hey everybody if you're selling apparel,on etsy then you need size charts for,your listings whether you're selling,print on demand through a platform like,printify or printful or if you're,fulfilling orders yourself you're going,to need a nice professional looking size,chart that has a good consistent look,for your etsy shop i have a few,different options for you and i think,i've got something for just about,everybody so let's take a look at all of,the options you have when it comes to,size charts for your listings,all right we're going to start with all,of the completely free options that,range from very very simple to a little,bit fancier uh to get a size chart into,your etsy listings and they all need to,be images because the best way to get a,size chart into your listings is to use,one of your images out of the 10 that,you have for each listing because if you,put sizing information down in the,description customers are really,unlikely to actually go read it and find,it and it's hard to line things up in a,nicely arranged list or table in the,description too so the best way to have,that information out there for your,customers is by using one of the images,and we're going to use the screenshot or,screen capture or snipping,tool that comes on either windows or mac,if it's windows i think it's called the,snipping tool and on mac it's basically,just using the screenshot feature and,there's also apps on mac that you can,download to take screenshots there's,also programs that you can pay for like,snagit and things like that you can do,it for free though,so we're going to use those features to,either generate something or take a,screenshot of something that already,exists so the fastest easiest free way,to go get the size chart information is,by going to,the source information and if you're,using a platform like printfive for,print on demand then it's going to be in,the catalog on the product listing so,we're on the product listing page in the,printify catalog for a bella canvas 3001,t-shirt and we have to scroll down past,all of the print providers to find the,product information as well as the size,chart so we keep scrolling and scrolling,and there we go there's the size guide,now the fastest easiest way to get this,into an image is to use your screenshot,functionality but first we need to zoom,in on this to make it bigger because we,want to have a good sized picture so,don't don't just take a screenshot of it,really small like this because the the,actual image itself will also be really,small so use your browser either use the,keyboard shortcut or use your browser a,little option here to,to make this a little bit bigger first,and then use if you're on windows you,can go to the start menu or run a search,for the snipping tool if you're on mac,you can actually just hit uh i think,it's shift command 5 yeah there we go,and this is built in you don't even need,to download this so this is just a,screenshoting tool that mac has so it's,shift command 5 a

How To Measure Your Clothes | Seller's Size Charts EXPLAINED!!

all right so you're trying to buy some,items off of taobao and weeding but you,don't know how to read the seller's,charts,don't eat intro i got you,in this video i'm going to show you how,to measure your clothes so you know,exactly what size to pick off the,sellers chart every single time so let's,go ahead and jump right into this video,for starters the very very first thing,that you're going to need is some,measuring tape go to your local store,your walmart whatever's close to you,grab you some measuring tape it's only,three or four dollars but this is going,to be essential to measuring your,clothes so you know what sizes you need,to pick after you have your measuring,tape you want to go in your closet and,you want to find pieces of clothing that,you already like how they fit on you so,if you like,tight slim fit shirts go and find your,favorite tight slim fit shirt if you,like oversized boxy shirts go and grab,that so on and so forth but you also,want to do this for your pants or,sweatpants and shorts so for this,example i'm going to be using a palm,angel shirt which is a little bit,oversized and boxy because that's kind,of how i like my shirts to fit now and i,got a pair of jeans that we're going to,be working with after you have your,favorite items that you already own you,want to find a nice flat surface to lay,your clothes out on and you want to make,sure that everything is nice and flat so,you can get an accurate measurement if,your clothes aren't laying flat you're,not going to be able to get a good,reading so your measurements might be,off and it's just going to cause,problems so head to your table put your,clothes on your floor whatever you want,to do just make sure the surface is flat,starting with the shirt the very first,measurement i like to take personally is,the length i'm six foot six one,somewhere around there and typically i,like my shirts within like,74 to 80 centimeters as far as length so,in order to measure the length on your,shirt all you need to do is put your,measuring tape at the very top of the,collar and measure all the way down to,the end of the shirt it should look,something like this,now after you have the length if you,want you can measure your shoulders me,typically i never really measure this,part doesn't really matter to me that,much but just in case you want to know,all you need to do is just measure from,shoulder seam to the other shoulder seam,and that's going to give you your,measurement for your shoulders and it,should look something like this,now the next most important measurement,for the shirt in my opinion is going to,be the chest so on some cello charts,you'll notice that they have three,digits that represent the measurement,for the chest don't trip just whatever,that three digit number is,cut it in half and that's going to tell,you how many centimeters the actual,length or the width of the shirt is so,in order to get an accurate measurement,all you need to do is take your,measuring tape from one seam
