welcome to walmart this is gary how can,i help you today,hi i have a trampoline that's squeaking,can you tell me why,and um then i also want to ask why my,wife,calls me cupcake and um i need an ssl,certificate for my blog,and wait and and i need an electric,guitar for my toddler,and five nuggets please,um just a second,almost one and a half year ago i started,a site kind of like this,it was just all over the place like,topic wise,and i wanted to see if i could get a,site like that started in google if it,would,eventually rank when there was no what,you can say,niche or topical relevance i was just,writing each,article around something new instead of,going with what you can call a category,or a cluster,or just a group of related articles,so as you saw back in january,it had very very little traffic so my,team wrote,37 articles for it and it had less than,4,000 page views after these articles had,normal time to rank they had been,ranking for,8 to 10 months and normally that would,allow them to bring in,at least 800 page views per article and,that was just not happening,so i wanted to check back on the site,and see what's happening there now,half a year later and let's dive in here,to my computer screens i can show you,some of the data,so this is what the graph looks like now,in the last video we had data up till,around,here and since then you can see it has,continued to,climb pretty nicely and around the,beginning of,may here you see it has a huge uptick,and that's because we had a broad google,core update,and that did very well with the site,here obviously it almost doubled the,traffic,overnight what google did here nobody,really knows but i'm pretty sure that,just got better at,understanding natural language so they,understand better now what these,articles here are about,and that goes very well hand in hand,with what i showed you guys,last week my thoughts on what's,happening in google here in 2021,we see so many updates in google core,updates and updates they don't really,name but we see fluctuations,and we see smaller sites and newer sites,grabbing traffic from bigger sites at,least that's what i believe,and this is just another example from,one of my sites i also see this across,of my,other newer and smaller sites getting up,ticks when there's,some of these google updates and my,bigger sites are,losing a bit of traffic so it makes,sense to assume that,google is just getting better at,understanding what each article is about,on a deeper level a better understanding,of the content,and they would have to understand what,these articles are about,because there's just no topical,relevance on this side you know these,articles are,all over the place topic wise now let's,take a deeper look at the data here,so you can see here there was a huge,uptick here and let's just look at the,last,30 days it had close to 13 000 page,views,so that's a lot more than the around 4,000 page views i saw,in the last 30 days eight months ago so,it's definitely growing,pr
