channel so the hub is the center,of your system it's got three main,functions it wires into your system so,it gives you that all-important,interlock to make sure that when the,call for heat stops you can uh it turns,the boiler off so that's that's sort of,a primary function of any of these,heating controls,it's obviously got a wi-fi chip in it so,that allows it to connect to your,broadband and you can,by by connecting it to the broadband you,benefit from things like uh remote,access and iot services like google and,alexa but more crucially what it does is,it broadcasts a separate devices network,for all of the other devices to sit on,so here's the room stat that you could,use with it there's also the smart,radiator thermostats but these don't,rely on wi-fi now this is good for two,reasons because,it means that from an installer going in,setting this stuff up you don't need to,have any other infrastructure you could,go into a new build where all you've got,is a supply and you're fitting this to,the heating controls doesn't matter that,there isn't wi-fi you can still connect,to this with your phone so this you can,connect directly to it and you can,configure the network you can add all,the devices you can set up the schedules,and then you can walk away from it and,it will work quite happily as a,traditional heating control on it,running on the schedules waiting them,for the customer to come in and then,they can they can do the the wi-fi,journey and the registration so
