hi there i'm javon junior apps manager,at incarcel and today i'll be showing,you how to set up your first offer but,before we do so you need to first run,our setup wizard tool we have a separate,video for that so i'll be just showing,you how to locate that video inside our,app so you will go ahead and click on,this gear icon here,and then you can go ahead and watch this,video it's a very interactive video to,show you how to position the offer on,your website whether it be on the,product page the adoc slider card or on,your cart page,so if you haven't done so already you,need to pause this video and give this,video a watch okay,okay let's dive into it so to create,your first offer you need to click on,the create off icon,and then you will get this page on your,dashboard,and then you just click go to create,offer,so this is the pattern that you use to,create your your offers so the first,option is to add the,offer,name so you can identify later so this,call is awful,be sure,and then you have this one here where,you add your product that you want to,offer to your customers,and i'll be adding the,red t-shirt,you scroll down click okay,minimize that term,and then you have this section which is,the look and feel section,so it's basically you can change the,text here,so i'll just say,add a it was a t-shirt,you can also,change the text off the button,go ahead and say add,a t-shirt,and then you can also change the layout,of your offer so we have four different,layers,we have compact stacked,carousel,and also flex but i'll be that's using,compact for this example,there's no need to add the title in this,example,you can go ahead and add the price by,checking the price option,if you do have a product that you want,to compare your pricing you can add,computer price,and it was a variant you could add a,variant this is not a varying product so,i will be adding it,and i'll just go ahead and click the,quantity selected so you can choose how,many,of the same product like to cart,so let me just,get to the third option which is where,do you want to display the offer,so,this is where you select on what pages,are the slider card you want the offer,to appear so you can check the cart page,on fact page option,and you can select between the address,card and product page so you can select,either one of those,i'll just keep it on my product page,and the next fourth option is where you,add your conditional logics or what we,call triggers,so we just added a simple rule to this,one,the rule that i'm adding is that once a,shorts is added to the card then my,offer will update to customers so let's,go ahead and add that rule,and you can choose drop by from the many,rules,that we have here so you will definitely,find something that matches your need,when using this app,all right these are some other options,that you can also explore,here you have the advanced settings,so if i had a discount i could,add a discount code here and our app,will automatically add the discount to,the it

so we're going to talk about cross,selling and upselling today,why should you bother with them how do,they apply to you,and what even are they guys i got you,covered on this one,we have been using cross-selling,upselling on our store,for quite a while and we do see huge,returns on using one of these apps,our business itself is on the shopify,platform and i know a ton of apps out,there that can help you out with this,um so we're going to jump right into it,let me bring you over to the whiteboard,all right so you got cross selling,and you got upselling and both of these,both right here are going to make your,average order value,which is also referred to as aov,go way up and i'm telling you,there is huge benefits to this there's a,lot of different ways that you can fit,these in,i've seen a lot of different methods,that stores out there use,but to have at least one of these i,think is really imperative to your store,mainly because when a customer visits,your store,so let's say a customer's here and,they're going into your store they see,this little object or whatever you're,selling they want it,and they buy it so they go to checkout,stand or whatever,they buy it from you but wait a minute,they get here,and they see all these little goodies,these snacks and stuff like that,all right so it's really just kind of,the same thing,in that sense so your when your customer,gets around to the checkout stand,they see all these as well these little,things,all right so let's say they go there for,a 10 item well then they end up buying,five dollars more worth of snacks or,whatever they buy,and so you have just now increased your,order value by,50 so that's pretty awesome that's what,you'd say upselling is so you're kind of,upselling a customer,as they're about to check out so there's,a lot of different ways they can do this,um sometimes some places are like hey,you can get,um a good example of it is like a buy,one get one free or buy one given a half,off that's an upsell um so a lot of,places will,offer like a bulk discount or something,so if you get,two um now the price is slashed in half,that's an example of an upsell so let's,say,cross sell the cross-sell is um if you,have a customer who wants something,let's say they're going into your store,and they see um on the shelf,they see i don't know let's say like,laundry detergent right,so they're gonna buy this laundry,detergent they see it,they like it and then they pick it up,but then wait a minute,they see you right next to it on the,shelf one underneath,there's a product there for um i don't,know boosting the effectiveness of,your fabric softener or your laundry,detergent,and so they kind of go hand in hand you,know one is made for the other,since we're a clothing store a lot of,times what we do is implement,kind of like a product bundle in terms,of an outfit,so we might have a t-shirt here some,pants i know this is awful drawing and,some shoes,so you can get one for the price of,20 bucks um you can get these pa
