sony used to have two different,subscription services for the,playstation now it just has one but that,one has three different tiers or three,different prizes so yes still kind of,confusing that's okay we're gonna go,over playstation plus the new,playstation plus and see which one of,these tiers that you if you happen to,have a playstation 5 or even a,playstation 4 should probably be,subscribing to,a problem started many years ago when,sony with the playstation and microsoft,with the xbox they realized that once,you bought the console if you weren't,buying games on a regular basis that was,kind of it as far as your commercial,relationship with the company went so,they said we need some recurring,subscription revenue so let's take some,stuff that people really need and kind,of hide it behind a paywall and the main,thing they did behind the paywall,initially was online multiplayer gaming,so if you wanted to play call of duty,with other people online you had to,subscribe to xbox live or you know the,playstation equivalent of that which was,playstation plus and that gave you that,online access over time both of these,companies really sweeten the pot by,adding more and more stuff to their,subscription services right now xbox,game pass is what they call the service,that has the online gameplay the big,catalog of games a couple of extra free,games per month and a few other things,now sony during this time has had,playstation plus which also gave you a,couple of free games to add to your,catalog every month and you would keep,access to those games as long as you're,a paying subscriber and the online,gameplay and some discounts and a few,other things but then they also had,playstation now which was a cloud-based,subscription service that was a totally,separate subscription you had to pay for,and that gave you access to mostly older,games that would cloud stream frankly,their cloud streaming has never been,that great because it's based on some,older technology from a company they,bought years ago that's a whole other,story but it was still confusing which,one do i want plus now do i get them,both do i get a discount if i subscribe,to both the answer was always no well,now sony has gotten rid of now they,basically folded it into the new,playstation plus,but playstation plus now has three,different tiers there's the essential,the extra and the premium now just again,out of the way essential is 10 bucks a,month extra is 15 and premium is 18 and,there are discounts if you get you know,a full year subscription,now what do you get for each one this is,where we got to dive into the details a,little bit i'm going to actually pop,over here to playstation plus and i'm,going to go down and see what all the,benefits are i'm going to scroll all the,way over to start let's go over to,essential the real stuff to keep in mind,for essential and each tier up includes,that stuff plus the stuff from the tiers,before,obviously cloud storage that's really,big if you have a play

Explaining Sony's Three New PlayStation Plus Packages

sony is revamping playstation plus the,subscription service to get games on,your playstation 5 and playstation 4 and,of course they've taken one product and,turned it into three three tiers of,playstation plus service i'm going to,explain what that all means and how it,relates to their other service,playstation now which is a name you may,not hear much after today,for a while now we've really considered,xbox game pass and xbox game pass,ultimate to be really the best game,subscription service you get a ton of,content you can play it on your xbox you,can cloud game it pc games and the,ultimate version,and a lot of brand new games like halo,infinite coming to the service on day,one now sony has had its own version,called playstation plus for just about,as long,but it doesn't really offer the same,level of content they give you you know,two games a month uh from up from a,pretty big list that you can download,and keep as long as you're a member you,get online multiplayer access,you get cloud saves and on the,playstation 5 there's a nice little,catalog of about a dozen or so pretty,nifty games that you can access and play,but that's really about it,at the same time sony somewhat,confusingly had a whole separate service,called playstation now which was their,version of cloud gaming where games are,played on a remote server somewhere and,it just beams it to you kind of like,google stadia or nvidia geforce now but,that was a separate subscription you had,to pay for on top of playstation plus,and the two things sort of existed in,their own silos not together now they're,kind of coming together depending on,which tier of playstation plus new,service that you get so it's broken down,into three tiers now i went to the old,white board to break it down for you,if you have playstation plus today,that's basically going to be playstation,plus essential the basic tier still 60 a,year and for that you get,sony's choice of two different games a,month that you can download and keep you,get cloud saves for your games and of,course online multiplayer,because you have to have a subscription,to get your console online to play,multiplayer games now,if you trade up to the next level that,is playstation plus extra that's gonna,be a hundred dollars a year and this,feels the most like xbox game pass in,that it adds this catalog of 400 extra,games,i don't know exactly what's in the,catalog yet but these are again games,that you can download and keep on your,local console for as long as you are a,member of playstation plus extra so if,you're thinking of microsoft has xbox,game pass and has this big library,playstation has playstation plus this is,the tier that most closely resembles,that,and then there's a new top top end here,that is playstation plus premium,and this is 120 a year and if you think,about playstation now and the cloud,streaming service that that is that not,a lot of people even really know about a,lot of that seems to get pulled into,this because in addition to

you've started purchasing into the wyze ecosystem perhaps even you like me were an early adopter ,to the wyze product line one of those promises was person detection and for people purchasing ,wyze products going forward or even if you're an old timer like me once you purchase the version 3 ,you may notice that your person detection is not applicable to version 3 or if you're new ,going forward so in order to get person detection on your version three ,or if you're a new person who just started get person detection on ,version three outdoor pan cam or version two you need wyze subscription service known as ,cam plus the big question is is cam plus worth it for you hello i am Wanderer001 and this is ,going to be a look at is wyze cam subscription service cam plus worth it for you the first thing ,that i'm going to say is of all the subscription services comparatively it is the cheapest however ,the subscription service is per camera not per account so once i talk about the price of it later ,you're going to see that could add up depending on how many cameras you have the main features ,and we're going to come into the events area because it's the easiest way to describe this ,the main benefits of cam plus if you're a new person is person detection if you're a legacy ,user such as myself it still is person detection in some cases however it is also unlimited event ,recording to the cloud no cooldown period in between triggers and you can have unlimited ,trigger alerts what do i mean by that so here we have my version three and my version two which are ,in the garage when i select my version 2 it's going to let me know that it detected a person ,however to the cloud it will only be able to record a 12 second clip so here you can ,see i'm sneaking into the garage there and i'm actually going to look around a little bit but the ,classic person detection for legacy users cuts off at 12 seconds if you have an sd card you ,can always go back and play this however if you had cam plus here's what my version 3 saw ,situated in exactly the same position in my garage it captures everything another benefit ,that has been added to cam plus is the ability to speed this up so if i don't want to have to scrub ,through this at real time i can speed this up and i can see all the actions that have happened so ,the speed up is something new that was added to cam plus cam plus was originally just for person ,detection but they've added so many more things the other thing is it will continuously trigger ,so for my version two there is a five minute cooldown between triggers ,for my wyze cam outdoor i set the trigger length down to one minute but that still means there is ,30 seconds in between that trigger that it may not catch something wyze cam plus subscription service ,will continuously trigger once one trigger is done it will roll automatically roll into the next so ,that's a nice feature you can also se

Reason+ Subscription... My thoughts plus trying out some of the sound packs!

so reason plus was announced a few weeks,ago and i just wanted to give,my thoughts on it now that the dust has,settled,and people have kind of accepted what it,is let's just talk about what it is what,it isn't,and what you get with it i'll show you a,couple little sounds that come with it,so you get,some idea of what the whole thing is all,about and then decide if this is,something that you want to go for,so what is reason plus well it's a,subscription service,and most of us hear that s word,and get you know a little bit triggered,right off the bat and,i gotta say i'm not a fan of,subscriptions myself,but the problem is once you're in for a,few years on a subscription especially,on something like this,you're in it and there's almost no way,to get out of it unless they give you,some kind of,option like buying the software outright,but if you've been paying for years,it's pretty hard to justify that i think,people are just most upset,in that they don't want to be tied to,a service they don't want to be tied to,a subscription and they also don't want,to have to,stop paying a subscription and then not,be able to open their projects in the,future,and i think the thing you've always got,to remember with this kind of,subscription,is the fact that they are giving you the,monthly option and it's not that much,different than the yearly option,and so i would if i was kind of on the,fence i would always go with the monthly,subscription,cancel it when you know you're going to,be busy for a month and you can't be,working on your,software well cancel it for a month if,you don't think you're going to need it,and then pick it up again a month later,or six months later when you start,working with the software again,to have those options i think makes this,a much more respectable,subscription service in my opinion so,who is reason plus,for i think it's definitely for the new,users who have never,invested into this ecosystem somebody,like myself who paid for the sweet,version just over a year year and a bit,ago it's a little harder,to entice us because we have most of the,synths and players and stuff like that,that are,in the reason plus that we would be,subscribing,for there is a new synthesizer coming i,think it's going to be,beautiful i'll have a video on it next,week and you know these synthesizers,generally go for,150 bucks or whatever it is for these,synths and players and stuff like that,and so if you're kind of factor those in,if you're going to keep using the,software then,the subscription starts to make a little,bit more sense,the other thing you get with reason plus,is the reason,packs that come out apparently weekly,and so that's what i want to show you a,little bit here today show you what to,expect with those,so we'll talk about my thoughts on those,how they integrate with,reason as a rack device and whether or,not they're worth it and how they could,improve on those,going forward so this little companion,app,is the way that you download shows you,the

U.S. authorities launch FTX task force to recover users' funds

Ring doorbell without subscription. Plus Alternatives.

okay so about a month ago i bought a,ring video doorbell from amazon i'm,really pleased with it it's a great,system,the free trial lasts for 30 days and my,free trial ends tomorrow so,i've got a notification here last day of,ring protect all videos will be lost,tomorrow and i wanted to see,exactly what happens when you lose your,free trial i probably will end up,subscribing but i'm going to play around,with it after the trial has ended and,see what the service is like so if i tap,on my doorbell at the moment on my ipad,and i can do this from wherever i am so,if i'm on my mobile phone i can answer,calls and have a look at live what's uh,what's being shown on the camera now,unfortunately we have a large tree,outside the front of our house which,doesn't help but you can see if i zoom,around,it's actually pretty good quality,i can end the live call i can turn on,voice you can see at the bottom here and,also the speaker so i can hear what's,going on outside probably not a lot at,the moment,i turn it up full volume on my ipad,oh you can hear the wind,yeah you can hear the wind picking up so,let's turn that off,and then end the live the app gives you,the option of going back and seeing so i,had a delivery driver earlier on,and if i well let's just hit play,because i don't think he pressed,i don't think he pressed the bell i'm,going to blow him out but you can see,the van,pretty decent quality,even though the distance is quite far,away,so if i pause that and i can go back,through,postman me coming back,earlier on and it shows it in a low,quality like this but when you actually,play it it plays it in a much higher,quality so you can see there and if we,find something at night,there will be times when i would have,looked at it at night,let's have a look,lots of activity,yeah here we go so this is it at night,and a lot of this uh it would actually,not have any other light so this this is,the infrared system and i'm actually,really pleased with it um it uh it takes,a snapshot every hour so you can see,various different things,and i like it oh you can see the windows,open and the windows closed and i like,it as a security element and also i,managed to take a package in uh the,other day i'm not sure if it must be on,here somewhere,let's try and filter this because,sure events by type so ring motion so,when it was actually run so that will,narrow it down a bit,had some food being delivered,i think this is the one answered ring,hello hey mate ups you got to pass up,okay do you want to leave under the tree,i'm about 10 minutes away,is that all right,yeah just suck it up,no problem thank you,so little things like that are really,cool the fact that i was i was actually,at my bike at the time uh and i was only,about 15-20 minutes from home so i got,him to leave the parcel under the tree,and otherwise he'd probably taken it,back to the depot or tried a neighbor so,it was just nice that you can interact,with it so i don't know what happens,after this service ends so i
