Using Events Calendar Pro with Elementor as a Solution for Tickets and Events in WordPress

okay today we're going to talk about,events calendar pro,and how it works with elementor to add,bits and pieces of your calendar,anywhere on your site all using the,elementor site builder,let's get started so on this site we've,had the events calendar already,we have some events created uh with all,the info we need,and we also have elementor um so on this,one we have events calendar pro,and elementor the free version so we're,going to go to,our pages and we've created a page here,we're going to test out and we're going,to say edit with elementor,as we get here you'll see that we've set,up our fake little coffee shop and this,is from one of the elementor out of the,box templates,but what we want to do on this coffee,shop is add a section here with some of,our calendar info,so over here on the left you'll see all,of uh elementor's widgets,what we're going to do is add a section,and,as we get to the bottom of these you'll,see there's a woocommerce option and,various other ones but you'll,see the events calendar now once you,have events calendar pro,installed alongside elementor on this,one i want to go ahead and add a photo,view,to my coffee shop so people can see,upcoming events,so you'll see i'm going to put the,calendar in there and i get to choose my,view,this one i want to choose photo and i,can choose whether i want to show this,events bar or not this shows the search,list,um but i can also choose if i want to,show featured events,by category and keyword and even if i,want to,change the format of the date or exactly,which styling these have,all without doing any code i can do this,all right within elementor,also if i want to mess with the margins,or spacing a little bit,we can do that right in the advanced,panel right here so if we want this one,a little closer,to the top panel you can do all of that,even animate,the way that our calendar appears on the,page,so that's pretty great with things we,can do with,adding one of the views you can do that,with month view,list view really any of the views that,come with events calendar pro,you can do that built into elementor,another option we have,is to maybe we just want to highlight,one single event,and with this we can choose a different,event or it'll just pull up our next one,immediately,if i wanted to i can go by um,event id of the page i'm on or manually,enter a page id,i can also search or do uh by slug,i can also filter many other ways what's,great about this,is we've broken up this widget into all,these different pieces so i can choose,what i want to show,so for this one i can choose title um,date and time,cost on this one i don't really think i,want description though,so we're going to go ahead and hide that,description but i want to keep the meta,box,so people know what's going on down,there,um and also if i have advanced fields,with events calendar pro,uh we can make sure that they show up,and how they do,so this is everything here this uh,widget here is full width but if you,want to adjus

Customizing Your Calendar - The Events Calendar WordPress Plugin

hello and welcome to another video from,the events calendar my name is james and,in this video we're going to talk about,several different ways of customizing,your calendar page,on your wordpress website when using the,events calendar plugin,so some of the methods require a little,bit of coding knowledge and some of the,methods require no coding knowledge and,we're going to go over all of those,different methods so no matter where you,are on the coding spectrum you should be,able to find some way to customize your,calendar so let's take a look,okay so for the purposes of this video,we have a fresh wordpress install here,and we just have the free events,calendar plugin installed and we've gone,ahead and put in some events that we can,look at,on the calendar so the first method that,we're going to talk about for,customizing your calendar,is through the wordpress customizer,so first thing i'm going to do is hop on,over to our calendar,okay and you can see we have a calendar,here and it looks pretty good,but you know perhaps your wordpress,theme,uses certain colors that don't look good,with this blue button here for instance,or the white background on this calendar,there are some basic styling options we,have if we hop over to this customizer,tab right here,and we come down to the events calendar,section,so there's some global elements and,there's also specifically the events bar,that we can customize month view which,is what we're looking at right now,and single event view so since we're,looking at the month view i'm going to,hop on over to the month view tab,and just to give you an example here,let's say we change this to red now,you'll notice these little words here,monday tuesday wednesday thursday,they're all red maybe that looks better,with your theme,the date marker will make that purple,now you can see that these numbers here,inside each date just turn purple so,these are some really easy basic ways,you can customize the way your calendar,looks without having to know any code,you don't have to use any custom css or,anything like that,and if we go back to,our global elements you'll see that we,can even adjust the font size,and some of the colors and so this is,just a really really cool easy way to,quickly customize your calendar and,hopefully help to make it match your,website theme a little bit better than,maybe it does right out of the box,another way that we can customize our,calendar without having to play around,with any,pesky code is to go into our event,settings so i'm going to back out of,this page,and go into our event settings,and we're going to want to go to the,display tab,and right here at the top there's a,couple things that we want to take a,quick look at so,first of all is the default style sheet,used for events templates now there's,two options here there's tribe event,styles that's our attempt to making a,really nice looking calendar and then,there's skeleton styles where basically,there's almost no,extra css involved so pret

Using The Events Calendar with Divi

hi,i'm jamie and in this video i will show,you how to use the events calendar with,divi,the first thing you'll want to do is,make sure that you have divi activated,on your site,as well as the events calendar you can,also install,the divi compatibility extension which,is a free extension that we have,that addresses a few minor compatibility,issues between our plugin,and the divi theme once you have all,that set up you can take a look at your,calendar,and see that right out of the box,things are looking pretty good,after that you can start to look at your,divi settings which,are under divi theme options,and you can see under the general tab,you'll want to look for this number of,posts displayed on archive pages,all the calendar pages are archive pages,so,once you have that compatibility,extension installed,this setting will be separate from the,calendar,uh setting,to add an event we recommend you add,using the classic,editor with divi,and you can uncheck this box under event,settings general in order to do that,and so you just add an event as you,typically would,and you publish your event,and that's an unstyled event but it's,ready to go,and the next thing that you can do is,use,the wordpress customizer,to customize,your event pages,and you can head over to the general,settings,we'll just expand this here,and you can look at layout settings and,you can enable box layout,which changes things a bit and you can,change some of the calendar layout,settings,and you can also change your theme,font and some other settings,related to your appearance here,and that's about it and if you would,like to take it a step further,you can use um the events calendar,um module which you can download from,divi

Using Shortcodes With The Events Calendar

Divi Events Calendar Plugin Feature Update 2.1

hey everyone it's nelson miller here,with pa creative,and today i have an exciting update for,our divi,events calendar plug-in this is version,2.1,and it has a ton of new features,and improvements so i want to show you,all of those here in this video,i'm really excited let's take a look at,this,all right so here we go 2.1,this is our biggest update obviously,since 2.0,and 2.0 was rather big it added,you know the events page module and the,carousel module,and changed the events feed and calendar,majorly improving those,this one is not uh the same,you know version number jump like 3.0,but it could be,it really is big and just to start off i,recommend just maybe checking the,changelog i mean obviously this video in,this post but,just take a look at the change log,do you see how long i had to scroll down,through there,so these are all really good things all,right let's take a look at this post,so i say right here you kind of see like,um,a warning or whatever but the basically,we're just saying,to um read a post that we have about,before updating it's basically there's a,couple things you need to know we're,going to touch,on them but i say that you know we have,to say that,because if you don't do that you don't,check your events feed module especially,it may change so just really be sure you,do,read the important update information,you really need to,there's a couple changes so let's start,in here the new event speed module,features what am i talking about here a,responsive layout structure so in the,past you could choose like lists and you,could choose like the image on the left,details right or top and bottom whatever,now we've totally gone away from that,and we made it a lot clearer,but gave you a lot more features now we,have grid list or cover,so let's go look at the demo really,quick of that in fact we have a new demo,site it's just um you used to be able to,go to div events calendar dot com slash,demo one,now it's just div eventscaler.com so we,were gonna do multi-site we're gonna do,multiple demos,but we decided not to do that the way we,were doing it,so now the demo is just divi,eventcalendar.com and so here we are on,modules,so we're going to click a page go to,events feed and then under events feed,we have documentation,settings list and layout options layout,options,is what we want right there here is grid,layout and it looks like image on top,details on bottom,you should notice some differences if,you were a customer before,this is a call out box this is brand new,you can choose your date month year,all that stuff you know labels and icons,the button image top details bottom,then we have list layout list is very,similar to what you were familiar with,before see there's image and details,or you could do a call out and you know,the date or whatever you want over there,um the month the year see you have here,you have call,out image details button and then you,have some opposite ones see how it's,like,various different layouts you can choose,

WordPress Tutorial: Events Calendar Plugin

hey everybody it's MIT's name with your,bi-weekly WordPress tutorial this week,we're going to learn how to add an,events calendar to our website there on,the sidebar so the first thing you want,to do is go to your website and type in,/w p admin to log in fill in your,username and password and then we want,to search for the plug-in that we need,it's over here under plugins on the left,side my calendar is not here that's when,we want so we want to say add new and,then you search for my calendar search,then we want to install is this one by,Joseph Dolson,so click install now it's a really easy,one look ok and you'll see that after,that we activate it and the calendar,commands will be here on the sidebar,item under my calendar we need to create,our categories first if we want to,categorize the kinds of events we'll be,having so click manage categories,defense 1 whatever you want to name it,add category if you want to delete your,categories under here you can manage,that just click delete there next manage,your locations say coffee-shop street,address all that information add,location and then you can also manage,your locations at the bottom of the,location tab like let's say you don't,want to have the corruption or you can,hit delete the next thing you want to do,is add your actual event describe,it,short description if you won't,categorize it and if there's a website,associated with it you can type it in,there give it a proper begin date end,date like that scroll them down we've,created locations already we can choose,one there and then save your event you,can manage your events down at the,bottom of that add event page so you,didn't want this one you could just,click delete and the next thing we need,to make sure yes the next thing we need,to do is make sure that people see your,events on your website so you would,manage that under your appearance and,widgets and we're going to give it a,sidebar widget there's a couple of ways,of displaying this calendar it's not,this one that's the WordPress calendar,itself it's called here my calendar,meaning calendar my calendar days events,and my calendar upcoming events the,upcoming events will be a line listing,and the mini calendar will show a little,calendar with a little highlighted,number link and today's events will only,show the events that are happening today,some will drag over the upcoming events,because I kind of like the line listing,style it gives more information you can,give it a title our events display that,coming events by different dates or by,the events themselves and then you just,click Save to show it on your front page,so when we scroll back up and toggle to,the front of the website you should see,the event that I added there on the top,right right there our events so if you,need to have an event calendar that,registers people let me know we can get,something hooked up on your site this,one doesn't actually register people but,it does show,information about stuff that's coming up,and if

📆 Outlook Calendar Tips & Tricks

Hey everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you my favorite top 14 tips and tricks in the Outlook ,calendar. There are lots of good ones that are going to help you save time. If you want to jump ,around this video, feel free to use the timestamps down below. All right let's jump on the PC.,Tip #1. I can use natural language to set the meeting start time in Outlook. Let's say that I ,have a co-worker who wants to meet, I don't know, in seven weeks. To figure that out, ,I'd have to click on the calendar icon and here I have to count forward seven weeks. Now was it ,the 25th or was it the first, I lost track, so I'd have to go back and count it again. ,Instead, I could let Outlook do the heavy lifting for me. Here I'll highlight this ,date and I'll simply type in in seven weeks. Then I'll hit enter and Outlook determines ,what that date is for me. Now, along with that, I could also type in something like, hey, let's meet ,the second Monday in July, then I'll hit enter, and it looks like that's July 12. When I click ,on the calendar icon, here I can confirm that July 12th is in fact the second Monday in July. ,I could also set different holidays. Let's say I want to know, hey, what about Christmas? ,Let's meet on Christmas. When I hit enter, here it figures out that it's December 25th, ,so it's pretty smart in figuring out what these dates are. But before you think it's all knowing; ,it doesn't get every date right. I don't know why, but here if I type in something like Thanksgiving ,and hit enter, I get this ugly error message. It might be because Thanksgiving falls on different ,days every year, but I do know that it's the last Thursday in November, so here I could type ,in last Thursday and let's type in November, hit enter, and it looks like it's 11/25/2021.,Tip #2. You can use the date navigator to view your calendar in whatever way you want to view it. ,Now right now, I'm in the week view of my calendar, and if I go up above, ,there are a few different predefined views. I can view just the individual day, the work week, ,the week, the month, and there's even a scheduled view, but what if I want to see even more time, ,or what if I just want to see some specific dates? Let's first look over at the date navigator over ,here on the left-hand side. So, right now, I'm currently viewing the month view, and so I see ,a little bit of April and a little bit of May. If I want to see more months coming up, here I could ,drag this and here now I see three months. Here I could even drag this area and I could pull it ,out and here I could see half a year all in one view. Now with all these different views here, ,especially the month view, I just see the full month. What if I just want to see, ,let's say two weeks on my calendar? So maybe this week and the upcoming week. I can go over here, ,and right over on the left-hand side of the weeks, my cursor changes and here I could highlight this ,week

War Thunder Calendar - When To Expect Sales, Updates, Events, Holidays, and Battle Pass
