hello happy people humza here and, welcome back to the channel in this, video I want to show you how to add a,cookie notice Oh a EDP ARRA,cookie notice to your WordPress website, and that cookie notice will look, something like this let's dive straight,in so by default WordPress actually, serves cookies and I'm going to link up,this document over here wherever you, read about cookies and if you are run, your WordPress website that means that, you are actually required by law to,display a cookie notice just like this,on your WordPress website so let's dive, straight in to get started and now to,show you how to add such a cookie notice,we are going to go right into our, dashboard and we are going to come over, here to plugins and we are going to,search for a cookie plugin and that, cookie notice plug-in is called GDP era, cookie consent and this is one of those, ones that I found that are standing out,and that we hope you basically to set up,your cookie notice without doing it,custom or without going into a couple of,steps here and there so once it shows up,over here I think GDP Eric okay notice,at the moment it has over 700,000 active, installation so simply install and, activate one is activated then you are, going to come over here and then load up,the settings page once the settings page, shows up then you will have something, like this over here okay now this, genotype has a couple of settings there,is another type called a customized, cookie bar customize button advanced the,tab and then also the hoplite whereby, you can learn about a bit web, customizations for this specific plug-in,or settings for this cookie notice now, when we head straight to the general tab,we have a couple of options here they, say that the cookie bar is currently on,so you can even say off that means that, you have disabled your cookie perform, appearing when I update I come over here,to my website you realize that now I,don't have the cookie but showing up now, when I turn it on then that means I'll,have my cookie but sit back on now a,cookie bar want to show it as a banner a,pop-up or a widget so if you want to,show it as a pop-up and, selecting proper page will bring us two, options they want it to be an overlay or,no overlay you want it to be sticky you, wanted to animate then you want it on,high to animate or basically to,disappear that goes back to how you want,it now by simply me updating this so,that you can see how a popup Cokie, notice looks like using this plugin I,reload this page over here boom this is,how it looks like at the moment with the, information and all this over here now,if we choose to use a widget we can show, our widget on the left hand side of our, website or on the right hand side of our, website and we can either make it sticky,on loading unknown height we can either, animate it or basically make it,disappear so I'm going to basically this, default and we look at how our widget, cookie notice looks like unloading this,it should appear somewhere here see this, sort looks like if

Website cookies and how to make it a piece of cake
Website cookies and how to make it a piece of cake
hi everybody good afternoon this is our, fifth session this afternoon gosh had to,catch up there it's been a busy day,we've been we've got six webinars, throughout the day talking about various, aspects of risk,so this morning we've covered esg we've,covered general global risks we've,covered a little bit on cyber and we've,done some work as well talking about iso, standards now for the remainder of the, afternoon we're going to be talking, about a topic that myself and anna are, quite, passionate about geeky about not too, sure what the right word is which is,around data privacy and uh the gdpr and,in this instance a little bit of other, legislation called the pekka so that's,the previous electronic communications, regulation that's quite hard to say on a,thursday afternoon at three o'clock when,we've already done quite a few of these,uh thank you to those of you that have, been with us throughout the sessions, today and and welcome to those that are, listening on playback uh just a few, items of housekeeping for you this, session is being recorded, and that's obviously been recorded so,that we can offer it for playback at a,later date um there is in your go to,webinar control panel there is a,question and answers box if you'd like,to ask myself or anna any questions as,we go through the session please do so,and we've also got a chat box so if,you've got any problems perhaps with, technology then my neighbor and debbie, are standing by to try and help you with, any of those technical challenges that,we all have from time to time,uh what else have i got i can say as,well that save the date for the 9th of,december we will be doing delivering our, final set of webinars on the 9th and i'm,pretty sure that because of some of the, changes that we're expecting to see in,the legislation around the gdpr and the, pekka regulations that we'll be doing a,gdpr update then as well,so anna did you just want to introduce, yourself and we'll then start the, session,i can do hi everybody i hope you're all, well um unlike helen though because, ellen's been doing these all day this is,my first one today so if i'm a bit rusty,my apologies um so my name's anna i'm,one of the senior data protection, consultants here at risk evolves and as,helen says yes i'm probably a little, geeky when it comes to this stuff so uh,helen and i will try not to get too, geeky helen, yeah we'll try it we'll try this is,probably one of the more technical, sessions that we've got going on today, and certainly it's probably for some of,the individuals that are more familiar, with the gdpr and the the pekka, regulation and other individuals but,it's a topic that anna and i feel is,beginning to have a lot more traction uh,in the industry and is absolutely, beginning to gain more scrutiny from, various deep different groups which have, come on to a little bit in the session,so what do we mean by cookies so the, legal bit and the legal definitions, around this so we're talking about, pieces of software and that could be a,cookie it co

How to create a Cookie consent (GDPR) in Webflow [Cloneable Template]
How to create a Cookie consent (GDPR) in Webflow [Cloneable Template]
hey welcome to this tutorial and today,we're making a cookie notice inside of,web flow and I've seen this request a,lot in the work flow community on how to,do this so I decided to make a video on,showing you how to do it step-by-step,and as always I'm also sharing the, description below a cloneable project so,we can clone this particle project and, have it immediately in your work flow, account without anything else to do so,if you want to do that you follow along, with this tutorial you can do that as,well so without further ado let's jump, straight into literature so what I did,is I already added two sections with two, headings so we can see how the cookie, works and so what I'll first do is I,will style the cookie so the first thing,I have to do is to create a div block, that I will sit on its own and I'm going,to call that cookie I'm going to add a,padding of 8 pixels on top eight pixels,on the bottom 24 pixels right and 24,pixels on the left side and I'm going to,set its position to fixed this is,important and so it's you know it's,fixed on the window and what I need to,do now is I will set its left side to 20,pixels and its bottom to 20 pixels so,we'll stay on the bottom left corner and,I'm going to add a background color of,black and I'm going to set a radius of 5,pixel now what I will do is I will set,its layout to display flex center center, and horizontal now what I will do is I,will drag an image inside of it take an,image inside of the cookie and I will, select the cookie that I already, uploaded and set the weight to 30 pixels, now what I will do is add a paragraph, paragraph so the paragraph will just, have the bit of content to explain what, this is so I will set that to P remove, the margin on the bottom I will set this,to system UI for a font set that to,white and so this website uses cookies, learn more and learn more needs to be a,link to the privacy policy so what you, would do is you would take this link and, link it to a privacy policy right here, but here I see there is no space I'm,going to add some space to the image so,I'm going to give that a class image and,10 pixels so what I need now in this, cookie model is to add a close button, inside of it so I'm gonna do that I'm,going to insert a div block that will, sit right next to learn more and I will, call this close button close - button,it's well it's going to be 40 pixels, height 40 pixels display flex align, center justify center and then it's,position I'm going to set that to,relative forgot to mention one thing, though so this cookie notice you want it,to be on top of everything else so you, need to place the z-index as high higher, than any other elements that you have, inside of the page so what you would do,is you would set that to let's say nine, nine nine so in your own product if you, have a an element that has a zine that's,higher than 999 you will need to bump, this cookie notice higher than 999 but,for this particular example is going to,work and I'm going to go back to a close, button in

The Simplest Way to Add Cookies Popup in WordPress
The Simplest Way to Add Cookies Popup in WordPress
if you are wondering how to add cookies,pop-up in WordPress then this video will,go over a super simple way to add a,cookie pop-up on your WordPress website,in just a matter of minutes so in this, video I will walk you through how you,can install a cookie consent pop-up on,your WordPress website so generally in,Europe and few other countries website, owners are most required to let users, know about their cookie usage and if,your target audience belongs to those, specific areas then you most need to,show a cookie consent disclaimer on your, website and it can be pretty easy if you,use a plugin so to get started let's,head over to Wordpress dashboard and, just go ahead and click on add new to,install a new plugin and in this case we,will be using a plugin called cookie, notice so let's just search for cookie, notice,so even if you search for cookie you, will get to see the plugin so let's just, search for cookie and let's see if we,can find the Plugin or not so this is,the plugin which you need to install to,you know fetch a cookie pop-up on your, website so I will go ahead and click on,install now to get it installed and as,soon as you install the plugin the next, obvious step is to activate the plugin,so I will click on activate to get it,activated, correct so as you could see the plugin,is now activated and now we can go ahead, and customize the pop-up itself so as,soon as you install and activate the, plugin it will get to see a new item has, been added to the left-hand menu so just, click on cookies, correct so the first settings you could, see the status which is active and this,is something which is absolutely perfect, for us and the next one is app ID and,app key so if you upgrade the cookie, compliance or you have an uh account, already so these are the fields to enter,in order to integrate the cookie, compliance web application with the, plugin itself the next thing you can't,see the message so as soon as you, install and activate the plugin the, plugin will start to display a basic, cookie pop-up to your visitors right, away without any sort of additional, configuration at all and the default, message is uh you know mostly suitable, for most of the websites so anyway if,you scroll down your code C you can also, change the button text, and from here you can select the privacy, policy page so in my case I do not have, any privacy policy page so I will just, add a very random page over here so,nextly uh you can see you can set up the, refuse consent option or revoke consent, option so anyway uh,so you can leave most of that like that, and if you scroll down again you can't,see you can set up the expiry limit or,the accepted expirable mate rejected, expiry limit you can do all of these, things and again if I scroll down you,can see you can customize the notice, design itself so you can see you can, choose whether you want to fetch the, notice on the top of your website or on,the bottom of your website, next you can see you can also set up the, animation itself and then next for color,l

Understanding ClickFunnels Sticky Cookie
Understanding ClickFunnels Sticky Cookie
does the click funnel sticky cookie, still boggle your mind I honestly think,it's one of the best-kept secrets of all, time,no one fully understands the sticky, cookie so in this video we're gonna, break down that click file sticky cookie, and help you understand exactly how it,works, all right we're back this is Spencer, from bill to preneur remember this video, explains exactly how this click funnel, sticky cookie works to my knowledge now,the first thing that know is if you stay,to the end I'm gonna give you a really, cool trick to make sure that you never, miss out on Commission's again there can,be issues with cookies and I'm gonna, show you exactly how to make sure you, never ever ever lose a commission again,- cookie issues so let's dive in and, talk about the click funnel sticky, cookie the first thing is what is it,cookie so a cookie is a little teeny, piece of code that a website puts on,your browser okay so when I go visit, click funnels com it will put cookies or,little teeny pieces of code on my,browser to track different things so as,an affiliate when we're talking about, cookies basically when you give when, clickfunnels gives you an affiliate link, and you give it to someone and they, click it they click your affiliate link, and they go to click funnels com it puts,a little teeny piece of code on that, person's browser okay even when they, close out of their computer and they, turn off their inter and stuff there's,still that little piece of code on their, browser now when they go to buy, something from click funnels, click funnels is going to check their, browser and see if a cookie exists a,cookie that talks about an affiliate ID,and referring them and if that cookie, exists then it will give that affiliate,ID the Commission's okay so that's how a,cookie works in affiliate marketing now,one of the cool things in click funnels, case is their cookie is a lifetime, cookie so sometimes companies will put,out cookies I keep saying cookies and,the kind of sounds weird but they put,out cookies that will expire in 30 days,or 60 days right and they'll they'll,disappear off the browser or won't work, anymore click funnels has a lifetime, cookie the only way that a cookie can be,changed is when someone clicks someone, else's affiliate link ok so let's say I,give so my affiliate link they click it,and now there's a little piece of code,on their browser that says hey Spencer,is the person that referred them but if,they go to someone else's website our, affiliate link right they click someone, else's affiliate link it's now gonna, override your cookie and now their, cookie is the one that's sitting in the, browser and their affiliate ID is the,one that's going to get the Commission's,should they go buy something from then,on out and that's pretty typical with, most affiliate programs so that all, makes sense them that's pretty easy, right like understanding that core, concepts with cookie shouldn't be that, hard for most affiliates but then you've,got to think about all these different,

Manage your E-Commerce Shop Cookie Consent well
Manage your E-Commerce Shop Cookie Consent well
so managing your cookie consent well, today,is such an integral part of our, performance marketing strategy in,e-commerce,that i named this number eight out of 15,in our w,our e-commerce series and you really, need to crack that cookie,if you can't get people to consent,to your tracking then you are in a,really tough spot, this is an example of wish.com,chinese ecommerce store which has gotten, really popular and you can see this, teeny tiny little consent, option at the bottom it is not actually, really required to,to press you can see with the plugins, here that google analytics is,tracking facebook's already firing other, pixels are firing, chinese companies are not yet as,sensitized towards data privacy concerns,as we are here because of the recent, and of course also older changes in the, privacy laws,it is simply not an option for us today,to just have a five percent opt-in rate, because you will not be able to see what, people are doing on your website, after they clicked yes you get your data, from your shop, that is a good thing that you have some, true data in your shop analytics, but facebook won't know what's happening, google ads can't conversion optimize, itself,so it's not an option for us we need to,get, real about cookie consent management, this is a screenshot from my own cookie, banner, from from ball labs on my wordpress, website, sadly this is only a wordpress only, solution one of the, most important thing that this does for,me it shows,me how many people have just, chosen the essential cookies which is,essentially opting out,and the people who have decided to use, media, and marketing cookies and you can see, that maybe like 30 40,of people opted into my cookie tracking,of course my audience is pretty a tech, savvy, and maybe doesn't want to be tracked as,much because we understand, how much tracking goes on in the, background so i completely understand, but for sake please opt into my,cookies, what you want on scent is to be in your, face, here is how my bullets cookie consent, looks,it darkens the website it is in the, center,it is set up per default to just, essentials but the main call to action,is,to save all cookies and you can check, this out,at pirateskits.com workshops if you want,to take a look or just check it out on,the barlabs.io website they, pops up there as well of course designed, differently,i've seen as high as eighty percent,opt-in rate with the bar labs cookie and, less tech savvy audiences, and it actually tells you how many, people opted in so you can make, experiments,on your cookie design and see where you, get, actually more opt-ins let's look at some, best practice examples, here we have zalando they had like 36,cookies running at the same time on the, website they have, really gotten serious about their cookie, consent policy and what they're tracking, and what they are not tracking anymore, and they have chosen this half covered, website,so people are not that tempted to just, surf on the website without making a,decision, also check out what they are doing
